was ist eure Meinung zu CYCH, hab sie schon lange auf der Watchlist und durch den heutigen
Artikel über Internetzahlungsmittel auf der Homepage von T-Online bin ich mir sicherer als zuvor,

zur Info:
Cybercash bietet folgende Systeme an:
-CyberCoins
-EDD(Electronic Direct Debit)
und Kreditkartenzahlung
soweit ich weiß wird die Kreditkartenzahlung noch mit einem eigenen Protokoll abgewickelt, sollte aber der SET standard integriert
werden, ist das Paket komplett.
Der Cash-Register ist auch sehr gut und einfach zu konfigurieren! Ideal für Shop/Mall-Lösungen! (glaub Intershop kooperiert mit CC)
CC- die Zukunft des Micro/Macro Payments!

Prudential hat sie mehrfach empfohlen mit Kurszielen um 25 $. Sollte CYCH sich durchsetzen, wird´s dabei sicher nicht bleiben.
Allerdings braucht man schon einen langen Atem, Totalverlust immer miteinkalkulieren (lt Barrons geht CYCH bald das Geld aus, wobei solche Situationen immer durch private Sponsoren überbrückt wurden).

Aber die sind doch schon pleite, weil keine Gewinne vorgewiesen werden.
Ich bin sicher, wenn Du bei Herrn Cybercash anrufst, und fragst, ob Du seinen Namen kaufen kannst, daß du gar nicht viel zahlen mußt!
Viel besser wär natürlich, wenn Du seine Tochter heiraten würdest, weil dann könntest Du einfach Ihren Namen annehmen und müßtest Dich nicht O815Bank (oder so ähnlich) nennen.
Denk doch mal drüber nach, oder mach was, was wie denken aussieht!

ich habe heute Morgen erstmal zugeschlagen und mir CYCH ins Depot gelegt. Es kann einfach nur nach oben gehen,
so wie sich der Kurs seit Monaten bewegt. Die Story von CYCH stimmt auf jedenfall und jetzt ist der Zeitpunkt günstig,
weil die Aktie noch nicht hochgepuscht wurde wie z.B. die B2B Werte. CYCH hat einfach den pregnanten Namen, der

dies ist übrigens mein erster Auftritt hier.
Ich bin noch ein echter Börsenneuling und bin natürlich an Experten-Meinung sehr interessiert.
Man kann ja nur dazulernen.
Hier aber meine Frage: Gibt es eine einleuchtende Erklärung dafür, dass der Kurs der Cybercash derart in den Keller geht?
Ich habe 150 Stck. Anfang des Jahres für 10,70 Euro gekauft, weil ich von der Story überzeugt war (virtuelles Zahlungsmittel für den e-Commerce).
Immerhin zog der Kurs ja auch bis über 16 Euro an (war zu der Zeit leider verreist).
Und jetzt stürtzte sie unter 5 Euro. Das ist schon stark.
Was ist Euro Empfehlung? Weiter halten, weil langfristig mit steigenden Kursen zu rechnen ist oder aussteigen und die bittere Pille von 50% Verlust schlucken.
Für Meinungen wäre ich echt dankbar.

verfolge cybercash schon seit mehreren jahren. vor einiger zeit dachte man ja, dass gerade der bereich zahlungsmittel vor einer wahren explosion steht. traurige wahrheit ist aber, dass das geschäft von cc zu mehr als 80% auf reinen SSL payments basiert, also nix mit wallet, EDD, coins etc. auch der versuch eine server-sided wallet einzuführen (instabuy, a la 1-click-buy auf amazon) ist ziemlich kläglich gescheitert. was bleibt ist ein grosser kundenstamm von internet-händlern, die an ein schnödes SSL-gateway zu den verschiedenen prozessoren angeschlossen sind - das bietet leider auch der wettbewerb. unterscheidungsmerkmale zu anderen firmen gibt es jedoch nur recht wenige.
es gab mal zeiten, in denen übernahmegerüchte (MS, AOL, IBM...) für ordentliche ralleys gesorgt haben, aber das ist schon etwas etwa 2 jahre her. mag sein, dass das rennen im zahlungsbreich noch nicht gemacht ist, aber es ist eben auch noch offen, wann es für investoren wieder interessant wird einzusteigen.

Tja, die "Kreditkartenbetrugerkennungssoftware" heisst FraudPatrol und ist eigentlich keine Software, sondern ein Service, der allen Händlern offensteht, also nicht nur Cash Register Benutzern.
Fraud Patrol unterhält eine riesige Datenbank, in die angeblich 60% aller Kreditkartentransaktionen weltweit fliessen. Aus gemeldeten Betrugsfällen wird dann die Wahrscheinlichkeit ermittelt, dass eine Transaktion nicht gedeckt ist. Für jeden Kreditkarteninhaber wird ein Benutzerprofil angelegt. Weicht eine Transaktion vom Benutzerprofil ab, wird die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Missbrauchs erhöht. Der Händler entscheidet aufgrund der Wahrscheinlichkeit, ob er liefert.
Jaja, auch DU bist schon in dieser Datenbank. Pretty scary hmm?

Verluste produziert. Da sich offenbar bei CYCH immer Investoren finden ist mit einer Pleite so schnell
nicht zu rechnen, doch das Potential dieser Aktie ist IMO gleich null!!

ShopSite(tm) Lite, a leading e-commerce catalog creation tool. For complex web site design, Shopsite Manager and Shopsite Pro are available for an additional fee. Both can be purchased online and are available for use on the server within 30 minutes of placing an order.
CyberCash(tm), Cash Register Internet payment service, a leading online credit card processing service. Cash Register is a powerful platform that provides merchants with fast, secure and reliable credit card payment processing.
AT&T Business Ready Dedicated Hosting Service also supports authoring tools supported by the Linux platform.
For Web Site Developers and Integrators
AT&T Business Ready Dedicated Hosting Service provides web site developers with a versatile web hosting solution and enables them to execute their clients’ Internet strategies more quickly. ASPRE, Inc., an e-commerce integrator, has been trialing the service for six months.

For Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
The Virtual ISP (VISP) option lets ISPs create and market AT&T Business Ready Dedicated Hosting Service under their own name to their own customers. With the VISP service, ISPs can activate their own online ordering, provisioning, trouble ticketing and billing systems.
ISPs can lease one or more servers for their dedicated or shared hosting offers. All the tools an ISP needs to create their own web hosting offers are available for use within 30 minutes from order confirmation. Tiered discounts are available for large volume orders.
US Online, a private network of local ISPs, provides technical support and professional services to over 100 ISP affiliates across the nation. US Online is among the first customers to trial the service.

CyberCash Inc. (Nasdaq:CYCH), the world`s leading provider of electronic payment technologies and services, announced today that it has enhanced its ICVERIFY(TM) payment processing software with the CellGate CBF2000 modem adapter to enable speedier authorizations and wireless access and to deliver better service to customers.
The certification of CellGate CBF2000 modem adapter was announced by CyberCash during the Electronic Transactions Association`s mid-year meeting in Chicago.
"CellGate has provided a valuable enhancement to our ICVERIFY product, and we are looking forward to working with them on other CyberCash platforms. For our customers, the enhancement will significantly decrease authorization times and enable better service at the point-of-sale," said Jim Poulson, Vice President of CyberCash`s Software Business at the meeting.
Bernie Kluefer, MIS Director at the Radisson Bahia de Mar Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, said the authorization time for ICVERIFY before he installed CellGate CBF2000 was more than 30 seconds. "Now, we`ve reduced the time to 3-4 seconds and we couldn`t be happier - and our customers are delighted with the speedy service," he said.
The CellGate service replaces a conventional dial-up phone line with a high-speed wireless IP connection. The CBF2000 modem adapter provided by CellGate allows the ICVERIFY system to go wireless with a few simple parameter changes. Once these changes are made, the CBF2000 delivers leased line performance at a cost usually associated with plain vanilla phone service.
"Everyone has been very impressed by the instant, positive impact this enhancement has on system performance. Once users know about the new technology, we expect huge demand," said Terry Stoupa, CellGate`s Executive Vice President of Sales.

Japan to promote e-commerce credit card settlement services for Japanese language Linux servers.

Reston-based CyberCash Inc., which has long struggled to turn its software for electronic payments into a profitable business, will announce today that AT&T Corp. will help sell its business services.
CyberCash, which has tried a variety of business approaches in its six-year history, currently provides electronic cash-register software and payment-processing services to small online retailers. AT&T will join the company`s roughly 160 affiliates that help small businesses set up online stores, marketing the CyberCash services to those retailers.
The CyberCash offering will be part of a new program from AT&T, called Business Ready Dedicated Hosting Service, which provides a suite of preconfigured tools for businesses designed to ease the creation of online shopping sites. Under the program, AT&T will host these Web sites on its computers, eliminating the need for small businesses to buy, configure and maintain the necessary computers and software.
Under this deal, businesses using the AT&T service will be offered the CyberCash system to run electronic cash registers and process payments. (Businesses can choose other electronic payment systems, but CyberCash will be the default.) CyberCash will pay AT&T a commission for every client that uses the CyberCash system, and those clients will pay CyberCash a fee of 4 cents to 20 cents per transaction, plus various fees for optional features that CyberCash will offer.
"AT&T will be a leading provider of e-commerce to bricks and clicks. And we`ll be their payments provider by default," said James Condon, CyberCash`s president and chief executive.
