Die simple physische Herstellung eines bsplsw. integrierten Schaltkreises wird viel höher bewertet als die abstraktere, vom Potential ungleich weitreichendere Entwicklung von reiner Software/Algorithmen.
Für benötigte Mikroprozessoren zB wird es immer eine Reihe von Herstellern geben und es gelten die physikalischen Grenzen.
Ein Algorithmus ist nur durch Theorien beschränkt, die weder ausgereizt noch unumstößlich sind.

Aber wahrscheinlich notieren richtungsweisende Software-Entwickler seltener an der Börse...

Potential hat nach dieser Denkweise sicherlich CMGI !
