The Lynas LAMP Visit.
Wilhelm who heads the analytical laboratories safety management department at the Karlsruhr Institute, he said Lynas had given a very open presentation and had addressed their problems well.
Today’s the big day. Everyone whose anyone in the rare metals sector and in Malaysia today, is in Gebeng, Kuantan, visiting Lynas’ Advanced Materials Plant. The fact finding pilgrimage is led by Malaysia’s Parliamentary Select Committee investigating granting Lynas the temporary operating licence. They are expected to report back to Parliament shortly, possibly as early as next week. I find it hard to believe that they can do other than find in Lynas’ favour.

Continued Engagement With The Public Necessary, Say Rare Earth Expert
KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Bernama) -- Rare earth experts say Lynas has been very open and direct in its response to misconceptions about the company's rare earth plant in Gebeng, Kuantan.
They understand that people have their own perspectives of things, and feel that further communication and continued engagement are necessary for the public to understand the processes involved and the potential of the industry.
At the end of the day, facts matter, they say.
Alastair S. Neill, a leading rare earth expert from Canada and Executive Vice-President of Dacha Strategic Metals, said: "You cannot question other people's perception because everybody has his own perspective, his own viewpoint.
"But at the end of the day, it has to come down to the facts and numbers and fact-based information," he told Bernama during a visit to the Gebeng plant Tuesday in conjunction with the International Rare Earth Symposium, organised by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), where he was a guest speaker.
---- The experts were briefed by Lynas Malaysia Sdn Bhd management team, led by Managing Director Datuk Mashal Ahmad.
Neill said the briefing was very professional and that Lynas was trying to be as open and direct as possible in tackling misinformation about the plant.
Lifton said he was impressed with the safety and sophistication of the plant. "The plant is a big complex and people don't usually understanding things that are bigger than they are," he said.
Chun who is director of the state key lab of rare earth materials chemistry and applications at Peking University, said Lynas should communicate better with the public and convince them why it had came in, what it would introduce and why the future would be bright.

Habe mir das schreiben noch einmal genauer angesehen. Auch wenn es ein reines Formschreiben sein soll ist mir das Wort " prejudge " aufgefallen. Heißt auf deutsch soviel wie " vorgreifen "!
Kann doch sein, das man sich hinter verschlossener Tür schon vor länger Zeit abgesprochen hat und die Entscheidung schon feststeht.
Lynas ist noch nicht zu 100% fertig wie ich es mitbekommen habe! Wäre es nicht möglich, das man den Zeitpuffer nutzt, um einen politisch besseren Zeitpunkt versucht zu finden, damit die Probleme verkleinert werden, die man mit Anti Lynas & Co hat?!
Den man kann doch nur das Wort " vorgreifen " nennen, wenn eine Sache beschlossen ist und man nur Rücksicht auf einander nimmt!
Vielleicht ist die Mail einmal so verfasst worden, damit man zwischen den Zeilen ließt!? Das würde aber auch bedeuten, das die TOL zu 100% kommt und zwar dann, wenn es für beide Parteine ( Lynas und PM ) am günstigsten ist!
Die Frage ist jetzt nur, wann ist der günstigste Zeitpunkt! Auf jedenfalls ist er es nicht mehr für Lynas, wenn die LAMP komplet fertig gebaut worden ist! Daher kann es eigentlich nicht mehr all zu lange dauern. Ist nur meine Meinung!

Da muss ich noch ein paar dazu kaufen, um in die erste Gilde aufzurücken.
Aber ganz soviel fehlen bald nicht mehr. Zweite Reihe bin ich schon wohl. Bekomme aber auch nur Mails von Gloria.

ich gluecklicherweise nicht mehr. Habe meine Alk/NGC... vor ein paar Wochen mit "kleinem" Gewinn verkauft, inzwischen ist im letzten Monat ALK ca. -20%, NGC ca. -8%, MCP ca. -28%, GWG ca. -14% runter...
da steht LYNAS mit -5.83% noch halbwegs gut da
