In a UCSF study, 586 patients...

from six San Francisco alcohol treatment centers were tested for HIV antibodies using the urine test. Matched blood and urine specimens were tested for HIV by two independent laboratories, neither of which was privy to the results of the other site.

"The results of this study further confirm that urine is an accurate, safe and less expensive testing mechanism for HIV," said Dr. Alvin Friedman-Kien, a New York University researcher who was the first to detect the presence of HIV antibodies in urine.

Two studies recently published...

in the Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Clinical Infectious Diseases come to important conclusions about urine testing for HIV; it is as accurate as blood testing and plays a major role in encouraging people to get HIV tests.

"Use of the experimental HIV antibody test greatly facilitated our attempts to determine the HIV status of our subjects. Most subjects were unwilling to be tested until they learned that only a urine sample was required; after learning of this requirement, 73 percent agreed to provide a specimen," the researchers

Und noch eine andere Überlegung!
Freigabe von Versicherungen!
Wenn eine Versicherungsgesellschaft bei Abschluß einer Lebensversicherung einen Gesundheitstest verlangt, so wird sicherlich nicht nur auf AIDS untersucht. Sondern auch auf andere Krankheiten!
Blut wird immer abgenommen, sogar bei der kleinsten Routineuntersuchung.....

Wozu einen zusätzlichen Test machen wenn man sowieso das Blut untersucht.
Der Urintest für Versicherungsgesellschaften zwar zugelassen aber meiner Meinung nach nicht brauchbar!

Grund: Überschaubare Aktienanzahl, Gutes Management, Produkt das unbedingt benötigt wird!

It is rumored the institutional investor who was issued stock at a discount to the market simply sold it all and run out of supply.

CALY has a current price of $0.12800 per share.

According to OTC Journal`s disclaimer, MarketByte LLC was compensated 250,000 free trading shares of Calypte common stock by First Stage Capital for coverage of Calpyte Biomed. On August 12, 2002, MarketByte LLC entered into an agreement directly with CALY to continue coverage of the company through October 31, 2002. CALY has pledged $25,000 cash as compensation, and an additional 300,000 shares of free trading stock were paid by a third party on behalf of the company. The Company also issued the investment fund a Class B warrant to purchase an additional 12,000,000 shares of its Common Stock. Upon the effectiveness of the related registration statement, the investment fund is required to exercise the Class B warrant in conjunction with the mandatory monthly conversion of its debentures so that each month the Company will issue to the investment fund, pursuant to the Class B warrant, a number of shares equal to 150% of the shares issued to the fund pursuant to the monthly conversion of the debentures. Because the fund is required to convert the debentures for a minimum number of shares equal to 5% of the Company’s aggregate trading volume for the preceding 60 trading days, this means that the fund must exercise the Class B warrant during each monthly conversion period for a number of shares equal to 7.5% of such trading volume, provided that more than 2 million shares will not be issued per month pursuant to such conversion and exercise without the Company’s consent.


The aggregate of 18,500,000 warrants were valued on the date of issue at $0.0155 per share

Mr. Cataldo was granted fully-vested options to purchase 1,966,666 shares of the Company’s common stock at $0.015 per share and options to purchase 6,000,000 shares of the Company’s common stock at $0.03 per share
