Stellar Pacific Ventures Intersects 25 Meters of 2.55 g/t Gold at the Solotomo Discovery, Guinea West Africa

Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the first assay results of a systematic drilling campaign carried out on the SOLOTOMO gold discovery which is located in the center of the Company's 735 km(2)Balandougou Project in Guinea West Africa.

The first four reverse circulation holes returned large intersections of economic grades in B-1 and B-3 anomalies, including results of 2.55 g/t Au over 25 meters in hole B1-12 and 3.66 g/t Au over 9 meters in hole B3-33.

Grades and width are concordant with the results obtained in the trenches previously announced.

A series of drill sections on a 50-metre spacing grid were completed over the original gold discovery (reference: Stellar Pacific Ventures press release in Stockwatch news dated 2010-09-08).

A total of 120 holes were drilled to an average depth of 70 metres on four (4) extensive gold in soil anomalies, namely, anomalies B1 to B4. (See Fig on the following link: http://file.marketwire.com/release/GEOCH_FOR_2011.jpg

Anomalies B1 to B4 are located just east of the Solotomo artisan mine site and are part of a system of NW/SE and NE/SW structures. Geological observation from trenches suggest that the gold mineralisation on the Solotomo discovery occurs in quartz - carbonate veins hosted within a well preserved and very deformed Sericite schist trending NW and dipping to the East. One form of disseminated alteration most commonly noted in oxidized rocks is quartz-sericite-pyrite (QSP) alteration. This alteration type is not distinctly different in coloration in fresh core and is thus difficult to detect in that state. Surface weathering converts the sericite to white kaolinite creating a bright white color alteration distinguishable even at great distance when exposed in trenches, artisan diggings and drill pads. This kind of alteration is evident in the proximity of the Solotomo artisan pits and the white kaolinite is visible from great distance.

Soil geochemistry is proven to be the most efficient exploration method used to find large gold deposits in a lateritic geological environment. A majority of gold deposits in West Africa has been outlined by this method. Gold anomalies can be very low grade, a few tenths of a gram, generally, which represents an important indicator. In the case of Solotomo area, the company has found numerous soil samples grading over 1.0 g/t Au and up to 13.8 g/t Au. In many cases, soil geochemistry signature reflects the deposits found underneath those anomalies.

Direct observation of the gold geochemistry of the area suggests the presence of two different sets of structures oriented north 70 degrees east and north 120 degrees east. Higher grades seems to be associated with the north 120 degrees east structures, and possibly with the intersection of both structures as it looks to be the case for the Solotomo mineralized stockworks.

ABOUT BALANDOUGOU PROPERTY:

The Balandougou property is located 100 kilometers to the North of Siguiri, in Upper Guinea, close to the Mali border. It is composed of four contiguous permits covering an extensive area of 606 km(2)in Guinea and of the NAMARANA Permit covering 132 Km(2)adjacent and across the boarder on Mali side.

In 2007, GoldenFrank Resources Inc., now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc., bought an 80% interest in the property and signed an option to buy the remaining 20% from the Guinean counterpart. Further, the Company has optioned 51% of the Guinea portfolio to Ultragold Holding LLP of Denver Co in consideration of Ultragold expending US$ 1,5 million in exploration work on the Balandougou Property.

To date, more than US$ 2.0 million has been spent in exploration work by the JV partners and the following work has been completed:



-- Compilation, geological reconnaissance and sampling of main gold
occurrences by RSW Inc, and NI 43-101 compliant Independent Person
Assessment Report completed.
-- 5,000 metres of RC drilling over 3 different targets done in 2009.
-- Data consolidation of a regional soil geochemistry covering most of the
Property at a scale of 1000 m X 80 m sampling grid.
-- Detailed soil geochemistry at a scale of 200 m X 50 m sampling grid over
an area of 65 Km(2)(+/- 6,500 samples) Solotomo Area.
-- A 5 trenches program over best gold anomalies and channel sampling of
all trenches in Solotomo Area.
-- 8,000 metres of RC drilling to test 4 gold anomalies which has returned
economic values



Although the emphasis has been on the impressive Solotomo gold anomalies, it is important to note that a dozen more gold in soil anomalies and gold occurrences on the property need further investigation. Gold occurrences like Keniebani, Mawren and Fadaninda all show extensive quartz veins systems with visible gold and some sampling of quartz veins returned impressive results as stated in the NI-43-101 assessment Report

On the Niagassola permit, the main gold occurrence is the Keniebani Artisan gold mine. This active gold digging site extends for at least 800 metres along a major quartz veins system. The veins are estimated to strike N 55 degrees E with a sub vertical dip. Eight quartz blocks samples collected on this site yielded gold values ranging between 7.2 and 465 g/t Au.

East of the Keniebani artisanal mine site, a quartz vein is exposed in a trench on the side of a hill, where grab samples returned grades of 2.26 and 20.7 g/t Au.

On the SOCOSGUI permit, ten (10) gold occurrences were visited. Three (3) of them (Fadaninda, Mawren and Solotomo) are considered as high priority targets.

Fadaninda consists of a quartz vein estimated to strike N10 degrees E with a subvertical dip. Two samples collected on this site yielded 62.0 and 108.0 g/t Au. Mawren is a quartz vein estimated to strike N25 degrees E with a subvertical dip. A sample from the artisan mine tailings returned 154 g/t Au.

At Solotomo, artisanal digging exposes a stockwork of quartz veinlets in a fine grained granitic rock and the overlying laterite. Three samples collected on this occurrence gave 33.9, 21.1 and 12.3 g/t Au.

The company also owned a major interest in the Siguiri, Saraya and Mandiana Permits, covering 361 km(2)bringing their land position in Guinea to an extensive 1099 km(2)of prolific gold terrain.

Stellar Pacific Ventures Farm-in Namarana Gold Licence in Mali, West Africa

Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") announces the signature of an Option Agreement with Tali-Mines SARL, to acquire 100% of the NAMARANA Gold Licence in Mali, West Africa.

The Namarana Licence covers an area of 132 km2 in the Kangaba Circle, approximately 150 Km south-west of Bamako, the capital city of Mali. The property is at a two-hour drive from Bamako and is easily accessible by road.

The area of the Namarana Permit lies within the Birimian Formations, which hosts most of the large gold deposits of the sub-region. The permit area is covered by a regional geochemistry survey done in 1995. A work compilation by Tali-Mines concluded in the presence of 13 gold anomalies ready to follow up. Tali report also mentions the presence of numerous artisan gold digging sites throughout the property.

The NAMARANA permit in Mali consists in the N-E geological extension of the Balandougou mineralized structures in Guinea where Stellar holds a substantial land position. This new area can be developed using the company's facilities in place.

The Namarana licence is currently at a renewal stage and upon completion, Stellar Pacific Ventures will have the option to acquire 100% of the licence by paying $US 60,000 and spending $US 500,000 over a period of three years.

The cash payment and exploration expenditure commitment will be done according to the following schedule:

Stellar Pacific Ventures Drills 18.36 g/t Gold Over 1.0 Meters at Monster Lake, Chibougamau

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Feb. 23, 2011 (Marketwire) --

Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") announces drill results on Monster Lake Project in Chibougamau Quebec. Hole M-16-10 cuts 5.54 g/t gold over 4.6 metres including 1.0 meter grading 18.36 g/t gold. The mineralized zone has been cut between depth of 38.8 to 50.6 metre totalling 11.8 metre grading 2.44 g Au/t.

Hole M-16-10 was drilled to confirm the vertical extension of newly discovered "Showing 325" where surface channel sampling done by the company in the summer 2010 program reported grades of 7.26 g Au

1.6 m, and 2.10 g Au

2.1 metre.

It is also important to note that Hole M-16-10 is located just 100 meters north of Hole M-18-10 announced 2011-02-01. Hole M18-10 also cuts a substantial 5 meters zones grading 5.38 g Au over 5.0m including 11.3 gAu over 1.0m and 8.6 g Au over 2.0 m.

we are aware of the coarse nature of the gold contained in the Monster Structure and, for a more comprehensive analysis of gold in rock/core, the company selected the Pulp Metallic procedure for 185 samples, all selected from the mineralized shear zone. This procedure is able to partially overcome the "Nugget Effect" of gold by increasing the sub-sample size to 1,000g and physically collecting the free gold within the system using a 150 mesh (106 micron) sieve. This procedure is most effective when the whole sample is used for the analysis. The sub-sample is pulverized to approx.90% -150 mesh (106 micron) and subsequently sieved through a 150-mesh (106 micron) screen. The entire +150 metallic portion is assayed along with two duplicate sub-samples of the -150 pulp portion. Results are reported as a weighted average of gold in the entire sample. A comparison of the results will be made with conventional analysis to determine future analytical method to be applied"

The Company will provide more drill results as they come available in the following weeks. After compilation of the current campaign, the company will undertake a second 3,000 metres drilling phase with the objective of calculating a gold resources before the end of 2011.

ABOUT MONSTER LAKE PROPERTY

The Monster Lake property is located 44 kilometers South-West of the town of Chibougamau in northern Quebec. It is easily accessible by road and has a major power line nearby. From 1984 to 1995 SOQUEM drilled 142 holes for nearly 20,000 meters of diamond drill core and excavated several trenches along this 4 kilometer long mineralized corridor. Before the current drilling, there were more than 45 known intersections of greater than 1 g/t Au from drill core or channel samples. The 3 principal showings, Eratix, Zone IV & III and Zone 52, have been drilled at 50 meter line spacing, but for the most part with only one hole per section, leaving several now economic intersections wide open, along strike and at depth. At current gold prices, many of these gold intersections which in the mid-1990's were not judged economical at $US300.00 per ounce, now become very promising.

April 14, 2011 - 01:46:41 PM MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 14, 2011) - Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SPX) has entered into an agreement with D&D Securities Inc. (the "Agent") in respect of a brokered private placement financing, consisting of up to 16,666,667 units (the "Units"), at a purchase price of $0.12 per Unit, to raise total gross proceeds of up to $2,000,000 (the "Private Placement") on a commercially reasonable effort basis for accredited investors only.

Each Unit will be comprised of one common share at a price of $0.12 per share and one common share purchase warrant. Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. Transfers Its Quebec Mineral Assets and Proceeds With A Shareholder Distribution

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the « Corporation ») reports that it has entered into a Letter of Intent with Carbon2Green ("C2G"), a public corporation listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, whereby C2G will acquire three mining properties from Stellar, comprised of 143 mining claims located in Chibougamau, Val d'Or and the Urban Township in NorthWest Quebec (collectively referred to as the "Properties") (hereinafter the "Transaction"). In connection with this Transaction, C2G will change its name to TomaGold. In accordance with the TSX Venture policies the Transaction will be deemed a Change of Business for C2G and will be considered Reviewable Transaction for Stellar. The Transaction is not a related party transaction.

In exchange of the Properties, TomaGold will issue at the closing of the Transaction, 22,000,000 class A shares (the "Common Shares" or the "Shares") of its share capital to Stellar (post consolidation), at the deemed price of 0.15$ per Share for a total consideration of $3,300,000. As part of the Transaction, Stellar will have to spend approximately $700,000 in mining expenditures on the Properties before the end of 2011. As a closing condition, TomaGold will have to complete a concurrent private placement to raise a minimum of $750,000 and a maximum of $1,500,000, the whole being subject to regulatory approval.

Maurice Giroux, CEO of Stellar Pacific and Qualified Person in accordance with NI 43-101 adds: "Management of Stellar has decided to pursue this reorganisation to efficiently develop the Corporation's assets located in both West Africa and Quebec. A the closing of the Transaction, Stellar will distribute to its shareholders, in proportion with their current shareholding in Stellar, a minimum of 16,500,000 Shares of TomaGold, representing 75% of the Shares received. This distribution will be realized as a "return of capital" in the form of the Shares. The shareholders of record of Stellar, on the day preceeding the closing of the Transaction will be eligible to receive the Shares. This "return of capital" will be subject to shareholder approval to be obtained by special resolution (approval of 66.2/3%).

Private Placement

The resulting issuer intends to complete a private placement concurrent with the Transaction for a minimum amount of $750,000 and a total of a maximum of $1,500,000 (the "Private Placement).

Pro forma capitalisation

Following the consolidation of the shares in a 5 for 1 ratio announced during the shareholders' annual assembly of C2G February 11, 2011 and once the Transaction and the Private Placement are completed, a maximum aggregate of 38,093,174 post consolidation Common Shares shall be issued and outstanding. The current shareholders of Carbon2Green shall hold an aggregate of 5,904,285 post consolidation Common Shares (15,50% of the Common Shares), Stellar and its shareholders shall hold an aggregate of 22,000,000 Common Shares (57,75% of the Common Shares), the investors subscribing under the Private Placement shall hold a maximum of 8,888,889 Common Shares (23,33% of the Common Shares) and a minimum of 1,300,000 Common Shares at $0.15 per Common Share will be issued as finder's fee (3.41% of the Common Shares).

Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") is pleased to announce more drill results on extensive B-1 and B-3 zones on the SOLOTOMO gold discovery located in the center of the Company's 735 km2 Balandougou Project in Guinea West Africa.

The Hole # B1-12, after compiling all results returned an intersection of 1.64 gAu/t over a length of 47 metres. This intersection includes 3.26 g Au/t over 15 metres and 2.48 gAu/t over 25 metres. The gold mineralization of this zone, as observed in trench CQ-1, is contained in a wide shear zone injected with metric quartz veins and quarts veinlets also mineralized, which explains the width of the intersection. The metric size quartz veins as observed and sampled in thench # CQ-1 are high grades and returned values as 24.3 gAu/t.

Also in Zone B-3, hole # B3-33 intersects 19 meters of 2.30 g Au/t from the surface down to 19 m deep. The intersection includes 6 metres of 5.69 g Au/t and 9 metres of 4.52 g Au/t. Hole # B3-27 intersects 10 metres at 2.0 g Au/t including 4 metres of 4.24 g Au/t.

The B-3 gold structure have now been drill tested over a distance of 700 metres and remains open in all directions.

Mr. Maurice Giroux, President and CEO of the company and a Qualified Person as defined in NI 43-101 regulation quoted "Off the current drill program, there are about 20% of results still to come out of SGS Siguiri Laboratory. The company will keep informing shareholders on the upcoming results as they are available and will wait until receiving all results to compile and conclude on the current program. At this point, we are very happy with the drill results obtained on anomalies B-3 and B-1 which both show wide and extensive gold mineralized zones. To date, we have only investigated on the oxide part of those structures and a core drilling program will be envisage at short term to confirm the structure at depth. With the positive drill results of the Solotomo artisan diggings site announced 04-19-2011, zones B-1and B-3, we have now 3 potential gold zones in a 2.5 km environment".

Anomalies B1 to B4 represents a large gold system located just east of the Solotomo artisan mine site and are part of a system of NW/SE and NE/SW structures. Geological observation from trenches suggest that the gold mineralisation on the Solotomo discovery occurs in quartz - carbonate veins hosted within a well preserved and very deformed Sericite schist trending NW and dipping to the East. One form of disseminated alteration most commonly noted in oxidized rocks is quartz-sericite-pyrite (QSP) alteration. This alteration type is not distinctly different in coloration in fresh core and is thus difficult to detect in that state. Surface weathering converts the sericite to white kaolinite creating a bright white color alteration distinguishable even at great distance when exposed in trenches, artisan diggings and drill pads. This kind of alteration is evident in the proximity of the Solotomo artisan pits and the white kaolinite is visible from great distance.

Stellar Pacific Ventures Resumes Drilling on Monster Lake, Chibougamau Quebec

(TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") announces the beginning of the second phase of drilling on some of the gold showings of the Monster Lake property in Chibougamau mining camp Quebec.

This drill program is made in accordance with Stellar's commitment towards Carbon2Green Agreement to spend $700,000 of flow through money on the Quebec Properties before the end of 2011.

This Phase II program consists of 20 to 25 holes totalling 2,500 to 3,000 metres. The program will test extensions of zones Megane, 52, 325, Nouvelle and Eratix. Zones Megane, 52 and 325 reported good gold intersections in previous drilling done in January and February 2011 by the company and will be tested at depth.

Hole M-16-10 at Showing 325 cuts 5.54 g/t gold over 4.6 metres including 1.0 meter grading 18.36 g/t gold. The mineralized zone has been cut between depths of 38.8 to 50.6 metre totalling 11.8 metre grading 2.44 g Au/t. This hole was drilled to confirm the vertical extension of newly discovered "Showing 325" where surface channel sampling done by the company in the summer 2010 program reported grades of 7.26 g Au

1.6 m, and 2.10 g Au

2.1 metre.

Hole M-18-10 located 100 metres South West of surface showing Zone 325 cut a 5 metres zones grading 5.38 g Au / 5,0m including 11.3 g Au /1,0m and 8.6 g Au / 2,0 m. The mineralized structure at depth is consistent with the surface showings and consists of silicified schist containing 3 to 15% sulphide mainly Pyrite and Pyrotite with minor Chalcopyrite.

As previously announced, Stellar has signed a Letter of Intent to sell its Quebec assets to Carbon2green who will change name and become Toma Gold Corporation. The selling price of the Quebec properties was established at $3,300,000 which will be payable through the issuance of 22,000,000 shares of Carbon2Green Corporation, at the deemed price of $0.15 per share, at the closing of the transaction. As part of the agreement, Stellar will have to spend approximately $700,000 in exploration expenses on the sold properties. This will assure that Stellar fulfills its obligations in regards to the previously completed flow-through financing. Pursuant to the transaction, Carbon2Green will change its name to TomaGold Corporation. It is a condition of the sale that TomaGold complete a financing of a minimum amount of $750,000 and the maximum amount of $1,500,000.

Once the sale is completed, Stellar will distribute a minimum of 16,000,000 shares of TomaGold received, to its shareholders, representing approximately 75% of such shares received (the "Distribution"). This Distribution will be considered a return of capital in the form of the distributed shares and a reduction in the Company's stated capital will take place. The Distribution is subject to the passing of a special resolution which requires 66 2/3% of the votes cast. Stellar Pacific Ventures Samples 48.4 g Au / T on Namarana and Updates on Exploration Results in Mali, West Africa

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 14, 2011) - Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") is providing an update on the NAMARANA PROJECT exploration in Mali and will follow soon with an update on the ongoing exploration program on the BALANDOUGOU / SOLOTOMO PROJECT in Guinea.

The Namarana Project is a 120 km2 Prospection Authorization awarded to Stellar Pacific Mali SARL, a 100% Stellar Pacific Ventures subsidiary. The Namarana Project is adjacent and to the East of the Balandougou Project on the Mali side of the Guinea/Mali border.

Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. has entered into a joint venture agreement with Newmont Ventures Ltd., a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corp., whereby Newmont and Stellar will jointly participate in the exploration of the Namarana property in Mali and seek to acquire additional properties within the area. (2011-08-29, Stellar Pacific enters Namarana JV with Newmont)

The exploration and evaluation of the potential of the property by NEWMONT's geologists is progressing well and a first «Report of Activities» has been produced and presented to Stellar.

To date, stream sediments sampling by the BLEG method has been completed on the property as well as a rock sampling of an artisan mine site located in the centre of the property.

A total of 21 BLEG samples were taken, processed and sent to NEWMONT's laboratory in Perth in Australia. The results obtained showed anomalous gold values of greater then 2,6 ppb Au over the whole Permit and identified four different anomalous gold source within the Permit.

A total of 19 rock samples were collected within the area of an artisan mine site. Mafic volcanic rocks, sericite schists and volcano-sedimentary rocks oriented N140°to N170° were identified on the site. Four (4) significant gold value were obtained, namely 48.4 g Au / T obtained from an oxidized and brachiated quartz veins.

In conclusion to the significant BLEG results and not less significant rock samples results, Newmont have decided to push forward the exploration of Namarana Property and to proceed with an airborne Magnetic and Radiometric survey over the entire property. The survey has been done by Xcalbur Geophysics, a South African Company. The survey followed N-S flight lines spaced 100 metres.

The field portion of the survey has been completed on November 6th and interpretation of the data will follow. The interpretation of the airborne survey will allow a better orientation of the subsequent exploration phases that will consist in geochemistry, trenching and drilling of the best targets as well as a detailed mapping of anomalous zones.

Stellar Pacific is pleased the way the evaluation of Namarana Project is progressing in Mali. The Airborne Survey will add significantly to the data base and will provide, in association to the BLEG results, valuable targets to follow up.

Undervalued!!

This company is extremely undervalued.

With the spinoff happening soon, that should unlock some value. Moreover, the property in Guniea is pretty good and has had good drill results in the past.

As of October they have started a 13,000 meter drill programme and i am quite confident they will be able to get some decent results. SPX should be trading at least at 0.14-0.17 cents a share.

Let see what brings till end Dec. I bet it will be in this range.

BALANDOUGOU GOLD PROJECT IN GUINEA

In the meantime, the Company is further developing the potential of the BALANDOUGOU Project in Guinea West Africa. Soil sampling over two grids covering extensive magnetic anomalies in the Fadaninda area has just been completed. More than 650 soil and rock samples have been sent to SGS Siguiri's Siguiri's laboratory and results are expected shortly. The northernmost anomaly outlines the western extension of the Fadaninda artisan mine over more than two kilometres.

Fadaninda is an active gold digging site, in hard rock. Artisan diggers exploit an extensive system of auriferous quartz veins. The veins strike N 80 degrees E with a steep dip to the south. It was not possible to evaluate the thickness of the veins from the limited exposure in the pits. However, the amount of quartz material extracted from the pits is impressive. Visible gold is frequently observed in the quartz blocks brought to the surface by the artisanal miners

The gold at Fadaninda appears to be associated with black manganese oxides along fracture planes in the brittle quartz. The host rock is a Birimian argillic schist. The two samples collected by Dr. Pierre Trudel during his 2007 mission to this site returned high gold values of 108 and 62 g/t Au respectively (samples 07-FA-21 and 22). Two other samples, collected by the Guinean geologists N'Faly Camara and Monsomba Camara during a previous mission, also yielded significant gold values of 35.8 and 16.8 g/t Au respectively (samples FD2 and FD3).

The southernmost magnetic anomaly subject to a detailed soil sampling is very similar to the Fadaninda anomaly and also coincides with some important artisan gold digging activities.

Something to think about...


Stellar owns 22 Million shares of Toma Gold (V.LOT). With Toma having a market cap of around 35 Million, Stellar should trade north of 16 Million market cap just based on Toma's shares.

Moreover, you get african properties upside for free which is getting zero value right now and Toma's shares at a discount to where they are trading.


Either i am missing something or the market is... I guess market is just waiting for the spin off date to come nearer........

I am a holder of Stellar and looking forward to getting Toma's spin off shares...

No fractional shares of TomaGold will be issued and any fractions of a share will be rounded to the nearest whole number of common shares provided that not more than 16,500,000 common shares of TomaGold will be distributed. No action is required to be taken by the shareholder; all registered shareholders will receive a physical share certificate representing the TomaGold shares to their registered address and non-registered shareholders will receive their shares in book-entry form, directly in their account.

(TSX VENTURE:SPX) ("Stellar" or the "Company") and a Qualified Person as defined in NI 43-101, is pleased to report that significant results were obtained from the evaluation of the gold potential of the Namarana exploration licence in Mali, West Africa.

The Namarana permit is 100% owned by Stellar Pacific Ventures Inc. and covers an area of 120 km2.


The initial program consisted of a stream sediment sampling by the BLEG method and a rock sampling of outcropping structures in artisan mine sites located within the boundary of the permit. The BLEG method has identified four anomalous gold sources, including two anomalous Au values of 6.86 ppb and 10.52 ppb, which represent priority targets within the permit area.

A total of 23 rock samples were collected in the area of the Kandane artisan mine site. Mafic volcanic rocks, sericite schists and volcano-sedimentary rocks oriented N140° to N170° were identified on the site. Four (4) significant gold values were obtained, including 48.4 g Au/t obtained from an oxidized and brachiated quartz vein.

For a better comprehension and interpretation of geology and structures, an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey was completed over the property. The survey consisted in flying over the entire property at a line spacing of 100 metres along north-south flight lines. A total of 1,175 line kilometres of survey have been flown to cover the area.

The interpretation of the geophysical data, combined with field observations, led to a preliminary geological and structural map.

This interpretation map shows that the Kandane artisan mine site is closely associated with a small intrusion of probable diorite nature and a set of structures running NE-SW and NW-SE. Even if a soil geochemistry survey grid over this area did not show strong gold anomalies, the presence of high-grade quartz veins and an extensive artisan gold digging site justify a further investigation of the area.

In the first quarter of 2013, the Company plans to start a more detailed mapping and sampling of the Kandane digging site, followed by a trenching program and some RC drilling on the most favourable targets...........

STELLAR AFRICAGOLD REPORTS THE DISCOVERY OF TWO NEW SIGNIFICANT GOLD ZONES AT BALANDOUGOU, GUINEA WEST AFRICA

Stellar AfricaGold Inc. has discovered two new significant gold zones located in the extension of the existing Solotomo and Fadaninda Artisan mine.

The Solotomo new discovery is located 1,3 km south of Solotomo artisan pit where in 2009, the company drilled 23 RC holes and confirmed an open 300 metres of gold mineralization underneath artisan shallow works. The new zone discovered also lies inside the same 4 km long corridor hosting the Solotomo mine and identified by the Company Airborn Magnetic Survey. This magnetic corridor is also associated to a strong potassium-thorium (K,Th) Radiometric anomaly, which is a strong indicator used in gold exploration. Finally, the discovery also coincides to a gold in soil anomaly outlined in the detailed geochemistry of 2010.

The mineralization observed in the new discovery is very similar to the one of the Solotomo pit 1,3 km to the North. Observed in a limited opening, the gold is associated to a strockwork of quartz veinlets containing considerable amount of flatten gold nuggets up to 3 mm in size as observed on site.

A new gold bearing quartz vein system has also been discovered just 2.0 km west of the prolific Fadaninda artisan mine site. That new system seems to be associated to some east-west trending magnetic anomalies also showing strong potassium-thorium alteration. That system is very similar to the one observed at Fadaninda with frequently visible gold in a brittle quartz associated to black manganese oxide along fracture planes in Birimian schist. Limited exposure did not allow Company's geologist to take any measurement so far but works are progressing in this area.

Maurice Giroux, the president and CEO of "Stellar AfricaGold" declares: "I am always very much impressed by the outstanding potential of the Balandougou Project. The discovery of those two new gold zones in some areas of extensive work by the company is significant in the exploration of the overall potential of the Solotomo and Fadaninda sites. Once Iamgold has acquired its 50-per-cent interest in the properties, the interests of TomaGold and Quinto Real Capital Corp. will be diluted proportionately such that TomaGold and Quinto hold interests of 45 per cent and 5 per cent, respectively, in the Monster Lake property.

David Grondin, president and chief executive officer of TomaGold, stated that: "We are proud to have signed an agreement with Iamgold, a major gold producer with proven expertise in Quebec and the rest of the world. Iamgold's financial and technical resources will enable us to explore Monster Lake and the neighbouring properties faster and in a more optimal manner. In short, this transaction is a testimony to the gold potential of Monster Lake and its surroundings, and we hope to eventually turn it into a mine."

("Stellar"), (TSX VENTURE:SPX) announces that is has completed a non-brokered private placement, raising gross proceeds of $ 150,000 through the issuance of 150 units priced at $ 1,000 each. Each unit consists of 8,500 flow-through common shares ($ 0.10 each) and 1,500 common shares ($ 0.10 each) and 10,000 common share purchase warrants entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share, for a period of 12 months from closing, at a purchase price of $0.15 each.

The net proceeds will be used to advance Stellar's newly acquired Opawica amd Philibert I properties in Quebec and for the corporation general working capital purposes.

The company also informed shareholders that it has contracted Géophysique GPR International Inc. to proceeds to the complete coverage of Opawica and Philibert-I properties with and airborne Magnetic and VLF survey. A total of 437 line kilometre of survey at a line spacing of 100 metre will be done during the month of February 2014. The results of the survey will be known in the course of March 2014 and will constitute the base for the orientation of the company's summer program.

About OPAWICA Property:

The OPAWICA Property consist of three blocs totalling 80 mining cells recently acquired by the Stellar in the area of the new Liam gold discovery on the Nelligan Project of Vanstar. It is located approximately 45 kilometres south of the village of Chapais and is accessible year-round by several forestry roads. A power line crosses the South block of the Opawica property.

The Opawica property is located within the Tomagold/Iamgold-Vanstar-Soquem working area which is to date the most active exploration camp in Quebec. Among the most important gold occurrences reported in the area, we note SOQUEM Meston Lake deposit (1.2 MT @ 6.25 g/t Au), SOQUEM Philbert deposit (1.3 MT @ 5.32 g/t Au), as well as numerous high grade drill and channel sampling reported by Tomagold, Vanstar, Murgor and SOQUEM as well as the former Joe Man gold mine that produced over 1.0 million ounces of gold.

About PHILIBERT I PROPERTY

The property consists of four mining cells covering 224 hectares in the Gamache township, 45 kilometres south of the town of Chapais, Que.

The Philibert-I showing was discovered in 1983 by prospection, and consists of a gold mineralization associated with quartz-tourmaline-sulphides veins. Historical exploration reported grades of 31.6 grams per tonne gold and 2.54 grams per tonne silver in channel sampling across exposed quartz veins, and of 18.66 grams per tonne gold over 0.6-metre cuts in a drill hole.
This property is located in the same environment than Opawica property, and is 6.5 kilometres north-northeast of Vanstar's Liam discovery.

In connection with the private placement, no finder's fee was paid. All securities issued pursuant to the private placement are subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period and the private placement is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 5, 2014) - TOMAGOLD CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:LOT) ("TomaGold" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the start of work on the Monster Lake property, 50 km southwest of Chibougamau, Quebec, pursuant to an agreement that calls for IAMGOLD Corporation to spend at least $2 million on exploration on the Monster Lake property in Year 1.

The first phase of work, which begins this week, consists of a high-resolution magnetic survey, to be followed by an initial program of at least 6,000 metres of drilling.

The high resolution airborne magnetic survey will be flown over lines spaced at 75 metres, at an average altitude of 45 metres. This high resolution survey will be the first one to be completed on the entire properties and could reveal structural elements that play a key role in gold mineralization. The survey will cover the Monster Lake, Winchester and Lac-à-l'Eau-Jaune properties, which are all part of the joint venture agreement signed in November 2013. TomaGold will also fund part of the survey to cover the Little Monster and Cookie Monster properties acquired in 2013, which lie just east of Monster Lake. A total of about 2,050 line-km will need to be flown.

A concurrent initial drilling program of at least 6,000 metres of drilling will begin in the second half of February 2014 in the areas of the 325 and Mégane zones.

The 325 zone returned excellent results from drilling by TomaGold in 2010, 2011 and particularly winter 2013, as shown in the following table...........

LONDON/FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Die Aussicht auf eine anhaltend lockere Geldpolitik in den USA hat den Goldpreis am Donnerstag sichtlich beflügelt. In der Spitze stieg der Preis für eine Feinunze (rund 31 Gramm) auf 1300,96 US-Dollar. Das ist der höchste Stand seit Mitte Mai. Im Vergleich zu Mittwoch ergibt sich ein Gewinn von gut 22 Dollar oder 1,7 Prozent. Der Silberpreis legte unterdessen auf 20,50 Dollar zu. Mit 3,0 Prozent fiel der Tagesgewinn sogar stärker aus als bei Gold.

Die US-Notenbank Fed hatte am Mittwochabend keine Signale gegeben, ihre Geldpolitik in näherer Zukunft zu straffen. Fed-Chefin Janet Yellen sagte, die Entwicklung der Leitzinsen hänge von der Konjunktur ab. Auf die langsam anziehende Inflation ging Yellen nur beiläufig ein. Beobachter rechnen mit einer ersten Zinsanhebung nach der Finanzkrise nicht vor dem Frühjahr 2015.

Gold gilt als klassischer Schutz vor einer hohen Geldentwertung. Weil aber die lockere Geldpolitik aller großen Notenbanken bislang nicht zu einer hohen Inflation geführt hat, hat das Edelmetall insbesondere im vergangenen Jahr stark an Wert verloren. Seit Jahresbeginn 2014 hat sich der Goldpreis jedoch erholt./bgf/jha/
