Allerdings liegt das im aktuellen Trend in den USA. Bei Exxon Mobil sind es z.B. so 1.5 (P/B), von OXY z.B. ganz zu schweigen (fast 3).
Vielleicht stört sie auch das abnehmende Produktionsprofil, was aber maßgeblich mit dem Verkauf des North Park Basin of Colorado im Februar zu tun hatte. Allerdings kann sich das wieder ändern:
During the second quarter of 2021, we began returning wells to production that were previously curtailed due to the commodity price downturn in the first half of 2020 and, in many cases, improving their production potential through modest capital improvements.
Focused efforts to improve operating costs, along with commodity prices rebounding from their 2020 lows, have bolstered the economics of these well reactivation projects.
nebenbei: möglicherweise ist SandRidge Energy seit letzter Woche schuldenfrei; siehe 8K vom 3.9.:
--> diese approximately $20.0 million würden zu den USD20m Long-term debt zum 30.6. passen
Damit hätte SandRidge nur noch die üblichen Current liabilities (und was man so bei O&G hat, wie Asset retirement obligation etc.). Das Working Capital ist sowieso satt im Plus.

Ab jetzt wartet nur noch das Gap bei USD14 vor dem nächsten VaP-Widerstand bei ~USD15. Jener liegt aber schon länger zurück:

The era of cheap natural gas is over, giving way to an age of far more costly energy that will create ripple effects across the global economy.
Natural gas, used to generate electricity and heat homes, was abundant and cheap during much of the last decade amid a boom in supply from the U.S. to Australia.
That came crashing to a halt this year as demand drastically outpaced new supply. European gas rates reached a record this week, while deliveries of the liquefied fuel to Asia are near an all-time high for this time of year.
With few other options, the world is expected to depend more on cleaner-burning gas as a replacement to coal to help achieve near-term green goals. But as producers curb investments into new supply amid calls from climate-conscious investors and governments, it is becoming apparent that expensive energy is here to stay.
“No matter how you look at it, gas will be the transition fuel for decades to come as major economies are committed to reach carbon emission targets,” said Chris Weafer, chief executive officer of Moscow-based Macro-Advisory Ltd. “The price of gas is more likely to stay elevated over the medium-term and to rise over the longer-term.”
By 2024, demand is forecast to jump 7% from pre-Covid-19 levels, according to the International Energy Agency. Looking further out, the appetite for liquefied natural gas is expected to grow by 3.4% a year through 2035, outpacing other fossil fuels, according to an analysis by McKinsey & Co.
