Der mit unter führende B2B-Anbieter Commerce One (CMRC) wird gemeinsam mit acht Großinvestoren die neue Niederlassung Commerce One Middle East gründen. Die neue Niederlassung wird dabei B2B-Lösungen in den Regionen um Algerien, Ägypten, Jordanien, Kuwait, Libanon, Marokko, Oman, Saudi Arabien, Tunesien und in der Türkei anbieten.

Der Hauptsitz der neuen Gesellschaft soll dabei in Dubai sein. Über die Partnerfirmen, welche am Aufbau der Niederlassung beteiligt sein werden, wurde zunächst nichts bekannt. Experten erwarten bis zum Jahr 2003 ein Marktvolumen im Bereich B2B von über 1,3 Billionen US-Dollar.
