Der Nickel Explorer bietet meiner Meinung nach derzeit eine gute Trading-Chance. Idealerweise dreht der Kurs an seinem Widerstand bis zum oberen Bereich des Trendkanals nach Norden. Somit ergibt sich ein sattes kurzfristiges Kursziel und eine gute Trading-Chance. Der MACD hat gut Luft geholt. Die nächsten Handelsstunden werden interessant werden. Sollen wir heute grüne Kurse sehen, werd ich nachkaufen.

Die institutionellen Anleger sind zu 0,616 Euro rein. Gerade die werden kein blindes Investment tätigen, sondern sich sehr genau bei der Gesellschaft vor Ort informieren.

Ich wollte meine zweite Position erst deutlich über 0,70 aufbauen, bin aber gestern doch noch mal rein. Wie es heißt, investierten die Istis kürzlich erst zu 0,616 Euro und gerade Anleger diesen Schlages sind über mögliche News und den wahren Wert der Gesellschaft i. d. R. sehr gut infomiert. Der hohe Cash-bestand hat mir auch gut gefallen und Übernahmegerüchte sind sicherlich sehr gut.

Letztendlich bewogen hat mich dann doch aber die Tatsache, dass wir uns im Bereich massiver Unterstützungen befinden und ich daher das Verlustrisiko als sehr gering betrachte. Daher hab ich gestern nochmal Nachschlag genommmen.

Nickel steigt auch imer weiter, 47850$ pro tonne. Gestern 1,92% im Plus.

Danke für die Info! Ich hab heute nochmal massiv Spur Venture nachgelegt. Der Düngemittelhersteller hat sich jetzt noch besser positioniert und ist im per group vergleich total unterbewertet. Castillian macht auch sehr viel Spaß. So soll Börse sein'!

Der Aufwaertstrend ist intakt, auch wenn ich mir gruene Kurse erhofft haette.

Genau wie bei meinem Playfair Ausbruchstrade kann man das Timing nie zu 100% richtig machen. Grundsätzlich liegt man aber mit hoher Trefferquote im Ziel. Ich bin mir sicher, dass bei Playfair die allermeisten Trader nasse Hosen bekomen haben und ihre Papiere verschenkt haben. Die riesen Vola hat alle rausgeschüttelt. Jetzt sind denen, wegen zwei Tagen nennenswerte Gewinne entgangen. Mein nächster Ausbruchstrade wird Spur Ventures. Dazu später mehr.

Um es kurz zu machen. Laßt euch nicht rausschütteln. Der Chart ist allererste Sahne und das shortterm Kursziel verspricht eine tolle Perfomance. Die Instis sind zu deutlich höheren Kursen rein und DIE WISSEN was in Castillian steckt. Die informieren sich an erster Stelle in der Gesellschaft selbst, beim CEO. Fazit: Castillian wird abrocken. Kauf und liegen lassen. Der Kurs findet seinen Weg ganz alleine.

Mächtig zufriedenstellende Kursentwicklung, was? Naja, wir wußten es ja schon vorher. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das noch nichtmal der Anfang war. 1 Dollar sind kurzfristig drinnen, sagen wir in 2-3 Wochen sollten wir das Kursniveau erreicht haben, sollte nicht fundamentalen News dazukommen und dem Kurs Feuer geben....

Sicherheit geben auch folgende Umstände, 23 Mio. Cash, Underlaying Nickel, kostbarer und begehrtes Metall, Top Deposits. Desweiteren soll es lt. dieser Analyse auch Übernahmegerüchte geben, aber dass ist nichts beweisbares. Sicher ist der Cashbestand und die kostenbaren Nickel-Deposits.

So, ich bin heute den ganzen Tag nicht da, schau aber mal mit dem Handy (PDA) im Thread vorbei. Schönen Tag und grüne Kurse!

Meine Rohstoff Watchlist ist fast durchgehend rot. Nru ganz wenige Titel, die sich ins knappe Plus retten.

75% sind im Minus, 24% minimal im Plus, eher plus minus null, nein heute ist kein Rohstoff Tag. 0,75 wäre für Castillian im Close ok.

Was wir gestern gesehen haben, war ein kräftiger Rohstoff Sell Off. Gut zu wissen, dass im Depot Castillian schlummert.

Der Underlaying steht bei 48370 $ pro Tonne. Knappe Weltlagerbestände tun ihr Übriges um den Titel von Haus aus interessant zu halten.

Die Reserven an nach heutigen Gesichtspunkten abbauwürdigen Nickelvorkommen liegen zwischen 70 und 170 Millionen Tonnen. Gegenwärtig werden weltweit jährlich zwischen 500.000 und 900.000 Tonnen gefördert. Nickel ist in bedeutendes Legierungsmetall, das zur Stahlveredelung verwendet wird. Bekannte Nickellegierungen sind Neusilber (10-26% Nickelanteil), Konstantan (40- 60%), Nickelin (ca. 31%) und Monel (40-65%). Durch Vernickelung werden Metalloberflächen korrosionsbeständig. Es wird in Batterien und Akkus (Nickel-Cadmium) verarbeitet. Außerdem ist es Tiegelmaterial und Bestandteil von Münzen und Katalysatoren.

Fully Diluted hat Castillian 86.1 Mio. Aktien, knappe 40 Mio. Market-Cap. und einen Cashbestand von 23 Mio. $. Welcher Explorer kann sich damit vergleichen?

Mit einer Aktie bekommt man dann fully diluted umgerechnet einen Cashbestand von 0,27 Cent mit und dass bei einem Explorer! Somit sehe ich das Risiko von Castillian als sehr beschränkt an. Das Geld sollte denen nicht so schnell ausgehen. Dass schafft Sicherheit für die Investoren.

Schau mal bitte den Gesamtmarkt an! Fast alle Rohstoff Gesellschaften sind im Minus und einige wenige schaffen es gerade ins Plus. Ich seh fundamental kein Haar in der Suppe und werde Extremkurse zum Nachkaufen nutzen.

Es fällt mir nicht schwer sofort 10 Titel zu nennen, die 5 - 10 % im Minus sind, ebenfalls top Titel wie First Majestic, Rochester Resourse - 6,4%, Solex -10%, Kodiak -5,8 %, New Cantech - 8,6%, CCE -8,1%, ASX - 7,7%, Alberta Star - 7,7% usw.!

8%, noch nicht mal im Tagestief. Wo willst Du ein Minus von 8% erkannt haben? In Frankfurt vielleicht. Heimatbörse und umsatzstärkste Börse ist Kanada. Dort fällt das Minus im Vergleich zu anderen Explorern mit 4,2% sehr moderat aus.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 16, 2007) - David Gower, P. Geo., President & CEO of Castillian Resources Corporation (Castillian) (TSX VENTURE:CT - News) announces that Castillian has intersected 20.1 meters of nickel-copper sulphide mineralization on the Metago Deposit at the Mangabal Project, Brazil. This is the deepest hole for which assays have been received to date and confirms that the Metago Deposit remains open for further expansion down plunge to the southwest.

Hole CRMS-07-13 intersected 20.1 meters grading 1.08% nickel, 0.43% copper, 0.04% cobalt with higher grade sections including 6.0 meters grading 2.02% nickel and 0.64% copper (see table below for details). The vertical depth to the intersection is approximately 75 meters (see attached longitudinal section for location - Figure 1). Hole CRMS-07-16 has been completed and has intersected sulphide mineralization 50 meters further down the plunge from CRMS-07-13, however assays are pending for this hole.

Assays have also been received for drill holes CRMS-07-008 to 011. Drill holes CRMS-07-008 and 010 confirm the continuity of the Metago Zone along the plunge and will be important for calculating the resource when the deposit has been delineated in the coming months. Drill hole CRMS-07-010 intersected 17.4 meters grading 0.62% nickel and 0.31% copper within a 32.5 meter lower grade mineralized interval (see table below for details). Hole CRMS-07-008 which was previously released (see Castillian release dated April 24, 2007) intersected two mineralized zones; 9.45 meters grading 1.17% nickel and 0.28% copper from 51.2-60.65 meters down the hole and 3 meters grading 1.22% nickel and 0.22% copper from 69.0-72.0 meters down the hole.

The drilling to date demonstrates that the Metago Deposit has continuity along its plunge for at least 300 meters and remains open for further expansion. All intersections to date are at shallow levels, above 100 meters in vertical depth.

Drill holes CRMS-07-009 and 011 were drilled below the plunge of the deposit (see attached longitudinal section) and did not intersect significant mineralization and establish the deposit limit in that direction.

The company completed an airborne EM survey using Geotech's VTEM system with B-field (see Castillian release dated April 24, 2007). Castillian mobilized a second drill to the Project, to test the first of a series of high priority VTEM conductors, approximately 800 meters along strike to the northeast from the Metago Deposit (see attached map - Figure 2). The first drill hole intersected 10 meters of disseminated sulphide mineralization (assays pending) from 263 meters to 273 meters core depth (185 meters vertical depth) which is similar in character to the disseminated halo mineralization associated with the Metago deposit. It is too early to predict whether this will develop into a significant mineralized zone however the initial result is encouraging. The conductor associated with this target is approximately 700m in strike length, has elevated nickel in soil geochemistry and a strong associated magnetic anomaly, as such it is a larger target than the Metago Deposit. This intersection suggests potential for nickel-copper sulphide mineralization along a 1.8 kilometer conductive trend extending to the southwest to include the Metago deposit.

Quality Control

The company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0-metre intervals or less. Sample preparation is completed at the ALS-Chemex preparation lab Goiania, Brazil and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada using multi-acid digest/ ICP-AES technique. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 samples. Five percent of pulps are re-analysed at SGS Laboratory Services in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. This is the same QA/QC protocol that was employed by Falconbridge (now Xstrata) in operating the project.

The Quality Control and all aspects of the exploration program is supervised by Castillian Exploration Manager, Joel Hrominchuk, P.Geo., who is a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

Nickel ist das am siebthäufigsten vorkommende Element auf unserem Planeten. Wieder einmal ist es die chinesische Volkswirtschaft, die mehr und mehr Nickel braucht.

In China werden mehr als 65 Prozent der Nickelproduktion für die Stahlindustrie benötigt. Stephen Barnett erläuterte uns, dass die Nickelindustrie im letzten Jahr mit mehr als 2,0 Mio. Tonnen Nickel (inklusive Recycling) ein neues Produktionshoch erreichte. Es seien Milliarden von Dollar in neue Produktionsstätten (hauptsächlich in Australien, Brasilien und Kanada) investiert worden, die in den nächsten Jahren in Produktion gehen würden.

Auf unsere Frage, ob der hohe Preis nicht die chinesische Nickel-Nachfrage dämpfe, fing er an zu schmunzeln. Wie in jedem anderen Markt gebe es eine Angebots-Nachfrage-Balance, meinte er. Der Preis werde solange steigen, bis diese Balance erreicht sei. Darüber mache er sich keine Sorgen. Chinas Industrialisierung sei die treibende Kraft der Nickel-Nachfrage.

Nickel spiele bei Flugmotoren, Kernkraftwerken und Emissionskontrollinstrumenten eine bedeutende Rolle - hier werde also viel Nickel verbraucht. Nicht zu unterschätzen wäre auch die Nachfrage im Hochbau, in der chemischen oder der pharmazeutischen Industrie. Nicht vergessen solle man, dass Nickel zukünftig verstärkt bei der Wasseraufbereitung und für den Bau (sauberer) Kernkraftwerke eingesetzt werden dürfte. Auch der Autohunger der chinesischen Bevölkerung ist Wasser auf die Mühlen des Nickelpreises - Stichwort: Nickel-Wasserstoff-Batterien in Kraftfahrzeugen! Das sollte die Nachfrage weiter anheizen!

Wann platzt bei Castillian die Bombe?
Unsere Geologen sind gerade von einer dreiwöchigen Südamerika-Reise zurückgekehrt und haben ein Blockbuster-Investment im Gepäck! Nach ATW Venture Corp. wird das der nächste Volltreffer! Passen Sie genau auf! Wir reden von Castillian Resources (WKN: A0BME0).

Ende November 2006 hat ein neues Management Team unter der Leitung von David Gower das Ruder bei Castillian übernommen. Dieser Top-Mann hat mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung in der Nickelexploration bei Falconbridge (jetzt Xstrata) gesammelt. Er leitete Geologenteams, die beispielsweise wichtige Entdeckungen in Brasilien, Tansania und Mexiko machten.

Und es wird nicht lange gefackelt! Kurz vor Weihnachten wurden 6 Mio. CAD frisches Kapital eingeworben. Am 10. April 2007 sammelte das Nickel-Explorationsunternehmen bei institutionellen Investoren rund 15,1 Mio. CAD zu einem Preis von 0,95 CAD ein. Dies entspricht rund 10 Mio. Euro zu einem Kurs von 0,63 Euro. Hier wird offensichtlich geklotzt und nicht gekleckert! Castillian dürfte damit eine der am besten kapitalisierten Juniorexplorationsgesellschaften sein.

Sollte die Aktie von Castillian Resources ab dem 10. August 2007 für 20 aufeinanderfolgende Handelstage bei mindestens 1,50 CAD notieren, hat die Gesellschaft das Recht die Ausübung der Optionsscheine zu beschleunigen. Dieses Kursniveau würde für unsere Abonnenten eine Verdopplung bedeuten und Castillian schnell weiteres Geld in die Kasse spülen!

Darüber hinaus hat sich der neue CEO mit dem Partner Xstrata darauf verständigt, dass nun Castillian beim Joint Venture im Hinblick auf das brasilianische Hauptprojekt Mangabal das Steuer übernimmt und es jetzt mit einer eigenen hiesigen Tochtergesellschaft aggressiv vorantreibt. Zu diesem Zweck hat man einige Topleute verpflichtet, die die Arbeit vor Ort erledigen. Was bedeutet dieser Schritt, den der Markt nur halb mitbekommen hat?

Einerseits kann man die Suche nach einem großen Nickelvorkommen fortsetzen und andererseits aber auch nach kleineren Vorkommen suchen, die für den Big Player nicht so interessant, aber für ein Juniorexplorationsunternehmen äußerst lukrativ sein können. In diesem Jahr sollen 2,5 Mio. CAD in die Exploration des Gebietes (155.000 Hektar) investiert werden. Die Erfolgsaussichten genau hier auf ein Weltklasse-Nickelvorkommen zu stoßen, sind exzellent!

Das Projekt verfügt zudem über eine exzellente Infrastruktur. Sie werden es nicht glauben, aber es existiert eine Verarbeitungsanlage mit freien Kapazitäten (Americano Mine!) in unmittelbarer Nähe! Unsere Experten schätzen die Situation so ein, dass das Projekt schnell in Produktion gebracht werden könnte! Das ist Musik in unseren Ohren!

Nur zwei Wochen nach dem Abschluss der letzten Finanzierung gab Castillian frische Ergebnisse vom Bohrprogramm beim Nickelprojekt Mangabal bekannt. Und die können sich mehr als sehen lassen! Das erste Bohrloch, welches in der Metago Zone in den Boden getrieben wurde, enthielt 1,17 Prozent Nickel über einen Intervall von 9,45 Meter mit einem Unterintervall von 3,15 Meter mit 1,94 Prozent Nickel - spektakulär! Es wurde bis in eine Tiefe von 72 Metern gebohrt - die Mineralisierung ist also oberflächennah. Sprich hier wäre ein kostengünstiger Tagebau möglich!

Diese neue Bohrung bestätigt die bisherigen Ergebnisse von Falconbridge aus dem Jahre 2005. Insgesamt sind 20 Bohrungen in dieser Phase geplant. Elektromagnetische Untersuchungen deuten darauf hin, dass die mineralisierte Zone länger als 350 Meter ist! Castillian hat ein zweites Bohrgerät auf das Feld geschafft, um die Ziele mit höchster Priorität anzugehen und das Explorationstempo zu verschärfen! Die Resultate von weiteren fünf Bohrlöchern stehen noch aus. Drei Bohrkerne weisen ebenfalls signifikante Mineralisierung auf!

Unsere Geologen sind von Castillians Projektportfolio schwer beeindruckt. Neben der Spitzenliegenschaft in Brasilien ist Castillian noch in Argentinien (Bohrstart Mitte 2007), Bolivien (fortgeschrittenes Goldprojekt) und Tansania aktiv.

Sobald die Regenzeit in Tansania zu Ende ist, wird Castillian die ersten Arbeiten beim Kagera-Projekt starten, welches rund 1.700 Quadratkilometer umfasst und im aufstrebenden Kabanga Nickelgürtel liegt.

Diese Liegenschaften liegen direkt neben und auf demselben Trend, wie die weltweit aussichtsreichste Nickelentdeckung von Xstrata/Barrick beim Kabanga Projekt! Und nun dürfen Sie dreimal raten, wer an diesem fulminanten Fund direkt mitgewirkt hat! Ein Top-Geologe von Castillian! Hier liegt ein wahres Blue Sky Potenzial für Castillian in den nächsten Jahren!

Auch das neue Projekt in Argentinien (50%ige Beteiligung) sieht unseren Geologen zufolge einfach klasse aus! Las Aguilas kann bereits eine historische Ressourcenschätzung von 2,2 Mio. FAZIT

Castillian hat genau wie ATW Venture alles, was eine grandiose Blockbuster-Aktie braucht: Top-Management, Top-Projekte, Top-Aussichten. Finanziell ist das Unternehmen auf Rosen gebettet. Falls Castillian ein wirtschaftlich abbaubares Nickelvorkommen in Brasilien nachweisen und dieses in Richtung Produktion bringen kann, dürfte sich die Aktie verzehnfachen! Hohe Nickelpreise vorausgesetzt.

Gar nicht auszumalen, was mit dem Kurs geschehen könnte, wenn auch bei einem der anderen Projekte ein Volltreffer gelandet wird! Aktuell sehen wir ein sehr gutes Chance/Risiko-Verhältnis bei Castillian Resources (WKN: A0BME0) und nehmen die Aktie mit einem Kursziel von 5,00 Euro in unsere Watchlist auf! Castillian May Earn Up to 65% Interest

SPOKANE, WASHINGTON, May 17, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

MARIFIL MINES LTD. (TSX VENTURE: MFM) ("Marifil") is pleased to announce that it has signed a second agreement with Castillian Resources Corporation (TSX VENTURE: CT), ("Castillian") whereby Castillian may earn up to a 65% interest in Marifil's "San Luis" belt located in the San Luis province of Argentina.

The San Luis property is a 54,573-hectare nickel-copper-PGM ("platinum group metals") property located along a prospective belt of differentiated ultramafic rocks and believed to be highly prospective for PGM's, particularly platinum. The property is wholly-owned by Marifil, except for an underlying royalty on a portion of the property held by BHPBilliton (BHPB). (See Marifil News Release October 6, 2005.) BHBP had spent about US$1.7 million exploring the San Luis project during 2004 and 2005, bringing the total spent on this large target area to more than US$8.0 million.

In 2006, Marifil signed a joint-venture with Maximus Resources, a private company, to develop the Las Aguilas Ni-Cu-Co-Pt mine located near the south end of the ultramafic belt. Maximus subsequently vended its interest to Castillian Resources.

John Hite, Marifil's President said, "We are extremely pleased to be signing our sixth JV-agreement in the two years since we became a public company, a clear reflection of how others view the excellent prospects contained in Marifil's extensive resource portfolio. With this latest arrangement, we and our various partners will be actively exploring on 10 of our properties across Argentina and providing a healthy flow of news updates."

Under the terms of the Castillian agreement and following an exclusive Due Diligence period of up to 30 days, Castillian can earn a 50% interest in the property by spending US$3,000,000 in exploration and development over a four-year period and making certain payments to Marifil totaling US$600,000. Upon earning 50%, Castillian can further elect to increase its ownership to 60% by spending an additional US$2,000,000, providing a bankable feasibility study and making cash payments of US$150,000 per year each year beginning on the fourth anniversary of this date. Subsequent to earning a 60% interest, Castillian can increase its interest by a further 5% by arranging for the total amount of financing to bring the project to commercial production, such financing will be an obligation of the joint venture and will be subject to the parties agreeing to the terms of the financing, including all payback provisions, and by making cash payments of US$150,000 per year to Marifil for each year following Castillian's having earned a 60% interest in the Property, with those payments to Marifil continuing until such time as commercial production is declared on the Property and the capital costs of the project have been repaid in full.

The Agreement is subject to a number of conditions and regulatory approval.

Castillian Announces Option/JV to Acquire Up to 65% Interest in the San Luis Nickel-Copper-PGM Properties, Argentina of Marifil Mines Ltd.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, May 17, 2007 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --

CASTILLIAN RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:CT) ("Castillian"), announces that, subject to regulatory approval, it has signed a second agreement with MARIFIL MINES LTD. (TSX VENTURE:MFM) ("Marifil") whereby Castillian may earn up to a 65% interest in Marifil's "San Luis" belt located in the San Luis province of Argentina. This agreement allows Castillian to earn a controlling interest in the remainder of the prospective ground in this camp-scale belt and results in a significant increase in Castillian's land position from 3214 hectares to 57,787 hectares.

The San Luis property is a 54,573 hectare nickel-copper-PGM ("platinum group metals") property covering a belt of differentiated ultramafic and mafic rocks that are prospective for nickel-copper sulphide deposits with associated PGMs as demonstrated by the occurrence of the Las Aguilas deposit. The property is wholly-owned by Marifil, subject to an underlying 2% net smelter royalty on a portion of the property held by BHP Billiton (BHPB). (See Marifil News Release October 6, 2005.)

In 2006 Marifil signed a joint venture agreement with Maximus Resources, a private company, to develop the Las Aguilas Ni-Cu-Co-Pt deposit located near the south end of the ultramafic belt. Maximus subsequently vended its interest to Castillian Resources (see Castillian News Release March 6, 2007). This new agreement allows Castillian to earn an interest in the remainder of Marifil's holdings that were not part of the underlying Maximus agreement. With this agreement Castillian and Marifil control essentially all of the prospective mafic-ultramafic units along this 80 kilometer belt.

David Gower, P.Geo., Castillian's President and CEO said, "This agreement, coupled with the previously announced Las Aguilas agreement provides Castillian with access to a highly prospective and under-explored nickel-copper sulphide belt in an excellent mining jurisdiction with good access to infrastructure. The Project has a known resource that has potential to be expanded (see Castillian News Release March 6, 2007) and was previously not systematically evaluated for platinum group element potential, coupled with a number of additional targets that require drilling. In addition the area has not been surveyed by EM techniques that are most effective for detecting nickel sulphide deposits. Castillian expects to have completed the process of registering its Argentina subsidiary by May 22 and has already hired key personnel to operate the joint venture. We are very excited to embark on the drilling and regional exploration of this belt."

Danielle Giovenazzo (PhD, P.Geo.) has joined Castillian and will take responsibility for managing the Las Aguilas and San Luis projects. Dr. Giovenazzo is a nickel exploration specialist who brings more than 25 years of experience including most recently, 16 years with Falconbridge where she worked on nickel exploration projects and project generation mostly in Canada and was involved in discovery of new ore lenses at Raglan. She was also involved in projects located in Greenland, Australia, Namibia and Brazil. She completed her PhD on the Geochemistry and Metallogeny of the Kenty Lake Nickel-Copper sulphide deposit in 1991.

Subsequent to earning a 60% interest, Castillian can increase its interest by a further 5% by arranging for the total amount of financing to bring the project to commercial production, such financing will be an obligation of the joint venture and will be subject to the parties agreeing to the terms of the financing, including all payback provisions, and by making cash payments of US$150,000 per year to Marifil for each year following Castillian having earned a 60% interest in the Property with those payments to Marifil continuing until such time as commercial production is declared on the Property and the capital costs of the project have been repaid in full.

David Gower, P. Geo., President & CEO of Castillian Resources Corporation (Castillian) (TSX VENTURE:CT) announces that Castillian has intersected 20.1 meters of nickel-copper sulphide mineralization on the Metago Deposit at the Mangabal Project, Brazil. This is the deepest hole for which assays have been received to date and confirms that the Metago Deposit remains open for further expansion down plunge to the southwest.

Hole CRMS-07-13 intersected 20.1 meters grading 1.08% nickel, 0.43% copper, 0.04% cobalt with higher grade sections including 6.0 meters grading 2.02% nickel and 0.64% copper (see table below for details). The vertical depth to the intersection is approximately 75 meters (see attached longitudinal section for location - Figure 1). Hole CRMS-07-16 has been completed and has intersected sulphide mineralization 50 meters further down the plunge from CRMS-07-13, however assays are pending for this hole.

Assays have also been received for drill holes CRMS-07-008 to 011. Drill holes CRMS-07-008 and 010 confirm the continuity of the Metago Zone along the plunge and will be important for calculating the resource when the deposit has been delineated in the coming months. Drill hole CRMS-07-010 intersected 17.4 meters grading 0.62% nickel and 0.31% copper within a 32.5 meter lower grade mineralized interval (see table below for details). Hole CRMS-07-008 which was previously released (see Castillian release dated April 24, 2007) intersected two mineralized zones; 9.45 meters grading 1.17% nickel and 0.28% copper from 51.2-60.65 meters down the hole and 3 meters grading 1.22% nickel and 0.22% copper from 69.0-72.0 meters down the hole.

The drilling to date demonstrates that the Metago Deposit has continuity along its plunge for at least 300 meters and remains open for further expansion. All intersections to date are at shallow levels, above 100 meters in vertical depth.

Drill holes CRMS-07-009 and 011 were drilled below the plunge of the deposit (see attached longitudinal section) and did not intersect significant mineralization and establish the deposit limit in that direction.

The company completed an airborne EM survey using Geotech's VTEM system with B-field (see Castillian release dated April 24, 2007). Castillian mobilized a second drill to the Project, to test the first of a series of high priority VTEM conductors, approximately 800 meters along strike to the northeast from the Metago Deposit (see attached map - Figure 2). The first drill hole intersected 10 meters of disseminated sulphide mineralization (assays pending) from 263 meters to 273 meters core depth (185 meters vertical depth) which is similar in character to the disseminated halo mineralization associated with the Metago deposit. It is too early to predict whether this will develop into a significant mineralized zone however the initial result is encouraging. The conductor associated with this target is approximately 700m in strike length, has elevated nickel in soil geochemistry and a strong associated magnetic anomaly, as such it is a larger target than the Metago Deposit. This intersection suggests potential for nickel-copper sulphide mineralization along a 1.8 kilometer conductive trend extending to the southwest to include the Metago deposit.

Quality Control

The company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0-metre intervals or less. Sample preparation is completed at the ALS-Chemex preparation lab Goiania, Brazil and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada using multi-acid digest/ ICP-AES technique. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 samples. Five percent of pulps are re-analysed at SGS Laboratory Services in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. This is the same QA/QC protocol that was employed by Falconbridge (now Xstrata) in operating the project.

The Quality Control and all aspects of the exploration program is supervised by Castillian Exploration Manager, Joel Hrominchuk, P.Geo., who is a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

Explorer koennen bei entsprechenden Drillings ordentlich laufen. First Narrow zog in wenigen Tagen 500% nach Norden. Bei Castillian koennen wir ja mit einen regelmaessigen Newsflow rechnen. Die Gesellschaft scheint recht transparent zu sein.

Ich hab zwar kein Rohstoffraketen Abo, aber der Börsenbrief ist "einer der Besseren" aus meiner Sicht. Die haben schon einige scharfe Gesellschaften an Land gezogen. CCE z. B. Na gut, bei CCE war ich sogar noch vor den Rohstoffraketen dran.

Mit den Grafiken kann man sich mal ein Bild von den Deposits machen. Sonst hört man immer fällt 20% nach Süden ab, Anomalien auf 1,8 km usw. Schöne Grafik.

Das fortgeschrittene Goldprojekt in Bolivien könnte man verkaufen. Mittlerweile soll das politische Thema dort unten gegessen sein, was man so liest. Castillian sollte sich auf Nickel konzentrieren. Eine Ende des Stahlhungers ist nicht abzusehen. Die Golddeposits können warten. IMO.

Institutionelle Anleger sind zu 0,95 CAD eingestiegen. Castillian verfügt nach eigenen Angaben über 23 Mio. Dollar Cash und und hat noch nicht mal Schulden. Ausserdem heißt es in dem Link, es gäbe Übernahmegerüchte. Der Explorer sollte somit keine Probleme haben, seine Projekte leicht und locker zu schultern. Offenbar ist hier in Deutschland kein Mensch investiert. Der RSR sollte doch über einige Leute in den Kundenlisten verfügen.

May 21 (Bloomberg) -- The price for nickel, used to make stainless steel, may rise 20 percent as a shortage of smelters to process ore into metal constrains supply, Credit Suisse Group said in a report.

Nickel may reach $65,000 a metric ton in the ``near term,'' Credit Suisse London-based analysts led by Jeremy Gray and Eily Ong said in a report dated May 16. Smelting output may grow at 4.6 percent this year compared with demand growth as high as 5 percent should stainless steelmakers rebuild inventories and global economic growth increase, the report said.

Nickel for immediate delivery rose to a record $54,050 a metric ton in London on May 15 as China's economic growth fueled demand for the metal. Cost overruns and delays at BHP Billiton Ltd.'s Ravensthorpe and Cia. Vale do Rio Doce's Goro projects, the two largest nickel mines under construction, exacerbated supply shortfalls, helping drive price increases.

``Prices will remain strong over the next two years given the lack of supply growth until 2009 at the earliest,'' Gray and Ong wrote in the report. ``The current profile of new smelters is unlikely to be enough to feed ongoing strong demand from the stainless steel industry in the next two years.''

Nickel for immediate delivery rose $1,800, or 3.5 percent, to $54,025 a ton on May 18. Prices have jumped 155 percent in the past year as inventories plunged 78 percent to an amount equal to less than two days of global consumption.

Only three of 11 nickel mine and smelter projects under way, including Ravensthorpe and Goro, will start production before 2010, the analysts said.

Risk of Delay

``Any delay in the 2008 startup of Ravensthorpe and the 2009 startup of Goro will clearly make our global smelter growth forecasts of 4.6 percent in 2007 and 5.3 percent growth in 2008 look too aggressive and would help underpin the current strength in nickel prices,'' the report said.

The forecast by Credit Suisse compares to the $55,000 a ton estimate of Standard Bank analyst Michael Skinner made April 26.

Prices are expected to stay ``strong'' over the next two years given the lack of smelter supply growth until 2009, the report said. They may also gain should an anticipated increase in production of lower grade ferro nickel from China be overestimated, the analysts wrote.

``The strength in today's nickel price is a good lead indicator to suggest that the ramp up of Chinese production is clearly taking longer than expected to make an impact,'' they said. ``Our suspicion is that the ramp up of Chinese production will not make a significant dent in global supply until 2009 at the earliest.''

The bank is assuming demand growth of 3 percent this year, rising to 5 percent should stainless steelmakers build inventories in the third quarter. A ``pronounced'' cutback to stainless steel production may damp demand for nickel and threaten prices, Credit Suisse wrote.

Kam heute frisch rein:

Castillian=Volltreffer!

Neben harter Arbeit gehört auch eine gute Portion Gespür zum erfolgreichen Aktiengeschäft dazu. Wir mussten uns bei Castillian Resources (WKN: A0BME0) gehörig beeilen, denn es war absehbar, dass jeden Tag gute Nachrichten vom Bohrprogramm aus Brasilien kommen konnten. Und siehe da: Nur wenige Stunden nach unserer Empfehlung liefen Spitzennachrichten von Castillian über den Ticker!

Die Geologen von Castillian fanden beim Mangabal-Projekt eine neue Sulfid-Zone. Dort wurde beispielsweise Nickel-Kupfer-Sulfid-Mineralisierung mit 1,08 Prozent Nickel über ein Intervall von 20,1 Metern mit einem Unterbereich von 2,02 Prozent Nickel über 6 Meter gefunden! Soweit so gut, aber was ist daran besonders?

Das sind die Resultate eines Loches, welches bisher am tiefsten in die Erde getrieben wurde und von dem die Ergebnisse schon vorliegen. Es bestätigt, dass die Mineralisierung der Metago-Zone auch in einer Tiefe von 125 Metern noch nicht zu Ende ist und sich aller Voraussicht nach weiter nach unten - in Richtung Südwesten - erstreckt.

Das bisherige Bohrprogramm bestätigt die Kontinuität des Metago-Vorkommens über mindestens 300 Meter. Darüber hinaus ist eine weitere Ausdehnung wahrscheinlich. Die Nickelmineralisierung tritt bis jetzt oberflächennah auf. Dies ist auch von Vorteil. Einige Bohrergebnisse stehen auch noch aus.

Außerdem ist Castillian mit einem zweiten Bohrgerät rund 800 Meter nordöstlich des Metago-Vorkommens aktiv, um eine Reihe von viel versprechenden Zielen zu testen. Beim ersten Bohrloch wurde eine Mineralisierung gefunden, die Ähnlichkeiten zum Metago-Vorkommen aufweist. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt ist es aber noch zu früh, um eine seriöse Einschätzung darüber abliefern zu können, ob sich dies zu einer weiteren bedeutsamen Nickelzone entwickelt.

Zumindest sind die ersten Anzeichen viel versprechend. Diese Zone dürfte dann noch größer als die Metago-Zone sein. Die Nickel-Kupfer-Sulfid-Mineralisierung könnte sich über eine Länge von 1,8 Kilometern in Richtung Südwesten erstrecken. Das Metago-Vorkommen ist bei dieser Angabe schon enthalten. In Brasilien läuft also bei der Jagd nach einem Weltklasse-Nickelvorkommen alles nach Plan. Was macht Argentinien?

Castillian hat ebenfalls in der vergangenen Woche einen zweiten Vertrag mit Marifil Mines Ltd. unterschrieben und sich dabei eine 65%ige Option auf die aussichtsreichsten Gebiete des kompletten San-Luis-Nickel-Kupfer-Gürtels in Argentinien gesichert. Hierbei geht es um 54.573 Hektar! Durch diesen wichtigen Schritt kontrolliert Castillian nun die Filetstücke dieses 80(!) Kilometer langen Gürtels. Der Gesamtlandbesitz in Argentinien steigt damit von 3.214 Hektar auf 57.787 Hektar! Noch hat der Markt diese bedeutsame Meldung noch nicht verarbeitet. Das ist Ihre Chance!

Castillian hat sich den Zugang zu einem extrem aussichtsreichen und wenig explorierten Nickel-Kupfer-Sulfid-Gürtel mit guter Infrastruktur gesichert. Hier herrscht auch eine minenfreundliche Rechtssprechung. Und das Beste daran ist, dass dort bereits ein nachgewiesenes Vorkommen existiert, welches das Potenzial hat, noch deutlich ausgedehnt zu werden. Las Aguilas (liegt ebenfalls im obigen Gürtel) kann nämlich bereits eine historische Ressourcenschätzung von 2,2 Mio. Tonnen mit durchschnittlich 0,52 Prozent Nickel und 0,50 Prozent Kupfer vorweisen.

Bisher wurde nicht systematisch exploriert. Das wird sich jetzt ändern! In dieser Woche soll die argentinische Tochtergesellschaft von Castillian startklar sein. Mit Dr. Danielle Giovenazzo hat man eine Spitzenkraft für das Management der Las-Aguilas und San-Luis-Projekte gewinnen können. Sie ist eine ausgewiesene Nickel-Explorationsexpertin mit mehr als 25 Jahren Erfahrung in der Branche, darunter 16 Jahre beim Big Player Falconbridge in Kanada und Brasilien. Ihre Doktorarbeit schrieb sie über das Kenty Lake Nickel-Kupfer-Sulfid-Vorkommen. Genau die richtige Frau für diesen Job!

Um die ersten 50 Prozent an dem San-Luis-Nickel-Projekt zu erwerben, muss Castillian innerhalb von vier Jahren rund 3 Mio. USD in die Exploration des Gebietes investieren und zudem insgesamt 600.000 USD Cash bezahlen. Der Anteil kann dann bis auf 65 Prozent erhöht werden, wenn Castillian eine wirtschaftliche Machbarkeitsstudie erstellt und die notwendige Finanzierung für den Produktionsstart arrangiert.

FAZIT

Castillian hat genau wie ATW Venture alles, was eine grandiose Blockbuster-Aktie braucht: Top-Management, Top-Projekte, Top-Aussichten. Finanziell ist das Unternehmen auf Rosen gebettet. Falls Castillian ein wirtschaftlich abbaubares Nickelvorkommen in Brasilien nachweisen und dieses in Richtung Produktion bringen kann, dürfte sich die Aktie verzehnfachen! Hohe Nickelpreise vorausgesetzt.

Du scheinst Dich intensiver mit dem Wert auszukennen - ich bin erst neu dabei... Gibt es irgendwelche genaueren terminlichen Ankündigungen für gewisse Vorhaben oder Ergebnisse o.ä.?
Ich habe in Frankfurt mit David Gower gesprochen - er deutete an, dass die nächsten Wochen wohl news zu erwarten seien - u.a. gebe es zwei ausstehende Labor-Ergebnisse aus dem Mangabal-Projekt - wenn ich es recht in Erinnerung habe...

Am 27.5. auf der Rohstoffkonferenz habe ich mit ihm gesprochen... Ich bin seit einer Woche dabei - mit wieviel ist doch eigentlich egal, oder?! Das anfängliche Budget ist C$3.4 Million mit Potential, das Budget und den Umfang von Arbeit für bestimmte Ergebnisse zu vergrößern. Diese Mittel-Schätzung ist nicht von Castillian bestätigt worden und ist die Einsetzung von NI 43-101 Standards vorausdatiert worden. Damit ist Hintergrund-Informationen nur versorgt worden. Keine Analysen wurden für PGEs während des originalen Bohren vervollständigt. Vor kurzem sind zwei mineralisierte Kreuzungen zusätzlich zu mehreren isolierten Beispielen für Nickel wieder-analysiert worden, Kupfer, Kobalt, Platin und palladium und Ergebnisse zeigen, daß bedeutungsvolle PGE Werte in den Anzahlungen vorkommen, (sehen Sie, Presse-Freilassung datierte den 5. März 2007). Werte bis zu 17.8 g/t-Platin sind in wählerischen Griff-Beispielen von Kern identifiziert worden, der von Marifil analysiert wird. Ein Rückblick der Bohrmaschine-Fakten zeigt eine Anzahl von Gebieten, wo die Anzahlungen vielleicht für Ausdehnung durch zusätzliches Bohren offen sind, dort.

Der Las Aguilas Osten und Westen Ni-Cu-PGE, die Anzahlungen mit Deich-wie mafic zu ultramafic assoziiert werden, den aufdringliche Steine, die enthalten, verbreiteten, Netz-textured und örtlich Sattelschlepper, den massive Sulfide mit pyroxenites und peridotites assoziierten. Sie bilden Teil vom San Luis mafic zu ultramafic-Trend, der über einer Entfernung von 80 bis 100 erkannt wird, km und in dem mehrere andere Störungen beurkundt worden sind, um Nickel-Sulfide zu enthalten. Der Castillian und Marifil, die gemeinsames Unterfangen-Land-Paket all die künftigen mafic/ultramafic-Steine, die im Gürtel vorkommen, im Grunde deckt. Auserlesene Gebiete dieses Land-Paketes, die das VTEM System mit B-Acker benutzen, werden geflogen werden, sobald das System in Argentinien verfügbar wird, (erwartete in August). Identifikation von Bohrmaschine-Zielen, die mit mineralisierten aufdringlichen Komplexen im Gürtel und der Vergrößerung von mineralization bei Las Aguilas assoziiert wird, wird der anfängliche Fokus für die VTEM Umfrage sein.

Major Perforaciones SA (eine Tochtergesellschaft von Major, der Gruppe Internationale AG bohrt,) basierte in Mendoza, ist den Vertrag für das Bohren verliehen worden.

Qualität Kontrolle

Die Gesellschaft beschäftigt ein QA/QC Protokoll auf allen Aspekten der analytischen Verfahren. Kern-Beispiele sind sawn und ein, die Hälfte des NQ Kernes zur Kern-Kiste für künftigen Hinweis und einen wiederhergestellt wird, die Hälfte des Kernes für Analyse geschickt wird. Beispiele werden in ca. 1.0-metre Intervalle gebracht oder weniger. Probieren Sie, Vorbereitung wird beim ALS Chemex Beispiel-Vorbereitung-Labor in Mendoza vervollständigt werden und wird bei ALS-Chemex Labor in Vancouver geprüft werden, Kanada, das Multi-Säure-Digest benutzt, / ICP-AES Technik. Ein leeres Beispiel wird jedes 40 Beispiel hineingesteckt, und übliche Beispiele, die eine Auswahl von Graden darstellen, werden bei Intervallen von 1 in 20 Beispiele hineingesteckt. Fünf Prozent von Breien werden bei einer dritten Partei unabhängiges Labor wieder-analysiert.

Die Qualität Kontrolle und alle Aspekte des Erforschung-Programms werden von Castillian Erforschung Managern, Dr. Danielle Giovenazzo, beaufsichtigt P.Geo., und Dr. Fernando Tallarico, P.Geo. beide von dem die Kriterien für eine Qualifizierte Person trifft wie unter Nationalem Instrument 43-101 definiert.

Castillian drilling improves Mangabal South consistency

CASTILLIAN RESOURCES INTERSECTS 45.25 METERS GRADING 0.85% NICKEL AND 0.43% COPPER, INCLUDING 20.25 METERS GRADING 1.24% NICKEL, 0.46% COPPER AT THE MANGABAL SOUTH NICKEL-COPPER DEPOSIT, BRAZIL

Castillian Resources Corp. has intersected 45.25 metres grading 0.85 per cent nickel, 0.43 per cent copper and 0.03 per cent cobalt at the Mangabal South deposit, extending the mineralization a further 50 metres along strike. This intersection includes 20.25 metres grading 1.24 per cent nickel, 0.46 per cent copper and 0.04 per cent cobalt.

Although this is the deepest hole to intersect the Mangabal South deposit to date, the upper contact of the intersection is at a shallow vertical depth of approximately 80 metres and the deposit remains open along strike and down plunge.

The drilling to date demonstrates that the Mangabal South deposit has continuity along its plunge for at least 400 metres and remains open for further expansion. According to Joel Hrominchuk, PGeo, the project manager: "This is the thickest and most consistently mineralized intersection we have intersected to this point in the delineation of the Mangabal South deposit. The trend toward greater thickness as we move down plunge of the deposit is very encouraging as it will translate into a significant increase in tonnage for the deposit. We are on track to commence the resource modelling for this deposit in the third quarter of this year and we plan to prepare an NI-43-101 compliant resource in the fourth quarter. If the deposit remains open at that time we will produce a preliminary model for the portion of the deposit currently being delineated."

Results for drill hole CRMS-07-021 are summarized in the table below (see news in Stockwatch on May 16, April 24 and July 4, 2007, for previously released drill results).

the intersection angle is such that the core widths are expected to be very
close to true width for this intersection. See Figure 1 for pierce point
location.

Assays are currently pending for six additional drill holes on the Mangabal South deposit and will be reported as results become available. The addition of two drills to the project in early July will accelerate the delivery of results from the program. Castillian continues with four drill rigs on the project, three of which are focused on delineation and expansion of the Mangabal South deposit.

Quality control

The company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one-half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one-half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approximately 1.0-metre intervals or less. Sample preparation is completed at the SGS Lakefield preparation lab in Goiania, Brazil, and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada, or SGS Lakefield Lab in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, using multiacid digest/ICP-AES and AAS techniques. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of one in 20 samples. Five per cent of pulps are reanalyzed at SGS Laboratory Services in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, or ALS Chemex Lab in Vancouver, Canada. This is the same QA/QC protocol that was employed by Falconbridge (now Xstrata) in operating the project.

The quality control and all aspects of the exploration program is supervised by Castillian exploration manager, Joel Hrominchuk, PGeo, who is a qualified person as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Hrominchuk has reviewed the scientific and technical information in this press release.

Das heißt gar nichts, denn es kommt sehr darauf an, inwieweit die Vorkommen gefördert werden können und vor allem, mit welchem Aufwand und ob es überhaupt ökonomisch möglich ist...
Deshalb macht es keinen Sinn, sich nur an den vorgefundenen Gehalten zu orientieren (siehe Knight..., wo die Gehalte wesentlich höher sind als bei Castillian - nur leider liegen sie in der Arktis...)!

Im Zuge der Turbulenzen letzte Woche an den Märkten waren institutionelle Investoren auch bei Castillian gezwungen, wegen anderweitiger Verpflichtungen ihre Positionen glattzustellen. Dennoch verfügt Castillian weiterhin über ein starkes Cash-Polster von ca. 19 Mio. $, welches konservativ und sicher angelegt ist!
Die Projekte werden weiter vorangetrieben und nach wie vor werden Ergebnisse von Bohrproben, welche im Labor sind, erwartet....

Es braucht wahrlich Geduld bei Castillian, dennoch kann ich mich des Eindrucks nicht erwehren, dass das jetzt wirklich günstige Schnäppchen-Kurse in dem Abverkauf waren... Leider ist die PR-Arbeit dürftig - so man überhaupt von einer reden kann...
Dennoch antwortet D. Gower sofort und sehr offen auf mails, das wiederum scheint positiv!

CASTILLIAN ACQUIRES MACAUBAS PROJECT IN BAHIA, BRAZIL FROM XSTRATA COPPER

Castillian Resources Corp. has entered into a binding letter agreement whereby Xstrata Copper (through Xstrata Brasil Ltda.) has agreed to vend its 100-per-cent interest in the Macaubas project in Brazil to Castillian Metais (a wholly owned subsidiary of Castillian) in exchange for reimbursement of certain fees and holding costs. Under the terms of the agreement, Xstrata will retain a 2-per-cent net smelter return royalty. Xstrata will also maintain a back-in right to a 60-per-cent interest in any deposits on the property that host at least 500,000 tonnes of copper or one million ounces of gold, which back-in right shall be in effect until the date that is 90 days following the date on which the board of directors of Castillian provides written notice to Xstrata Brasil of its decision by to proceed to a full feasibility study on the property. Xstrata must incur expenditures equal to 300 per cent of Castillian's expenditures in order to complete its back-in. As part of this letter agreement, Castillian and Xstrata will complete a definitive agreement by Dec. 31, 2007.

The project was identified and explored by Falconbridge which incurred exploration expenditures of approximately $750,000 since 2000 to develop iron-oxide copper-gold (IOCG) targets in the area. As part of the review by Xstrata Copper following the takeover of Falconbridge, the project was determined not to be a fit with Xstrata Copper's strategic business plan which led to the opportunity for Castillian's involvement. According to David Gower, president and chief executive officer of Castillian: "The project has the proper geological attributes for an IOCG environment and has seen significant, credible work done by the team at Falconbridge to advance to the point where drill targets have been identified. This agreement provides Castillian the opportunity to take advantage of the significant work already completed and provides Xstrata with the ability to take a significant position in the project at a future date should results warrant." Under the terms of the agreement, Castillian will be in a position to drill selected targets in 2007.

The Macaubas project lies within the Paramirim rift in central-north Brazil, centred about the town of Ibiajara, Bahia state. The project comprises a large land package covering an area of about 17,000 hectares in 13 concessions in an area that is well serviced by roads. Historical exploration has defined a structurally controlled magnetic induced polarization anomaly, which outcrops in the form of copper-oxide-bearing, magnetite-rich quartz veins. Several Cu-Au garimpos (artisanal gold mines) are clustered along this north-northwest-trending corridor that extends along 15 kilometres of strike length by eight km wide. Within this highly prospective trend, noteworthy is the Baixa Grande target that is defined by a subcircular copper soil anomaly juxtaposed on a bull's eye magnetic anomaly that is 3,500 metres in diameter, where numerous rock-chip samples returned significant Cu-Au grades (for example, 3.4 per cent Cu and 10.87 grams per tonne Au, and 4.3 per cent Cu and 1.61 g/t Au).

The Macaubas district is located in the southeastern portion of the San Francisco craton and bears a similar tectonic setting to other world-class IOCG districts such as Carajas and the Gawler craton, with mineralization occurring at the contact between Archean crust and younger rift-related Proterozoic sequences, with multiple intrusions of oxidized magnetite-bearing granites. Field reconnaissance and prospecting clearly indicate the epigenetic nature of the mineralization that is hosted either by basement gneiss, graphite schist or mafic volcanic rocks. The structurally controlled copper-gold mineralization is typically oxidized and sulphur poor with magnetite-hematite associated with chalcopyrite, bornite and minor pyrite plus/minus gold similarly to other IOCG deposits worldwide.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 19, 2007) - Castillian Resources Corporation (Castillian) (TSX VENTURE:CT - News) announces that drill hole CRMS-07-029 has intersected 40.9 meters grading 0.88% nickel and 0.26% copper, and 0.02% cobalt at the Mangabal South Deposit. This intersection includes a 10.9 meter interval grading 1.50% nickel, 0.53% copper and 0.04% cobalt. This intersection occurs at a shallow vertical depth of approximately 105 meters below surface.
Castillian has also awarded a contract to Geoexplore Consulting Services of Belo Horizonte, Brazil to complete an independent NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate for the Mangabal South Nickel-Copper Deposit, marking the commencement of the economic evaluation of the deposit. On the basis of this resource estimate further studies including metallurgical, environmental and engineering studies will be initiated in the coming months to ensure efficient evaluation of this resource.

Results for five recently drilled holes from the Mangabal South Deposit including hole CRMS-07-029 are summarized in the following table (see releases dated May 16, April 24, July 4, and July 24, 2007 for previously released drill results):

See Figure 1 for pierce point locations. These drill holes are completed on
a 45 degree angle of inclination and as such the core widths of the
intersections are expected to be close to the true widths based on the
current interpretation of the geology.


Assays are currently pending for twenty-five additional drill holes on the Mangabal South deposit and will be reported as results become available. The deposit remains open along the plunge to the southwest and has been extended at least an additional 50 meters in that direction by recent drilling. Turn around time at laboratories due to high volumes of samples has increased significantly, which has caused a large number of drill holes to have assays pending. Castillian continues with four drill rigs on the Project.

Quality Control

The company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0-metre intervals or less. Sample preparation is completed at the SGS Lakefield preparation lab in Goiania, Brazil and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada or SGS Lakefield Lab in Belo Horizonte, Brazil using multi-acid digest/ ICP-AES and AAS techniques. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 samples. Five percent of pulps are re-analyzed at SGS Laboratory Services in Belo Horizonte, Brazil or ALS Chemex Lab in Vancouver, Canada. This is the same QA/QC protocol that was employed by Falconbridge (now Xstrata Nickel) in operating the project.

The Quality Control and all aspects of the exploration program is supervised by Castillian Exploration Manager, Joel Hrominchuk, P.Geo., who is a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101. TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 20, 2007) - Castillian Resources Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CT) announces initial assay results from its ongoing drill campaign at the Las Aguilas Ni-Cu-PGE deposit, San Luis Province, central Argentina. Results of the initial 9 holes are listed in the table below, including hole LA07-005 which intersected 38.8 meters grading 0.81% Ni and 0.40% copper with several significant high grade intervals exceeding 1% nickel within the zone (see Table 1 below). Las Aguilas is located 40 km NE of the city of San Luis and about 200 km East of city of Mendoza (see Figure 1) and Castillian holds its interest through an option - joint venture with Marifil Mines Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MFM) (see press release dated March 5, 2007).

The current drilling program is designed to confirm and expand the Las Aguilas Ni-Cu deposit and provide data required to complete a NI-43-101 compliant resource estimate including assaying for platinum group elements (PGE) which were not systematically analysed by previous explorers. Significant progress has been made since the commencement of the program in early July this year. A total of approximately 3,200 meters of diamond drilling has been completed to date. Twenty-five (25) drill holes have been completed and approximately 2,000 samples shipped to the ALS-Chemex Lab (Mendoza-Vancouver). Due to very high volumes lab turn-around time has been slow.

Complete assay results have been received for 8 holes (the first hole was abandoned due to problems below the collar) and significant mineralized intercepts are indicated below. These holes were drilled on four sections spaced 25 meters apart on the Las Aguilas East deposit (see Figure 1).

The Las Aguilas Deposit contains a historical resource of 2.2 million tonnes grading 0.52 % Ni, 0.51 % Cu and 0.04 % Co at a 0.3% Ni cut-off grade. The resource occurs in two sulfide deposits (Las Aguilas East and West Deposits), as defined by Fabricaciones Militares in 1986, which intermittently carried out various geological, geophysical and surface drilling exploration campaigns from 1972 until 1986. This resource estimate has not been confirmed by Castillian and predates the establishment of NI 43-101 standards and is provided for information only.

The Las Aguilas East deposit is hosted by an approximately 100 meter wide, irregular shaped ultramafic to mafic intrusion. The intrusion trends north and the main mineralized zone is located near or at the base of the intrusion (east side), associated with pyroxenite and peridotite. The sulphide minerals consist of pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pentlandite and occur as disseminations, net-textured and massive to semi-massive veins. Platinum Group Elements (PGE) are associated with the sulphides.

The deposit has an elliptical higher grade core enclosed in an elongated halo of disseminated lower grade mineralization. An important result of the program to date is that it indicates that the higher grade core is plunging at approximately 45 degrees to the southeast and the deposit remains open for expansion along this plunge direction.

The Las Aguilas West deposit is located approximately 300 meters west of the East deposit and is hosted by steeply dipping mafic to ultramafic intrusive rocks, consisting of pyroxenite with net-textured and disseminated sulphides. All assays are pending for drill holes testing the West deposit.

Assays are currently pending for 15 additional drill holes and will be reported as results become available.

Quality Control

The company employs a diligent QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0 -metre intervals or less when in the mineralized zone, and at 1.5 metres or less when in disseminated sulphides (less than 2% sulphides). Sample preparation is completed at the ALS-Chemex lab preparation lab in Mendoza, Argentina and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada, using multi-acid digest/ ICP-AES for the base metals. Platinum, palladium and gold values are determined by 30 gram fire assay with ICP-AES finish. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 to 30 samples.

The quality control and all aspects of the exploration program are supervised by Castillian exploration managers, Danielle Giovenazzo, Ph.D., PGeo, and Fernando Tallarico, Ph.D., PGeo, both of whom meet the criteria for a qualified person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

Nickel - Der Wahnsinn!

Ende Mai 2007 kam der Nickelmarkt deutlich unter Druck. Die Höchstnotierungen von 50.000 Dollar pro Tonne waren schnell Geschichte. Die Abwärtsbewegung konnte erst im August bei 25.000 Dollar gestoppt werden. Auslöser für diesen Abverkauf war die Änderung der Regelungen zur Lagerhaltung und Verleihung an der London Metal Exchange (LME). Eine Änderung der bisherigen Verfahrensweisen war notwendig geworden, weil zu dieser Zeit eine starke Konzentration von Nickelvorräten an der LME in den Händen weniger Anbieter herrschte und der Markt gleichzeitig unzureichend mit Nickel versorgt wurde.

In den vergangenen Handelstagen wurde die pessimistische Stimmung aus dem Nickelmarkt gefegt. Allein heute konnte der Kurs um rund 18 Prozent zulegen. Was ist da los? China bringt den Optimismus zurück. Der weltweit größte Nickelverbraucher vermeldete einen Nachfrageanstieg um 35 Prozent in den ersten sieben Monaten des Jahres. Die Jinchuan Group Co., der führende Nickelproduzent Asiens hat den Preis im September bereits das zweite Mal angehoben. Damit hat sich der Kurs des Industriemetalls seit August um circa 40 Prozent erholt. Für den Rest des Jahres kann mit einer anhaltend hohen Nachfrage auf dem Nickelmarkt gerechnet werden, da China auch in diesem Jahr mit deutlich mehr 10 Prozent wachsen wird. Dies dürfte den Kurs weiter beflügeln.

The Las Aguilas West deposit is located approximately 300 meters west of the East deposit and is hosted by steeply dipping mafic to ultramafic intrusive rocks, consisting of pyroxenite with net-textured and disseminated sulphides. All assays are pending for drill holes testing the West deposit.

Assays are currently pending for 15 additional drill holes and will be reported as results become available.

Diese Nachricht bezieht sich auf die Meldung Nickel vor Gegenbwegung! vom 30.09.2007 / 14:50Uhr. (hier klicken (History))

Auf dem Nickelmarkt könnte es in den nächsten Monaten wieder zu deutlichen Preissteigerungen kommen. Im Juni 2007 hatte die London Metal Exchange (LME) eine Regeländerung zur Leihe von Nickellagerbeständen eingeführt. Auf diese Weise sollte erreicht werden, dass der Markt wieder ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Aufgrund der davor geltenden Ausleihbedingungen war der Nickelmarkt über einen langen Zeitraum sehr konzentriert. Ein Preisanstieg auf über 50.000 USD pro Tonne war die Folge. Nun scheint das Konzentrationsproblem aus der Welt zu sein, denn der Nickelkurs hat sich auf ein verträglicheres Niveau von 30.000 USD verringert. Auch die Lagerbestände an der LME sind mit 35.250 Tonnen wieder fast auf das Rekordniveau von Februar 2006 gestiegen. Grund genug für die LME die Ausleihbeschränkungen zurückzunehmen. Nun funktioniert der Nickelmarkt wieder nach den alten Regeln. Damit dürften die Lagerbestände in nächster Zeit wieder deutlich abnehmen, denn die Weltnachfrage ist ungebrochen hoch. Auch der MACD-Indikator steht kurz davor ein Kaufsignal zu generieren. Risikofreudige Anleger nutzen das derzeitige Kursniveau zum Einstieg. Bis zum Jahresende sind Notierungen um 40.000 USD nicht unwahrscheinlich!

CASTILLIAN INTERSECTS 60.87 METERS GRADING 0.78% NICKEL, 0.50% COPPER INCLUDING 12.6 METERS GRADING 1.19% NICKEL, 0.75% COPPER AND SIGNIFICANT PGM NEAR SURFACE AT LAS AGUILAS, ARGENTINA

Castillian Resources Corp. has released additional assay results from drilling at the Las Aguilas nickel-copper-PGE deposit (see news release in Stockwatch dated Sept. 17 for previously released drill results).

Assays for five holes are listed in the mineralized intercepts from the Las Aguilas East deposit table, including hole LA07-004 which intersected 60.8 metres grading 0.78 per cent nickel, 0.50 per cent copper, 0.05 per cent cobalt, including 12.6 metres grading 1.19 per cent nickel, 0.75 per cent copper and 0.07 per cent cobalt (see the Las Aguilas East deposit table).

In addition, very interesting results are noted in drill hole LA07-014, which intersected 10.2 metres grading 0.58 per cent nickel, 0.38 per cent copper, 0.03 per cent cobalt, and high precious metal values of 0.56 gram per tonne (g/t) platinum, 0.54 g/t palladium and 0.27 g/t gold (1.37 g/t Pt+Pd+Au), which suggests potential for an excellent precious metal byproduct credit. Drill hole LA07-013 also intersected two significant intervals with greater than 1.0 g/t Pt+Pd+Au (Las Aguilas East deposit table).

CASTILLIAN INTERSECTS 38.5 METERS GRADING 0.64% NICKEL AND 0.34% COPPER, INCLUDING 9.85 METERS GRADING 1.32% NICKEL AND 0.43% COPPER AT THE MANGABAL SOUTH NICKEL-COPPER DEPOSIT, BRAZIL

Castillian Resources Corp. has intersected 38.5 metres grading 0.64 per cent nickel, 0.34 per cent copper and 0.02 per cent cobalt at the Mangabal South deposit. This intersection includes 3.15 metres grading 1.06 per cent nickel, 0.64 per cent copper and 0.03 per cent cobalt, and also includes 9.85 metres grading 1.32 per cent nickel, 0.43 per cent copper and 0.04 per cent cobalt in diamond drill hole CRMS-07-045 (estimated true widths are given in the table attached).

Drill hole CRMS-07-041 intersected 25.7 metres grading 0.51 per cent nickel, 0.24 per cent copper and 0.02 per cent cobalt, including 5.55 metres grading 0.94 per cent nickel, 0.47 per cent copper and 0.03 per cent cobalt (estimated true widths are given in the table attached).

David Gower, PGeo, president and chief executive officer of Castillian, stated: "The delineation drilling on the Mangabal South deposit demonstrates good continuity and mineralization now extends 450 metres down the plunge of the zone. The deposit remains open down plunge to the southwest and has been tested to a shallow vertical depth of only approximately 165 metres from surface. The company is commencing the resource calculation with an independent contractor and is targeting having an initial National Instrument 43-101 resource estimate by year-end. Given the current back log of pending assay data which totals 26 drill holes presently, the resource estimate may be delayed by several weeks while waiting for assays."

Assay results for five recently drilled holes from the Mangabal South deposit including holes CRMS-07-041 and CRMS-07-045 are summarized in the following table and locations are shown in longitudinal section attached (see news issued in Stockwatch dated May 16, April 24, July 4, July 24, Sept. 18 and Oct. 4, 2007, for previously released drill results).

Assays are currently pending for 26 additional drill holes on the Mangabal South deposit and will be reported as results become available. Castillian is currently drilling with two drill rigs on the Mangabal South deposit.

Quality control

The company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approximately 1.0-metre intervals or less. Sample preparation is completed at the SGS Lakefield preparation lab in Goiania, Brazil, and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada, or SGS Lakefield Lab in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, using multiacid digest/ICP-AES and AAS techniques. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of one in 20 samples. Five per cent of pulps are reanalyzed at SGS Laboratory Services in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, or ALS Chemex Lab in Vancouver, Canada. This is the same QA/QC protocol that was employed by Falconbridge (now Xstrata) in operating the project.

The quality control and all aspects of the exploration program is supervised by Castillian exploration manager, Joel Hrominchuk, PGeo, who is a qualified person as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Hrominchuk has reviewed the scientific and technical information in this press release.

habe mal ein bischen rumgelesen, da ich mir bei dem Marktumfeld keinen
Reim auf den Umsatzt von Mittwoch machen konnte.

Dabei ist mir ein Satz bei Xstrata (JVPartner von CT) aufgefallen.

"Das Unternehmen wollte die kanadische LionOre übernehmen, verlor bei den Geboten dann aber gegen den russischen Nickelproduzenten Norilsk Nickel."

Mit einer Übernahme hätten sie auch in anderen Ländern einen Fuß in der Tür.

"Dramatisches Signal" - "Eilumtausch" - "Schockmeldung" - "Crashgefahr" und "jetzt alles verkaufen?"....
Panikmache pur - und morgen schreiben wieder alle: das waren gestern super Einstiegskurse.... etc. Der Wahnsinn!!

Drill holes LA07-28 and LA07-29 intersected thick intervals of mineralization. Hole number LA07-28 intersected 17.45 metres grading 0.82% nickel, 0.57% copper, 0.05% cobalt, 0.44 g/t Pt, 0.20 g/t Pd. Hole number LA07-29 intersected 17.03 metres grading 0.60% nickel, 0.35% copper, 0.02% cobalt, 1.16 g/t Pt, 0.45 g/t Pd, 0.21 g/t Au. High platinum (Pt) values were obtained in both LA07-028 and 029 and include the following:

0.63 metres grading 6.60 g/t Pt, 0.29 g/t Pd, 0.99 % Ni and 0.54% Cu in LA07-028

2.72 metres grading 4.53g/t Pt, 0.51 g/t Pd, 0.82% Ni and 0.35% Cu, in LA07-029;

including 0.73 metres grading 15.1 g/t Pt, 0.30 g/t Pd.

According to Danielle Giovenazzo, PhD, P. Geo., the Exploration Manager for the Project, "We are very encouraged by these results. In the East Deposit we continue to intersect impressive thicknesses of good grade mineralization and we are locally identifying very high grade platinum values. This mineralization remains open and there are numerous drill holes with assays pending."

Drill hole LA07-30 did not intersect significant mineralization as it was outside of the mineralized zone. Complete assays for the three holes are listed in Table 1 below.

The Las Aguilas East deposit is associated with olivine pyroxenites and peridotites in a 100 metre thick variably differentiated ultramafic intrusion. These are typical rock types associated with major nickel deposits world wide. The mineralized zone has now been outlined for more than 175 metres along strike and down to 200 metre depth. The zone remains open (see Figure 1).

The ongoing drill program is designed expand both the Las Aguilas East and West Ni-Cu-PGE deposits and provide data required to complete a NI-43-101 compliant resource estimate that includes assays for platinum group elements (PGE) which were not systematically analysed by previous explorers. The occurrence of significant platinum, palladium and gold values in addition to high nickel and copper in holes LA07-28 and 029 suggests that precious metals may provide a significant contribution to the value of the deposit.

Since the program started in early July a total of 60 drill holes totalling 9,300 meters of drilling have been completed of which assay results have only been received for 31 drill holes. Twenty nine (29) drill holes have assays pending and these will be reported on a continual basis as the data is received. The project is on track and it is expected that an initial, independent, NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate will be completed by the end of January. Turn around time for assay results has been much longer than expected due to high volumes at the laboratories, so it is possible completion of the resource estimate could be delayed for several weeks due to pending assay results. It is probable that the deposit will not be closed off at the end of this drill campaign.

The Las Aguilas East and West Deposits contain a historical resource estimate of 2.2 million tonnes grading 0.52 % Ni, 0.51 % Cu and 0.04 % Co at a 0.3% Ni cut-off grade. The resource occurs in two sulfide deposits (Las Aguilas East and West Deposits), as defined by Fabricaciones Militares in 1986, which intermittently carried out various geological, geophysical and surface drilling exploration campaigns from 1972 until 1986. This resource estimate has not been confirmed by Castillian and predates the establishment of NI 43-101 standards and is provided for information only.

Quality Control

The company employs a diligent QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0 -metre intervals or less when in the mineralized zone, and at 1.5 metres or less when in disseminated sulphides (less than 2% sulphides). Sample preparation is completed at the ALS-Chemex lab preparation lab in Mendoza, Argentina and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada, using multi-acid digest/ ICP-AES for the base metals and A.A. when Ni and Cu are over the detection limits. Platinum, palladium and gold values are determined by 30 gram fire assay with ICP-AES finish. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 to 30 samples.

The quality control and all aspects of the exploration program are supervised by Castillian exploration managers, Danielle Giovenazzo, Ph.D., PGeo, and Fernando Tallarico, Ph.D., PGeo, both of whom meet the criteria for a qualified person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

Castillian Intersects 9.75 Meters Grading 3.14% Nickel and 1.44% Copper at the Mangabal South Nickel-Copper Deposit, Brazil Within 29.4 Meters Grading 1.27% Nickel and 0.72% Copper

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 10, 2008) - Castillian Resources Corporation (Castillian) (TSX VENTURE:CT) has intersected 29.4 meters grading 1.27% nickel, 0.72% copper, and 0.04% cobalt at the Mangabal South Deposit, this intersection includes 9.75 meters grading 3.14% nickel, 1.44% copper and 0.09% cobalt and also includes 9.85 meters grading 1.32% nickel, 0.43% copper and 0.04% cobalt in diamond drillhole CRMS-07-059 (estimated true widths are given in the table below). This intersection occurs at 18 meters vertical depth and confirms the extent of the high grade zone in the upper part of the Mangabal South Deposit.

Diamond drillhole CRMS-07-048 intersected 34.2 Meters grading 0.62% Nickel, 0.33% Copper, and 0.02% cobalt including 5.55 Meters grading 1.86% Nickel, 0.94% Copper and 0.06% cobalt (estimated true widths are given in the table below).

Joel Hrominchuk, P.Geo., the project manager, states "these results demonstrate continuity of the deposit in the up dip and down dip directions while confirming the high grade core from very near to surface in drill hole CRMS-07-059 to at least 450m along the plunge in drill hole CRMS-07-048. Continued successful drilling along the dip and along the plunge of the deposit continues to increase the volume and intersect good grade mineralization and therefore should have a positive impact on the tonnes and grade of the ongoing resource calculation."

Assay results for six recently drilled holes from the Mangabal South Deposit including holes CRMS-07-041 and CRMS-07-045 are summarized in the following table (see releases dated May 16, April 24, July 4, July 24, Sept 18, and Oct 4, 2007 for previously released drill results) See Figure 1 for pierce point locations.

Assays are currently pending for eighteen additional drill holes on the Mangabal South deposit and will be reported as results become available. Castillian is currently drilling with two drill rigs on the Mangabal South Deposit.

A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 samples. Five percent of pulps are re-analyzed at SGS Laboratory Services in Belo Horizonte, Brazil or ALS Chemex Lab in Vancouver, Canada. This is the same QA/QC protocol that was employed by Falconbridge (now Xstrata) in operating the project.

The Quality Control and all aspects of the exploration program is supervised by Castillian Exploration Manager, Joel Hrominchuk, P.Geo., who is a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Marifil Mines Ltd. has results provided by its joint venture partner, Castillian Resources Corp., from 35 drill holes from the Las Aguilas West deposit, located 40 kilometres north of San Luis, Argentina. Marifil holds a 35-per-cent interest in the project and is carried through to production.

Values of up to 5.66 grams per tonne platinum have been intersected, and values exceeding 0.5 g/t platinum and palladium were intersected over significant widths in almost every drill hole. Fifteen holes from the West deposit contain samples that exceed one g/t platinum.

John Hite, president of Marifil, states: "We are very pleased with the way this project is rapidly growing. Drilling has defined the West deposit over a strike length of 375 metres and prospecting suggests this could be expanded to a total length of 825 m. Marifil's Las Aguilas East Nickel-Copper-Platinum-Palladium Deposit Continues to Expand
Values of Greater than 1 g/t Platinum in Five of Seven Holes Reported
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 12, 2008) - Marifil Mines Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MFM) is pleased to announce assay results provided by its JV partner Castillian Resources from the final seven diamond drill holes completed in 2007 at the Las Aguilas East nickel-copper-platinum-palladium deposit, San Luis Province, Argentina (Figure 1). Five of these holes reported sample values exceeding 1.0 g/t platinum.

Drill hole LA07-063 intersected 7.00 metres grading 1.11% nickel, 0.45% copper, 0.04% cobalt, 0.50 g/t platinum and 0.68 g/t palladium and includes a 1 metre interval grading 2.01 g/t platinum and 0.27 g/t palladium. The deposit remains open for further expansion at this time (see Figures 2 and 3 - plan map and longitudinal section for locations). Results from the seven drill holes are summarized in Table 1 below.

The Las Aguilas East deposit has now been outlined for more than 200 metres along strike and to a 225 metre vertical depth. The mineralized zone shows a steep plunge to the south and remains open to the south and at depth (see Figure 3). Drill hole intercepts are spaced approximately 25 metres apart (Figure 2 - plan and Figure 3 - long section). A total of 67 holes were completed on the Las Aguilas East and West deposits in 2007 totalling 11,028 metres. Of these, 31 holes were drilled at the Las Aguilas East deposit totalling 5,817 metres.

A preliminary resource estimate is in progress; however, because the deposits remain open a complete resource estimate can not be completed until after the resource delineation is completed and the limits of the deposits have been established. Drilling will resume on the extensions of the West and East deposits as well as a number of regional targets in mid March.

The project is an option joint venture whereby Castillian may earn up to a 65 percent interest in the property from Marifil (see press release dated March 5, 2007).

Quality Control

The company employs a diligent QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and then one half of the NQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0-metre intervals or less when in the mineralized zone, and at 1.5 metres or less when in disseminated sulphides (less than 2 percent sulphides). Sample preparation is completed at the ALS-Chemex lab preparation lab in Mendoza, Argentina and assayed at ALS-Chemex lab in Vancouver, Canada, using multi-acid digest/ICP-AES for the base metals and A.A. when nickel and copper are over the detection limits. Platinum, palladium and gold values are determined by 30 gram fire assay with ICP-AES finish. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 to 30 samples.

The quality control and all aspects of the exploration program are supervised by Castillian exploration manager, Danielle Giovenazzo, Ph.D., PGeo, who meets the criteria for a qualified person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.
