Perspektive on the long run ist sehr gut; Peshkabier Field bringt weiterhin positive Überraschungen.

QUITY RESEARCH 6 February 2018
Research report prepared by DNB Markets, a division of DNB Bank ASA

Q4 preview
This report was completed and disseminated at 17:24 CET on 06 February 2018
DNO BUY
TP: NOK13.1
Looking for Peshkabir update
We are in line with consensus on Q4e EBITDA, but
believe market expectations are far too low on 2018e
capex. We still find the medium-term risk / reward
attractive, with our NAV-based target price of NOK13.1,
our bear-case fair value (with conversion of PSCs to
TSCs) or NOK6.7 / share, and our bull-case fair value
(with Peshkabir being successful) or NOK17.9 / share.
Noting that DNO has been paid by KRG in 16
consecutive months, we reiterate our BUY
recommendation. The Q4 results are due at 08:00 CET
on 8 February.
We forecast Q4 EBITDA or USD89.3m, in line with consensus. Top line, we expect
Q4 to mark the group's strongest revenue since Q2 2014 (when the share price
averaged NOK21.6), with 45% growth QOQ and 293% YOY on a flat share price
YOY. We forecast Q4 operating cash flow of NOK0.67 / share, equating to an attractive
P / OpFCF (annualized) or 3.6x.
We expect management to provide 2018 guidance with the Q4 results. We view
2018e consensus capex as far too low (we expect USD155m; Inquiry Financial
consensus is USD101m), given DNO's 2017 guidance of USD130m and the recent
disaster-up of activity at Peshkabir. We also expect 2018 equity production or 100kboed
(consensus is 97kboed).
Peshkabir's hidden depths.
of oil columns between the Jurassic and Cretaceous reservoirs, we believe the
Peshkabir Cretaceous reservoir could hold ~ 340mmboe (gross), compared with the
48mmboe currently booked. We expect DNO to provide an update with the Q4 results.
Payments keep coming in. DNO has received payments from the KRG in 16
consecutive months. Clearly the KRG's financials are stressed with the loss of the
Kirkuk oil, and only partially offset by rising oil prices. However, the KRG is striving to
Keep the oil sector, its lifeline, alive by paying the oil companies in a timely manner.

DNO Reports Payment for Tawke Deliveries
Oslo, 19 December 2017 - DNO ASA, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, today reported receipt of USD 54.32 million from the Kurdistan Regional Government as payment for September 2017 crude oil deliveries to the export market from the Tawke license. The funds will be shared by DNO and partner Genel Energy plc pro-rata to the companies' interests in the license.
Separately, a payment of USD 4.37 million from the Kurdistan Regional Government has been received net to DNO, representing three percent of gross Tawke license revenues during October 2017, as provided for under last August's receivables settlement agreement.
"We are pleased with the regularity of payments for our share of Tawke license exports over the course of the year notwithstanding challenging conditions in the region," said Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani, DNO's Executive Chairman. "Twelve monthly export invoices were paid in full during 2017 together with three scheduled payments under the receivables agreement, providing the funds and the confidence to continue to make significant new investments in Kurdistan," he added.
DNO operates and has a 75 percent interest in the Tawke license, which contains the Tawke and Peshkabir fields. Combined production from the two fields year-to-date has averaged 110,000 barrels of oil per day and is expected to climb as operations ramp up at the Peshkabir field.
