Die Gewinnwarnung der letzten Woche war schlecht. Da gibts nichts schönzureden. Wenn also nur ein viertel des angestrebten Gewinns erreicht wird, wie gross ist dann der gerechte Kursabschlag ? Etwa 75% ??? Der Kurs jedenfalls bewegt sich unbeirrt auf ein derartiges Niveau.War die Gewinnwarnung nur eine Delle in der Geschäftsentwicklung, oder hat Entrust echte Probleme ? Der in der Gewinnwarnung angegebene Grund ist nicht sehr aussagekräftig.
Ist Entrust am Ende bevor die Zukunft gegonnen hat ? Die digitale Signatur und sonstige Kursphantasien trieben den Kurs bis unmittelbar vor dem Kurssturz und erwischte jeden auf dem falschen Fuss. Das Interesse ist vorerst verflogen. Es fragt sich wie lange.

Hab meine Einstellung zu Freitag geändert, 3-6 Monate wird auf gesunder Basis nichts zu holen sein. Ich beackere andere Felder, z.B. PXCM - die stehen sehr gut im Chart und haben keine Gewinnwarnung rausgegeben.
Was auf jeden Fall noch kommen wird ist dies:

The case is pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division, located at 100 East Houston, Marshall, Texas 75670.
Named as defendants in the complaint are Entrust, John A. Ryan (President and Chief Executive Officer), David L. Thompson (Chief Financial Officer), and Brian O. Higgins (Chief Technology Officer).
The complaint charges defendants with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder. The complaint alleges that the defendants issued materially false and misleading information concerning, among other things, the Company`s financial and operating condition and the Company`s prospects. For example, as alleged in the complaint, on defendants misrepresented Entrust`s revenue growth, particularly the revenues that Entrust was deriving from its key public infrastructure business and that Entrust would post 2Q 2000 EPS of $0.08 per share. As a result of these misrepresentations, Entrust`s common stock was artificially inflated throughout the Class Period to a high of $82.75.
Defendants were motivated to inflate the price of Entrust stock in order to complete the $703 million stock-for-stock acquisition of enCommerce. On July 5, 2000, two days after the close of the enCommerce acquisition, defendants revealed that Entrust was experiencing rapidly declining revenues, would not meet its earnings projections and was experiencing significant problems in growing its business. In response to these disclosures, the price of Entrust stock collapsed, plunging more than $40 per share to as low as $34-3/8.
Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of all those who purchased or otherwise acquired Entrust securities during the Class Period.
If you purchased or otherwise acquired Entrust securities during the Class Period, and either lost money on the transaction or still hold the securities, you may wish to join in the action to serve as lead plaintiff. Soviel heisse Luft wie bei der Seekuh da entweicht, kann es bei Entrust gar nicht gegeben haben.
Das sehe ich nichtso ernst, habe zwar noch keine ENTU`s, die Amis klagen aber gegen alles und jeden....

Danke für die Info. Ich kann die Klage nicht ganz nachvollziehen und deswegen auch nicht ernst nehmen. Die Klage hat doch keinerlei Substanz, oder was meint ihr ? Sehe ich das falsch ? Die blosse Ankündigung allerdings war Grund genug für den heutigen kräftigen Verlust. Nunmehr dürfte wohl alles schlechte im Kurs enthalten sein.

Das mit den Klagen hab ich letzte Woche schon gehört, ist also nicht neu, evtl. heute offiziell...
Das dauert Monate bis sich Entust von diesem Kursdesaster erholen wird (wenn überhaupt). Aktien die dermassen verprügelt werden, haben bei den Fondsmanagern in der Regel keine Chance - die machen aber den Kurs.
Wer noch investiert ist, sollte sich entweder auf eine lange Leidenszeit einstellen oder sofort verkaufen (ich weiss, tut verdammt weh) und in vielversprechender Werte investieren (Tipp : WIRELESS).
