The Company
Black Range Minerals is an ASX-listed resources company focused on growth through:

Koonenberry Base Metal Project, NSW

The Company’s 100% owned Koonenberry Base Metal Project contains one of Australia’s last identified but undeveloped high-grade copper deposits, the Grasmere Copper Deposit.

Following 12 months of intensive exploration the Company recently recalculated the resource base at the Koonenberry Base Metal Project. This resulted in a 1000% increase in the JORC inferred resource to:

5.75Mt at 1.03% Cu, 0.35% Zn, 2.30g/t Ag and 0.05g/t Au

for almost 60,000 tonnes of contained copper.

Black Range has delineated an extensively mineralised massive sulphide system in an under-explored province, located approximately 100km east of Broken Hill. High-grade massive sulphide mineralisation has now been intersected over more than 4,000 metres of strike, to depths greater than 450 metres. Mineralisation is open in all directions.

The Company has initiated a scooping study to evaluate the economics of commencing a mining operation at the Koonenberry Base Metal Project. As part of that study the Company will continue its aggressive exploration campaign, including infill and extensional drilling at the Grasmere and Peveril Deposits and drilling the along-strike extensions of the mineralised horizon.


Cyclone Rim and Eagle Uranium Projects, Wyoming, USA

The Company has recently formed a Joint Venture with Uranerz Energy Corporation of the USA to explore and develop the advanced Cyclone Rim and Eagle Uranium Projects located in the Red Desert area of southwest Wyoming. The Company’s initial exploration target estimates are approximately 3 million pounds of uranium oxide (U3O8) at the Cyclone Rim Project and approximately 2 million pounds of U3O8 at the Eagle Project. The Company intends converting these resources to JORC standards as soon as practicable. Compilation and assessment of historic data is underway, and drilling will commence in third quarter of 2006.

Both deposits are shallow and amenable to in-situ leaching and/or open-pit mining. With the imminent recommissioning of the Sweetwater Uranium Mill, located just 25km from both projects, the Company could potentially be in production in the foreseeable future.

Hi @ all,
habe den Wert schon sehr lang, eigentlich zu lang im Focus.
Eine kleine Long-Position kann eigentlich nicht schaden.
Die Ergebnisse nächsten Monat müssten gut ausfallen.
Das Unternehmen hat in letzter Zeit relative Stärke gezeigt.
Ich habe nur noch nicht richtig rausgefunden, was mit dem Agreement von Uranerz Energy dahinter steckt.
...und in D noch nicht entdeckt.
