Starnet Announces Home Gambling Network Lawsuit Dropped
ST. JOHNS, Antigua--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 2000--Starnet Communications International Inc. (OTCBB:SNMM - news; ``Starnet``), is pleased to announce the withdrawal of a patent infringement lawsuit by Home Gambling Network, Inc. (``HGN``) against Starnet. The suit was originally filed by Melvin Molnick in the United States District Court, District of Nevada in March 1999.
Meldon Ellis, president and chief executive officer of Starnet said, ``As we have consistently stated, this suit was without merit. The withdrawal of the suit validates our business model and establishes beyond reasonable doubt that our online gaming operations do not impinge upon Mr. Molnick`s patent.``
