(OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-horsepower solar systems, today announced preliminary results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006 and provided guidance for the remainder of 2006 and for 2007. Revenue for the third quarter, a record, will be in the range of $5.8 - $6.1 million, and gross margins will also be at record highs. In addition, the company announced that it is making substantial progress toward completion in the fourth quarter of its largest installment to date, the $7.8 million Farm ACW avocado ranch in California. WorldWater & Power expects that revenue in the fourth quarter will be between $8.5 and $9.2 million, with additional improvement in gross profits.

nach der letzten pressemitteilung sieht es mir sehr stark danach aus als hätte man diesen kursverfall herbeigezwungen um weitere anteile in seinen besitz zu bekommen.

WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB: WWAT.OB), developer and marketer of proprietary high-horsepower solar systems, and EMCORE Corporation today jointly announced that they have signed a strategic partnership and that EMCORE has agreed to purchase 26.5% on a fully diluted basis of WorldWater for $18 million in cash. In return, EMCORE will receive convertible preferred stock and warrants of WorldWater.
The two companies also announced the formation of a strategic alliance and supply agreement under which EMCORE is the exclusive supplier of high-efficiency multi-junction solar cells, assemblies and concentrator subsystems to WorldWater with a contract valued at up to $100 million over the next 3 years.
On November 29, 2006, EMCORE invested $13.5 million in WorldWater, representing the first tranche of its $18 million investment. The investment of the remaining $4.5 million second tranche will occur once the definitive strategic agreement is signed and certain other conditions are met. The parties expect the execution of the definitive strategic agreement and second closing to occur before the end of the year. In connection with the investment, EMCORE will also gain two seats on WorldWater\'s Board of Directors.

Möchte wieder mal auf diesen Wert zu sprechen kommen, da es am letzten Freitag in den USA eine sehr interessante Entwicklung gegeben hat. So wurde bekannt, daß Worldwater den bisher größten Auftrag der Firmengeschichte gewonnen hat (8,2 Mio. Dollar). Darüber hinaus hat wwat offenbar beste Chancen, einen noch größeren Auftrag am internationalen Flughafen Fresno an Land zu ziehen! (siehe Yahoo-Board)
Die offizielle PM ist noch nicht veröffentlicht worden und dürfte diese Woche, vielleicht schon heute, kommen.

Kulmbach (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die Experten vom Anlegermagazin "Der Aktionär" halten die Worldwater-Aktie (ISIN US98155N1063 / WKN 909889) für risikofreudige Anleger für interessant.
Die Experten hätten den Umwelttitel bereits im November letzten Jahres empfohlen. Ihrer Ansicht nach stünden die Chancen gut, dass sich die Aufwärtsbewegung bei Worldwater fortsetze.
Zum einen dürfte der Boom bei Umwelt-Papieren in den nächsten Monaten anhalten und zum anderen dürfte die Gesellschaft bereits in der ersten Jahreshälfte einen Großteil des für 2007 anvisierten Umsatzes von 30 bis 35 Mio. USD eingefahren haben. Zudem dürfte der schwache Dollar dazu beitragen, dass Produkte von Worldwater für europäische Kunden zunehmend attraktiver würden.

Kulmbach (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die Experten vom Anlegermagazin "Der Aktionär" halten die Worldwater-Aktie (ISIN US98155N1063 / WKN 909889) für risikofreudige Anleger für interessant.
Die Experten hätten den Umwelttitel bereits im November letzten Jahres empfohlen. Ihrer Ansicht nach stünden die Chancen gut, dass sich die Aufwärtsbewegung bei Worldwater fortsetze.
Zum einen dürfte der Boom bei Umwelt-Papieren in den nächsten Monaten anhalten und zum anderen dürfte die Gesellschaft bereits in der ersten Jahreshälfte einen Großteil des für 2007 anvisierten Umsatzes von 30 bis 35 Mio. USD eingefahren haben. Zudem dürfte der schwache Dollar dazu beitragen, dass Produkte von Worldwater für europäische Kunden zunehmend attraktiver würden.

Am Tag der Threaderöffnung (10.10.2006) erreichte der Kurs von Worldwater mit 0,103 Euro das ATL. Kurz danach kam die Meldung, die in Posting 1 nachzulesen ist.
Heute haben wir bei 1,01 Euro geschlossen und in Amerika zog der Kurs weiter an, so daß wir schon morgen die 1,10 Euro sehen dürften.

(OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced that the Company has signed a Letter of Intent with M&G Promociones de Vivienda Urbana S.A., a real estate developer in Spain, to build several solar farms in Lorca (Murcia), Spain over the next five years. The contract to be negotiated will reflect plans by M&G to buildthree 10-MegaWatt (MW) farms over the next three years, with implementation starting in 2008 - 10MW each year - along with two 50MW farms in the fourth and fifth years. Negotiations will begin within weeks in Madrid to conclude the contract, which will be subject to conditions including financing, licensing and other commercial and permitting issues.
