da nun leider der Hauptthread No.999874 und der Nebenthread No.1096048 von Fortress Base Metals ( ex. Aumega ) unter der alten WKN nicht mehr geführt wird und alle nützlichen Beiträge der letzten Zeit wohl "verloren" gehen, ist es Sinnvoll, einen neuen "The-Best-Of-Thread" zu eröffnen.

Davon sollen vor allen Dingen "Fortress-Neulinge" profitieren,
die hier die Gelegenheit bekommen, sich schnell in das Thema "Fortress" einzulesen. Schließlich verhindert Wissen Unruhe und Unsicherheit im Thread und erschwert "Bashern" die Arbeit.

VANCOUVER, Aug. 15 /CNW/ - Aumega Discoveries Ltd. (TSX.V: AUM) is pleased to announce the signing of an option agreement with Ursula Mowat on the Star copper, platinum and palladium Property. The Star property is located in north central British Columbia beside the road to the North Gate kemess copper mine and consists of 15 claims (244 units) covering 6950 hectares (17174 acres).

Mineralization on the Star Property covers the Polaris ultramafic complex, a differentiated Alaskan-type intrusive body. The complex is approximately elliptical and extends for more than 20 km along its longest axis. Mineralization consists of disseminated chalcopyrite with associated pyrrhotite and pentlandite. Assays from work to date indicate anomalous platinum, palladium and gold values associated with the sulphide mineralization in some ten flat lying zones of pyroxene rich rocks within the 20 km long body. Limited sampling and drill testing has been carried out in the exploration of these zones. Aumega plans to continue systematic prospecting and mapping of the project area in conjunction with drilling of the showings already identified.

More then 40 km of this favourable lithology has been outline to date. Ten areas of significant values of copper-platinum-palladium, with minor nickel and gold have been located to date. The zones, include the Ridge, Queen, GL, Haslinger A, B and C, Taurus, 661, the Cauldron, the Jewel Box and the Grid.

Under the option agreement, Aumega has the right to earn a 100% interest
in the Star Property by making cash payments of C$200,000, issuing 500,000
shares and making accumulative work expenditures of C$1.5M over 5-years.
Aumega will grant Ursula Mowat a 2% NSR which Aumega can reduce to a 1% NSR
for C$1.5M. The entering into of this Option Agreement is subject to
regulatory approval.
From 2002 to 2005 the price of platinum has risen US$450/oz to a current
price of US$904/oz. Global demand for Platinum is being driven by the
automotive industry, industrial requirements and the fine jewelry market. The
catalyst for global demand has been the auto industry which purchased 3.51
million oz of platinum in 2004 with the greatest contribution to growth in
platinum demand coming from Europe.

Gewinnung von Kupfer:

Zuerst werden Kupfererze geröstet (in Gegenwart von Sauerstoff erhitzt).
Dabei wird Cu(I)-sulfid zu Cu(I)-oxid und SO2.
Das Cu(I)-oxid kann mit Kohlenstoff reduziert werden.
In einem anderen Verfahren wird aus Cu(I)-sulfid durch Aufblasen von Sauerstoff Kupfer und Schwefeldioxid.

Das so erhaltene Rohkupfer hat einen Cu-Gehalt von 94-97% und wird elektrolytisch raffiniert (gereinigt).

Elektrolytische Kupfer-Raffination:
Das Rohkupfer wird als Anode in eine Kupfersulfatlösung gehängt. Es wird eine Spannung gewählt, bei der sich die Anode auflöst und nur Cu an der Kathode abscheidet. Die Verunreinigungen gehen zum Teil in Lösung und scheiden sich zum Teil als "Anodenschlamm" am Boden ab. Aus dem Anodenschlamm werden die übrigen Metalle gewonnen.

AUMEGA PLANS FURTHER DRILLING AND IP ON POPLAR

Aumega Discoveries Ltd. will be commencing the next phase of work on its Poplar project, located 75 kilometres south of Houston, B.C., and 35 kilometres north of the producing Huckleberry mine. The company expects to start further line cutting this month for an induced polarization survey on the north-west side of the main zone. Further drilling is planned in the China Creek zone, the Main zone and target follow-up in the area of the new induced polarization grid.

The drilling on the China Creek zone will explore geophysical targets and follow trend surface vectors in the mineralization identified in the assay results from the recent drill program. Anomalous copper and molybdenum values were encountered in the core samples from the aureole rocks around the China Creek stock.

Drilling on the main zone will explore for tonnage carrying higher grades of copper, with the focus being on the previously identified near-surface higher-grade zones that were intersected as illustrated in the following drill holes.

Earlier work by Utah mines (now BHP Billiton) and others indicated a substantial copper resource which has not yet been recalculated to bring it into compliance with requirements under regulations pertaining to National Instrument 43-101. This lower-grade historical resource would benefit from having a smaller (20 to 30 million tonnes) tonnage of higher-grade mineralization (0.5 per cent to 0.8 per cent copper) to allow an early payback of capital costs.

Dr. A.D. Drummond, PhD, PEng, stated in his 1991 report for New Canamin Resources Ltd.: "Mineral inventory for the Poplar deposit, based on the presence of 0.3 per cent total Cu material extending to depth and expanding laterally beneath the domical-shaped zone of Block B, could be in excess of 400 million tons of similar grade to a depth of 600 metres. This mineral inventory does not include the areas of mineral potential for additional near surface mineralization outside of the presently drill-defined zones. ... The mineral potential of the Poplar deposit could be in excess of 400 million tonnes and is still open as the continuation of copper mineralization to the west, north and south has never been drill tested."

On review of the data from Utah Mines, Place Dome and New Canamin Resources, Ben Ainsworth, PEng, and vice-president of exploration for Aumega and Aumega`s qualified person, has determined that the conclusions reached by Dr. Drummond in his 1991 report are valid and supportable of a mineral potential ranging from 200 to 400 million tonnes.

The potential quantity and grade thus stated is conceptual in nature and there has been insufficient exploration to completely define the mineral resource on the property. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in discovery of any further mineral resource on the property

Aumega: 200 bis 400 Mio. Tonnen werden unterstützt - Bohrprogramm erweitert

Vancouver, B.C. (ots) - Aumega Discoveries Ltd. (WKN A0F460; ISIN
CA0515071011) freut sich, die Fortsetzung der nächsten Arbeitsphase
auf seinem Poplarprojekt, 75 km südlich von Houston und 35 km
nördlich der produzierenden Huckleberry-Mine, bekannt geben zu
können. Die Firma erwartet weitere Linienschnitte im Zuge einer
IP-Erfassung an der Nordwestzone der Hauptzone durchzuführen. Weitere
Bohrungen sind für "China Creek", der Hauptzone und dem Folgeziel des
neuen IP-Gitters, geplant.

Die Bohrungen in der "China Creek" - Zone werden geophysikalische
Ziele erforschen, folgend den Oberflächenvektoren in der
Mineralisierung, die in Auszugsresultaten des letzten Bohrprogramms
identifiziert wurden. Anomale Kupfer- und Molybdänwerte wurden in den
Kernproben der Aureolenfelsen rund um die "China Creek"-Lagerstätte
gefunden.

Mit den Bohrungen in der Hauptzone wird Aumega nach Tonnagen mit
hochwertigeren Kupfergehalten forschen, mit dem Fokus, in den
hochwertigeren, nahe der Oberfläche liegenden identifizierten Zonen
zu bleiben, die in den folgenden Bohrergebnissen beschrieben werden:

Bohrloch PC 65 mit einer Schneidung über 53.6m mit einem
Kupfergehalt 0.56%. Bohrloch PC24 mit einer Schneidung von 59m mit
einem Kupfergehalt von 0,66%, Bohrloch PC61 mit einer Schneidung von
27m mit einem Kupfergehalt von 1,06%, Bohrloch PC61 mit einer
Schneidung von 30m mit einem Kupfergehalt von 0,75% und Bohrloch PC02
mit einer Schneidung von 36m mit einen Kupfergehalt von 0,48%.

Frühere Arbeiten von Utah Mines (jetzt BHP Billiton) und anderen
indizieren eine beträchtliche Kupferressource, welche noch nicht
re-kalkuliert wurde, um sie in Einklang mit den NI 43-101 -
Bestimmungen zu bringen. Diese historische Ressource würde davon
profitieren, eine geringere Tonnage (20 - 30 Millionen Tonnen) mit
einem höheren Kupfergehalt (0,5% - 0,8%) zu haben, um ein früheres
"Payback" der Kapitalkosten zu erlauben.

Dr. A. D Drummond Ph.D., P.Eng., gab in seinem 1991 verfassten
Report für New Canamin Resources Ltd. an:

"Der Mineralsbestand für die Poplarlagerstätte, basierend auf
einem Vorhandensein von 0,3% Kupfer, ausgebaut in die Tiefe und
seitlich wachsend unter der dommäßig geformten Zone von Block B,
könnte, mit ähnlichen Güteklassen in einer Tiefe von 600m, 400
Millionen Tonnen übersteigen. Dieser Mineralbestand beinhaltet aber
nicht die Mineralpotentialgebiete für zusätzlich nahe der Oberfläche
liegenden, aber außerhalb der gegenwärtigen durch Bohrungen
definierten Zonen. Das Mineralisierungspotential könnte 400 Millionen
Tonnen übersteigen und ist offen in der Erweiterung nach Westen,
Norden und Süden, wo bisher keine durch Testbohrungen durchgeführt
wurden."

Nach einer Bewertung der Daten von Utah Mines, Placer Dome und New
Canamin Resources ermittelte B. Ainsworth, P.Eng., und Vizepräsident
für Exploration von Aumega und Aumega´s "Qualifizierte Person" (NI
43-101), dass die Schlussfolgerungen von Dr. Drummond in seinem
Bericht von 1991 gültig sind und ein Mineralisierungspotential
zwischen 200 und 400 Millionen Tonnen unterstützen.

Die Potentialquantität und -qualität ist in seiner Weise von
konzeptioneller Natur, da bislang zu wenig Exploration stattfand, um
die Mineralressource der Lagerstätte komplett definieren zu können.

Die Borhungen in der Hauptzone beziehen sich auf die bereits identifizierten Gebiete mit hoher Konzentration an Kuper. Es geht um 20 - 30 Mio. Tonnen mit einem Kupfergehalt von 0,5% bis 0,8%, welche eine schnelle Amortisierung der Investitionen für den Abbau ermöglichen.

Nach Eisen und Aluminium sei Kupfer das industriell am häufigsten verwendete Metall, berichten die Experten von "AktienEinblick.de".

Der Kupferpreis sei in den letzten Jahren massiv gestiegen, da die Nachfrage nach diesem Metall durch den wirtschaftlichen Boom in China und Indien massiv zugenommen habe. Zur Zeit würden rund 20% des weltweit geförderten Kupfers in China benötigt. Die Lagerbestände würden kontinuierlich abnehmen. Die Kupferproduzenten wollten die Produktion weiter erhöhen, um der wachsenden Nachfrage gerecht zu werden.

Die Erschließung neuer Minen brauche allerdings Zeit, so dass kurzfristig das Angebot nur leicht erhöht werden könne. Kurzfristig könne der Kupferpreis noch weiter zulegen. Der weitere Verlauf des Kupferpreises hänge vor allem von der weiteren wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung Chinas ab, käme es hier zu einer Verlangsamung beim Wirtschaftswachstum, könnte der Kupferpreis drastisch einbrechen.

Aumega Discoveries Ltd. has completed a seven-day sampling program on its Star copper-platinum property. The Star property is located in north-central British Columbia beside the road to the North Gate Kemess copper mine and consists of 15 claims (244 units) covering 6,950 hectares (17,174 acres).

Previous sampling by the property vendor identified a strong correlation between copper grades and platinum group metals. These samples returned grades of up to one gram per tonne platinum, over 1 per cent copper and over 0.2 per cent nickel.

Over 60 samples were taken during the seven-day program; all samples have been sent to Acme Analytical Laboratories with results pending.

To date, more then 40 kilometres of favourable lithology has been outlined, including 10 areas of significant values of copper-platinum-palladium, with minor nickel and gold. These zones, include the Ridge, Queen, GL, Haslinger A, B and C, Taurus, 661, the Cauldron, the Jewel Box and the Grid areas.

Aumega Commences phase one on Hudson Bay Mountain Molybdenum Project

Vancouver, B.C. Canada, October 6, 2005 – Aumega Discoveries Ltd. (TSX.V: AUM) is pleased to announce that it has commenced Phase One exploration program on its 100% owned Hudson Bay Mountain Project located near Smithers, British Columbia.

The Property is 12,278 hectares and is located adjacent to Blue Pearl’s (BLE – TSX.v) Davidson Molybdenum Project about 10 km away from the town of Smithers, BC. Based on a technical report compliant with National Instrument 43-101 and filed on SEDAR, and using a cut-off grade of 0.2% MoS2, the Davidson project is estimated to contain a measured and indicated mineral resource of 83.0 million tons grading 0.295% MoS2 representing 293.5 million pounds of molybdenum.

Aumega has hired Ranex Exploration to commence line cutting of a 25 km grid located on the north ridge of Hudson Bay Mountain immediately adjacent to the north side of the Davidson Deposit. This grid and subsequent IP (Induced Polarization) will be used to better focus targets for an upcoming planned drill program to commence early 2006.

Was ist eigentlich "Molybdän"?

Molybdän ist ein Übergangsmetall der 5. Periode. Das hochfeste, zähe und harte Metall besitzt einen silbrig weißen Glanz. Von allen Elementen der 5. Periode besitzt es den höchsten Schmelzpunkt. Von reduzierenden Säuren (auch Flusssäure) wird es ebenso wie der größere Bruder Wolfram nicht angegriffen.

Molybdän wird auch zur Herstellung von Flugzeug- und Raketenteilen (Hitzeschild) verwandt. In der Ölverarbeitung wird es als Katalysator zur Schwefelentfernung eingesetzt. Molybdändisulfid ist aufgrund seiner Schichtstruktur ein ideales Schmiermittel, auch bei erhöhten Temperaturen. Es kann als Feststoff,

wie Graphit, aber auch suspendiert in herkömmlichen Schmierölen verwandt werden. Auch in elektronischen Bauteilen ist Molybdän zu finden. In TFT`s (Dünnschichttransistoren) dient es als leitende Metallschicht.

Das Produktprogramm umfaßt sowohl Molybdän Halbzeuge und Bauteile als auch Molybdän Pulverchemikalien und -Verbindungen.

In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es bereits produzierende Minen an denen Größen wie Imperial Metals Corporation, Furukawa Coporation und Mitsubishi Materials Corporation beteiligt sind!
Es handelt sich also um alles andere als um unerforschtes Gebiet. die Infrastucktur ist vorhanden und Kanada wohl eines der politisch sichersten und unternehmerfreundlichsten Länder überhaupt.

Das Poplar-Project wurde überdies bereits schon früher von BHP-Billiton untersucht und es wurden hohe Rohstoffvorkommen entdeckt wobei man nur einen teil des Poplar untersucht hat, so dass wir heute sogar mit wesentlich mehr rechnen können

Aumega returns High Grade sample of >1% Copper & 3g/t Gold

Vancouver, B.C. Canada, November 22, 2005 -- Aumega Discoveries Ltd. (TSX.V: AUM) is pleased to announce that it has received assay results form its fall sampling program on the Poplar Project. IP surveys in 2004 and infill surveys in 2005 identified and confirmed a chargeability high to the East of the China Creek Zone. Samples PTJ-05-104 and PTJ-05-107 taken from mineralized volcanics in contact with an intrusive dyke from this zone returned grades of 0.48% Cu, 13g/t Ag, .08g/t Au and >1% Cu, 25g/t Ag, 3.41g/t Au respectively. Digital images of this new zone are now available on the Company`s web site. This IP anomaly remains open to the east and has never been drill tested.

The Company also announces that the fall drill program on the Poplar is continuing with the drill rig in place and ready to commence hole 76 which is the sixth hole in the current fall program. The first two holes have been shipped to ACME Labs with results expected within the next fourteen days.

The Poplar porphyry copper-molybdenum property, consisting of 62 claim units and/or fractions is located on the north side of Poplar Lake about 75 kilometers south of Houston, B.C. The Property is owned by the estate of Frank Onucki of Vancouver and partners Mike Callaghan and Clyde Critchlow.

The Poplar property was originally staked in 1971 by the late Frank Onucki and partners for El Paso Mining and Milling Company, who carried out soil geochemical surveys, geological mapping and bulldozer trenching in 1971 and 1972. Porphyry style mineralization was not found until after El Paso abandoned the option in 1972. The Poplar property was then optioned from the vendors in 1974 by Utah Mines Ltd, and development work carried out included geological mapping, soil geochemical surveys, geophysical surveys, (magnetometer and IP). Up to 1982, Utah completed a total of 58,730 feet (17,900 m) of diamond drilling in 73 drill holes. A full-scale positive feasibility study was completed by Utah in 1980, followed by other studies to 1982, but as metal prices were dropping, and they were facing a major final payment, and Island Copper was already in production, they chose to return the property to the vendors.

In 1991 New Canamin Resources Ltd. acquired the Poplar property, and completed an additional 13 short diamond drill holes totalling 1,300 meters. Total expenditures on the property by Utah, Canamin and others is in excess of 2 million dollars. In terms of Yr 2001 dollars the work done would now cost in excess of $2.5 million. The producing Huckleberry copper-molybdenum mine is about 40 kilometers south of the Poplar property.

Hathor Exploration Limited ("Hathor") signed a letter of intent for an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Poplar copper molybdenum porphyry project. The property consists of 62 claims located 75 km south of Houston, west central British Columbia. The option can be exercised by making cash payment totalling CAN$140,000, issuing 200,000 common shares and completing instalments totalling $275,000 in exploration expenditure over four years. The vendors will retain a 2% NSR interest in the claims, all subject to regulatory approval.

Aumega Discoveries Ltd. ("Aumega") then arranged a joint venture with Hathor for the Property. Aumega is a junior mining exploration company (previously First Echelon Ventures Inc.) listed on the Venture board of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSXV). On November 19, 2003, the Company received shareholder approval for a share consolidation of up to one new share for every four old shares. The company`s issued and outstanding share capital as of September 30, 2003 was 1,870,860 shares.

The Poplar porphyry deposit lies within the strongly mineralized Intermontane Belt east of the coast Crystalline belt which is underlain principally by Mesozoic volcanic and sedimentary rocks. These rocks are cut by numerous porphyritic intrusives of Jurassic, Cretaceous and early Tertiary age, which host several significant porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposits, such as Huckleberry, Whiting Creek, Berg, Ox Lake and others.

The Poplar copper-molybdenum deposit is centred on a differentiated calc-alkaline stock of Late Cretaceous age intruded into volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Hazelton Group of Jurassic age. There are several stocks of differing composition outcropping within the claim block, all of the earlier drilling was carried out in the Poplar stock, in the Canyon Creek area, although the other stocks, such as the China Creek stock also have potential for porphyry mineralization. All the significant hydrothermal alteration and sulfide mineralization discovered to date is restricted to the Poplar stock and to the China Creek stock and their thermal aureoles. The Poplar stock is a classically altered porphyry with potassic alteration of the core grading outward through phyllic alteration to argillic and propylitic alteration.

Various resource tonnage and grade estimates have been made by major exploration companies. The most commonly quoted estimate (Drummond, 1991) is 116,000,000 tonnes grading 0.32% copper, 0.1 g/t gold, and 0.009% Mo. (at 0.20% copper cut-off grade). This resource, although prepared prior to the implementation of National Instrument 43-101, is a reliable estimate comparable to an indicated mineral resource in accordance with Canadian Institute of Mining definitions. Appreciable rhenium values are contained in the molybdenite.

Within the above resource, the additional 1991 drilling permitted estimation of a smaller but higher grade near-surface mineral resource of about 40 million tonnes of 0.40% copper (Drummond, 1991). This nearsurface indicated mineral resource could likely be expanded with further in-fill drilling.

The following favourable drill intercepts illustrate that higher grade intercepts occur:

DDH PC 65 had 53.6 m x 0.56% copper,
DDH PC 24 had 59 m x 0.66% Cu,
DDH PC 61 had 27 m x 1.06% Cu and 30 m x 0.75% Cu,
DDH PC 02 had 36 m x 0.48% Cu.

Potential exists for several hundred million tons of mineralization in the combined Main and East zones. Many of the deep drill holes have best grades at depth and stop in mineralization with good copper grades. The deepest hole DDH PC 35 stops in mineralization at 609 meters (nearly 2000 feet).

Consulting geologists involved in the 1991 drill program, feel that there is potential at China Creek for a new porphyry Cu-Mo zone, comparable with that at the Huckleberry East zone, which could be hosted in the andesite wall-rock of the China Creek porphyry body. The three drillholes completed to date on this zone do not adequately test the area and do not explain the copper anomalies in soil in the area. This target is one of the areas to be tested in Future exploration, particularly by Induced Polarization ("IP") surveys.

Work recommended for the property for the initial phases I and II includes data compilation, reconnaissance Induced Polarization surveys (IP) over selected targets, primarily the China Creek porphyry zone, and diamond drilling to follow up any IP anomalies.

Suggested work to be done is:

Relocate all drill holes & claim posts, surveying with GPS instrument and repaint numbers on collars
Cut and mark a new grid using E-W baseline, North/South lines, 100 meter spacing
Complete an IP survey using this grid over all the porphyry centers, particularly the China Creek porphyry zone which, because of overburden and vegetative cover, is less well defined.

A work program totalling $85,750.00 in Phase I and $437,500.00 in Phase II has been recommended

Diese Felsen werden durch zahlreichen porphyritic intrusives Jurassic, Tertiären frühen und Kreidealters geschnitten, welche mehrere bedeutende Porphyr-Kupfergoldmolybdän-Ablagerungen, wie Heidelbeere, Schuhweiß-Bach, Eisberg, Ochse-See und andere zu Gast haben. Die Pappel-Kupfermolybdän-Ablagerung wird auf ein unterschiedenes calc-alkalisches Lager der Späten Kreidezeit, der in vulkanische und Sedimentgesteine der Hazelton Gruppe des Jurassic Alters hineingebracht ist, in den Mittelpunkt gestellt. Verschiedene Quellentonnage und Rang-Schätzungen sind durch Haupterforschungsgesellschaften gemacht worden. Die meistens zitierte Schätzung (Drummond, 1991) ist 116,000,000 Tonnen, die Kupfer von 0.32 %, 0.1 g/t Gold, und 0.009 % Mo sortieren. (an Kupferabkürzungsrang von 0.20 %). Diese Quelle, obwohl bereit, vor der Erfüllung des Nationalen Instrumentes 43-101, ist eine zuverlässige Schätzung vergleichbar mit einer angezeigten Mineralquelle in Übereinstimmung mit dem kanadischen Institut für Bergwerksdefinitionen. from hole 83 (DDH#05-83) which is the Second of eight holes from its
fall drill program on its Poplar Project located 35 km from the
Huckleberry mine and 75 km south of Houston BC.

For DDH#05-83 the weighted average over 191.78 meters is 0.44 % copper,
0.12 gm/t gold, including a nearer surface intersect of 21.34 meters
from 66.14 m - 87.48 m (approx 70 feet) of 0.66 % copper and 0.20 g/t
gold. The gold values continue to show a positive correlation with the
copper values and are higher than was expected based on the earlier
work of BHP-Utah in the 70`s.

These values compliment and compare well with the adjacent Utah drill
holes in this Main Zone mineralization. With gold now selling at more
then $500/ounce ($16/gram) and copper at more the $2/lbs the Company is
very encouraged with these results and is still waiting for assay
results on the additional six holes.

es ist wieder einmal so, wie wir es prognostiziert haben, und das freut uns! AUMEGA DISCOVERIES (A0F460) glänzte gestern Abend NACHBÖRSLICH mit einer neuen Meldung. Aus dieser Meldung wird deutlich, dass es sich lohnt, das Bohrprogramm auf dem Poplargebiet in British Columbia, das Flaggschiffprojekt des Unternehmens, auszuweiten, um die ohnehin schon vorhandenen gigantischen Kupfer-Molybdän-Ressourcen auszuweiten.

Schon vor Börsenschluss konnte der Kurs gestern Abend noch unter bewegenden Umsätzen rund 20% zulegen und schloss auf 0,57 CAD. Hallo,

bin auch bereits vor einigen Monaten hier eingestiegen.
Klar ist der Start etwas wackelig für Fortress, was
solche Reverse Splits ja oftmals an sich haben, da manche
einfach nicht checken, was da passiert und andere diese Verunsicherung versuchen mit niederigen Kursen auszunutzen.

Anbei ein paar aus meiner Sicht sehr interessante Beiträge
der letzten Wochen aus dem Aumega-Thread. Schaut Euch vor
allem mal das letzte Posting an. Persönlich sehe ich
Fortress in den nächsten 2 Jahren auf eine MK von 100 Mio USD
anwachsen, von mir aus können dann auch 30 Mio per PP erfolgen,
ivch erwarte, daß dieses Unternehmen einer der größten Coups von Damien Reynolds wird.

Wie groß die Chance bei Aumega ist, sieht man auch daran, daß alleine der künftige Jahresgewinn aus der Kupfermine viel höher sein wird als heute die ganze Firma, also KGV von vielleicht 0,2.

Es ist mir wirklich ein Rätsel, wie jemand Aumega für unter 20 Cent wegwerfen kann.

Da müssen offensichtlich Zocker da sein, die mit der Pleite kämpfen.

Schaut Euch mal das TV-Interview mit Wasilenkoff auf der Fortress-Homepage an: www.thefortressgroup.ca. Auch wenn er über Titan Uranium oder die Papiermühlen in Europa spricht, sagt er doch auch was über die Strategie von Fortress: Nicht nur Minderheitenanteile der jeweiligen Firma kaufen, sondern ganz übernehmen, die Finanzierung (Funding) auf die Beine stellen, dann ein perfektes Management und operatives Geschäft aufziehen, schließlich public, also börsennotiert, machen und Geld einstreichen. Wir befinden uns bei Aumega/Fortress Base noch im ersten Drittel, wobei die Firma ja bereits eine AG ist. Wir wissen aber inzwischen, daß die Firma de facto zur Hälfte im Privatbesitz der Vorstände ist. Bis zum September dieses Jahres ist der "Coup" über die Bühne gebracht worden: Übernahme von AUM, Rausschmiß der alten Crew, Kauf der Hälfte der Aktien. Nach dem Rollback und der Umbenennung wird Pahse II einsetzen, das Funding. Dabei ist mit Longview ja schon ein erfolgversprechender Investor an Bord. Wir können also als nächstes, das ist meine Meinung (wie überhaupt alle Schlüsse, die ich aus den Fakten ziehe), mit Funding-News rechnen. Darüber hinaus rechne ich mit der Einbringung weiterer Firmen in Fortress Base Metals. Wie wir heute oder in einer Woche stehen, interessiert mich nicht. Gottvertrauen ist nicht nötig, man muß nur ein bißchen rechnen können:

Alleine auf Poplar werden (zusammen mit den Erweiterungszonen)
400 Mio. Tonnen kupferhaltiges Gestein geschätzt x Kupfergehalt von vorsichtig geschätzt nur 0,37 % (Minimum lt. Machbarkeitsstudie)
= 1,48 Mio. Tonnen Kupfer x 6876 Dollar je Tonne
= 10,18 Mrd. Dollar : 18 Mio. Aktien = 565,55 Dollar je Aktie.

Bei 10.000 Aktien sind es 5,65 Mio. Dollar : 1,28 Dollarkurs
= 4,42 Mio. Euronen !!!

Für läppische 10.000 Aktien für noch nicht mal 2000 Euro
bekommt man ein riesiges Kupfervermögen von über 4 Millionen Euro !!!

Alleine auf Poplar !

Nicht berücksichtigt ist hier das sehr aussichtsreiche Gebiet, was an die "sagenhafte" Firma Blue Pearl Mining grenzt sowie weitere Gebiete und Gebiete, die in der Zukunft wohl noch hinzukommen.

Da muß ich wohl nicht auf Gott vertrauen.

Wer das nochmal nachrechnet, wird mir zustimmen, daß eine 1000 %
Chance sehr, sehr vorsichtig geschätzt ist.

-Rohstoffe im Millardenwert im Boden (Kupfer, Molybdän), die weder durch externe Finanzierungen noch durch den Börsenkurs annähernd widergespiegelt werden
-Liegenschaften um das Davidson Projekt von Blue Pearl (Marktkap. von 362 Mio $) mit großen Molybdän-Resourcen; die (BLE) kaufen auch hinzu, wie die Akquise von Thompson zeigte
-Marktkap. von unter 4 Mio $!!!

Ich wollt euch mal meine Gedanken zu der Aktie mitteilen und wäre froh eure Überlegungen zu diesen Themen lesen zu können.

Einen Explorer per 5 Aktien zu 1 Umtauschaktion optisch zu verteuern, macht in meinen Augen nur wenig Sinn. Ich rechne also damit, dass sich beim Dasein als Explorer bald etwas ändern wird. Die Frage ist nur was und wie sie gedenken das zu bewerkstelligen.

Das Management besitzt 43% der Aktien, das ist positiv zu sehen. Vor allem weil der Aktienkurs einen relativ stabilen (wenn auch tiefen) Boden ausgebildet hat. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das Management weis was es tut und sein Geld nicht zum Fenster hinaus schmeißt. Der gefundene Boden deutet für mich darauf hin, dass wenige Aktionäre bereit sind zu diesen Kursen zu verkaufen.
(Was jetzt aber nicht heißt, dass keiner mehr schmeißt!!!)

Die letzte Unternehmensmeldung bezüglich der Liegenschaften ist vom Februar letzten Jahres. Ich gehe davon aus, dass wir in dieser Richtung bald etwas hören werden. Der jetzige Kurs basiert auf einer Meldung die fast ein Jahr alt ist. Dies ist alles andere als ein Grund um einzusteigen, allenfalls zu halten.
Bezüglich dieses Zustandes habe ich letzt Woche die IR angemailt, warte aber noch auf eine Antwort.

Ergo halte ich Fortress aus einer klaren Erwartungshaltung begründet auf Phantasie und nicht aufgrund von Fundamentals. Dies ist auch der Grund wieso ich meine Position nicht wie angedeutet erhöht habe. Es sei denn, die IR meldet sich und ich bekomme klare Antworten.

...und zum Schluss noch ein wenig "Aufklärungsarbeit", die an alle "Börsen-Neulinge" und "Fortress-Neulinge" gerichtet ist:

Fairerweise muss noch das Folgende gesagt werden: Fortress Base Metals ist ein sog. "Junior-Explorer". Das Traden mit Junior-Explorern ist äußerst Riskant, weil diese starken Schwankungen etc. unterliegen.
Meine Empfehlung daher an alle Börsen-Neulinge: Sammelt erst mit "sicheren" Aktien Eure Erfahrungen, bevor Ihr Euch in Junior-Explorern investiert.
Des weiteren empfehle ich "Fortress-Neulingen" zunächst den Trouble um den Aktiensplitt und der damit verbundenen "Kurs-Preis-Unsicherheit" abzuwarten ( = der Kurs muss sich erst "einpendeln"), bevor Ihr in diesen Wert einsteigt ( = nicht das am Ende ein anderer sich an Euch eine goldene Nase verdient! ).

Wiederum Longview Capital seit dem 4. Dezember 2006 mit 1,91 Mio. Aktien auch an Fortress Base Metals ( ebenso Kupfermiene! ) beteiligt ist.

FORTRESS BASE METALS CORP. ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Fortress Base Metals Corp. intends to carry out a non-brokered private placement consisting of five million units at a price of 51 cents each, for gross proceeds of up to $2.55-million. Each unit comprises one common share in the capital of the company and one transferable share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one common share for 63 cents at any time within 24 months after the date the warrants are issued.

Directors, officers and insiders intend on participating in excess of 25 per cent of the private placement.

Proceeds from the financing will be used to advance the company's mineral properties, hire additional personnel and as general working capital.

The offering is subject to the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.

In einigen Threats wurden astronomische Rechnungen eines potentiellen Wertes pro Aktie aufgemacht. Hast Du die einmal detailliert nachvollzogen?

Ich bin auch gerne bereit, hier Arbeit zu investieren. Möchte aber erst einmal ein besseres Gefühl bekommen.

Nach meiner Rechnung wurden in 4 u. 5 genau 115.934 Aktien verkauft, so daß LV jetzt noch exakt 650.000 Stücke hält, was 17,6 % entspricht. Die runde Zahl deutet drauf hin, daß exakt so viele Stücke verkauft werden sollten. Die Frage ist nun, wie viele Stücke DR im Zuge des PP kaufen wird. Zukünftig wird die Zahl der Aktien also 8.693.085 betragen. Um bei 17,6% zu landen, müßte DR ca 1.530.000 Stücke kaufen. Allerdings gibt es noch die Warrants, potentiell noch mal 5 Mio. Also hier mal eine Spekulation von mir: Wer im Vorfeld einer PP seinen Bestand so glatt macht, der will ihn auch glatt auffüllen: Entweder kauft DR demnächst also 350.000 oder 1.350.000 Stücke.

FORTRESS BASE METALS CORP ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Fortress Base Metals Corp. has completed the previously announced non-brokered private placement. The private placement consisted of the sale of 4,398,874 units priced at 58 cents per unit, for gross proceeds of $2,551,346.94. Each unit comprises one common share in the capital of the company and one transferable share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one common share for 72 cents at any time within 24 months after the date the warrants are issued.

All securities issued under this private placement are subject to a four-month hold period, which expires on Oct. 26, 2007.

No finders' fees were paid in conjunction with this offering.

Proceeds from the financing will be used to advance the company's mineral properties, hire additional personnel and for general working capital.

This offering received conditional acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange on June 20, 2007.

Upon closing, the company will have 8,474,900 common shares issued and outstanding.

In other news, Fortress Base Metals has granted stock options to purchase up to 491,000 common shares to the directors and officers of the company. Each option is exercisable to acquire one common share of Fortress Base Metals at a price of 80 cents until June 26, 2011. The options will be fully vested in accordance with the company's stock option plan.

FORTRESS BASE METALS CORP. ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT PRICING CHANGE & APPOINTMENT OF CEO

Fortress Base Metals Corp. is changing the terms of its previously announced private placement. At the suggestion of the TSX Venture Exchange, the non-brokered private placement consisting of five million units will be priced at 58 cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $2.9-million. Each unit comprises one common share in the capital of the company and one transferable share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one common share for 72 cents at any time within 24 months after the date the warrants are issued.

Directors, officers and insiders intend on participating in excess of 25 per cent of the private placement.

Proceeds from the financing will be used to advance the company's mineral properties, hire additional personnel and as general working capital.

The offering is subject to the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Fortress Base Metals has appointed Damien Reynolds as chief executive officer. Mr. Reynolds has been involved in the junior resource sector for over 20 years. He has gained industry knowledge through founding, investing in and serving on the boards of a number of public exploration companies. Mr. Reynolds has an impressive record with projects of merit around the world, and also for his ability to raise capital for junior companies.

FORTRESS BASE METALS CORP ANNOUNCES FINAL KELLY CREEK PROPERTY PAYMENT & APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENT

Fortress Base Metals Corp. has completed the final payment required to exercise its option to acquire an undivided 100-per-cent interest in eight mineral claims, known as the Kelly Creek property, situated in the Omineca mining division of British Columbia. Under the terms of the option agreement, the company issued the final 40,000 common shares on July 26, 2007. The optionor retains a 2-per-cent net smelter royalty, which the company can reduce to 1 per cent by payment of $1-million.

Fortress Base Metals further announces that Damien Reynolds has been appointed as president of the company. Mr. Reynolds has been involved in the junior resource sector for over 20 years. He has gained industry knowledge through founding, investing in and serving on the boards of a number of public exploration companies.
