Grund des Anstiegs war anscheinend das Gerücht dass CICI beim Palm zum Zuge kommt!

Firma erscheint mir sehr aussichtsreich, weiss aber noch zuwenig darüber. Bin durch dieses Posting im Yahoo-Board auf die Firma aufmerksam geworden:
"ICI - is getting ready to boom. Do your own D&D, and ask yourself if you should have a position in CICI. All kinds of news including company (CICI china subsidy)partially owned (10%)by the Chinese government. Company has done something (i`m not real sure sharp on this stuff) about keyboard reconition for the Chinese alphabet. Something to do with too may characters in the chinese alhabet for a normal keyboard to reconize. Well supposedly they have a product for that now along with a company owned 10% by the Chinese government, the sky is the limit. The have an awful lot going for them right now. This company has not made any money since it inception, but now all the research and development is behind them. They have contracts with Ericson , 3com and many others that will start producing income in the first quarter of 2000. They are on the leading edge of signature verification which when signed by the President will boost this stock way above next weeks expectations Stock was under a $1 a/sh two months ago and closed 12/31 @ 8 1/4. Should see $15 minimum middle of the week. Will probably open at $ 8 3/4 to 9 on Monday morning"
Phantasie ist ja mit dieser pen-based software jede Menge drin, wenn man jetzt nur mal den Markt in China mit deren Schriftzwichen bedenkt. Bei einer angeblichen 10% Beteiligung des Staates des chinesischen Ablegers hat CICI einen grossen Wettbewerbsvorteil genüber Konkurrenten.

Once this development effort is completed, CIC`s Jot handwriting recognition and e-signature capabilities will be implemented in MiddleSoft`s graphical user interface. The interface is well suited for handheld devices and Internet information appliances and can be integrated with new and existing widget frameworks on Linux such as QT and GTK.
Mike Sullivan, VP of Business Development for CIC stated, ``MiddleSoft`s Linux development and graphical user interface (GUI) expertise is an ideal complement to CIC`s proven input and biometric electronic signature technologies. im augenblick sind die köpfe im board noch mit den harmon-picks beschäftigt (AOL, ist ja irre).
