Mit Burnout II und Turok Evo. befinden sich 2 Games
von Acclaim in den Top Ten der Playstation II Charts.
Turok ebenfalls in den Top Ten der X-Box.
Das dürfte sehr gut für das erste Quartal des neuen
Geschäftsjahres das am 30 November endet sein und
trozdem dümpelt der Kurs zwischen 1,20 und 1,40 Dollar.
Für mich ist Acclaim immer noch 4-5 Dollar wert.

Langfristig bin ich von Acclaim überzeugt
warte aber trozdem auf die nächsten Zahlen
sollten die nicht soo toll ausfallen wird der Kurs
nochmal nachgeben und kaufe dann nochmal!
Kaufe aber auch wenn die Zahlen gut werden
denn dann wird das der Anfang einer Kursrally sein!

Mein Gott, das war heute Dusel und Pech zugleich! Nachdem ich mich knapp über 1$ von dem Papier verabschiedet habe, stand AKLM die letzten Tage wieder auf dem 1. Platz meiner Watchlist. Heute mal kurz auf 0.65$ gezuckt, da musste ich natürlich zuschlagen. Ich habe aber leider in FRA nur läppische 5000 St. für 0.58€ abgefischt

Acclaim "Strong buy". Das Weihnachtsgeschäft steht vor der Tür. Die Preis für xbox, PS2 und Gamecube werden fallen, was die Verkaufszahlen der konsolen und somit auch die Verkaufszahlen der Spiele nach oben treibt. Und Acclaim hat eine gute Release-Pipeline.

LOS ANGELES, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Video game publisher Acclaim Entertainment Inc.`s (NasdaqSC:AKLM - News) co-chairman and former chief executive, Gregory Fischbach, has sold 1 million shares of the company`s stock, Acclaim said in a filing with securities regulators on Thursday.
In a form filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (News - Websites), Acclaim said Fischbach sold the shares on Tuesday at a price of $0.4132 each. He still holds 7.88 million shares of Acclaim stock, according to the form.

The filing also noted the proceeds of the sale would be "applied to certain outstanding obligations" of Fischbach to the company.

Kann sowohl negativ als auch positiv sein. So ist das nun mal mit Pleitewerten. Mir schmeckt die ganze Sache derzeit etwas nach Dreierfusion Sega Acclaim BAM. Ist zwar jetzt etwas an den Haaren herbeigezogen aber alleine können die Mittleren und Kleinen nicht weitermachen. Denen fehlt einfach die kritische Masse um richtige Blockbuster zu produzieren.

Weiß ich auch nicht. Ein Klotz ist es ja nur wenn man fortwährend Verluste schreibt. Eins ist klar, wenn Acclaim jetzt noch mal den Kopf aus der Schlinge zieht haben sie spätestens nächstes Jahr wieder die gleichen Probleme an der Backe. Besser gesagt die werden eher noch größer, da sie die großen Entwicklungsbudgets nicht mitgehen können. Ob der Handybereich so einschlägt wage ich zu bezweifeln. AKLM wird sich noch mal 30 Mio neue Aktien spendieren und im Weinachtsgeschäft eine schwarze Null schreiben, der Aktienkurs wird auf 2 Dollar steigen und dann ...........

Ich weis nicht, warum AKLM heute steigt, Fakt ist, daß ein super Titel herausgekommen ist, und daß man unter gewissen Umständen Freude an einem Anstieg der Aktie haben kann. Wenn man keine Freude daran hat, hat man keine Aktien, dann sollte man das wenigstens den anderen gönnen.
Ja Nemaxfire hat recht, es gab diesen Ausbruch schon mal, ob in 2 Wochen oder 10 Monaten ist doch glinde gesagt scheiß egal.
Ob er diesmal auch kommt werden wir sehen...

Nemaxfire, du solltest deine Nase lieber mal in den 10-Q Filing aus der Zeit stecken bevor du so einen Blödsinn schreibst. Jedenfalls zeigt mir dein letztes Posting das du nicht weißt was du schreibst. Macht dich das nicht nachdenklich das bereits nach 3 1/2 Stunden über 35Mio. Aktien gehandelt werden - wohl eher nicht und darum kaufe bitte noch mal kärftig nach

In diesem Fall muß ich Dir mal recht geben. Scheinbar hat sich Acclaim seinen Markennamen so versaut, dass keiner mehr die Spiele kauft. Alle anderen Titel liegen in der
Verkaufstatistik und bei Amazon schon eher Kundenakzeptanzstatistik vorne. Das NBA Spiel von EA sogar schon auf Platz 85 und es komm erst Mitte Oktober. Bin heute erst mal wieder raus, weil ich dem Braten auch nicht traue.

Am Ende kann Acclaim noch drei Rollen vorwärts machen wird aber strategischer Wettbewerbsverlierer bleiben. Erschwerent kommt noch hinzu, dass NBA und Alias eher reine US-Markt Tittel sind und wenn sie dort relativ floppen ist der Ofen aus. Diese 100 Bullets und Red Star Geschichte, welche sich Produktpipeline nennt sollte wohl eher nur eine beschränkte Zielgruppe interessieren.
