Rambus is poised to make a very significant upside move with the next new "fundamental"news.
The "character" of the trading in Rambus has changed significantly over last two years. The "on balance volume" is at an all time new high surpassing the 2000 and earlier 2007 peaks even though the stock price is below both. All that's necessary for Rambus to make this next move is to have the legal offense continued to unfold in its favor. The marketplace is making the educated assessment that events will unfold in Rambus's favor and Rambus will be able to collect for its intellectual property.
It appears that the marketplace, along with most of this board , is expecting the current timetable of legal developments in the patent infringement cases and the antitrust case to resolve the issue of whether or not Rambus will be paid for its intellectual property by the infringing parties in the relatively near future.
The size of the move was surprised almost everyone and Rambus will be covered in the business and financial news thoroughly. It will be the next hot stock.
I have not seen a technical chart, on a company with a nearly $2 billion market cap, it looks like this since QUALCOMM in 1999.
I want to say thank you to all the very knowledgeable posters whom have provided me with the legal, marketplace and other fundamental developments in real time at this the 'Rambus clearinghouse' a.k.a. InvestorVillage message board.
