BENTON PROVIDES DRILLING UPDATE AT PANAMA PROJECT, RED LAKE AND REPORTS ON MATADOR'S PROGRESS AT CAPE RAY GOLD, NEWFOUNDLAND

Benton Resources Inc. has provided an update that diamond drilling is well under way on the Panama Lake gold project in the Red Lake mining district, located approximately 50 kilometres along strike from Great Bear Resources Ltd.'s 2018 gold discovery where drilling is continuing.

To date, the company has completed five of seven planned drill holes within the Panama zone. Upon completion, the drill will move to the Slate Lake zone where earlier the company had selective grab samples grading up to 6.17 grams per tonne gold.

This new prospect is located approximately 120 metres north of the area where a glacial till sampling survey conducted by the Geological Survey of Canada in 1999 identified 107 gold grains in till sampling, the highest count in the survey. The current series of holes has successfully intercepted a 20-to-30-metre-wide mineralized shear identified by Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd. in 1988, which yielded results of up to 2.8 g/t Au over 4.5 m. Benton views the project as having many similarities in geology and structure to that of Great Bear Resources' discovery to the west (see Great Bear's press release dated Aug. 22, 2018).

Benton will release results from the current Panama property drill campaign as soon as they are received and compiled, and will plan further exploration work accordingly..............

Benton Receives Final Payment of 500,000 Shares from Sokoman Iron and Releases Assays from Bolton Bay Drilling

Thunder Bay, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - January 9, 2019) - Benton Resources Inc. (TSXV: BEX) ("Benton" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has received the final payment of 500,000 shares from Sokoman Iron Corp. ("Sokoman") pursuant to an option to purchase agreement for the Alder East gold project located in Central Newfoundland (see Benton PR dated December 16, 2016). In accordance with the option agreement, Benton may also receive further future payments should various defined project resource estimate milestones be achieved by Sokoman and will also retain a 2% NSR on the Alder East project with Sokoman having the right to buy back 1% NSR for $1 million.

Benton would also like to announce the results from three of the four drill holes completed during a recent drill campaign at the Bolton Bay project. Anomalous gold values over significant widths were intersected in the first three drill holes while the results from a fourth hole, testing a 10m thick ultramafic unit prospective for base metal and PGE mineralization, are still pending. While the results prove that the Bolton Bay project has potential for widespread gold mineralization, the drilling failed to intersect a higher grade, sulphide-rich 'pocket' from which Benton surface samples returned up to 145g/t Au this past summer...............

Benton Announces Results of Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders

At the Meeting, the election of Stephen Stares, Michael Stares, William Harper and John Sullivan as directors of the Company was approved by an overwhelming majority of shareholders who voted. All other matters presented to shareholders for approval were successfully passed at the Meeting.

The Company also announces that it has granted 1,950,000 stock options to directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company.

BENTON COMPLETES OPTION TO PURCHASE DEAL WITH RIO TINTO ON BARIL LAKE PROJECT AND PLANS JANUARY DRILLING ON PANAMA PROJECT IN RED LAKE MINING DISTRICT

Benton Resources Inc. has entered into an option to purchase agreement with Rio Tinto Exploration Canada Inc., whereby Rio Tinto Exploration Canada will have the right to earn a 100-per-cent interest in Benton Resources' Baril Lake claims located approximately five kilometres west of Benton Resources' Bark Lake project, which is currently under option to Rio Tinto Exploration Canada (see Benton Resources' press release dated Oct. 25, 2016).

Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, Rio Tinto Exploration Canada can earn 100 per cent of the Baril Lake project by paying Benton Resources $200,000 over four years. Should Rio Tinto Exploration Canada achieve commercial production at the project, it will pay Benton Resources an additional $1-million. The company will also retain a 2-per-cent net smelter return royalty, half of which (1 per cent) can be purchased by Rio Tinto Exploration Canada for $1-million. The company considers the Baril Lake project to be a favourable setting to potentially host copper, nickel and platinum group metals.

Drilling completed by Rio Tinto Exploration Canada in 2017 on the Bark Lake project encountered mineralization of 0.31 gram per tonne copper and 0.72 gram per tonne platinum plus palladium over 19.2 metres (please see Benton Resources press release dated May 25, 2017)..............

darüber hinaus und grad in akt. schwierigen explorer- zeiten, zeichnet sich BEX
mit einer GUT gefüllten CASH- balance aus, die mit akt. cad- mios 4,2 sogar OBERHALB
der gegenwärtigen markt- bewertung von mal eben cad- mios 3,8 liegt !!!!......wie
nachfolg. auszug von jüngster presi aus 10.2018 dokumentiert.............

Thunder Bay, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - November 13, 2018) - Benton Resources Inc. (TSXV: BEX) ("Benton" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has commenced diamond drilling on its Bolton Bay gold project located in northwestern Ontario.

The program will consist of approximately 400m and is designed to test several areas on the project including two holes that will target the projected down plunge mineralization envelope of the historical 'West Zone" where recent Benton sampling returned grades of up to 145 grams per ton (g/t) gold (Au) in selective surface grab samples as well as 0.90g/t Au over 17m in channel sampling. Recent stripping of overburden at the West Zone uncovered an outcrop which could be the surface expression of a vertical, quartz breccia pipe hosting gold.

A third hole will test a newly discovered deformation/shear zone containing green mica (fuchsite or roscoelite), quartz and quartz carbonate within a silicified volcanic which graded 0.42g/t Au over 7.5m including 1.2g/t Au over 1m.

A fourth hole will test a copper-nickel-platinum-palladium target where anomalous mineralization was discovered at surface. Recent logging in the area is providing excellent access to the mineralized zones, which historically were only accessible by water or air......

Thunder Bay, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - September 18, 2018) - Benton Resources Inc. (TSXV: BEX) ("Benton" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that during recent prospecting the Company has made a new discovery on the Panama Lake Gold project.

A total of 24 samples were collected across the project area, six of which show promising results in a previously underexplored area. Five samples collected from an altered and silicified sedimentary iron formation containing quartz veining, pyrite, pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite, graded between 0.17g/t Au and 6.17g/t Au.

The sampling was completed in a poorly-exposed area over 20m long and located approximately 275m northwest of the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) till sample, 92-SBB-142, which contained 107 gold grains, the highest count in the regional-scale survey. Another sample containing 0.68g/t Au was collected 100m southwest of the GSC till sample.
