Wer kennt den Wert "The Panda Projekt" ?
Ich habe die Aktie vor einem Jahr gekauft. Mittlerweile steht sie bei 0,09 Euro.
Wer hat News darüber oder wer weiß wo man News in deutsch darüber bekommt ?

Hallo Henryh !

Ja genau, das ist die Aktie die ich meine. Ich habe schon seit längerem keine News mehr gehört und weiß auch nicht genau
wo ich News herbekommen soll. Vielleicht gibt es ja auch irgendwo deutsche News ? Weiß jemand etwas über den zukünftigen
Geschäftsverlauf ? Die Aktie stand letztes Jahr oder anfang dieses Jahres schon mal auf 0,70 Euro. Ich hoffe diese Werte werden
auch bald wieder erreicht. Was meint ihr dazu ? Habt ihr auch Aktien von Panda und bei wieviel seid ihr eingestiegen ?
Ich freue mich auf Antwort !

Hallo Firstecom !

Du scheinst ja ziemlich begeistert zu sein. Hast du dich schon näher mit dem Wert befaßt ? Ich hab schon mehrmals
versuch eine E-Mail an Panda zu schicken, aber sie konnte nie zugestellt werden. Wer weiß etwas über die Zukunftspläne von
Panda ? Da der Kurs schon mal auf 0,70 Euro war, denke ich, bzw. hoffe ich, daß er mal wieder diese Werte sieht !
Was meint ihr dazu ?

Ein Tip:
Lasst bloss die Finger von der Aktie.
Seit Monaten kein Umsatz mehr, die Patente wurden verkauft und langsam besteht die Firma aus vielleicht noch 5 Mitarbeitern.
Alleine die unzustellbare Mail würde mir zu denken geben.
Ich persönlich beobachte die Aktie bereits seit 5-6 Jahren, da war sie noch bei über 50 USD!!!!!!!!!!
Wenn jemand investiert und zockt, dann muss ihm das Geld völlig egal sein, denn die Wahrscheinlichkeit einen Totalverlustes ist extrem hoch.

Natürlich gibt mir die nichtzugestellte Mail zu denken !
Aber zumindest hat Pande eine Internetseite (schon mal etwas)
Am Jahreanfang stand die Aktie schon mal bei 0,05 Euro und ich hatte mein Geld schon abgeschrieben.
Dann stieg sie aber bis auf 0,70 Euro. Ich weiß auch nicht was da los war. Ich hoffe natürlich, daß sie nochmal
so hoch steigt, damit ich dann verkaufen kann.

Ich habe gehört, daß Panda jetzt eine Beteiligungsgesellschaft sei. Weiß jemand mehr ?
Wer weiß wo man aktuelle News bekommt ?
ich wäre euch sehr dankbar für eure Tips !

Hi Ivanauskas,
folgende Info habe ich gefunden:


Recall that about a year or so ago Panda decided to sell "substantially all assets and intellectual property" to the newly formed "Silicon Bandwidth", in exchange for SBI assuming many (but not all) of Panda`s liabilities/debts. Panda would also receive 10% of the equity of SBI, in the form of preferred shares in it. SBI was to be "capitalized at $6M", but was not a publicly traded company. Taken at face value, this would suggest that Panda`s equity stake in SBI would be worth about $600K, though whether it would be worth more or less, and whether that value might be easily realizable, would of course be open to discussion.

Panda acknowledges in their most recent 10-K that they will essentially exist for the sole purpose of holding this investment (passively). They had 20-ish employees at 31 Dec 99, and 5 employees as of the 10-K filing date, and stated that they intended to have fewer employees (2 or 3?) Real Soon Now. Shortly thereafter, Stanford and Melissa Crane resigned.

I have serious doubts as to whether this preferred equity stake in SBI has any real value, and I question why such a complicated deal was fabricated -- why not just acknowledge a year or two ago that the jig was up, and fold the whole thing up? Unless you happen to still be short the stock and have a secure borrow, in which case you might be able to defer recognizing that PNDA stock is "substantially worthless" for some time yet. It`s a pretty thin market for that stock though...

Reading the various sequences of events and discussions in the 10-K is really, really interesting reading for anyone who has analyzed and followed the company in the past. There`s a certain amount of schadenfreude in it all I suppose, but this is certainly a case of where we shorts were 100% dead right on just about everything. One thing that suprised me and still baffles me though is the significant complexity of various stages of the story -- there are a lot of plot twists that either I simply do not understand (or perhaps they truly are irrational??).

On April 17, 2000, Stanford W. Crane, Jr. resigned as the Company`s
President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Mr.
Ahearn was elected President and Chairman of the Board of the Company.
Additionally, Melissa F. Crane resigned as the acting Chief Financial
Officer. Mr. Ahearn appointed Mr. Friedline as the Vice President of
New Business Development.

Somewhat astounding (to me, anyhow), is that this thing (PNDA stock) still trades at all. They now hold a small position in a company of small (but questionable and difficult to determine) worth, have no operations, exist chiefly for the purpose of holding that investment, have a negative shareholders equity otherwise, recently had $43K garnished from one of their bank accounts, was down to 5 employeees (before the resignation of two, above), and have at least 58M shares outstanding.

Vielen Dank für deine Mühe !
Ich denke, daß ich das meiste verstanden habe. Das würde bedeuten, daß ich meine Wohnung
mit den Aktien Tapezieren kann. Oder, daß ich die nächste Zeit kein Toilettenpapier mehr kaufen muß.
Tja, schade, schade, schade. Es hätte so schön sein können !
Aber ich hoffe auf ein Wunder, denn: Wunder gibt es immer wieder ! (ist aber sehr unwahrscheinlich !)
