      ... ist Dir auch das aufgefallen?
      ..."For fiscal year 2001, Geoworks reported a net loss of $21,058,000, or $0.99 per share on 21.2 million shares. In fiscal year 2000, the company reported a net loss of $973,000, or $0.05 per share "

      -> also höherer Verlust als Umsatz
      -> Verlust hat sich VERZWANZIGFACHT
      -> Cash ist nur noch 17,7 Mio. vorhanden... bei der Burn-Rate hält das max. noch ein Jahr...

      Fazit: Wenns sein muss, damit zocken, aber längerfristig? Nein Danke!

      Geoworks Presents Case for GPRS as the Natural Next Step for Mobilizing Data at Mobile Internet 2001 in Paris
      Geoworks` Top European Executive Discusses Program With BT Cellnet
      MACCLESFIELD, England, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Ken Norbury, Geoworks` vice president of mobile services, was a featured speaker at Mobile Internet 2001 in Paris on Friday, September 21. Geoworks Corporation (Nasdaq: GWRX - news), a provider of carrier-grade mobile data infrastructure software to extend enterprise applications to mobile devices, is working with BT Cellnet to bring leading-edge data applications and services to BT`s GPRS network.

      (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20010124/GWRXLOGO )
      Norbury`s presentation, ``Promoting the Development and Deployment of Innovative Mobile Internet Services Over GPRS`` (General Packet Radio Service), discussed the challenges of developing and deploying mobile data solutions and the important business benefits of the mobile Internet.

      ``Our work with BT Cellnet is to help get best-of-breed and innovative applications onto GPRS as quickly as possible by providing the needed tools and assistance to the developer community,`` said Norbury. ``Geoworks has nearly 20 years of experience developing mobile data solutions that we`re putting to work for BT Cellnet and our other wireless partners.``

      Software developers, carriers and enterprises face an environment of poor mobile Internet adoption, because of high expectations unfulfilled due to technical challenges that are yet to be overcome by some current implementations. Norbury said Geoworks and BT Cellnet are demonstrating that GPRS is the best way to take critical business applications ``from concept to market as quickly and easily as possible.``

      ``What the market needs is reliable software, support for current and future environments, support for current applications, services that can scale and applications that can truly roam,`` said Norbury. ``By bringing together the capabilities of Geoworks` AirBoss Application Platform, BT`s GPRS network and rich client mobile devices, Geoworks can meet those needs today.``

      Norbury said Geoworks is using its Geoworks AirBoss(TM) Application Platform in conjunction with BT`s fast-track process to evaluate mobile applications and move them to commercial trial ``in weeks rather than months.``

      This work is critical because there is a huge global market opportunity, according to the Yankee Group who predicts growth will explode to 800 million mobile Internet users worldwide in 2004 from today`s 8 million users.
