Falcon Butte Minerals Corp. ("Falcon Butte" or the "Company") is pleased to announce it has entered into an exploration and earn-in agreement ("Agreement") with Freeport-McMoRan Exploration Corporation of Phoenix, Arizona ("Freeport"), in respect to the Company's Butte Valley porphyry copper prospect in White Pine County, Nevada (the "Butte Valley project").
Under the terms of the Agreement, Freeport has the exclusive right and option to acquire up to an 80% interest in the Butte Valley project by sole funding exploration expenditures up to US$33,000,000 in two stages.

Da wurden die Konditionen zur KE nochmal angepasst und natürlich nicht zum besseren.

Drilling will target shallow (0-200 m), high-grade Ag-Au-Pb-Zn mineralization at multiple targets including Chinchilla, Juniper and Broken Egg (Figure 2) with the objective of defining multiple shallow-oxide mineralized zones with open-pit potential.
The Company acquired a ‘backpack’ drill rig in Q3 2022, which is operated by Ridgeline’s geologists and capable of drilling up to 20 m deep core holes (see photo HERE). Initial scout holes at the Broken Egg and Juniper targets returned:

Successful results at the CRD target announced today combined with the Company’s recent acquisition of historical high-grade Ag-Au results at Juniper (see June 8, 2022 press release) highlight the need for mineralized zones at the project to be drilled with diamond core drilling methods. As a result, the Company has halted its reverse circulation (“RC”) drill program at Selena that was operated under its strategic drilling contract with Envirotech Drilling LLC, in order to transition to core drilling. Core drilling services will be provided by NISS LLC and is anticipated to begin in August 2022. The Company’s strategic contract with Envirotech drilling will remain in effect and Envirotech will continue to provide RC drilling services as needed.

The Swift drill program started in November of 2021 but wasn't complete until mid-January (2022). these are deep time consuming drill holes and the Christmas break slowed things down even more. The samples were logged, cut, and sent off to the lab early February and my understanding is we should expect assays to start trickling in soon. We will announce results from this hole as well as guidance on the expected 2022 exploration plans at Swift as soon as we have the chance to review the data with our partners at NGM. Ps...Dirtwork starting at Selena tomorrow for our first drill program of 2022!
