      Fast-Tracking to Production
High-grade gold Rescue Mine property doubles in size
      Kimberly Gold Mines, Inc.
      OTC: KMGM

Aggressive management at Kimberly Gold Mines (OTC: KMGM) -- www.kimberlygold.com -- in the past two years has carried the company a long way toward its goal of becoming a major gold producer of high-quality projects with multi-million ounce potential in the U.S. Northwest.
Among the company’s major recent milestones: purchase of the former producing Rescue and Kimberly Gold Mines in central Idaho; near doubling of the company’s land position at the Rescue; the purchase of the Matthews and Compton gold properties in central Washington’s Wenatchee Gold Belt, and the purchase of the Empire Creek Project in northeastern Washington’s Republic Graben.
Since the company’s leaders are highly experienced in narrow-vein mine production, their focus on past-producing and advanced exploration narrow-vein projects is a natural fit.
“Considerable opportunity exists within this sector, since companies with deep pockets are not interested in rich, narrow-vein projects and most junior mining companies don’t have the production experience,” says Kimberly Gold President Kevin Shiell.
High-Grade Rescue Mine Advances to Production

Kimberly Gold is intent on bringing its most advanced property – the Rescue Mine in Idaho – to full production by 2006. The high-grade Rescue vein has historical grades of nearly one ounce per ton with some 60% occurring as free gold. Bonanza-grade gold and silver has been discovered at multiple locations. Recent exploration identified additional high-grade gold veins with channel sampling gold values in excess of one ounce per ton. Because there are multiple underground access points to gold-bearing veins, the company has not performed a drilling program to establish a true resource, thought to be more than 100,000 oz. gold with strong potential for becoming a multi-million ounce deposit. The company intends to conduct a limited drilling program this summer to begin quantifying resources
The Rescue Mine is located in Idaho’s Marshall Mountain Mining District and includes 500 acres and 32 unpatented mining claims.
The Rescue property includes a fully operational 120 tpd mill and extensive mining equipment capable of handling production for both the Rescue and nearby Kimberly mines. Last fall the company built a new mill building and restored electrical power. During the coming year, the company plans a survey and mapping program and will test mill efficiencies. No permitting issues are anticipated.

Rich Potential at Kimberly, Wenatchee & Empire Creek

The Kimberly gold-silver property, located only about 30 miles from the Rescue, has the potential for more than 500,000 ounces of gold. The property covers 480 acres, 24 unpatented claims, and includes several former gold mines, including the Kimberly Mine, where the company has repaired old adits and tunnels.
Kimberly Gold believes its Wenatchee Gold Belt properties, which have historically produced 1.6 million ounces of gold, have the potential for more than 3 million ounces of gold. Empire Creek, located in an area that historically has produced more than 5 million ounces of gold, has the potential for gold production of more than 1 million ounces.
      Solid Management
Kimberly Gold management is solid, with a significant depth of exploration, production and financial experience. President, Kevin Shiell, has over 25 years operational mine experience at such majors as Stillwater and Hecla. Shiell has assembled a like-minded, production-oriented team in Don Rolfe, Director, a 30 year veteran engineer with senior management experience; Raymond De Motte, Director, with over 25 years of international financial management experience; Terry Rice, Sr.VP, a metallurgist with over 30 years experience in the western U.S.; Jim Williams, VP of Exploration and Geology, who led precious, base and industrial mineral projects worldwide for over 20 years; and Brian Higdem, VP, associated with the Kimberly Gold Mine Project for 15 years.

      Investment Considerations

Bringing the high-grade Rescue Mine to production next year and the Kimberly by 2007-8 requires an infusion of $1-million in new capital. Kimberly Gold recently hired an independent consultant to prepare a “43-101” technical report on its Rescue, Kimberly, and Wenatchee properties that will be submitted with its listing application to the TSX Venture Exchange. The report will assess mineral assets and project potential, and recommend how to best advance company projects. The company also is updating its accounting and financial reports, also required for listing.
A producing Rescue Mine will provide Kimberly Gold with ample cash flow and the stability necessary to begin a more aggressive exploration and development on its other gold-rich properties. In the last year, the company has virtually doubled its land position at the Rescue. The company also continues to seek high-grade property acquisitions to add to its already impressive portfolio.
On February 19, the company entered into a letter of intent under which International Arimex Resources Inc. would acquire up to a 50% interest in the Kimberly Gold Mine, Rescue Gold Mine and Empire Creek mineral properties in exchange for C$235,000 and spending C$3 million in exploration over the next four years. The formal agreement must be approved by both companies’ boards and the TSX Venture Exchange.
“Kimberly Gold Mines, with its great people and assets, has the foundation to become a great company. We are committed to lifting this company into the ranks of producers. Kimberly Gold has the potential for very real revenues,” says Shiell.

      Infos zur Kimberly Mine:

      Kimberly Property
      OVERVIEW:
The Kimberly gold-silver property is located in central Idaho about twenty miles east of Riggins and consists of 24 unpatented mining claims covering an area of 480 acres (194 hectares) which are owned 100% by Kimberly.

Several former gold mines are located on the property including the Kimberly, Hickson Bishop, Gold Crest and Crystal Mine workings. These comprise gold and silver bearing quartz veins in meta-sedimentary rocks of the Belt Group, which have been thermally altered to quartzite, biotite-quartz schist and marble by a quartz-monzonite intrusion, probably part of the Idaho batholith.

There are at least three veins on the property, which have been explored and partially mined, and others have been discovered. The ore contains free gold usually associated with limonite, pyrite and trace amounts of arsenopyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, tetrahedrite and galena. The veins range from a few inches to several feet thick and ore shoots tend to swell and pinch along strike and down dip. Strike length of the veins are from 600 ft (183m) to thousands of feet.

There are many adits and tunnels in the old mines. Since 1999 when Kimberly acquired the property, much repair, cleanup, and rehabilitation work has been completed by the Company. Access is now available to the Gold Crest No 1 & 2, the Kimberly, Hickson and Bishop No. 2 tunnels and mineralized zones and much mapping and sampling has been completed. Once the several other underground workings have been rehabilitated the property will be evaluated by a N.I. 43-101 qualified person.

      Rescue Mine Property
      OVERVIEW:
The Rescue gold-silver property is located in central Idaho, one-half mile southeast of Warren and 32 air miles northeast of McCall. The property consists of 34 unpatented claims covering an area of 500 acres (202 hectares). Nine of the claims have an underlying 3% N.S.R., the remaining 25 have no underlying royalties.

The Rescue Mine is a high-grade gold vein hosted in quartz monzonites of the Idaho Batholith. This quartz vein is east-west striking and moderate to steeply south dipping and has been traced on surface and followed by mine workings for approximately 3,800 ft (1,159m). It is typically lenticular ranging up to 3 ft thick, is mineralized with gold, galena, sphalerite, tetrahedrite, stibnite and pyrite, and is reported to have been found to date in three separate mineralized shoots. In the adjacent Unity Mine the vein has been developed for 600 ft vertically. Of the several lode gold hosted quartz veins on the property, only the Rescue Vein has been mined to date.

The presence of surface facilities such as a 150 ton/day gravity mill, associated ancillary buildings and substantial underground development on a significant portion of the Rescue Vein, may provide Kimberly the opportunity for mining and milling of gold and silver ores from the property itself and for custom milling of ores from other mines in the Warren Mining District.

As for Type 2 juniors, my current choice is Kimberly Gold Mines (KMGM). Kimberly is a quiet company that has diligently assembled a sturdy portfolio of high-percentage exploration targets in Idaho and Washington. I won`t spend time describing the properties, as that information is readily available on their website. Instead, I want to focus on its share structure, because that is, in part, what puts Kimberly ahead of the crowd, and provides a good portion of its upside potential.

Kimberly is led by Kevin Shiell, a long time miner and proven leader who knows both the business of mining and the mining districts Kimberly`s properties are located in. He is the bulldozer of the company, pushing it forward on a daily basis. But it is the CFO, Ray De Motte, to whom I turn my attention, because it is Ray`s philosophy about company structure and shareholder relations that bears exploring.

People are starting to recognize the name De Motte. Ray came to the precious metals arena late in life after stints in finance, accounting and international business with Bechtel and McKesson Corporations. He brought with him the financial discipline of those mature corporations, and it has served him well.

The first thing that you note when talking to Ray is his focus on the shareholder. This isn`t just a lip-service thing with Ray, it is ingrained in his way of thinking. He constantly speaks from the shareholder`s viewpoint, and always makes time to return a shareholder`s phone call or answer a shareholder`s email. Ray introduced himself to me after I wrote a short piece on one of his companies, Sterling Mining (SRLM) of which he is CEO, by taking the time to write a lengthy note thanking me for my efforts. That is what I call a hands-on CEO. He has a favorite expression he uses frequently, "I always have time for my shareholders."

This obsession with his shareholders is not a PR gimmick. It translates into a pragmatic and valuable approach to the structuring of Kimberly`s stock. Founding shares have been kept to a minimum and the float is tightly limited. The result is that Kimberly, like its bigger brother, Sterling comes to the market like a coiled spring. While many junior gold companies must start out life with tens-of-millions of shares (often as a result of finance-related dilution), Kimberly hosts less than 9 million shares outstanding, of which 5.8 million are in company-related hands. That means that Kimberly enjoys a float of about 3 million shares, and many of those are in the strong hands of knowledgeable Silver Valley investors who understand the game and are in for the long haul. The actual trading stock is currently estimated to be 850,000 shares! As a result, Kimberly is basing at $1.20, when its counterparts might be at 12 cents.

I call this the Ray De Motte School of Share Structure, and you find it in every mining venture he is involved with. For Ray, who is a big-vision guy, when it comes to shares less is more. He knows that a tight share structure imparts the best value to his shareholders, including himself. And when it comes time to raise equity capital, Ray`s companies are well-positioned to leverage their share value for top dollars at minimum dilution.

Ray`s financial perspective is reflected in Kimberly`s mid-term objectives. De Motte and Shiell have set an average target of $275/oz as their cost structure, including everything: acquisition, overhead, debt service, production, promotion, and expansion. Their strategic objective for Kimberly is to prove-up 2 million ounces of resource with minimal share dilution, and they are well on their way toward that goal. By 2005, Kimberly hopes to have expanded to several million ounces, be armed with a sizable war chest, and still boast a float of perhaps 4 million shares against total outstanding shares of less than fifteen million. He and Kevin are also committed to moving off the pink sheets in 2004 and putting their investor relations program into high gear. And they intend to accomplish all this while holding down expenses. In this regard, the close relationship between Sterling Mining and Kimberly is beneficial through the sharing of expertise.

De Motte speaks. Here are a few "Rayisms" which reflect both his philosophy and his enthusiasm:

"We create quality gold products with tight share structures..."
"My job is to build super leverage for our shareholders..."
"I want Kimberly to be the Swiss Franc of the pennies, not the Mexican peso"
"We have a mania for keeping costs down"
"The existing assets must be worth more than the share value"

All of this is music to my ears as a shareholder. By basing at $1.20, Kimberly is positioned for explosive growth during the next phase of gold`s rise. Kimberly is currently an exploration company, but it is staffed by operator-types and its goal is production. Its tight share structure makes it a triple-threat to succeed in the coming years.

      Conclusion

With the ending of suppression and resultant rise of gold toward its honest market price, a plethora of shiny-new gold explorers are sprouting like weeds on the investment landscape. For those wishing to gain maximum leverage to the rise of gold, it is more important than ever to use judgement in selecting which juniors will live and which will die.
