IBM Japan to Resell BroadVision`s Enterprise Self-service Application Suite

Als die Nachricht kam reagierten die Anleger super die Aktie stieg von zwischenhochs von 7% auf fast 14% in Plus und es geht noch weiter so schaffen wir heute die 20% oder fallen wir wieder zurück.

Ich kann nur noch über Dich lachen, aber vielleicht nicht mal mehr das.

Wenn Brotvischen gerade mal zehn Prozent steigt, fängst Du an mit Deiner Dumm-Pusherei. Broadvision ist schon oft um zehn oder 20 Prozent gestiegen, aber in den letzten Monaten auch wesentlich stärker gefallen - zu Recht. Miserable Zahlen, schlechtes Management, veraltete Produkte. Dem abgestürzten B2B- Bereich jetzt schon wieder eine goldene Zukunft vorherzusagen kann wohl nur ein begnadeter Zocker und Pusher, wie Du es offenbar bist.

Also seht mal auf den Chart und ihr könnt eine Bearkeilspitzen enttecken von der aus die Trendlinien an denen man sagt Braod steigt jetzt eingezeichnet sind. Wir sehen da einen sehr sehr breiten Keil der zwar schön langsam nicht mehr zu Keil sondern nur noch num geschiere wird wenn Braod unter 3 gehen würde.

Also ich rechne damit dass wir die Tiefststädne der nächsten 40 Jahr gesehen haben.

Broad ist wieder auf dem Weg der Besserung und das Konzept von Braod wird aufgehen. Jetzt das Sparpaket wenn dies klappt dann hat Braod super Zukunftsausschten.

Also zurück zum Chart.

Wir sehen einen Bearkeil wenn wir dieses mal wesentlich dem äußersten Strich des Keiles nach oben laufen sehen ich die nächste Marke bei ca 3.8€ mit der wir zur Sekunde zu kämpfen haben. Denn dort hängt der kürzerfristige Abwärtsdrendkanal am oberen Limit.
Also wenn wir über die 3,8$ gehen heute dann noch morgen gut performen sehe ich für Braod ne gute möglichkeite auch den 2. Abwürtsdrendkanal zu outperformen der liegt bei ca. 5$ und wenn wir da wesentlich darüber gehen oder in diesem Bereich eine Stabilisierung sehen gehe ich von Kursen um die 10$ bis 2-3 Wochen aus.

BroadVision weitet im zweiten Quartal bei geringerem Umsatz den Verlust aus
FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Der Spezialist für E-Commerce-Software BroadVision Inc. hat im zweiten Quartal weniger umgesetzt, den Verlust gegenüber dem Vorquartal aber weiter ausgeweitet. Nun will das Unternehmen mit der weiteren Entlassung von 15 bis 20 Prozent seines Personals und der Schliessung von Büros auf die Absatzkrise reagieren.

Im zweiten Quartal setzte das Unternehmen nach vorläufigen Angaben 57,4 Mio. USD um, nachdem das Vorquartal noch einen Umsatz von 91,1 Mio. USD gebracht hatte. Der Verlust stieg von 38,9 Mio. USD auf 53,1 Mio. USD. Im selben Quartal des Vorjahres konnte das Softwareunternehmen noch einen Gewinn von 10,6 Mio. USD ausweisen, teilte BroadVision in einer Pflichtmitteilung am Mittwoch mit.

In die aktuellen Quartalszahlen seien Restrukturierungsaufwendungen 123 Mio. USD eingeflossen. Obwohl die Entlassungen weitergehen, rechnet das Unternehmen für das kommende Quartal mit sinkenden Abfindungszahlungen und Kosten für die Zusammenlegung kleinerer internationaler Niederlassungen./ts/af

Niemand der nur von einer Wachstumsdelle ausgeht macht so etwas. Weißt du was es kostet neues Personal einzuarbeiten?

Was bleibt, ist ein Laden der fast soviel Verlust wie Umsatz macht. Eine unternehmerische Meisterleistung in Sachen B2Blödsinn.

BVSN ist auch die einzige Fa. die gerade ihre Ueberkapazitaeten abbaut....wieso sollte man das auch machen....kein Grund zur Kostensenkung bei abflachenden Auftragseingaengen.

Die Analystenerwartungen pro Aktie wurden auch nur erfuellt weil der Umsatz gefallen und man weiter gewachsen ist ....?!

Hast Du mal was von zyklischen Maerkten gehoert?

(Diese Depotleiche steht bei mir mit gruenen Vorzeichen im Depot)

Ich kaufe einen Wert wenn er guenstig bewertet ist....aber dass ist in deinen Augen wohl auch grundverkehrt *gg*

B2B wird in Zukunft eine Rolle spielen. Allerdings längst nicht in dem Maße, wie es die Analos verkündet haben.

B2C und B2B war ein willkommener Anlaß zum Abzocken von Anlegern. Ein Blick in die Bilanzen der Banken reicht hier vollkommen.

wenn ich hier so durchschau ist es ja eigentlich so.

Wir haben am 26.07.01 meine Meinung nach die Trendwende eingeleitet die warscheinlich die Nasdaq bis auf ca. 2400 Puntkte führen wird.

Wir werden dann bei BraodVision sicher über 7€ stehen.

BroadVision läuft die letzten Tage ja super im gegensatz zu vielen anderen Firmen also ist Broad meiner Meiung nach Market Outerperform und sollte auf strong buy stehen. Denn wer jetzt nicht aufspringt dem ist neicht zu helfen. Wie DArc schon erwähnte. Alle sprechen von ner Braodpleite bzw. Depotleiche. Wie kann es dann sein dass bei Darc und bei mir Braod mit sehr guten + Zeichen im Depot steht.

Ich gebe allen mal nen Tipp wie man es machen sollte.

Eigentlich langen für diejenigen die nicht Zocken wollen aber Daytrader sind 2 Titel um Geld zu schäffeln.

Ihr nehmt BraodVision und Nanopierce her mit diesen beiden Titeln ist sehr sehr viel Geld dirnn.

Wenn der Markt gut läuft dann Tradet ihr BraodVision wenn er ins Minus geht dann kauft Ihr Nanopierce.

Nanopierce ist eine Nanotechfirme die immer gegen den Markt läuft wenn es up geht dann geht NPCT down und wenn es down geht dann geht NPCT up.

Also kauft jetzt BraodVision und verkauft Nanopierce. Wenn Ihr genügend geld habt beileibt in Braod denn die wird sich schell verdrei bis vervierfachen.

Mit eine par Wiederständen und ein paar Unterstützungeng wird Braod sicher auf die 20€ laufen

Heute gehts sicher wieder über 5% up.

ich hätte eigentlich mit Kursen Ende Jahr von mindestens 45€ spekuliert und bin daher lange short gegangen in den USA und habe vor 3 Tagen gekauft und rechne noch immer mit Kursen über 40€ es kann aber vielleicht sogar bis Februar tauern.

Vignette, Competitors Target Comeback

Difficult economic conditions that have rendered companies reluctant to make large IT expenditures have sent the market values of e-customer relationship
management (eCRM) software vendors plummeting this year. The shares of market leaders Art Technology Group (Nasdaq: ARTG - news), BroadVision
(Nasdaq: BVSN - news), and Vignette (Nasdaq: VIGN - news) have fallen 92%, 98%, and 84%, respectively, over the last 12 months. Some investors, however,
once viewed eCRM as providing a critical "next step" for e-commerce.


Companies began by launching websites that promoted information, and then later moved to enabling online
transactions. The next step -- led by Art Technology (ATG), BroadVision, and Vignette -- was to make the
Internet more interactive, increasing self-service, customer loyalty, and profitability.

The strong demand for eCRM software, which allows companies to take advantage of the increased
efficiencies of selling, marketing, and servicing customers online, created explosive growth, but as each vendor
began struggling towards the end of last year it became increasingly evident that the good times were not
sustainable.

The slowing growth, combined with tough IT spending conditions in the U.S. and abroad, will continue to make
it difficult for smaller vendors to stay afloat. Lesser competitors may hope to get acquired, while the leaders
should survive the downturn. That said, let`s look at the recent performance of ATG, BroadVision, and
Vignette, and determine where the three companies might be headed.

At a recent price of $1.50 per share, well off its 52-week high of $111, ATG is a perfect example of the
lofty expectations that once plagued the sector. After pushing back its target for profitability more than
once, it appears ATG might experience a cash crunch if current market conditions continue. Prudential
Securities recently estimated ATG would use $50 million for operations and $21 million for restructuring
in 2001 and 2002, leaving minimal cash reserves to remain a viable competitor.

With its weak balance sheet and continued operating losses, it looks bad for ATG. Potential buyers are likely to go with the "safe buy," looking for a
vendor that`s guaranteed to stay in business. Technology buyers are inherently conservative and are loathe to buy products today, then watch the
company go out of business tomorrow, leaving them stranded with regard to upgrades and maintenance. There`s arguably already evidence of this in
ATG`s latest quarter, during which it signed up 37 new customers -- down from 100 a year ago.

BroadVision hasn`t done much better than ATG, its shares closing at a recent price of $2.52 per share and well off its 52-week high of $39.75. BroadVision
was once thought to be a sure winner with its list of blue-chip customers that includes General Electric (NYSE: GE - news) and Home Depot (NYSE: HD
- news). It differentiated itself through the notion of "buy" versus "build": A business could "buy" a set of packaged applications from BroadVision, for
example, or "build" its own solution by purchasing software from ATG. While the latter might allow greater flexibility, the former could mean greater ease.

The value proposition seemed strong, particularly with Siebel Systems (Nasdaq: SEBL - news) using the "buy" strategy in the traditional CRM market
-- which includes call centers, sales force automation, and marketing automation, rather than a purely Internet-based system -- to defeat vendors with
"build" strategies. Still, with IT spending cuts hampering its results, BroadVision hasn`t proven it can handle the downturn. Earlier this year, it missed
estimates after expenses such as bonuses and hiring costs hit the books unexpectedly. The company also recently lost its CFO, making the issue of
whether BroadVision has the operational leadership to reenter the black even more uncertain.

Vignette has performed well relative to the competition, though at a recent price of $5.81 per share, down from its 52-week high of $39.50, the market may
not agree. The company was one of the first to get hit by the cutbacks in IT spending last year, which gave it a head start on reorganizing its operations around
more difficult market conditions. Vignette`s most-recent quarterly results met Wall Street`s expectations, and the company cited market share gains and
pointed toward a return to profitability as early as the fourth quarter of this year.

The company seems to have a leg up on the competition. With very little debt and more than $413 million in cash, it doesn`t have the same liquidity
issues ATG has encountered. That should leave potential buyers with a certain amount of security when considering its products. By starting the
process of slashing its headcount and other expenses in the fourth quarter of last year, management also displayed solid operational expertise,
something BroadVision hasn`t done as well.

eCRM stocks were once expected to weather the downturn because their applications had a strong return on investment, or ROI, proposition, giving their
businesses the ability to cut costs and increase revenues. The business models were also attractive: Software vendors operate with very little inventory, for example,
which cuts down on working capital requirements and increases returns on capital. Once the realities of the economic downturn became apparent, however, it was
clear few firms would escape unscathed.

While the future of eCRM might appear uncertain given the industry`s recent results, now could be the time to consider which vendors will not only survive, but also
be best-positioned when IT spending improves. It appears now that ATG is an unlikely candidate, while BroadVision and Vignette should make it. Management, the
balance sheet, and a compelling value proposition are three important characteristics to consider closely.

Market research firm AMR recently said the traditional CRM market was expected to grow 28% this year. With the inclusion of eCRM segments like
personalization and content management, however, it expects 43% growth. That`s clear evidence of the eCRM value proposition is winning businesses over.

The bigger question will be whether eCRM vendors will be able to take full advantage of the market`s acceptance. Traditional CRM vendors like Siebel have taken
notice of the growing demand and taken steps to incorporate key concepts like personalization and self-service into their own offerings. That surely doesn`t spell the
end of BroadVision and Vignette, but it will make the road to recovery even more treacherous.

irgendwo wird BVSN auch vorgeworfen dass sie kein fachkräfte im Managmnet haben

fazit : ist es nicht auch in der vergangenheit so gewesen dass bvsn von ANALYSTEN abgestuft, abgestuft
und nochmals abgestuft wurde , während intershop ,ariba, cmrc, usw relativ verschont wurden
klar die kurse sind bei allen in den keller gegangen, aber bei dem regen von negativ äusserungen hätte
bvsn schon vor sechs monaten konkurs anmelden müssen .
doch sie waren es die partnerschaften mit WALMART an land ziehen konnten ,oder AIFRANCE und das zu
einer zeit als Intershop noch von allen in den himmel gehoben wurde

wer sich jetzt wieder verarschen lässt ist selber schuld

ich habe die ganze Woche wirklich die ganze Woche BroadVision analysiert und bin immer noch der Meinung dass diese Aktie den kpl. B2B und E-Commerce Bereich outerperformen wird. Es steht fest dass Broad eine der Besten Firmen der Welt ist und Broad hällt sich über Wasser das ist mal fix. Die große Frage was macht der neue CFO von Broad ?

Wie lange dauert es bis Broad die Verluste in ein relatives Verhältniss bringt und diese Verluste kontrollieren kann ?

Was machen die Leute Sie verkaufen und horchen einen Analysten der größte Fehler in der Geschichte der Menschheit.

Die eigenen Meinung zu BraodVision von mir ist ja:

Fakten:

35 Großinvestoren warten auf noch billiger BrodVision kurse um einzusteigen.
65 Fondsmanager wollen BroadVision bis zu 22% bei noch tieferen Kursen ins Managmentportfolio aufnehmen.
1000 te von Privatpersonen warten auch noch auf billiger Kurse bei der Aktie.


Letzter Punkt die Märkte ragieren gigantisch auf Nachrichten wenn es heisst eine Umsatzerwartung wird erreicht sprich es steigern sich die Auftragseingänge.

Wirtschaftswissenschaflter aus den USA sprechen bereits von der nächsen Wirtschaftsboom Welle die sich mitte bis Ende nähchsten Jahres in den USA beginnt zu entwickeln.

Da seien besonders die Naotechnologiefirmen zu berücksichtigen und die tiefen Fundamental guten Titel sollte man nun kaufen vielleicht noch 1 Monat abwarten.

Also jeder kann sich jetzt seine Meinung draus Bilden.

Broad geht über 100€ wann ist jedoch noch unklar.
Aber die 45€ erreichen wir sicher nächstes Jahr schon beginn des Jahres rechne ich mit wesentlich höheren Kursen als mit 30€

Wenn du substanzielle Nachrichten hast, warum stellst du dann nicht
die Quellen hier rein, du Loser?

Apropos 19:30, daß einzige, was ich mir vorstellen könnte ist, daß
ich ein paar BVSN für 2,4x€ einsammle um sie morgen für 2,5x bis 2,6x
zu verscheuern.

Auch wenn der Kurs heute nicht auf 2,4x fallen sollte, die letzten Tage
und Wochen haben eine klar Sprache gesprochen: An Broadvision glauben im
Moment immer weniger Leute und das Risko für ein mittel oder langfristiges
Engagement ist sehr hoch.

Schaut euch nur den Schrott an, den Kimble erst heute hier gepostet hat.
Wer auf ihn gehört hätte, hätte viel Geld verloren.

Ich habe (natürlich mit etwas Glück) genau vorhergesagt, daß
es BVSN heute für 2,4x zu kaufen gibt.
Tatsächlich wurden zahlreiche Stücke in dem Bereich gehandelt
(Tiefstkurs XETRA: 2,43€).
Meine Kauforder lag bei 2,42, hat nicht gezogen (wer weiß wozu es
gut war).

Mein Urteil bleibt bestehen, BVSN ist momentan nur was für sehr risikobereite
Zocker, ob die Nasi im Plus oder im Minus ist, der Kurs scheint unbedingt
unter die 2$ zu wollen.

Trotzdem: Good Trade (Und hört nicht auf solche Dummpuscher wie kimble)!

...die 1.50$ koennte ich mich vorstellen...leider ..aber mann sollte den Dingen wohl ins Auge sehen!

Langfristig bin ich allerdings von BVSN ueberzeugt.
Daher baue ich momentan Cash zum Verbilligen auf!

Hi darc,

offengestanden versteh ich nicht ganz warum BVSN so runtergeknüppel wird,
deshalb kann ich auch nicht sagen, wie weit es noch runter geht.

Das sind ja fast Kurse wie bei einem insolvenzgefährdeten Unternehmen.

Aber der Markt und die Kurse lügen nicht, obwohl die 1,50$ wären wohl eher
das Äußerste. Aber wär hätte vor 2 Wochen (3,60€) gedacht, daß es so bergab geht?
Habe gestern ne Kauforder für 2,42€ aufgegeben und keine bekommen. Bin heute
direkt froh drüber (BID aktuell: 2,38).

Also wie schon gesagt, es sieht so aus, als wenn der Kurs unter 2$ will. Außerdem
fängt bald wieder die Gewinnnwarnsaison an, und was die Umsätze von BVSN angeht,
hört man ja nicht allzu viel Erfreuliches.

Also wer jetzt BVSN kaufen will, sollte davon überzeugt sein, daß der Boden erreicht
ist und sofort nach dem Kauf einen SL setzen (5 Cent, max. 10 unter Kaufpreis), denn
wer weiß wie weit es noch runter geht (oder auch nicht).
