LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Internet Initiative Japan Inc said that as less than 300 prospective new investors had submitted purchase orders for its initial public share offering in Japan, it will not be fulfill the listing requirements of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The company said it expects to terminate the offering and withdraw its listing application early next week. It will seek a domestic listing in Japan at a future date, it added.

NEW YORK, June 17 (Reuters) - Shares of Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJI.O: Quote, Profile, Research) plunged 24 percent before the bell on Friday after the Internet access provider withdrew plans to list its stock in Canada [ID:nT132840].
On the Inet electronic brokerage network, the stock was down $2.55 at $8.15 after closing Thursday at $10.70 on Nasdaq.
