VA Linux Entwicklung unsicher - Nordinvest
Die Analysten stehen der Aktie des Software-Herstellers VA Linux Systems (WKN 929398) weiterhin skeptisch gegenüber.

Das Papier sei kurz nach dem sensationellen Börsenstart Ende des vergangenen Jahres eingebrochen und hätte sich seitdem schwach entwickelt. Nach Auffassung des Portfolio-Managers Jürgen Ruther zeigt die Geschäftsidee zwar Phantasie. Die Ertragslage des Unternehmens bleibe jedoch fraglich, da das Produkt über das Internet für jedermann kostenlos erhältlich sei.

Mit ihrer irrationalen Einstellung hätten sie eine Linux-Euphorie erzeugt, die sich auf dem Aktienmarkt nicht gehalten habe. Linux stelle auf dem Gebiet der Netzwerkbetreibung durchaus eine gewisse Konkurrenz zu Windows dar und schneide bezüglich Datensicherheit gut ab, während Windows-NT in diesem Bereich Lücken aufweise. Auch der Kern des Betriebssystems sei stabil, allerdings könne der überwiegende Teil der Privat-User mit den kleinen Fehlern von Microsoft leben. Die Produkte von Microsoft seien besser auf den Hausgebrauch zugeschnitten, wobei man sie als komplette Ausrüstung im Geschäft erwerben könne.

Die Produkte von Linux seien im Gegensatz dazu wenig populär und könnten nur über wenige Betriebswege erworben werden. Red Hat beispielsweise biete die Linux-Varianten auf dem breiten Markt an. Aber gerade Computer-Laien würden das Rundum-Angebot von Microsoft vorziehen. Linux sei eher ein Angebot für PC-Spezialisten und gewerbliche Nutzer. Diese Käufergruppen würden die Software größtenteils kostenlos aus dem Internet herunterladen und böten damit keine Einnahmequelle für Linux-Distributoren.

Auf dem Markt für Privatnutzer würde Linux klein bleiben, da die Einnahmen nicht ausreichen würden, um die Unternehmen dieser Branche aus ihrer gegenwärtigen Marktstellung zu bringen. Der Vorteil von VA Linux und anderen jungen Softwaregesellschaften sei der geringe Personalaufwand. Allerdings hätten sich einige von diesen Firmen unter anderem mit hohen Werbeausgaben verkalkuliert. Momentan finde auf dem New-Economy-Markt ein Ausleseprozess statt. Außerdem müsse noch berücksichtigt werden, dass der Linux-Distributor mit seinen Produkte in einer Marktnische agiere. Die Kursentwicklung sei zudem von den Managementqualitäten abhängig.

Da kann man mal sehen, was Analysten für einen Schwachsinn schreiben.
Die haben offenbar das Geschäftsfeld von VA linux überhaupt nicht untersucht, oder sind zu blöd es zu verstehen. Außerdem hat Linux Microsoft im Serverbereich längst abgehängt. Hier geht es nicht darum ob sich Müller, Meier, Schulze nun Linux oder Windoof kauft.
Es ist nicht zu fassen, aber so etwas nennt sich Analyst!!
