Hartcourt Funding Agreement Increased to $35 Million

LOS ANGELES, Jan 5, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Hartcourt Companies Inc.
(OTCBB:HRCT) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Swartz
Private Equity, LLC of Atlanta, for an additional $10 million equity line
funding, thus increasing the total funding from Swartz to $35 million. The
reason for the increase was the planned
acquisition of a Linux Internet operation in China.
The financial agreement calls for a private equity line for the purchase of
common stock, subject to registration and certain other conditions and
limited to a percentage of dollar trading volume. The financial agreement
will help satisfy working capital requirements of Hartcourt for the year
2000 and will enable Hartcourt to make additional acquisitions of strategic
Internet related operations. Hartcourt`s mission is to become the leading
Internet company in Asia.
During 1999, Hartcourt announced the formation of its subsidiary,
Sinobull.com, which is set to IPO in the Spring of 2000 with Ernst & Young
preparing the IPO business plan. Sinobull will be made up of several
Hartcourt entities including Financial Telecom Limited (FTL), the leading
financial data bank of Hong Kong; UAC Online Stock Trading, the first and
only natiowide Online Trading company in China; Guo Mao, a major real-time
financial data provider in Shanghai; StreamingAsia.com Ltd., the leading
Internet software company in Hong Kong; and Shangdi Network of Beijing, one
of three owners of Hua Xia Info, the financial data arm of Hua Xia
Securities, the second largest and best-known brokerage firm in China.
Hartcourt, like Chinadotcom (Nasdaq:CHINA) is one of the first American
companies to establish a strong foothold in the Chinese Internet industry.
Hartcourt has also signed a Joint Venture agreement with Innostar Hi-Tech of
Beijing to create the first national network of wireless ISP and IP phone
service. The operation will utilize the bi-directional KU bands of a Chinese
satellite to connect high-density buildings, offices, colleges and hotels in
China.
Swartz Private Equity, LLC is an investment entity focused on equity
investments in Internet and other high technology companies.

``The country`s important government ministries will not permit the use of Microsoft Windows 2000 on their computers,`` the newspaper quoted officials as saying.
The ministries would instead use ``Red Flag - Linux,`` a new software platform developed by Chinese researchers and based on upstart operating system Linux, the newspaper quoted the officials as saying.
Weaning China away from reliance upon Microsoft software would be the Information Age equivalent of China`s invention of the atomic bomb and launch of its first ballistic missile and the satellite, it said.
``Maintaining independence and keeping the initiative over our own operating system will be the `Two Bombs and Satellite` of the new era,`` it quoted the officials as saying.
Windows is still far and away the dominant operating system for personal computers in China. While piracy is rampant -- reaching a rate of more than 90 percent by some estimates -- the Chinese government has said it uses legally registered copies.

Du scheinst ein schlechtes Gedächtnis zu haben... meine Postings waren alles andere als inhaltsleer und ohne Fakten... vielleicht waren sie nicht angenehm zu lesen, aber daß Phan seine "Dr." gekauft hat ist nunmal Fakt gewesen... und dieser Punkt war mir eben sooooo wichtig, daß ich darauf herumgeritten bin... habe ja recht behalten... ;-)
Und ja... das Traden war höchst lukrativ... ;-)
Und nein... kein Basher, kein Pusher, sondern Mensch mit offenen Augen und genug Rückgrat meinen Standpunkt selbst zu definieren und nicht auf Lemminge zu hören... vielleicht checkst Du mal meine "ganz" alten postings zu HRCT... die waren durchaus überaus positiv...
Und meinen guten direkten Draht zu Phan und HRCT/ENOVA pflege ich immer noch kräftig weiter... im Gegensatz zu den ganzen hirnlosen Pushern hier recherchiere ich eben selbst... und fahre damit prima... solltest Du auch mal machen, dann wärest Du nicht mehr so frustiert...!
Aber bleib Du ruhig bei Deinen Scheuklappen... selbige von Dir und vielen anderen Dumpfbacken haben mir VIELE Shares zusätzlich eingebracht... Macht bitte weiter so...!

Zuerst die 85000 shares vom Freund in der Dresdner Bank jetzt die direkten Kontakte- erzähl es jemand anderen, der deinem Intellekt entspricht!

Geduld zahlt sich aus, ich habe mich in den letzten Tagen an keiner Diskussion beteiligt, weil ich mir sicher bin, das den jetzigen kurzfristigen Schwankungen in Kürze eine permanente Aufwärtsbewegung folgen wird.
Der asiatische Markt ist ein absoluter Zukunftsmarkt, der alsbald auch Rendite abwerfen wird, die jetztigen Kursschwankungen werden primär durch Daytrader/Shorttrader und verunsicherte Anleger verursacht.Davon sollte man sich klarer Weise nicht verunsichern lassen.
Der bisherige Abwärtstrend wird heute von einem Aufwärtstrend abgelöst, wohl dem der niedrige Kurse zum Kauf nutzen konnte, die nächste Woche wird einiges Neues und Interessantes bringen und auch der Kurs wird entsprechend dem Aufwärtstrend wieder deutlich steigen.
HRCT ist ein Zukunftswert, man sollte allerdings dieses unseriöse Boardtheater endlich mal beenden, es ist absolut lächerlich.
