Die Idee war ja dass ein schlechtes Unternehmen überproportional von eine Goldpreisanstieg profitiert.

1) Eine Gewinnwarnung weil man
dass das Produktionsziel in den Goldbetriebsstätten in Südafrika für das zum 31. Dezember 2018 endende Geschäftsjahr um 6 % auf zwischen 36.500 kg und 37.500 kg (1,17 Mio. Unzen und 1,21 Mio. Unzen) gesenkt wurde.
2) Man hat die Produktion der für 2 Mrd USD gekauften Stillwater Klitsche als Royalties verkauft

Die Banken stützen SBGL mit gewaltigen Kreditlinien (600 Mio. USD + Option auf weitere 150 Mio.) und im Zweifel schießen die vermutlich noch zu. Das wird aber wohl den Aktionären nichts nützen.
Der H1-Bericht kommt am 23.08. Bin gespannt auf die Höhe des Verlusts.

Sibanye-Stillwater says all employees’ bodies recovered at Kloof Ikamva mine

JOHANNESBURG, June 14 – Sibanye-Stillwater said on Thursday mine rescue teams had located and retrieved the body of a fifth worker killed after a suspected gassing accident at its Kloof Ikamva mine.
“The bodies of all five employees who entered an abandoned area on Monday have now been recovered and sadly five colleagues lost their lives in this tragic accident,” it said.
“The board and management of Sibanye-Stillwater wishes to express its sincere condolences to friends and family of the deceased employees and those impacted by this devastating loss of lives.”
The workers died due to poor ventilation at the abandoned shaft near Westonaria, south-west of Johannesburg.
Kloof mine is a shallow to ultra-deep level gold mine consisting of five producing shaft complexes that mine open hound and pillars with the deepest operating level some 3,347 meters below surface.
Sibanye said a thorough investigation by management, the department of mineral resources and other stakeholders would be conducted into the incident. ANA
