Summary and Recommendation

We are initiating coverage on internet.com with a BUY - FOCUS LIST recommendation and believe INTM shares should be a core holding for aggressive growth investors with an Internet B2B focus.

Importantly, we believe that the global uptake of the web has created a rapidly expanding group of Internet professionals with a growing need for information resources and news to assist them in their daily work and purchase decisions. Herein lies the opportunity for internet.com, which is uniquely positioned, through its network of 93 web sites, to offer value-added "content" (e.g., product evaluations, real-time industry news, tutorials, market research, buyers`` guides, software downloads, job listings, etc) to internet professionals...each and every day. Notably, internet.com is the only media Network dedicated to: 1) the Internet as an Industry (versus broad-based computing & IT) and 2) business users (versus consumers). Along this line, INTM provides advertisers and vendors with a powerful means of reaching a highly focused community of Internet users of which 79% either make of influence purchase decisions, according to a recent survey from Informative. Notably, in December 1999, internet.com had 1.9 million unique visitors who generated more than 90 million page views for the month, vs. 47 million page views for June 1999.

In our opinion, internet.com represents a unique and exciting B2B, or Business-to-Professional (B2P) content play one that combines proprietary content (i.e., 60 FTE and 100+ free-lance contributors), a growing network of web sites & thematic channels (e.g., Linux/Open Source) with a blue-chip customers base and a diversified and expanding set of revenue streams. INTM is facing multiple growth avenues (layers of additional new content, new E-services, new geographies, acquisitions, and an emerging VC opportunity), and possesses a seasoned management team that we believe is capable of building off its early leadership to remain the premier network for B2B internet content.

We initiate coverage of the stock with a 2000 "cash" EPS estimate of $0.00 on $35 million in revenue, and a 2001 "cash" EPS estimate of $0.25 on $59.2 million in revenue. Looking ahead, we believe the outlook is bright for INTM shares, driven in part by possible upside potential to our outlook in Q1-00 and beyond, and increased investor attention with respect to the company``s Venture Capital arm--which is focused on investing in early stage B2B content plays. hey nr.7 - was ist das für `ne aktion?: Rente in 3 Jahren(dank Internet.com)?; an der börse ist doch schon langfristig, wenn man die werte übers wochenende hält (frei nach Markus Koch in Sasbachwalden im Dez.99)

Analyst M.Graham von Robertson Stephens stuft internet.com erstmalig mit kaufen ein.
Bei Empfehlung s.o. lag der Kurs bei um die 50 €, heute umgerechnet ca. 56 €.
vergessene Perle Nr.1 cobalt networks, bei Empfehlung Kurs um 70 € heute ca. bei 102€ (in 3,5 Tagen)
Eine hab ich noch, eine altbekannte (MMeier empfiehlt Sie bereit`s schon länger, in diesem Fall hat er wirklich recht) Aktie:
INTERTAINMENT, ca.10 % Risiko nach unten, aber mind. 50 % Potential nach oben - kurzfristig.
langfristig schließe ich mich dem allgemeinem Kursziel von 200-250 € an. (heute bei 102 € gekauft (nachgekauft bin schon länger dabei ca. 10 Monate)
