Laut den letzten News soll diese Woche ein Announcement zu der Feasibility Study in Sachen Goldfields Project gemacht werden.

Desweiteren befindet man sich in Gesprächen das Financing eben dieses Projektes betreffend.

Könnte eine Chance für 2006 darstellen, der Wert konnte zuletzt leider keine positive Performance hinlegen (Grund u.a. die Abspaltung der Uranaktivitäten in ein eigenes Unternehmen).

KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, Dec. 19 /CNW/ - GLR Resources Inc. ("GLR") is pleased to announce an update on the Goldfields Project in the Beaver Lodge mining district of Northern Saskatchewan, Canada.

GLR has been advised by UMA (Saskatoon) that all necessary reports have been filed with both the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) and Saskatchewan Environment (SERM) to complete the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Goldfields project. UMA reported to GLR that UMA expects these final reports should cover any deficiencies outlined previously by DFO and SERM. GLR is pleased with the news of the submissions, as GLR believes these are milestones in the progress of the Goldfields Project.

GLR is expecting to announce the next step towards the feasibility study by the first week of January 2006. GLR also wishes to report that GLR has recently been in discussions with Investec Bank (UK) Ltd regarding the financing of the Goldfields Project.

"Advancing the Goldfields Project has always been the key focus of GLR. Since there are a number of gold showings very close to the Goldfields Project, GLR plans to conduct some drilling on these targets during the first quarter of 2006 in order to investigate their Gold potential. GLR has focused on the Box Gold Mine during this past 18 months, simply because that is where the majority of known Gold exists" said Bob Kasner, CEO of GLR. "The Athona Gold Deposit is about 2 km away from the Box Gold Mine. Outlined in the 1995 feasibility study, the historical figure for Athona is over 200,000 ounces of Gold. It stands to reason why GLR plans to conduct drilling at these nearby Gold showings, to see what other potential can be found in this Gold district."
