ich denk mal das grosse problem was ich zur zeit hab,ist das ich ne gewisse anzahl von aktien habe auf die ich achte.
man hat halt seine erfahrungen damit gemacht und ist nicht offen für neues oder fremdes.
ich werd mich in zukunft noch mehr umsehen müssen um erfolgreich zu sein,denn so wie dieses jahr läuft
darf es nicht weitergehn.

die zahlen hat onvista von von www2.barchart.com/sectors
top 100 stocks abgekupfert. tolle charts, wenn man den mist
vom neuen markt damit vergleicht. bin selbst in einigen dieser werte investiert ( SCRI, BPRX, BASI, ATVI, ASCA,PRX)
und bisher sehr zufrieden. doch vorsicht!
fast alle dieser aktien notieren am ath. in keinem fall,
sollten diese werte in deutschland geordert werden. eine
tägliche überprüfung und verfolgung ist erforderlich.

ich suche aktien, die sich auch im schwierigen umfeld,

Bradley Reports on New Prescriptions, New Managed Care Contracts and
New Patents

FAIRFIELD, N.J., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Bradley Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BPRX - news), announced today that the
Company`s major brands continue to have significant increases in new prescriptions and have expanded their managed care
national formulary base. In addition, the Company announced that Bradley`s leading brand received a new patent.

New prescriptions, generally accepted by the industry as the predictor of future sales, have been rapidly increasing for all key
promoted Bradley brands. New prescription data for July 2001, supplied by IMS Health, an independent marketing research firm
used by most major pharmaceutical companies, show that prescriptions for CARMOL®40 potent, yet gentle, tissue softener,
continued its dramatic growth, increasing by 149% over July 2000. PAMINE® antispasmodic/anticholinergic also experienced
significant growth, with an increase of 135% over a year ago. Continued significant growth was shown by the other Bradley
promoted focus products, and the Company is on target to reach its goal of 400,000 new prescriptions in 2001.

Additionally, Bradley received a new patent for CARMOL®40 for nail treatment use, alone or in combination with an antifungal
formulation, to soften nails and thereby improve treatment for nail fungal infections, such as onychomycosis. It is estimated that the
topical antifungals market encompasses approximately 5.6 million prescriptions and sales of $380 million. The Bradley
management team anticipates that, after launch, this product could initially capture 1% - 5% of this market.

IDEC-Medikament wird von FDA geprüft


Eine Beratungs-Kommission der US-FDA prüft am Dienstag das Medikament Zevalin der IDEC
Pharmaceuticals Corp. Bei der Marktzulassung folgt die Gesundheitsbehörde üblicherweise der
Empfehlung ihrer Berater.

Das Präparat wird intravenös verabreicht und trägt radioaktive Strahlung in den Körper. Es sucht
bestimmte chemische Verbindungen von Krebszellen und überträgt die Strahlung an die Zellen.
Gegenüber der bisherigen Behandlung mit äußerlichen Strahlen hat Zevalin mehrere Vorteile: Das
Medikament kann gleichzeitig mehrere Tumore bekämpfen und beschädigt keine gesunden Zellen.
Weiterhin dauert die Therapie wesentlich kürzer. Ein bedeutendes Risiko stellt aber die mögliche
Reduzierung der weißen Blutkörperchen dar. Dadurch wird das Immunsystem geschwächt.

Die Aktien stiegen an der Nasdaq um 1,6 Prozent und schlossen am Freitag bei 57,61 Dollar.

Johnson & Johnson Completes Acquisition of Inverness Medical Technology`s Diabetes Care Products Business

Apollo mit mustergültigem Trendkanal

Eine der Perlen im Nasdaq100

Dass die Aktien der Apollo Group dem Nasdaq100 untergliedert sind, ist schwer zu
glauben. Der Blick auf den Chart zeigt in allen Zeitebenen eine Aufwärtstendenz des
Spezialisten für fortgeschrittene Ausbildungsprogramme. Und tatsächlich ist die Aktie
technisch gesehen unter die Créme-de-la-Créme der Nasdaq100-Unternehmen zu
ordnen. Warum sollte man als Investor auch nicht einmal ein Auge auf etwas
unbekanntere Werte werfen?

Seit Anfang 2000 – der Beginn eines dramatischen Kursverfalls für viele
High-Tech-Unternehmen – haben die Apollo-Anteile einen Aufwärtstrendkanal
geformt. Das untere Ende des Kanals, der schon mehrmals angetriggert wurde,
verläuft derzeit bei 40 Dollar. Und vermutlich führt der Kanal die Kurse noch weiter
bergauf.




Ein bearishes Signal ergibt sich dann, wenn die Anteile die untere Gerade des
Aufwärtskanals deutlich unterbieten. Dann ist das Ziel wahrscheinlich zunächst die
langfristige Aufwärtsgerade (grün), die augenblicklich bei 32 Dollar liegt. Von einem
solch negativen Szenario sind die Apollo-Papiere jedoch meilenweit entfernt.

Der Tageschart illustriert überdies eine mittelfristige Aufwärtstrendlinie (blau). Die
Kurse ringen derzeit mit der bei 44,80 Dollar verlaufenden Gerade. Fällt die
Trendlinie, folgt vermutlich ein Rutsch bis auf die untere Gerade des Trendkanals.
Bisher hält sich der Aufwärtstrend aber tapfer.




Nur zwei Widerstandsmarken hat Apollo zu überwinden. Zum einen der Bereich um
46,10 Dollar und zum anderen das All-Time-High bei 50 Dollar (rot). Danach heißt es:
„The limit is the sky.“ Unterstützung offerieren die Zonen um 43 Dollar, um 40 Dollar
und um 33,10 Dollar.

Der Trendbestimmungsindikator Aroon und auch der 21er-AMA deuten auf einen
Seitwärtsmarkt. Deshalb ist das Signal des ProjecionOscillators wichtiger. Derzeit
sendet der Kurzfrist-Oszillator ein Verkaufssignal. Ebenso generiert der MACD ein
Verkaufssignal. Die Umsätze zeigen keine deutliche Tendenz.

Fazit: Mittel- und längerfristig besitzen die Anteile weiter Potenzial. Der Trendkanal
zeichnet den Weg vor. Wird das All-Time-High bezwungen, dürfte eine zusätzliche
Kursdynamik einsetzen. Kurzfristig sind die Aussichten laut Markttechnik nicht so
bullish. Solange aber der Kanal intakt ist, ist die Welt für die Apollo-Aktionäre in
Ordnung.

Das amerikanische Internetmarketing-Unternehmen LookSmart legte seine Zahlen zum abgelaufenen
ersten Quartal vor.

Der Umsatz lag über den Erwartungen, so LookSmart. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum musste
jedoch ein deutlicher Rückgang von 28,03 Mio. Dollar auf 20,05 Mio. Dollar verzeichnet werden.
Der Gewinn exklusive Abschreibungen und Sonderaufwendungen belief sich auf 2,8 Mio. Dollar oder
3 Cents je Aktie was über den Analystenerwartungen von 1 Cent je Aktie liegt.

Die Aktie verlor 10,6 Prozent auf 3,35 Dollar.

United Online Net Loss Narrows, Subscribers Up

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Internet service provider United Online Inc.(NasdaqNM:UNTD - news) said on Thursday its net loss in
the latest quarter narrowed from the previous quarter, driven by an increase in paying subscribers and cost cutting.

The company, created by NetZero Inc.`s purchase of rival Juno Online, also posted a profit before charges in
the fiscal third quarter, one quarter earlier than it last projected due to a pick-up in business and merger savings,
Chief Executive Mark Goldston said in an interview.

The Westlake Village, California-based company saw its stock price rise in after-hours trade after it reported
that its net loss narrowed to $7.3 million, or 19 cents a share, in its fiscal third quarter ended March 31 from a
loss of $15.7 million, or 41 cents a share, in the second quarter.

Year-earlier comparisons were not available because the two companies had not yet merged a year ago.

Before merger-related and other charges, United Online reported a pro forma profit of $609,000, or one cent a
share, compared with a loss of $6 million, or 16 cents a share, in the second quarter. Revenue rose 6 percent to
$50.9 million from the second quarter.

The company grew its paid subscriber 9.5 percent to 1.6 million from 1.46 million in the second quarter. It had a total active subscriber base of 5.2 million, down
from 5.6 million in the second quarter as it imposed limits on free users.

"Overall, it was a solid quarter," said FAC/Equities analyst Youssef Squali, who has a neutral rating on the stock. "The number of free users has come down
dramatically, which may mean they are squeezing their freebies to upgrade. It`s good short-term but long-term you wonder how much they can do to keep growing
their customer base."

United Online shares rose 25 cents during regular trading to close at $10, and were up $1 in after-hours trade. The shares have more than doubled since the
beginning of the year.

Wall Street analysts, on average, expected a third-quarter loss of 10 cents a share and revenue of $49.8 million, according to Thomson Financial/First Call.

"What is happening is this market is commoditizing," Goldston said in an interview. "You have a lot of pressure with people with premium prices so brands like ours
with $9.95 price point... I think our message is really starting to pick up. We did run new advertising in January and that has really worked. We again reported in
excess of 100,000 new subscribers."

The company`s larger rivals such as EarthLink Inc. (NasdaqNM:ELNK - news) and market leader America Online -- both of which charge more than double
United Online`s price -- are struggling with flat to contracting dial-up subscribers as they also try to grow their high-speed businesses.

Although United Online has struck a deal to offer high-speed services over cable with Comcast Corp.(NasdaqNM:CMCSK - news) , its primary focus has been
the dial-up business. It plans to launch service on the cable system in Nashville and Indianapolis in the next four weeks.

OUTLOOK

For the calendar year ending Dec. 31, United Online expects pro forma earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $19 million to $22 million
and expects its total subscriber base to grow 20 percent to 24 percent, up from its previous target of 15 percent to 18 percent.

For the June quarter, United Online plans to add 70,000 to 90,000 new paid subscribers for a total of 1.67 million to 1.69 million. It aims to grow revenue 2 percent
to 4 percent from the third quarter.

Goldston expects paid services to comprise 90 percent of its revenue during the fourth quarter, with average revenue per subscriber -- a key metric for Internet
service companies -- to remain in the $9.60 to $9.70 range for the quarter.

Before charges and other items, Goldston said he sees fourth quarter EBITDA of $4.7 million to $5.7 million and net income, including charges, of $1 million to $2.1
million, or two to four cents a share.

"We definitely see more visibility," Goldston said. "The business is becoming more predictable. The user base is becoming very solid because so many of them are
paid users and the merger synergy we talked about are significantly ahead of schedule."

He said the company is now actively looking for other acquisitions with its $132 million in cash.
