Ich denke das Fonix entweder Pleite ist in ca 3-4 Monaten oder das wir einen rasanten Turnaround sehen werden. Das ganze kommt mit 3G, da die Handhelds dann Leistungsstark genug sind auch Voice enabled Technologien zu bedienen. Dies war bisher das manko bei allen Applikationen.
Falls der Investor hinter Fonix bis dahin keine kalten Füsse bekommt und Fonix sterben lässt wird es ab mitte 2002 eine rasante Rallye geben (Einführung von 3G ab ende 2002).
Nur eins wundert mich. Fonix hat bisher 160Mio USD verbraten. Das werden die in den nächsten 10 Jahren nicht einspielen. Was und wer steckt also eigentlich dahinter? Selbst wenn Sie Lizenzgebühren für 5 mio Navigationsystem bekommen sind das nur 5 Mio USD. Also der einzige Grund kann nur sein, das das ganze in 3G handsets kommt zusammen mit der Stinger platform von Microsoft. 3G Geräte werden nämlich genug Prozessor Leistung haben um voice enabled applikationen zu treiben. dann reden wir von Stückzahlen >100 Mio STk/Jahr und dann rechent sich eine Lizenz von 1USD.
Das ganze mal zum nachdenken!

Sehe die ganze Sache ähnlich, wobei zu sagen ist, das ich für einen Turnaround so langsam schwarz sehe. In der Regel sind Aktien, die so tief in den Keller gegangen sind (Fonix stand vor drei Jahren mal bei mehreren Dollar,aus welchen Gründen auch immer), nicht mehr in der LAge, sich wirklich zu erholen.
Zudem ist es wohl so, das die Zocker-Aktie Fonx,das wahr sie wohl bisher für viele, bei Ständen um 2 Cent wohl noch mehr zum schnellen sicheren Zock für viele wird. (Eben mal 100 % an zwei Tagen)
Hier sind schon echte nachhaltige Earnings und dicke Verträge, die wirklich Geld bringen von Nöten, um die Aktie auf längere Sicht nach oben hieven. Wobei mir 20-30 Cent mittlerweile ersteinmal reichen würden. Ab 30 Cent stehe ich im Geld. Aber, aber......

Mist verdammter,
hatte ne 10 000 Order mit 5,8 Cent vor 2 Tagen eingegeben. Kurs kam leider nur bis 6 Cent zurück.
20€ wollt ich sparen.
Durfte dann zu 9,9 Cent kaufen.
Bis jetzt ja ganz schön.
Hoffe es bleibt so.
Werde morgen nochmals nachlegen.

Ich finde es traurig, wenn ihr Pjh66 so runtermacht, nur weil er gewinne mitgenommen hat. ich kann mich noch gut erinnern als ich eine aktie besass, die um mehr als das 4-fache gestiegen war und ich verkaufte. alle kritisierten mich, ich sei ein idiot, wir werden 3 dollar sehen etc. die aktie stand übrigens bei 0.05 und ich stieg bei 0.20 und 0.22 aus. die aktie ging an diesem tag tatsächlich noch bis auf 0.30. alle lachten mich aus. ich freute mich riesig, da ich einen schönen "REALGEWINN" verbuchen konnte. Alles andere sind nur Buchgewinne. Wo steht diese aktie jetzt? bei 0.035! Ha!
Ich sag nur eins: Pjh66, gut möglich, dass fonix wieder Richtung 0.50 ziehen wird, aber ich respektiere deine Entscheidung zu verkaufen. Ich kenne deinen EP nicht, aber wenn du Gewinn gemacht hast gratuliere ich dir! Die meisten hier haben mit Fonix nur Verluste geschrieben. Wenn du auch nur Verlustbegrenzung betrieben hast, auch dann gratuliere ich dir zu deinem Mut, auszusteigen.
Ich persönlich bleibe drin. hab ja nicht mehr viele stücke. war auch nahe dran, um 0.05 nachzukaufen. habs nicht gepackt. na,ja... bei 0.40 bin ich dann auch wieder im Plus... LOL

Bei grösserem Rückschlag ohne news überlege ich es mir nochmals... im moment laufen alle aktien so gut, da kann ich nicht alles kaufen.. LOL. und mein heissester Favorit kommt in die Endphase der Entscheidung, HOP oder Top! (ich verrate jetzt nicht welche "OTCBB-Schrottaktie" es ist) aber ich sag nur "Katzen und Gary Williams"! LOOOOL

Fonix all over the place, ein paar hundert Prozent in der Spitze, jeder ist am Jubilieren und alles der letzten Monate ist vergessen. Dann noch ein geheimnisumwittertes Posting mit einem E und ich könnte jetzt noch ein "Ich sehe die 5 Dollar Ende des Jahres" hinterherwerfen. Tue ich aber nicht.
Leute, haltet den Ball flach, freut euch über Kursgewinne.
Wir sind noch bei runden 10 Cent. Ich gehöre leider zu den mutigen, die bei 15, 20, und 50 Cent eingestiegen sind.
Wahrscheinlich bin ich auch der einzige Depp, der mit Fonix noch in den Miesen steht. Klar hoffe ich somit auf Kurse jenseits der 50 Cent, doch rechne ich vorläufig, auf Sicht in Monaten, nicht damit.

Sind wir doch einfach froh, das Fonix lebt und wie es scheint, auch die nächsten Jahre nicht den Weg vieler Highflyer der letzten JAhre machen wird. Hoffentlich.

Revenues from license fees and services were $607,644, for the year ended December 31, 2001, compared to $656,853 for the year ended December 31, 2000. Text-to-speech channel license sales in computer telephony and server-based markets slowed as a result of soft market economic conditions. However, revenue from product development services performed in 2001 was 45% greater than 2000. These services are expected to lead to licensing agreements and future royalty opportunities in embedded markets through the Company`s automotive and wireless solutions. "As the telecommunications industry recovers from its recent challenges and as wireless and mobile devices gain broader acceptance with our speech solutions, the Company is positioned to take advantage of market growth and expansion," stated Mr. Murdock.
An increase in cash expenditures for operating activities reflects the Company`s efforts to maintain its technological advantages and benefit from current and future marketing activities. Marketing and sales efforts have increased in server-based and embedded markets to create opportunities that the Company believes will lead to future revenue.
In 2001, the Company initiated retail distribution of personal software for consumer-oriented applications, such as PDAs and personal computers for home and office. "Our products have been well-received, but initial distribution costs have exceeded revenues generated to date," continued Mr. Murdock. Das Problem mit der riesigen Menge an Aktien ist, dass der Kurs immer mehr verwässert wird. D.H. im Falle von Fonix wurden immer mehr Aktien herausgegeben, kein Wunder dass die Aktie immer mehr sinkt. Und wenn du bei 1$ eingestiegen bist, nützt dir eine verdoppelung von 0.05 auf 0.10 nicht viel. Das könnte bei IQ-Power auch passieren, wenn die Kapital brauchen und es von Banken nicht kriegen. Es werden schnell einmal ein paar Milliönchen neue Aktien herausgegeben und schon kommt wieder frisches Kapital in die Kassen, ABER ZUM NACHTEIL DER ALTAKTIONAERE! Bei Fonix wirds SEHR KRITISCH! Seht euch mal die Zahlen an! Umsätze von einigen Hunderttausend $ und Verluste von über 20 MIO. $!!! Dass dies auf die Dauer nicht gutgeht liegt auf der Hand. Dies ist leider schon seit Jahren der Fall. Also ich bleib kritisch eingestellt, aber behalte meine wenigen Aktien die ich noch besitze, da ich sowieso nur noch etwa 1000 mark dafür bekäme... ich bin aber trotzdem froh, dass ich den grössten Teil bei 0.40 abgestossen habe. Noch was Crazy: Zur guten Newslage der letzten 5 wochen. Die News sind schon seit Jahren super. Ich denke an die vielen Verträge mit Motorola, Panasonic etc. Doch dem Kurs hilft dies nichts, wenn die Firma solche riesigen Verluste schreibt.

Da aber nun Microsoft mit der Stinger platform nun zum erstenmal Fuss fassen kann, wird es nicht mehr lange dauern bis auch die Handys dieser Welt eine Spracheingabe haben. Einziges Handycap derzeit ist der immense Speicherbedarf und Rechenleistung die dafür benötigt wird, denn wer will schon alle 6 Stunden sein handy aufladen. Aber nun kommt der Knüller der TI OMAP Prozessor wird in der Zukunft in allen Nokia Handys eingesetzt und auch bei Siemens und anderen Handy hersteller, damit wird bald genug rechenpower vorhanden sein. Aber im Zuge der MMS und Camera in handys nähern sich PDA und Telefon stark an und dann wird es nicht mehr lange dauern bis Sprachsteuerung zum Stadnard feature gehört. Und dann reden wir über mehrer 100 millionen Geräte mit Lizenzgebühren von ca 1USD/Gerät. Schaut euch nur mal zum Vergleich den Kurs von ARM Ltd an. Habe Fonix seit 2 Jahren, mal was verkauft, mal ordentlich zugekauft. Im grossen und ganzen stehe ich rund 30% im Minus mit der Fonix. Wenn ich nicht optimistisch wäre, wäre Fonix für mich schon Geschichte.
Klar ist aber, das man kein grosser Prophet sein muss, um baldige positive News zu ahnen. Schliesslich kommen sie bei Fonix seit JAhren in gewissen Abständen. Leider sind sie auf etwas längere Sicht immer wieder aktientechnisch verpufft.
Ich bin sicher, lässt es das allgemeine Umfeld zu, hat Fonix das Fundament um ordentlich zu steigen. Leider sieht es aber fast so aus, das Fonix, kommen noch ein paar schlechte Monate, das Geld ausgeht. Es muss also was passieren. Nur weitere positive Meldungen reichen da nicht.
