2070 in D startet.
Dieses Jahr wird wahrscheinlich nichts mehr passieren.

TEAM Entertainment to Partner With Pearson Television on its Original Comedy Game Show Strip ``So You Think You`re Funny``
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 17, 1999--
Hilarious Budd Friedman Late Night Comedy Series Set to Debut Fall 2000 With Pilot Launch at Upcoming NATPE
TEAM Entertainment, the production arm of TEAM Communications Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:TMTV) has sold its new comedy series, So You Think You`re Funny
to Pearson Domestic Television. The half-hour late night comedy game show strip, created by the Improv`s Budd Friedman, the "father of modern stand-up
comedy," and TEAM Entertainment, has planned a launch into U.S. syndication and international television for Fall 2000, it was announced today by Drew S.
Levin, TEAM`s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, and Robert Turner, Chief Executive Officer and President, Pearson Television North
America.
So You Think You`re Funny is a fast-paced, sidesplitting comedy game show that highlights the best of today`s upcoming comedic talent chosen from Budd
Friedman`s Comedy Clubs across America. The series, shot before a live audience at the world famous Harrah`s resort in Las Vegas, "pits" two audience
contestants, each with their own team of three boisterously entertaining comedians, in a multi-round battle to see who`s funnier. Ultimately, the most important
judge of all--the audience, decides the winner. Dubbed by Team Entertainment as the "gong show for comedians," So You Think You`re Funny will be
co-executive produced by Drew S. Levin and Budd Friedman, the legendary comic patron who introduced the world to numerous superstar comedians such as
Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler and Jerry Seinfeld. TEAM Senior Vice President of Development and Production Jane Sparango, will serve as supervising producer.
TEAM Entertainment and Pearson Television are jointly financing the pilot and the series
"This is comedy in its finest form--it has that Budd Friedman magic touch - So You Think You`re Funny is a hilarious, cutting edge new concept in late night
television and has the ability to attract and hold audiences worldwide," said Levin. "The series offers a full 30 minutes of non-stop laughter and promises to be
appointment television for any audience, any where," added Levin.
"As the preeminent game show company, we were immediately drawn to So You Think You`re Funny. TEAM Entertainment has created a series that has two
things audiences crave--big laughs and fierce competition," commented Turner. "We are confident that advertisers and stations alike will be drawn to this
inevitable winner."
So You Think You`re Funny will be available to screen at the upcoming NATPE. Pearson Television will be handling the U.S. syndication and TEAM
International Distribution, headed by Co-presidents Larry Friedricks and Paula Fierman, will initiate the international sales efforts. TEAM Entertainment
Germany`s Sebastian Lentz will be holding discussions with German networks and comedy club owners for a simultaneous German launch. Noel Cronin, head of
the company`s new U.K. operation, TEAM Dandelion, Ltd., will spearhead the sales and launch activities for the U.K. marketplace.
Pearson Television is a division of Pearson plc, the international media group that owns, among other things, The Financial Times, Penguin Putnam Books and the
collective resources of Addison Wesley Longman and Simon & Schuster Education Publishing, now known as Pearson Education. With the acquisition in
November 1997 of All American Communications Inc., Pearson Television is the world`s largest international producer of entertainment and serial drama, with
over 150 programs on six continents. In addition to its extensive production output, Pearson Television sells its comprehensive catalogue to over 100 territories
through its subsidiary, Pearson Television International.

...ich glaube Montag könnte irgendwie ein guter Einstiegszeitpunkt sein! bischen ärgelich habe wohl leider etwas verfrüht eine kleinere Position aufgebaut.
