SEGUE PARDOO MAGNETITE PROJECT ASSAY RESULTS


Highway
o Diamond hole DD08-HW004 intersected 120m @ 28.7% Fe, of magnetite from 30.3m
hosted within a gabbroic unit. The hole ended in mineralisation.

o RC hole RC10–HW001 intersected 21m @ 33.7% Fe, of magnetite from 33m. Mineralisation
is hosted within a gabbroic unit and the hole ended in mineralisation.

Supply Well
o Diamond hole DD10-SW001 returned 3m @ 61.2% Fe, from 105m and 3m @ 65.3% Fe,
from 162m. Both intercepts were through low impurity hematite.

o DD10–SW001 also intersected 22m @ 37.9% Fe, of gabbro hosted magnetite from 215m.

Drilling program and results have significantly extended Segue’s structural and
lithological knowledge of the iron and magnetite mineralisation.

Pardoo Iron Ore – 100% Segue Resources Limited

Segue's Pardoo magnetite project is located approximately 120km east of Port Hedland and 15km from the coast. The project is close to other key infrastructure including an “open” railway, gas and electric power. Abundant good quality ground water is also available from the Canning Basin immediately to the north.

The tenements are highly prospective for iron ore buried magnetite iron.
Pardoo Iron Ore Mineralisation Targets:

* "Highway" Buried Magnetite Mineralisation:
The target at Highway is magnetite in a gabbroic intrusive starting from ~20m depth with simple geometry. Historic drill intersections include, 120m @ 26.4% Fe from 30m, (DD08-HW004), 27m @ 29.0% Fe from 23m, (RC93_GW049). Davis Tube Recovery results from old core (Mithril 2008) are expected in early 2011. The target is ~100m wide with a strike >5kms long.
* "Supply Well" Buried Magnetite Mineralisation:
In the far east of the Project area previous drilling by CRA intersected a wide zone of intense magnetite mineralisation. The mineralisation is hosted within an intensely altered shear zone that is now composed of magnetite cummingtonite hornblende schists. One historical diamond drill hole (DD90-SW9) penetrated a significant thickness of the schist. This drill hole returned an intersection of 257m @ 30% Fe. Inspection of the aeromagnetic image for the area shows that the magnetite mineralisation extends for approximately 10kms and appears to be at least 100m thick (maximum estimated thickness >500m) over the entire length.

Recent Iron Ore Exploration and Evaluation

Initial diamond core metallurgical test work was recently conducted from historical core at the Pardoo Magnetite Project. Preliminary Davis Tube Recovery (DTR) test work on seven drill core samples show results obtained from the magnetic concentrate with grades of up to 69.1% Fe. The full test results are shown in Table 1.

Notes:
Davis Tube Recovery (DTR) samples consist of 1m intervals of ¼ HQ Diamond Drill Core. The drill core is historic in nature and has been exposed to weathering and the results obtained from test work can only be used as an indicative guide as weathering may have acted to reduce the magnetic susceptibility of magnetic minerals contained within the drill core. DTR's were conducted on the basis of an initial grind time of 120 seconds followed by screening at 38 micron and subsequent regrinding as per specifications. LOI is by thermo-gravimetric method at 1000°C. Assayed of Fe, SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Na2O, K2O, TiO2, P and S was by fused disc, XRF ICP methods. Fe3O4 was by Satmagan and Fe (ll) by titration.


During May 2010 seven drill core samples were taken from one diamond drill hole, (DD90SW009shown in Figures 2 and 3) completed by CRA Exploration Pty Ltd (CRAE) in 1990, for DTR test work. The hole, DD90SW009, was drilled 20 years ago as part of a base metal exploration program (2.4m @ 1.36% Ni was intersected nearby) but rather than base metals, the hole intersected magnetite mineralisation which assayed 257m @ 30% Fe from 98m.

The DTR test work on the partially weathered drill core was completed to determine the optimum grind size and final concentrate specifications of the magnetite mineralisation. The results show that the material between 120m and 176m is characterised by an average recovered iron grade of 68.1% Fe and low sulphur content (average 0.06% S). The results also indicate generally low impurities throughout. The DTR test work has confirmed the potential of producing a marketable concentrate with minimal contaminants at a grind of 80% passing 25 microns.

The SEG Board was encouraged by these initial results and embarked on a diamond drilling campaign to collect additional core for further DTR test-work. The diamond drilling is now completed and was designed to test the mineralisation in more favourable positions away from the known sulphide mineralisation. Assay and DTR test results are expected in late 2010 and early 2011.

Wenn du mich da mal nicht überschätzt?!

Meine Gründe sind:
Die aktuellen Bohrergebnisse,
der aktuelle Kurs,
das anstehende JV mit Korea Res Corp
und die Optionen zu 8 ct, die Ende November ausgeübt werden können.
Ausserdem ist das Umfeld in Ordnung wie das Management und die Infrastruktur.

Eine Anfrage meinerseits bei Segue ist unterwegs, ich erwarte die Antwort.
Die Prozentangaben in den Bohrergebnissen sehen ja gut aus, aber sagen mir auch nicht genug aus. Es fehlt eine Vergleichsmöglichkeit mit bekannter Erzqualität / aktuellem Preis.

ALS Laboratory Group (ALS) conducted 35 DTR tests on five metre composite samples of magnetic
gabbro obtained from two diamond drill holes and one reverse circulation hole.

The material submitted for DTR testing was pulverised such that the particle size was less than 38
micron (nominally 80% passing 25 micron). The concentrate grade (XRF analysis) and mass recovery
obtained from the DTR testing are set out in Table 1.


The test results have been analysed resulting in the following conclusions:

 Concentrate mass recovery from the gabbro is generally low, averaging 14% for the samples
as a whole with a range from 1% to 38%. The majority of the recovery results lie between
10% to 20%;
 Concentrate mass recovery is poorer in near surface iron enriched zones where magnetite has
been oxidised by the enrichment process;
 Below the enriched zone, mass recovery is positively correlated with the sample head grade;
and
 The concentrate grade is influenced by the magmatic origins of the gabbro. The average
concentrate grade is 66.0 %Fe, 2.84 %SiO2, 0.32 % Al2O3, 0.0037 %P, 0.58 %MgO, 2.85 %TiO2,
0.33 %V, 0.34 %S and -2.22 %LOI.

FOR THE HALF-YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2010
NOTE 5: COMMITMENTS AND CONTINGENCIES

The Company has been notified by the Department of Mines & Petroleum
(Department) that its application for exemption from expenditure on tenement
E45/3383 failed to satisfy the requirements of the Mining Act 1978. The
Company has therefore received a notice of intention of forfeiture. E45/3383 is
one of four contiguous tenements which make up the Pardoo Project and was
added to the combined reporting group C32/2005 Highway/Supply Well on the
18/11/2010. Had the tenement been included in the combined reporting group
within the reporting period, the exemption would have been granted on the
basis that aggregate project expenditure had been met. The Company has
provided submissions to the Department detailing why the tenement should not
be forfeited and a determination by the Minister will provided shortly.

Since the last annual reporting date, there has been no material changes to any
commitments and contingincies.
NOTE 6: EVENTS AFTER THE BALANCE SHEET DATE

On 7 January 2011 Mithril withdrew from the Mithril JV to focus on their other
100% owned exploration projects. As a consequence of Mithril’s withdrawal
from the Mithril JV Segue formed a subsidiary called Red October that, subject
to a successful ASX listing, will farm-in to the nickel and non-iron ore mineral
rights at the Company’s Pardoo Project.

On 21 February 2011 the Company advised that Red October had completed a
seed capital raising of $660,000 by way of issuing 6,600,000 Non-redeemable
Converting Preference Shares. The Company also advised that Mr Ross
Smith, Mr Ross Nairn and Dr Saliba Sassine had been appointed to the board
of Red October.

Subsequent to the balance date Red October issued 10,000,000 performance
shares to Mr Ross Smith and 2,000,000 options exercisable at 20 cents on or
before 1 January 2013 to Mr Bevan Tarratt.

Red October lodged its IPO Prospectus with ASIC on 4 March 2011. Red
October will seek to raise approximately $3.5 million via the issue of 17,500,000
ordinary shares at 20 cents per share. The Company will offer minimum parcels
of 10,000 shares to the shareholders of Segue on a priority basis up to a
maximum of 2,000,000 shares who are registered shareholders of the Company
as at 21 March 2011.

No other matter or circumstance has arisen since 31 December 2010 that has
significantly affected, or may significantly affect the operations of the Company,
the results of those operations, or the state of affairs of the Company in future
financial years.

Segue will seine nicht Eisenerzmineralien ausgliedern und hat Redoctoberan die Börse gebracht.
Hält aber immer ca. 35 % an Redoctober.
Segue will nun das Eisenerzprogramm mit seinen Koreanischen Partner vorantreiben.
In den nächsten 6-8 Monaten dürfte das Projekt dann stehen.
Es ist halt Gedult angesagt.

Da gebe ich Dir Recht.....finde ich auch ziemlich bescheiden. Zumal die Zusammenarbeit seitens des Konsortiums beendet wurde. Wenn es anderes herunm gewesen wäre, kann man ja evtl. jemand in der Hinterhand haben, aber so.....

Überlege auszusteigen und den Erlös auch noch in IDO zu investieren.

Ich hoffe das Atlas das Gebiet übernimmt liegt ja mittendrinn ist halt eine Frage
des Preises das Gebiet besizt doch eine sehr gute Infrastruktur ich verstehe
es nicht das hier nichts läuft.

Wie angekündigt schau ich mir das erst mal von der Seitenlinie an. Bin einen Tag nach meinem letzten post kplt.raus. Vermute, dass wir noch tiefere Kurse sehen, sofern nicht schon wirklich was im Hintergrund läuft. Bleibt aber auf jeden Fall auf meiner watch!

Erledigt sich damit evtl. unser Enttäuschungsgrund?
Leider bin auch ich ausgestiegen.
Hatte woanders ein besseres Chance/Risiko-Verhältnis gesehen (Metrocoal ).

@Monte, dir wünsche ich weiter ein gutes Händchen. Werde hier weiter beobachten, bin aber leider nicht mehr flüssig für einen evtl. Wiedereinstieg auf niedrigerem Niveau.

Well it looks like a good deal to me. Current value of around 20c per share (at sale value), in a project that will certainly gain a lot in value once mining starts and the institutions want to grab a stake. That should value SER somewhere near 25-28c per share given SER's other assets and opportunities once the Mega IPO gets off the ground. Even if it doesn't, at least we have a good market valuation on the current value of Uley as it sits pre-mining. At least with this offer all holders can continue to participate in the adventure if they wish by holding both lots of shares, or divest the bit they are not so keen on. I think I'll be holding onto both if it eventuates. Uley has lots of upside with graphite in car batteries, and I'm still waiting for SER to get into Cultana! I'll make my first million with that one I'm sure! Well, if they find it is a big new Olympic Dam anyway...

..hat nicht geklappt mit dem Ausstieg....zum Glüc k...Limit war zu hoch angesetzt.....schöner Aufwärtstrend jetzt wie bei allen Irons.....mit Grange ein geduldig arbeitendes Pferd im Stall..........
