Pacific Century Cyberworks finished at approximately HK$18.10 in U.S. Both counters are expected to continue to rise today on expectation that the company will announce more details about their cooperation in developing Internet-related business. The strength of the technology shares` leaders may send a boost to the other technology players. Among them, we prefer (409) Stone Electronics Technology, (418) Founder (Hong Kong), (706) Start Technology, (097) Henderson Investment Holdings, (243) QPL Holdings, (138) CCT Telecom Holdings and (535) Hing Kong Holdings.

elephant man Wow , what a day !! The action of market today is very unsual !! After G.S addressed his speech , most of the Asian markets went up ... except HK ! Right after lunch , HK`s market plung almost 300 pts. and went below 15,000 . At the last 1/2 hr , market went from 15322 to 15542 with a good 220pts up at that 30 mins !! Obviously , some BIG SHOT is planning something BIG . My assumption is , they try to push the market down to 15,500 level and close their SHORT POSITION !! . If my assumption is right , i think we have already reached the bottom and we will move up from now on and probably reach 20000 by mid 2000. My assumption is also based on the fact that both NASDQ , S&P and DOW are forming a very powerful triangle !! Although the direction of these triangles are not clear , however , indications from 30 yrs bond yield ,US$ as well as G.S. tonight`s addressing are all pointing at max. 0.5% rate hike (( MAX>). I believe this rate hike has been factored into tha market . With the reaction of the market sentiment in ASIA and the trading pattern today in HK PLUS NASDQ future is acting really well in GLOBEX ! I believe US makret is going to be GOOD tommorrow and we are going to have an UPSIDE movemwnt from now on !! This assuimption could be TOTALLY WRONG however i do believe it is going to happen ! Anyway , the picture would be much clear by next week !! BTW, I put my money on my word . I fully loaded with 18,757,409,267 today when the market hit low at 2:35 !! Wish me a lot of LUCK !!
