      Shares outstanding : 47 Mio
      aktueller Kurs : CAD 0,90
      Marktkapitalisierung : CAD 42,3 Mio / US$ 36,5 Mio / Euro 29,7
      7 % Insiders / 33 % Institutionelle Anleger
      WKN : 250810

      12,5 Mio US$ in 2006
      20 Mio US$ in 2007

      9 Mio US$ in 2006
      14 Mio US$ in 2007

Lundin says Great Panther may find new vein offshoot

      2006-01-17 20:29 ET - In the News

In the December, 2005, edition of the Gold Newsletter, Brien Lundin comments on Great Panther Resources Ltd.`s newest assay results at the Guanajuato mine in Mexico. Mr. Lundin said buy Great Panther, now trading at 92 cents, at 58 cents in October, 2005. An investment of $1,000 would now be worth $1,546.52. Three holes at Guanajuato hit high-grade silver of the Veta Madre vein. Hole 4 cut 5.8 metres of 692 g/t Ag and 5.1 g/t Au. Hole 5 hit 2.5 metres of 1,096 g/t Ag and 4.15 g/t Au. These intersections occurred just 100 to 120 metres below surface. Mr. Lundin is betting these holes outline a new economically exploitable offshoot of Veta Madre. He says the Guanajuato also has a bevy of drilling targets, and the company has enough money to explore them. Great Panther recently raised $2.5-million by selling 4.1 million units at 62 cents. The company will attempt a second tranche of 5.9 million units, which should add another $3.7-million to the till. Finally, Great Panther has the needed infrastructure to bring any new silver deposits into production. Rising silver prices should give this silver producer a several-fold increase.

      Presentation :

      http://www.greatpanther.com/i/pdf/presentation.pdf

      Mein Tip :

      Hallo Zusammen,

"the best kept secret in Mexico"...

Der vollständige Artikel (vom 1. Dezember 2005) ist zu erreichen unter
      http://www.321gold.com/editorials/moriarty/moriarty120105.ht…

"We have been owners of Great Panther shares for almost 2 years. I bought into their story a long time ago when it was just a great idea. Well, they have the goods now and are going to be competing to get into the top five silver producers. They have the mines and the silver and I believe the management team. The market is not giving them any credit for the ounces which they obviously have. The entire market cap of Great Panther is under $20 million Canadian and that isn`t going to last long. They have a lot of silver, should be one of the lowest cost producers in the business and will be producing in 2006. Look for them to be leading the pack in under three years. "

Cangold drills 4.12% Zn over 9.33 m at Lakeview
      2006-02-08 16:48 ET - News Release

      Mr. Robert Archer reports

CANGOLD INTERSECTS ZINC-SILVER-GOLD MINERALIZATION ON THE LAKEVIEW PROPERTY

Cangold Ltd.`s diamond drilling has intersected zinc-rich sulphide mineralization on the Lakeview property near Houston in the Omineca mining division of central British Columbia. The program was designed to test a known mineralized horizon for polymetallic sulphide mineralization similar to the Eskay Creek mine.

The Cangold drilling program tested the mineralized horizon at Lakeview at 50-metre centres over a strike length of 300 metres. Seven holes were drilled, comprising 798 metres, and all intersected the silica-rich, fractured-to-brecciated, rhyolitic mineralized horizon. The holes were drilled under both the northern and southern trenches but only holes LV-05-01 and 02, drilled under the north trench, intersected significant mineralization. While hole LV-05-01 returned a 9.33-metre intersection of 4.12 per cent zinc, hole LV-05-02 returned higher grades of zinc, silver and gold over a narrower interval. Sphalerite in both holes occurs as very fine, black, occasionally banded masses with 5 to 10 per cent fine pyrite and rare chalcopyrite.

      Significant results include:

      LV zone
Hole From To Zn Cu Ag Au
      LV-05- m m % % g/t g/t

      01 80.42 89.75 4.12 0.12 6.70 0.06
      inc. 84.00 88.92 7.31 0.18 10.5 0.09
      02 100.05 100.7 8.82 0.58 37.1 1.07

True widths are estimated to be about 50 per cent of core widths.

All holes were drilled at a dip of minus 45 degrees and oriented at 300 degrees, except LV-05-07, which was oriented at 330 degrees and drilled from the same site as LV-05-01. Drilling commenced at the north trenches and progressed along strike to the southwest at 50-metre intervals, with drill hole LV-05-06 being the most southerly. All analyses were completed by ALS Chemex of North Vancouver, B.C. -- zinc and gold by atomic absorption; silver and copper by ICP.

The only known drill hole to have previously intersected the Lakeview mineralization, in 1955, reportedly averaged 7.7 per cent copper, 0.6 per cent zinc, 141 grams per tonne silver and 0.85 g/t gold over 1.4 metres. This was a shallow hole drilled under the south trench and close to the same site as hole LV-05-05. The latter hole was deeper and intersected the mineralized horizon, but returned no significant values. This inconsistency, plus the lack of copper and enrichment in zinc in Cangold`s drilling compared with the historical drill hole, suggests that the mineralization is intermittent at this location and/or may be zoned, as is common in volcanogenic sulphide deposits.

Anomalous zinc and copper from soil geochemistry imply that the mineralized horizon extends for a strike length of 1.5 to 2.0 kilometres. The mineralization appears to be stratabound in nature and occurs near the contact between an andesite and rhyolite of the Telkwa formation, Hazelton group, Babine range. A limestone unit, previously described as being associated with the mineralization, was not observed in this drill program and is considered to be misidentified altered volcanic rocks.

Once the snow has melted, the property will be mapped and an electromagnetic geophysical survey will be considered to pinpoint thicker areas of the mineralized horizon prior to deciding whether to follow up with additional drilling.

Robert F. Brown, PEng, and vice-president, exploration, for Cangold, is the qualified person for the project, as defined by National Instrument 43-101, and has reviewed the results in this news release.

      NEWS !

GREAT PANTHER SHIPS CONCENTRATES FROM TOPIA SILVER-LEAD-ZINC MINE; UPDATES PROGRESS AT MINE

Great Panther Resources Ltd. has finalized the smelter contract and commenced the shipment of concentrates from its Topia silver-lead-zinc mine in Durango, Mexico, to the Penoles smelter in Torreon. Under the terms of the new contract, Great Panther's Mexican subsidiary will start to receive advanced payments from the smelter within 15 days of receipt of each shipment.

There are approximately 186 tonnes of lead concentrate and 150 tonnes of zinc concentrate stockpiled at the mine site (approximately 12 shipments), representing all of the production since the company restarted the plant in December, 2005. Since that time, throughput at the plant has been gradually increased from a nominal 20 tonnes per day at the start to the current 120 tonnes per day. As such, Great Panther is on track to reach its near-term production target for the Topia mine of 200 tonnes per day by midyear.

The concentrate is somewhat variable in grade as it has been produced from high-grade material from the mine, from low-grade dumps used to commission the plant and from three weeks of test milling the historical tailings in January (the testwork on the tailings achieved better results than those obtained in laboratory tests and the economics of reprocessing the tailings are being reviewed). Recoveries at the plant are currently averaging 87 per cent for silver, 88 per cent for lead and 85 per cent for zinc. While the mine laboratory can give qualitative analyses of the concentrate grades (excluding gold analyses), final results from the smelter will be required in order to know the exact metal content.

Great Panther has also purchased a 100-per-cent interest in a strategic claim that is contiguous with the existing Topia mine property. The 100-hectare Arco Iris concession contains portions of the strike extension and down-dip projection of the Dos Amigos vein that the company has already started developing on its own ground. In addition, the new claim contains much of the Don Antonio vein from which Penoles produced silver-lead-zinc in the past.

As reported in Stockwatch on Dec. 13, 2005, the Dos Amigos vein is located in the 1522 mine, approximately 150 metres in the hangingwall above the main Veta Madre. A ramp has been developed to access Dos Amigos below the main 1522 level and the vein is currently providing the bulk of the production from the mine. So far, in the month of March, production grades from this vein have averaged 432 grams per tonne Ag, 4.3 per cent Pb and 4.9 per cent Zn. While underground development continues in other portions of the property, the acquisition of the Arco Iris claim will allow the company to proceed unimpeded with the development of the Dos Amigos mineralization.

The first National Instrument 43-101-compliant resource report for the Topia mine is currently under way and should be ready by April. Furthermore, a 3-D model of the main mineralized zones is nearing completion and will greatly assist in mine development and exploration targeting.

Aspects of the Topia mine relating to mining and metallurgy are overseen by Francisco Ramos Sanchez, vice-president of operations for Great Panther and its Mexican subsidiary, Minera Mexicana El Rosario, SA de CV (MMR). Robert F. Brown, PEng and vice-president of exploration for Great Panther and MMR, is designated as the qualified person for the Topia project under the meaning of NI 43-101 and has reviewed this news release.

      Mr. Robert Archer reports

GREAT PANTHER RE-DISCOVERS SPANISH RICHES AT GUANAJUATO

Great Panther Resources Ltd.'s preliminary sampling at its Guanajuato silver-gold mine complex in Guanajuato, Mexico, has returned spectacular bonanza grades from the Valenciana mine. Silver (Ag) grades ranged from 1,100 grams per tonne (g/t) (32 ounce per ton) to 30,468 g/t (889 ounce per ton) and gold (Au) grades ranged from 19 g/t (0.6 ounce per ton) to 177 g/t (5.2 ounce per ton) in 27 selective grab samples taken by the mine staff. These results yield an arithmetic average of 11,036 g/t (322 ounce per ton) Ag and 62 g/t Au (1.8 ounce per ton). Using a silver to gold ratio of 60:1, this equates to a silver equivalent grade of 430 ounce per ton or a gold equivalent grade of 7.2 ounce per ton. The samples also contained, on average, 0.34% copper, 0.24% lead and 0.87% zinc.

      24 Mio US$ in 2007

Great Panther Commences Underground Drilling at Guanajuato

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jun 12, 2006 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --

GREAT PANTHER RESOURCES LIMITED (TSX VENTURE:GPR) is pleased to announce that underground diamond drilling has commenced at its Guanajuato Silver-Gold Mine in Guanajuato, Mexico. The program will comprise a minimum of 3,000 metres in approximately 45 holes but will likely be continued beyond that. The goal of the drilling will be to better define zones of silver-gold mineralization for production purposes and for the preparation of a NI43-101 compliant resource.

Initially, drilling will focus on the San Vicente North (SVN) area, on the northwest side of the Rayas Shaft (see longitudinal map on the Company's website at www.greatpanther.com for locations). This will be followed by at least 500 metres in 6 holes in the Guanajuatito - Encarnacion area in the northwest part of the mine property then 900 metres in 10 holes on the 275 metre level of the Rayas Shaft area.

At San Vicente North, 1,650 metres of drilling, in 28 holes, are currently planned to better define the silver-gold mineralization within a flexure in the Veta Madre Structural Zone in this area. The flexure is approximately 150 metres long and the mineralized silica breccia, along with silicified zones and stockworks in the hanging wall and footwall rocks are approximately 40 metres thick. This presents a zone of significant size potential for bulk tonnage underground development. Although this area has been partially mined by the previous operator, much of it has only been cross-cut by tunnels, thereby providing easy and quick access for future development.

The SVN drilling will be conducted on the 55, 75, 100 and 120 metre levels and will primarily target a zone of stockwork mineralization in the hangingwall conglomerate that appears to average approximately 30 metres wide by 100 metres along strike and 90 metres down-dip. This zone has been defined through an extensive program of channel sampling and geological mapping of the SVN area initiated by Great Panther in 2005 (and is ongoing). The program is being conducted on 12 levels from the 0 to 190 metre levels of SVN in order to confirm and expand upon the previous operator's sampling, and establish a comprehensive geological / structural understanding of the Guanajuato Mine. This channel sampling has focused on cross-cutting tunnels, stope walls, and pillars, and samples were spaced to represent as best as possible the geological units, structures and mineralization.

Of the 1,921 channel samples taken to date in this area, 620 (32.3%) had silver equivalent (AgE) values greater than 74.6g/t AgE (2.4oz/t AgE). These 620 samples averaged 220g/t AgE (4.9oz/t AgE) with a range of 74.6g/t AgE (2.4oz/t AgE) to 6,376g/t AgE (205oz/t). Silver equivalent values were calculated by using a 50:1 silver to gold ratio. To place the above values in context, previous operational costs (to 2005) at Guanajuato were in the neighbourhood of $30USD/tonne or approximately 110g/t AgE (3.53 oz/t AgE). A review of the detailed sampling and geological maps revealed that the higher values grouped into zones within the main silica breccia (Veta Madre) or within adjacent footwall and hangingwall stockworks (see schematic map on website). This is highly encouraging as it allows the Company to further define distinct zones by core drilling between the levels.

To the southeast of the flexure the Veta Madre mineralized zone has been extensively exploited over 5-10 metre widths. However, to the northwest of the flexure the Veta Madre is observed as being 5-10 metres wide in stopes on level 55 but is otherwise undeveloped and unexplored for approximately 200 metres horizontally and to the 190 level, 135 metres below. This gap will be tested by core drilling (700m) from surface in July 2006.

Presently, stopes are being developed on the 55 level of SVN to exploit the mineralization outlined in the sampling and mapping program. As these levels are accessible by ramp from surface, development and mining costs will be reduced.

In addition to the SVN area, extensive underground sampling and geological mapping has taken place in the Guanajuatito - Encarnacion area, where surface drilling is still underway, and in the Pozo de Nino area on the 275-280 levels of the Rayas Mine. Results from this sampling will be released in due course and the proposed drill holes in these areas will provide further definition of mineralized zones. Other areas planned for future evaluation are San Vicente South (SVS), including the Promontorio and Garrapata Shafts to the southeast; the Valenciana Mine; and at depth to the 345 level throughout the mine.

Samples were analysed at ALS Chemex in Vancouver, BC, initially by the ICP method; Fire Assay-Atomic Absorption method for silver (samples over 1,000g/t silver are then routinely assayed by a Gravimetric Method); and Fire Assay-Atomic Absorption method for gold. The underground diamond drilling has been contracted to BDW Drilling Mexico, of Guadalajara.

Great Panther owns a 100% interest in the Guanajuato Mine Complex and is in the process of placing the mines back into production. Historically, the Guanajuato Mine was one of the largest silver producers in Mexico and encompasses the core of the Guanajuato District, which has produced 1.2 billion ounces of silver and 4.5 million ounces gold.

Aspects of the Guanajuato Mine relating to mining and metallurgy are overseen by Ing. Francisco Ramos Sanchez, Vice-President of Operations for Great Panther and its Mexican subsidiary, Minera Mexicana El Rosario, S.A. de C.V. (MMR). Robert F. Brown, P.Eng. and Vice-President of Exploration for Great Panther and MMR is designated as the Qualified Person for the Guanajuato Project under the meaning of NI 43-101.

      Fazit:

Topia and Guanajuato together have a production potential of 4.0 million ounces of silver equivalent per year
by 2007. Since we began following Great Panther in November 2005, the share price more than tripled, but
with the Company well on its way to becoming one of Mexico's emerging silver producers, at a current market
capitalization of just Cdn$ 96 million, we still consider the shares to be strongly undervalued.
Our next price objective is: Cdn$ 2.50

Great Panther Extends Silver-Gold Mineralization at Guanajuato Mine

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Aug 17, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

GREAT PANTHER RESOURCES LIMITED (TSX VENTURE: GPR) is pleased to announce that the Company's Phase II surface diamond drilling program and extensive underground sampling have extended the limits of the silver-gold mineralization in the Guanajuatito-Encarnacion area of its wholly-owned Guanajuato Mine in Guanajuato, Mexico. Both the drilling and sampling are part of a comprehensive, ongoing exploration program at the Mine aimed at better understanding and delineating the silver-gold mineralization in this world class deposit.

The first part of the 2006 drill program, comprising 3,205 metres in thirteen holes, was completed under and northwest of the Guanajuatito ramp, and in the adjacent Encarnacion area along the trend of the Veta Madre, approximately one kilometre northwest of the famous Valenciana Mine (now owned by Great Panther). The program was designed to surround the 2005 drilling that intersected 692 g/t silver and 5.17 g/t gold over 5.8 metres and 1,096 g/t silver and 4.15 g/t gold over 2.5 metres (see News Release Dec. 1, 2005 and longitudinal section on Company web-site). A total of nineteen holes have now been drilled in this area at approximately 50 metre intervals, covering a strike length of 400 metres and a vertical extent of 100 to 150 metres.

The work to date in this northwest area of the Guanajuato Mine Complex has included the collection of more than 1,000 underground channel samples and is leading to a better understanding of the distribution of silver-gold mineralization. It has been observed that, while the Veta Madre quartz breccia is fairly consistent and is present in almost every hole, silver and gold grades vary somewhat, with higher grades tending to cluster in pockets with lower grade material in between, a typical feature of precious metal vein deposits. This is illustrated on the level plan maps on the Company website. As such, even low grade intersections of vein material in drill holes spaced 50 metres apart are important as they indicate the continuity of the zone. Continued detailed sampling underground and/or follow-up drilling on a closer spacing will be needed to better define the actual grade of the zone.

Significant results from the 2006 drilling include 2.87 metres of 651 g/t silver and 3.16 g/t gold in hole GTT-06-015, located approximately 50m vertically below GTT-05-005 (1,096 g/t silver and 4.15 g/t gold over 2.5 metres). Drill hole GTT-06-015 helps define a high grade zone of silver-gold mineralization below the Guanajuatito ramp in the section 2800N area (see longitudinal section). Drill hole GTT-06-014 intersected 9.5m of anomalous Veta Madre mineralization including 6.0 metres of 111g/t silver and 1.55 g/t gold under the Guanajuatito level +45 (mining formerly took place above level +45). Drill hole GTT-06-010 intersected 6.0m of anomalous Veta Madre with 1.0 metre of 82 g/t silver and 0.35g/t gold. GTT-06-010 is 40 metres vertically below the high grade GTT-05-004 (692 g/t silver and 5.17 g/t gold over 5.8 metres). Drill hole GTT-06-013 intersected 8.2m of anomalous Veta Madre while GTT-06-019 intersected a broad zone of silica breccia with 1.0 metre of 77 g/t silver and 0.59 g/t gold. This hole is 60m northwest of former mining on the Encarnacion sublevel 45. Details of significant intersections are listed below.

As in the 2005 drilling, two styles of mineralization were noted in the 2006 holes: silver-gold mineralization in the Veta Madre itself and a zone of gold-arsenic-antimony stockwork mineralization in the hanging wall. Although only the Veta Madre style has returned grades of an economic level so far, the stockwork style often contains anomalous levels of gold and will be evaluated underground to better understand the distribution of the mineralization.

      (i) designates results released Dec 1, 2005.

The drilling and sampling to date are starting to define a zone of silver-gold mineralization (the Guanajuatito Zone) that appears to plunge off to the southwest. This zone is approximately 200 metres along strike and could extend for at least 400 metres down-plunge as it appears to join up with mineralization intersected in deep drilling from the 1980's (see longitudinal section on website). Structurally, this appears to be a new trend to mineralization in the mine complex and may be related to the contact between a dioritic intrusive that forms the hanging wall in the Guanajuatito area and the "Guanajuato Conglomerate" which is the hanging wall unit along strike to the southeast.

Plan maps for the Guanajuatito +45 level and Encarnacion +15 level (all mine levels are referenced to the '0 metre' elevation at the access to the Rayas shaft) have been included on the Company website. Re-sampling of these levels (2450N - 2750N sections) returned some excellent values associated with the Veta Madre silica breccia. Mineralized intersections in GTT-06-013, 014 and 019 imply further potential in this area and have helped to define the western limits to the Encarnacion Zone, which appears to follow the more common southeast plunge and is open to depth. Continued evaluation of this part of the mine will be conducted from underground as is will be more cost-effective than drilling from surface.

On the Guanajuatito +45 level, 31.6% of the samples assayed greater than 55 g/t silver equivalent (AgE) using US$525/oz gold and US$10.50/oz silver. These samples averaged 178 g/t AgE (143 g/t AgE using an 80% historic mill recovery rate). On the Encarnacion +15 level, 57.1% of the samples assayed greater than 55 g/t silver equivalent (AgE) using the same prices. These samples averaged 231 g/t AgE (185 g/t AgE using an 80% historic mill recovery rate). On both levels, the higher grade values cluster into distinct zones as seen on the level plans.

The Guanajuatito ramp provides easy access to the mineralization throughout the Guanajuatito-Encarnacion area where only a minor amount of mining has taken place in the past. Further underground development is already underway and this part of the mine is providing about 150 tonnes per day to the mill. Underground mapping and sampling is continuing in this area and the surface drilling is continuing in the Animas and Promontorio area in the Cata and Rayas shaft areas to the southeast. Results for these areas will be released in due course.

Samples were assayed at ALS Chemex Labs in Vancouver and SGS in Durango and diamond drilling was contracted to BDW Drilling Mexico, of Guadalajara. The Company's QA/QC program includes the regular insertion of blanks, duplicates and standards into the sample shipments. Aspects of the Guanajuato Mine relating to mining and metallurgy are overseen by Ing. Great Panther Increases Production at Mexican Silver Mines
      11/23/2006

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Nov 23, 2006 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --
GREAT PANTHER RESOURCES LIMITED (TSX:GPR) is pleased to announce that production continues to increase at both of its 100% owned silver mines in Mexico. At the Topia Silver-Lead-Zinc Mine in Durango, the plant throughput has been increased from 120 to 160 tonnes per day with the commissioning of the second ball mill. Meanwhile, at the Guanajuato Mine Complex, the second ball mill has been operating intermittently as mill feed is gradually increased from the ongoing mine development. Total throughput at the Guanajuato plant has risen from 400 to 700 tonnes per day and will continue to increase into the New Year.

The third ball mill at Topia will be commissioned in early 2007 such that the plant capacity will continue to grow through next year. The original target of 200 tonnes per day should be attained in Q1 2007 with ultimate capacity anticipated to be in excess of 300 tonnes per day by late 2007/early 2008. The third mill at Guanajuato is currently being refurbished and it is anticipated that mine development will be sufficiently advanced by Q1 2007 to reach the full plant capacity of 1,200 tonnes per day later that quarter.

New underground development is also continuing at both mines. As announced on October 12, 2006, production from the Argentina vein at Topia is anticipated to begin in Q1 2007 and will build as high grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization is developed on multiple levels. At Guanajuato, new production has commenced from several stopes on the 345 level of the Rayas and Cata Mines, while mining continues in the San Vicente and Guanajuatito areas.

The 34-hole surface diamond drilling program has been completed at Guanajuato and final assay results from the Promontorio area near the southeast property boundary are pending. Drilling in the Guanajuatito and Animas areas have already identified significant silver-gold mineralization that is available for immediate development. All of the mineralized intercepts from the surface program at Guanajuato will be incorporated into the first NI43-101 compliant resource report, which is expected to be received in the first quarter of 2007.

      News:

Great Panther Commences Diamond Dril 12/18/06 13:26:00

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Dec 18, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

GREAT PANTHER RESOURCES LIMITED (TSX: GPR) is pleased to announce that a 5,000 metre diamond drilling program has commenced at the Company's Km 66 Project in northeastern Durango State, Mexico. The 3,508 hectare property hosts significant silver-lead-zinc-gold mineralization with excellent potential for a large bulk tonnage deposit.
Initially the drilling program will focus on infilling and confirming previous Coeur d'Alene drilling results (core and reverse circulation methods) in the Palmitas and La Gloria Zones. These two zones contain a NI 43-101 compliant inferred mineral resource of 5 million tons grading 58 g/t Ag, 0.81% Pb and 1.3% Zn at a 50 g/t cut off AgEQ cut-off (22.3 million ounces silver equivalent(1)), as recently estimated for Great Panther by Wardrop Engineering (news release September 11, 2006). One area to be tested will be between Coeur d'Alene core holes #6 and #11, spaced 80 metres apart in the western end of the Palmitas Zone. Drill hole #6 returned 36 metres averaging 66.9 g/t Ag, 0.24 g/t Au, 1.09% Pb, and 1.04% Zn; while hole #11 returned 29 metres averaging 51.0 g/t Ag, 0.19 g/t Au, 0.84% Pb, 0.54% Zn and a separate 33.4 metres averaging 104.6 g/t Ag, 0.13 g/t Au, 1.68% Pb, and 1.21% Zn.
Great Panther geologists have also been re-mapping the surface geology, re-sampling surface trenches and completing plans, sections and a 3D model of the above zones. The mineralization at Km 66 is associated with hydrothermal breccias and stockworks related to a cluster of rhyolite domes that intrude the Cretaceous Caracol Formation.
The diamond drilling program will be conducted by BDW Drilling of Guadalajara, Mexico. Robert F. Brown, P.Eng. and Vice-President of Exploration for Great Panther and its wholly owned subsidiary, Minera Mexicana El Rosario, S.A. de C.V., is designated as the Qualified Person for the Km 66 Project under the meaning of NI 43-101 and has reviewed this news release.
      (1) 22.3 million ounces silver equivalent calculation formula from Wardrop Engineering is as follows: AgEQ equals ((Ag g/t/34.2857 X 0.76 X 6.95) + (Au g/t /34.2857 X 0.7 X 432) + (Pb% X 20 X 0.8 X 0.42) + (Zn% X 20 X 0.8 X0.63))/6.95 X 34.2857

      @ all

42,9 US/tonne gekommen.

GPR - Great Panther extends Gold-rich Zones with Surface Drilling
      at Topia Mine

GREAT PANTHER RESOURCES LIMITED (TSX: GPR) is pleased to announce that
surface drilling in portions of the Animas vein at the Company's 100%
owned Topia Silver-Lead-Zinc Mine in Durango, Mexico is continuing to
demonstrate good gold grades. The best intersection in this phase of
the program, from hole ST07-36, returned 2.58 g/t Au over 2.50 metres,
while individual samples in other holes returned assays up to 12.70 g/t
      Au.

Current mining on the Animas vein is being conducted on three levels,
1420, 1430, and 1550 (note that levels are named according to metres
above mean sea level, so level 1550 is 130m higher than level 1420).
Underground sampling from levels 1430 down to 1380 showing excellent
gold grades was reported on October 12, 2006 and the surface drilling
is designed to test the vein along strike and to depth. Drill holes
ST06-030, 031, and 032 targeted the Animas vein east of the 1430
workings, and below the 1550 level. All three holes were successful,
with the best intersection in ST06-032 of 2.43g/t gold, 315g/t silver,
0.9% lead, and 9.0% zinc over 0.4m (see summary of results in the table
      below, and
      http://www.greatpanther.com/i/pdf/Topia_SurfaceDrilling_Mar0…
on the Company's web-site for drill hole location map).
Drill hole ST06-033 was a test of the Animas vein at depth, and
intersected the vein at approximately the 1300 metre level, well below
      existing workings, with 2.85 g/t gold and 42.9 g/t silver over 0.55m.

Approximately 350 metres along strike to the east of these holes,
ST07-034 and 035 intersected the Animas vein at the 1400 level in a
previously untested area, returning low grade values in both drill
holes. A further 200 metres east, hole ST07-036 intersected a
silicified breccia zone returning 2.58g/t gold over 2.50 metres, as
mentioned above. This brecciation likely occurs along the Animas vein
structure, and will be further drill tested, both for the extent of the
      brecciation, and veining.

Hole ST07-037 was drilled east of a major fault and no recognizable
structures were identified. ST07-038 did not reach its primary target,
the Veta Madre, but did intersect a parallel, although very narrow
(0.08m) structure, potentially the Hipolito vein, which returned
0.57g/t gold, 1080g/t silver, 2.8% lead, and 1.1% zinc. Due to the
high silver grade of this vein, it will be tested farther along strike
to see if it widens out.

In addition to the Animas vein drilling, the eastern and depth extent
of the Veta Madre was targeted by two holes. Hole ST07-039 was lost
due to bad ground but ST07-040 intersected the Veta Madre, returning
      5.08g/t gold, 149g/t silver, 2.6% lead and 0.8% zinc over 0.6m. Follow
up drilling is planned around this intersection.

The ongoing surface drilling program at Topia, in conjunction with the
underground drilling, is designed to double the NI 43-101 resources by
the end of the year. The first NI 43-101 resource for the mine,
reported on December 28, 2006, contained 3,625,603 oz of Ag Equivalent
in the Measured and Indicated categories and an Inferred Resource of
      1,418,900 oz of Ag Equivalent.
