RICHMOND, BC, Jan. 26 /CNW Telbec/ - Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX.V - TLG) is pleased to report that the work during the past year has allowed the Company to achieve its objective, and TLG will take the next steps in moving to production.he Contractor for the next phase of underground work at Skukum Creek is presently on the site. As previously reported, the initial phase of work consists of excavation of drifts and raises on the Rainbow Two and Berg zones outlined in the diamond drilling. These workings will be sampled and will demonstrate horizontal and vertical continuity of the mineralization in the zones. In addition, three cross-cuts will be driven to the north from the Ridge Access Drift to provide a platform for additional drilling on the extensions of the Rainbow Two and Berg zones.
Since the up-dated mineral resource estimate should be available in the near future, the Company will be in a position shortly to award the contract for the full Feasibility Study, based on the technical information being developed and using prices of US$475 and US$7.50 for gold and silver respectively. Work is currently underway on various aspects of the feasibility study to provide the additional technical information necessary to refine the project. As presently envisaged, the Feasibility Study will be based on a lower cut-off grade of 4g/t gold equivalent, an annual throughput in the plant of 300,000 tonnes per year, with projected annual production of close to 50,000 troy ounces of gold and of 1,200,000 troy ounces of silver.
As previously reported, the Environmental Assessment Report is being prepared by the Company's consultants. The Assessment Report is a thorough review of all aspects of the project and its impact, and has not identified any serious environmental issues. The Report will be filed early this year to initiate the Production Permitting process.
The Company will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Carcross/Tagish First Nation (CTFN) on January 29, 2007 at a reception at the Empire Landmark Hotel in Vancouver. We are particularly pleased to be working with the CTFN, and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the CTFN.
The Company has arranged a non-brokered private placement of 1,000,000 common shares at $0.155 per share for gross proceeds of C$155,000.00 with one of its directors. The offering is being made on a private placement basis pursuant to registration and prospectus exemptions of applicable securities laws and is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange. All securities issued will be subject to a four month restricted period and will bear a restrictive legend accordingly. Net proceeds from the offering will be used for working capital. This private placement was arranged in place of warrants held by the director that were exercisable at $0.15 until January 13, 2007.

Momentan sind die Ressourcen ja noch etwas dürftig, ich gehe aber davon aus, das wenn wir die feas sehen es schlagartig nach oben geht, ausserdem wird ja schon wieder gedrillt.
Ich denke dieser Wert kann es leichter schaffen zum Producer zu werden als viele andere. Eine eigene Mühle haben sie bereits, zwar nur eine 300 und die aktuelle Planung geht von einer 700er aus, aber sie haben eine.
Die Feas ist bereits finanziert und auch so macht das Unternehmen einen ganz guten Eindruck. Regelmässige Fortschrittsberichte, gut Drillergebnisse. Scheinen ein paar ganz nette Erzadern vorzuliegen.
Mal sehen wie es weitergeht.

This work will allow the Company to estimate resources in the measured and indicated categories on these zones. It will also provide essential information on appropriate mining methods for the zones. As well, three crosscuts are being driven north from the Ridge Access Drift to provide a platform for additional drilling on the vertical extensions of the Rainbow Two and Berg zones.
As part of the Quality Assurance program on assays received for samples from the drilling program, check samples were sent to an independent laboratory. A number of the results were significantly different (and mostly higher) from the original results. This necessitated sending samples to a third lab for confirmation. The results from the third lab generally confirmed the original results. This has delayed the up-dating of the mineral resource estimate. A preliminary resource estimate is now being prepared by the independent consultant.
The Company will then be in a position to award the contract for the full Feasibility Study, based on the technical information being developed and using prices of US$475 and US$7.50 for gold and silver respectively. Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX.V - TLG) With the increase in silver recoveries to over 75% allowing a lower cut-off grade, and the addition of resources from the Rainbow Two and Berg zones, the measured and indicated resources at Skukum Creek are now estimated to be 1,020,000 tonnes at 6.39 g/t gold and 180 g/t silver and the inferred resources are 155,000 tonnes at 5.55 g/t gold and 113 g/t silver, both at a 4 g/t cut-off grade. The Rainbow Two and Berg zones are currently estimated to contain 110,000 tonnes at 8.8 g/t and 108 g/t as indicated resources and 81,000 tonnes at 8.4g/t gold and 100g/t silver as inferred resources. These zones remain open. Additional drilling will be undertaken after the drill cross-cuts in the present underground work program are complete.
Mr. Robert Rodger, President of the Company, stated: "The resource presently estimated at Skukum Creek together with the potential to add to this resource from additional underground work and diamond drilling on the extensions of the known zones provide a sound basis for proceeding to production.
The resource estimate is being prepared by Douglas Roy, P.Eng, of MineTech International Limited, a qualified person under NI 43-101.
The resource estimate for the Rainbow Two and Berg zones being prepared by MineTech will be posted on Sedar on receipt and acceptance of the 43-101 compliant report.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 32.135.530 von dosco12 am 24.10.07 16:20:51Mir hat damals gefallen, dass sie mit der First Nation vernünftig verhandelt und auch eine 43-101 kompatible Ressourcenschätzung im Schrank haben. Mit den Finanzierungen und der damit verbundenen Verwässerung muss man sich bei einem Explorer dieser Größe wohl abfinden. Sehe TGL auch eher als Langfristplay mit guten Aussichten, die Ressourcenbasis signifikant zu erhöhen. Derzeit aber eher eine Schlaftablette, zugegeben - wenn man sie mit dem Hype um die ganzen area plays in McFaulds vergleicht (NOT, BMK, UC.....)....

aber mir gefallen sie ganz gut. ich habe mir drüben welche geholt... die pp kommen immerhin zu 10% über dem aktuellen kurs raus. der umsatz an der börse ist dagegen ein witz...
mal schauen, was man so rausfindet in den nächsten wochen.
