Credit Suisse Banks On IONA Technologies

ZURICH, Switzerland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 2000--IONA® Technologies, the Enterprise Portal Company (NASDAQ:IONA - news), today announced that it has signed a multi-million dollar, multi-year strategy contract with Credit Suisse. IONA`s solution will enable the bank`s information system users to access crucial mainframe-based information through modern web-based clients, resulting in a compelling business solution for Credit Suisse.

Credit Suisse has made enormous investments in mainframe-based systems, enterprise resource planning applications and data centers. The bank needed to integrate their existing processing (``backend``) systems with new front-end applications necessary for new products and distribution channels. Orbix® for OS/390 allows Credit Suisse to execute millions of transactions per day over a CORBA®-based interface to its core systems.

Ein klarer Kauf! Ich beobachte die Finanzierungssuche dieser Firma seit zwei Wochen, dass es gleich mit dieser Grossbank geklappt hat... Dann schiesst das Ding ja heute in den USA durch die Decke! Noch ist Zeit vor 15:30 =o) zum Kauf!! In Berlin wird schon große Nachfrage gemeldet...
