90 Per Cent Increase in Measured & Indicated Resources for LPI’s Maricunga Stage One Lithium Project

Updated Measured and Indicated resource for the Maricunga Stage One Lithium Brine Project in Chile confirmed an increase by 90 per cent compared with 2019 Definitive Feasibility Study.
Measured and Indicated (M&I) resource now estimated as 1,905,000 tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE) for the Stage One (Old Code) mining properties at an average grade of 953 mg/l lithium.
This increase in M+I Resources is in addition to the M+I Resources (2018) of 184 Kt Lithium (979 Kt LCE) in the Litio 1-6 (New Code) concessions to a depth of 200 m.
The Maricunga resource remains open at depth, with a new exploration target for further resource expansion between 400m-550m in the Stage One concessions.
The DFS update for the Stage One continues as expected by Worley, GEA Messo and Atacama Waters.
The latest drilling for the resource increase on the Stage One mining concessions at Maricunga has been completed, with the five exploration core holes each reaching target depth of 400m.

Habe aber weder verkauft noch nachgekauft.Der Spread ist einfach viel zu groß und das Handelsvolumen passt leider auch nicht so recht.
Wird Zeit, dass sich einer die Firma einverleibt.

der die BRZ heute früh 60 % zu billig ins BID verkauft hat.
( Und hoffe eher es war ein Käufer von hier )

BEARING ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT
Bearing Lithium Corp. has arranged a non-brokered private placement of 8,932,500 units of the company at a price of 18 cents per unit for gross proceeds of $1,607,850. Each unit shall consist of one common share and one transferable share purchase warrant. Each warrant shall entitle the holder thereof to purchase one additional share at a price of 24 cents per share for a period of 30 months from the date of issuance. In the event that the shares have a closing price on the TSX Venture Exchange (or such other exchange on which the shares may be traded at such time) of 45 cents or greater per share for a period of 15 consecutive trading days at any time from the closing date, the company may accelerate the expiry date of the warrants by giving notice to the holders thereof (by disseminating a news release advising of the acceleration of the expiry date of the warrants), and, in such case, the warrants will expire on the 30th day after the date of such notice.
One insider of the company is participating in the private placement and will acquire an aggregate of 582,500 units. The participation by the insider in the offering is considered to be a related-party transaction as defined under Multilateral Instrument 61-101. The transaction is exempt from the formal valuation and minority shareholder approval requirements of MI 61-101, as neither the fair market value of the securities being issued, nor the consideration being paid exceeds 25 per cent of the company's market capitalization.
Finders' fees of $44,820 in cash and 249,000 warrants on the same terms as noted above will be paid in connection with the private placement to qualified parties. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the private placement for general working capital purposes and to finance capital calls of the Maricunga project joint venture.

Bearing Lithium Corp. has appointed Kwang-Seok Park to its board of directors as the new nominated POSCO representative.
Mr. Park received his PhD in environmental science and engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology in 2010. He was the lithium project leader with the Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology from 1996 to 2018. He has been with POSCO in various departments as leader in the lithium technology development group, general manager of the brine lithium extraction TF team and he is presently the leader of the POSCO lithium business planning group. The company looks forward to his contribution to the board of directors.
Mr. Park replaces Bok-Hyung Lee as its POSCO lithium business director. Mr. Lee resigned on June 28, 2021, and we thank him for his contributions to the company and wish him further success in his new endeavours.

Strategische Allianz mit Mitsui

Die Wahrheit ist, dass es weder für SQM noch für Codelco Sinn macht, in ein völlig neues Projekt zu investieren. SQM steckt seine Resourcen in den Ausbau seiner Atacama-Anlage, da deren Erweiterung einen besseren ROI abwirft als ein green field project. Gleiches gilt für Codelco, die in ihre Minen für Kupfer investieren, das preislich durch die Decke geht. Beide Wunschpartner sind also vollauf damit beschäftigt, ihre Produktion an anderen Standorten auszubauen.
Dass man nun zwangsläufig einen Plan B verfolgt, überrascht daher nicht. Mitsui ist sicherlich nur zweite Wahl, können sie doch nicht wie Codelco oder SQM mit einschlägigem know-how oder der Tatsache, dass es sich um chilenische Firmen handelt, aufwarten. Ob ausländische Partner von der chilenischen Politik über die aktuelle Legislaturperiode willkommen sind, kann man als fraglich bezeichnen. Darüber hinaus ist die bekanntgegebene Allianz bisher eine reine Absichtserklärung mit vielen Optionen aber ohne Verpflichtungen. Da überrascht kaum, dass weder die LPI- noch die BRZ-Aktie groß profitiert.
