Und genau darin sehe ich die größte Gefahr!!!

Jeder fragt sich, ob die Kurse steigen oder fallen nach Eröffnung in NY und verkauft oder kauft dementsprechend - typischer Lemmingeffekt. Mit dem Unterschied, daß morgen der Orderstau von mehreren Tagen eine Hebelwirkung auf die Tagesperformance haben wird - rund um den Globus.

Die erste Zuckung der Indizis dürfte deshalb eine Kauf- oder Verkaufslawine auslösen - keiner will etwas verpassen.

Unterbewußt wissen aber alle:

Es wird kräftig runter gehen, da die fundamentale Entwicklung der US- und der Weltwirtschaft schon seit Wochen den Beginn einer Weltwirtschaftskrise erkennen läßt. Die Katastrophe letzte Woche hat da nur eine zweitrangige beschleunigende Wirkung auf die Gesamtentwicklung.

Also bleibt einem nur Eines: In krisensichere Werte zu investieren, deren Zahl stark begrenzt ist.

SEC beschließt Sonderregeln für Wiedereröffnung der US-Börsen

Die US-Börsenaufsicht SEC hat für die geplante Wiederaufnahme des Handels an den US-Börsen am Montag Sonderregeln beschlossen, mit deren Hilfe Ängste der Marktteilnehmer vor heftigen Kursausschlägen und Liquiditätsengpässen gemildert werden sollen.


Die SEC teilte in der Nacht zum Samstag mit, börsennotierten Unternehmen würden zeitweilig Aktienrückkäufe gestattet, ohne dass die sonst geltenden Beschränkungen bei den Volumina und bei den Zeitvorgaben gelten würden. Zudem hätten Aktienrückaufe nicht die sonst üblichen negativen Konsequenzen in der Bilanzierung, erklärte die SEC. Vor der Mitteilung hatten bereits der weltgrößte Netzwerkausrüster Cisco Systems und das Finanzunternehmen H&R Block angekündigt, sie planten den Rückkauf eigener Aktien.

Die Wall Street wird den nach den Terroranschlägen vom Dienstag ausgesetzten Handel erst am Montag um 9.30 Uhr Ortszeit wieder aufnehmen. Dies ist die längste Handelsaussetzung an der New Yorker Börse seit 80 Jahren. Zuvor wollen die New York Stock Exchange und die Nasdaq am Wochenende noch einen Test ihrer Systeme durchführen. Bei den Anschlägen waren am Dienstag das World Trade Center (WTC) im Herzen der US-Finanzmetropole New York zerstört und das US-Verteidigungsministerium in Washington beschädigt worden. Die Wall Street liegt nur wenige Blocks vom Katastrophen-Zentrum um die eingestürzten Türme des WTC entfernt.


Die Börsenaufsicht teilte weiter mit, Fondsgesellschaften könnten zudem auch verbundenen Parteien Kredite geben und von ihnen Gelder leihen. Auch seien die Vorschriften für Board-Sitzungen der Gesellschaften gelockert worden. Die SEC werde die Markteröffnung am Montag genau beobachten, hieß es weiter.

Recession drumbeat gets louder
Terrorist attacks severely affect an already wobbly economy as fears of slump spread

DETROIT -- The crashing of hijacked jetliners into the World Trade Center and Pentagon is likely to trigger the first U.S. recession in 10 years and possibly the first global recession since 1974, most economists say.
Even before the deadly attacks on the nation`s pre-eminent financial and military edifices, the nation`s economy -- in a growth mode since the end of the Gulf War in 1991 -- was on increasingly shaky ground.
With each new economic report, economists waxed and waned over whether the economy was headed for a downturn or just a prolonged soft landing.
In just 55 horrible minutes Tuesday, questions about the economy`s direction were answered for many.
"Like what happened 11 years ago, there`s going to be a lot of uncertainty," said David Littmann, chief economist of Comerica Inc. in Detroit.
"Until we have some resolution, which doesn`t seem like it will happen short-term, it`s going to push out the strength and timing of the recovery."
The terrorist attacks in New York and Washington are likely to buckle consumer confidence, the sole remaining crutch upon which the listing economy rests, he said.
The debate among economists today is focused largely on how severe the retreat will be. Many forecasters expect the recession to last through the holiday shopping season and into next year.
But the severity and length depends greatly on whether the attack turns into a war and what happens to oil prices.
Certain industries will feel the brunt of the attack, with repercussions that will last beyond the general downturn, analysts said.
Among them are airlines, insurance, travel and financial services. The auto industry, Michigan`s economic pillar, is likely to be adversely affected as well.
Already on Saturday, Northwest Airlines said it was cutting its flight schedule by 20 percent and considering layoffs.
Continental Airlines said it was trimming its flight schedule by 20 percent and furloughing 12,000 employees -- more than one-fifth of its payroll -- because of an expected drop in air travel.
"These actions are a direct result of the current and anticipated adverse effects on the demand for air travel caused by this week`s terrorist attacks on the United States and the operational and financial costs of dramatically increased security requirements," Continental said in a statement.
The nation`s fifth largest carrier said it had seen a drastic drop in bookings since Tuesday`s terror attacks. In addition, many corporations have instructed their employees to avoid U.S airlines, the carrier said.
The next batch of bad news will probably come Monday with the reopening of the stock markets, closed for four business days, said Tyler Shumway, assistant professor of finance at the University of Michigan.
He believes investors will quickly sell their holdings in the industries most affected by the attack. But he feels the sectors will bounce back or, at least, their stock prices will. That`s the usual market response to catastrophes past.
"The market will drop 5 to 10 percent on Monday," Shumway said. "Even if 80 percent of everyone decides not to sell out of patriotism, the others that do sell can drag it down."
He expects the market rebound within a week and remain down around 3 or 4 percent.

Some remain confident
Not all analysts believe the economy is facing imminent collapse. Some feel shoppers will return to stores in their usual numbers once they`ve recovered from the shock of the bloody attacks.
They said the damage to industries, as tragic and numbing as it was, registers little more than a blip in America`s $10 trillion economy.
Some businesses even hold out hope that the attacks may spark an economic recovery, much like the attack of Pearl Harbor rallied the nation behind its entry into World War II.
Perhaps the most patriotic thing an American can do right now is to buy something, said Michael P. Niemira, economic research head at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. And not just flags but computers, washing machines and cars.
"I think the consumer can play a role in healing the economy," he said.
He said customers will want to feel like they`ll be helping the economy and will be responsive to stores that promote shopping as a way to ward off recession.
But many economists seemed dubious about a phoenix rising from the debris along the Eastern Seaboard. The terrorist attacks on U.S. soil are different, they said. The enemy isn`t as easily defined, or found. Not even a war may vanquish them.
And the terrorist act came at a vulnerable time for the U.S. economy. Many indicators of economic health nose-dived even before the attack.
Industrial output had been slowing for 10 months. After growing 1.3 percent in the first quarter, it crawled 0.2 percent in the second.
Businesses had pulled in their investments. The stock market had been falling since January. Unemployment, which had been holding steady, jumped from 4.5 percent to 4.9 percent in August.
An ongoing survey by the University of Michigan found that consumer confidence sank to its lowest point in 81/2 years in September. The survey was conducted before the attacks.
"Economic growth in the near future will be weaker than previously anticipated," said Sung Won Sohn, chief economist for Wells Fargo Bank in Minnesota.
He said the attack will drag U-M`s consumer confidence ratings even lower.
Even before jetliners became guided missiles spilling blood on American soil, uncertainty and volatility ruled the financial day.

Lid on spending
In Metro Detroit, residents on Friday didn`t seem to be in any hurry to spend their money.
At the Oakland Mall, Darra Dooley, 18, a Wayne State student, said the only reason she was at Sibley`s was to buy her boyfriend a birthday present. Otherwise, she would have stayed home to continued watching television coverage of the disaster.
"I come here quite a bit," she said. "But since Tuesday I`ve just stayed at home watching the news. It`s amazing that something that happens so far away can affect you so much."
Another shopper at the mall said he was only there to eat, not buy something.
Joe Reyes, 43, told his wife not to accompany him because he doesn`t want her in a public place. They`ve become too dangerous, he said.
Reyes, a small businessman, said his business has been slow the past week.
"No one`s buying anything," he said. "People are staying away. Shopping just isn`t on people`s minds."
Other businesses in Metro Detroit said they were alarmed that their sluggish business would extend through the holiday shopping season.
In Livonia, the owner of several e-commerce Web sites said people were buying essential items but staying away from big-ticket ones.
"Business is a lot slower," said Tom Nardone, president of Isdera Corp. "What happened Tuesday has brought a lot of sobriety to people and their spending and their budgets."
But he said he believed business would slowly return to normal.
Analysts will be keeping their eyes on several sectors in the next few months.

Die beiden profitablen Beteiligungen von UI, 1&1 und Twenty4Help würden für sich betrachtet ein KGV von 10 anhand der Halbjahreszahlen ergeben, und das bei hohen Wachstumsraten. Einige andere Beteiligungen sind defizitär, hier lautet die Firmenpolitik jedoch: schneller Break-Even oder Verkauf/Stillegung, was mit einer Reihe von "Pommesbuden" auch schon durchgeführt wurde. In zwei Jahren wird man über die heutigen Niedrigstkurse den Kopf schütteln.

man sollte auf NIEMANDEN hören. Man sollte sich Werte suchen, die zu allen Zeiten eine gute Dividendenrendite garantieren bzw. deren Geschäft starkes Wachstum zu verzeichnen hat, unabhängig irgendwelcher zyklischer/einmaliger Entwicklungen.
