      Hi V.Mac !

3Dlabs Reports Second Quarter 2000 Results; Revenues Increase 41% Compared to Same Period in 1999
      WEDNESDAY, JULY 26, 2000 4:35 PM
      - BusinessWire

Hamilton, Bermuda, Jul 26, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

      3Dlabs(R),
Inc. Ltd. (NASDAQ:TDDD) today announced unaudited financial results
for the second quarter ended June 30, 2000.
Total revenues for the second quarter of 2000 were $14.4 million,
an increase of 41% from the $10.2 million reported in the second
quarter of 1999. On an operating basis, the Company recorded a profit
of $159 thousand, compared to an operating loss of ($680) thousand in
the second quarter of 1999. The Company reported a loss before
amortization of goodwill and other acquisition-related intangibles of
($483) thousand, or ($0.03) per share, compared to ($787) thousand, or
($0.04) per share, in the second quarter of last year. For the second
quarter of 2000, 3Dlabs recorded a net loss of ($725) thousand, or
($0.04) per share, compared to ($0.9) million, or ($0.05) per share,
in the same period last year.
On July 24th, the Company announced the completion of its
acquisition of the assets of the Intense3D(R) operation of
Intergraph(R) Corporation for 3,588,060 common shares of 3Dlabs, with
an earn-out provision totaling up to an additional $25 million in the
future, payable in stock and/or cash at 3Dlabs` option. The
acquisition, which was first announced on April 10th, was originally
targeted to close in late May but was subsequently delayed into the
third quarter. Accordingly, 3Dlabs will now take certain one-time
acquisition related charges and reserves in the third quarter. Had the
acquisition closed in the second quarter of 2000, 3Dlabs would have
captured a portion of the revenue and profits of Intense3D in that
      period.
"While we have been disappointed with the delays in completing the
Intense3D acquisition and the resultant shortfall in our revenues and
profitability in the second quarter, we are pleased that the deal has
closed," stated Osman Kent, President and CEO of 3Dlabs. "This
acquisition advances 3Dlabs` portfolio with the addition of market
leading high-end and very high-end professional graphics products. It
also liberates resources elsewhere in our organization for
accelerating our entry into additional growth markets, both on the
traditional PC and the emerging appliance platforms."
Continuing Kent said, "At Siggraph this week, we have announced
and are demonstrating a new line of exciting products and technologies
both in the Oxygen and the Wildcat families. In the second quarter,
the demand for both product families continued to be strong and we
continued to expand our professional market penetration as illustrated
by our recently announced design wins at Sun and SGI. The combined
company has every major OEM as a customer and continues to grow its
channel presence. We are also expanding into new markets and have
recently announced initiatives and design wins in the emerging
      embedded markets."
"With the broadest range of professional graphics products in the
industry, strong customer demand and a stronger team, we are confident
of our strategic direction," Kent concluded.

3Dlabs Reports First Quarter 2001 Results
Revenues Increase 66% Compared to First Quarter of 2000 Operating Losses Continue to Narrow
HAMILTON, Bermuda, April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- 3Dlabs®, Inc. Ltd. (Nasdaq: TDDD - news) today announced unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2001.

Total revenues for the first quarter of 2001 were just under $25 million, up 66% from the $15 million reported in the first quarter of 2000. During the period, 3Dlabs continued to narrow its losses substantially, reporting an operating loss of ($0.8) million compared to ($1.9) million in the fourth quarter of 2000.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2001, 3Dlabs reported a loss before amortization of goodwill and other intangibles and special costs of ($1.6) million, or ($0.07) per share, compared to ($2.6) million, or ($0.12) per share for the fourth quarter of 2000.

``We posted strong revenue growth despite the widely reported industry slowdown and made great strides in reducing our operating losses,`` said Osman Kent, President and CEO of 3Dlabs.

``The demand for our products continued to be strong both in the channel and among the OEMs and during the quarter we announced new design wins at Compaq, Dell, SGI and Sun Microsystems. As we reported earlier, a significant portion of our business during the quarter continued to be supply limited. However, we expect this situation to gradually ease in the coming quarters. In our quest to return the company to profitability, we also took certain measures to reduce our operating expenses from April onwards, while still planning to grow our business,`` Kent continued.

At the end of the quarter, the company effected a cost reduction plan aimed at reducing operating expenses from the beginning of April. This plan included, among other measures, a 15% reduction of the company`s workforce by the end of March 2001, primarily from non-technical functions. Accordingly, in the first quarter 3Dlabs incurred a one-time charge of $1.4 million, associated with this restructuring.

Kent added, ``With the clear goal of realizing profitability before the end of 2001 and gaining operational efficiencies, we have taken actions to immediately lower our cost structure while continuing our focus on key products and customers. The steps we took in the first quarter will strengthen the company and help exploit synergies as we build revenue and work towards operational profitability.``

During the first quarter, 3Dlabs announced a series of key design wins with Compaq, Dell and SGI for its new Wildcat II 5110 graphics accelerator, the next leap in professional graphics. The company also announced that its acclaimed Wildcat II graphics technology is providing the core graphics technology for the new Sun Expert3D-Lite professional graphics card from Sun Microsystems.

Kent concluded, ``We recently began volume deliveries of these new products and as a result we expect our sequential revenue growth to continue in the second quarter. The management of the company is focused more than ever on growing our business, returning to profitability and building long-term shareholder value and we plan to take whatever action is necessary to achieve those goals.``

3Dlabs Wildcat II 5110 Shatters 200 Barrier In Viewperf Advanced Visualizer (AWadvs) Benchmark
Breaks 200 Score In Key Independent Benchmark For CAD, DCC And Visual Imaging Applications
INTERNET WIRE -- 3Dlabs®, Inc. Ltd. (NASDAQ:TDDD - news) today announced that the Wildcat(TM) II 5110 graphics accelerator has achieved yet another performance landmark, shattering the 200 mark on the SPECviewperf(TM) AWadvs-04 benchmark for the first time ever.
The record-breaking scores were achieved on two Pentium® 4 processor-based systems: the Dell Precision(TM) Workstation 330 and the IBM IntelliStation® M Pro. The Silicon Graphics Zx10(TM) also achieved a leading AWadvs-04 score with a Pentium III-based system, topping all other systems using competing graphics cards.

The SPECviewperf AWadvs-04 benchmark is based on Alias|Wavefront`s Advanced Visualizer, an integrated workstation-based 3-D modeling and animation program. The benchmark`s subtests are weighted to emphasize material shading and wireframe rendering performance of polygonal animation models. Such OpenGL performance is critical for digital content creation (DCC) professionals working in television, games, and feature films, as well as for visual simulation professionals and CAD professionals creating animations of complex models and assemblies.

"3Dlabs` Wildcat II 5110 continues to reach new milestones in OpenGL performance, maintaining its reputation as delivering `the fastest workstation graphics on the planet,`" said Jerry Peterson, executive vice president and general manager of 3Dlabs Wildcat Division. "The AWadvs-04 benchmark is especially significant for 3Dlabs customers, because it measures graphics performance in real-world application tasks, and provides unambiguous results over different vendor platforms, operating systems, and windowing environments."

PC Magazine recently reported on the Wildcat II 5110`s phenomenal performance on the AWadvs-04 benchmark, noting "huge performance differences between the top-performing Wildcat II and the rest of the pack." The article also stated "the Wildcat II was more than three times as fast as the low-scoring Gloria III and more than 70 percent faster than the Fire GL2 and Fire GL3." (Laura Cox, PC Magazine, March 2001). To view the latest benchmark data, visit the SPEC OpenGL Performance Characterization Project website at www.spec.org/gpc/opc.data/awadvs-perf.html.

Total revenues for the second quarter of 2001 were $24.9 million, up 73% from the $14.4 million reported in the second quarter 2000. For the first six months of 2001, 3Dlabs reported revenues of $49.8 million, compared to $29.4 million for the first half of 2000, an increase of 69%.

"I am pleased to see the company show substantial year-on-year growth and return to operating profitability, especially during a period of economic slowdown affecting the rest of the industry," said Osman Kent, President and CEO of 3Dlabs. "Our results have been driven by the continued success of our Wildcat II and Oxygen products in the channel and among the OEMs. 3Dlabs is now widely recognized as having both performance leadership and market share leadership in the professional graphics industry."

The market research firm Jon Peddie Associates, a highly respected authority in the workstation graphics marketplace, published 3Dlabs` market share as 35 percent in its April NT/Windows 2001 Workstation Market Study, topping all other competitors. During the past few months, various industry publications such as PC Magazine have acknowledged 3Dlabs` Wildcat II 5110 product as the fastest professional graphics product in the world.

"With the recent introduction of the Wildcat II 5000, 3Dlabs` first mid-range Wildcat product, we plan to increase our market penetration by establishing a new performance and quality bar at a lower price point," Kent continued. "The initial reception for the product has been outstanding which represents a compelling value proposition for the professional graphics industry."

"Having achieved operating profitability, our next focus is the completion of new products and technologies which we believe will propel 3Dlabs to next level of growth and expansion," Kent concluded.

3Dlabs Reports Third Quarter 2001 Results Revenues Increase 18%; Company Maintains Operating Profitability

3Dlabs Reports Third Quarter 2001 Results Revenues Increase 18%; Company Maintains Operating Profitability

HAMILTON, Bermuda, Oct 31, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- 3Dlabs(R), Inc. Ltd. today announced unaudited financial results for the three and nine month periods ended September 30, 2001.

Total revenues for the third quarter of 2001 were $20.1 million, up 18% from $17.0 million in the third quarter of 2000. For the first nine months of 2001, 3Dlabs reported revenues of $69.9 million, compared to $46.4 million for the first nine months of 2000, an increase of 50%.

The company achieved a small operating profit during the third quarter, compared to an operating loss of ($2.3) million in the same quarter last year. 3Dlabs reported a loss before amortization of goodwill and other intangibles of ($1.0) million, or ($0.03) per share, for the third quarter of 2001, compared to ($2.9) million, or ($0.13) per share, for the third quarter of 2000.

Operating expenses declined sequentially to $9.5 million from the $10.4 million reported in the second quarter of 2001, as the company implemented further cuts in discretionary spending along with certain headcount reductions. The company expects discretionary cost saving measures to remain in effect for the balance of 2001 and will take a charge in the fourth quarter associated with a reduction in force implemented recently.

"We have managed our costs and gross margins well and maintained operating profitability in a challenging economic environment," said Osman Kent, President and CEO of 3Dlabs. "Despite the downturn in the industry, our business remained relatively strong in the third quarter due in part to continuing strong sales of our Wildcat products to our OEM customers and in the channel."

"Our execution and strong focus on delivering market leading technology have been rewarded with growing customer wins for our products. While the precise timing of demand can be difficult to predict in the current economic climate, our close relationships with key customers offer a strong pipeline of business for the company as the economy recovers in 2002," Kent continued. "We are on track in bringing new products and technologies to market in 2002, which we believe will fuel our growth and expansion."

Also gestern hat mich TDDD glatt überrascht.

      So kanns täglich weitergehen.

3Dlabs (TDDD: news, chart, profile) jumped almost 14 percent after the company secured an additional $10 million in financing, closing on a convertible subordinated debt offering from a strategic investor. The Bermuda-based graphics controller technology firm said that the 4.5 percent notes mature in January 2004, and that if the note is converted, it would issue up to 4.5 million shares of common stock. 3Dlabs plans to use the funds for working capital needs, including new product launches.

      3Dlabs posts wider fourth-quarter loss
      MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2002 8:40 AM
      - Reuters U.S. Company News

HAMILTON, Bermuda, March 11 (Reuters) - Computer graphics vendor 3Dlabs Inc. (TDDD) posted on Monday a wider fourth-quarter loss compared with a year earlier, hurt by worse-than-expected revenues and an inventory reserve of $9.7 million.

Singapore-based Creative Technology Ltd. <CREA.SI> announced earlier Monday that it planned to buy 3Dlabs for $3.60 per share in stock and cash, valuing 3Dlabs at $170 million. Creative plans to pay $1.20 in cash and $2.40 in Creative stock for each 3Dlabs share.

3Dlabs reported a quarterly loss of $8.9 million, or 29 cents per share, compared with a year-earlier quarterly loss of $1 million, or 3 cents per share. The losses in both quarters excluded the amortization of goodwill and other intangibles, said the company. Revenues for the quarter sank 58 percent to $10.1 million from $24 million a year before. The company attributed the revenue shortfall to the weak economy and slower sales of its Oxygen line of products.

Shares of 3Dlabs ended Friday at $2.95 on the Nasdaq market. Their 52-week trading range is 52 cents to $3.99.

3Dlabs Reports Fourth Quarter and Year End 2001 Results; Revenues Negatively Impacted by Economic Slowdown in the Fourth Quarter; 3Dlabs to be Acquired by Creative Technology
      MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2002 7:30 AM
      - BusinessWire

HAMILTON, Bermuda, Mar 11, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- 3Dlabs(R), Inc. Ltd. (TDDD) today announced unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2001. In a separate press release, 3Dlabs announced that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Creative Technology Ltd. (CREAF) in a cash and stock transaction, which values the Company at approximately $170 million on an enterprise basis.

Total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2001 were $10.1 million compared to the $20.1 million reported in the third quarter of 2001. The Company reported a loss from operations (excluding inventory reserves and one-time charges) of ($6.2) million compared to earnings from operations of $9 thousand in the third quarter of 2001. The Company recorded an inventory reserve of $9.7 million and costs related to a reduction in force of $118 thousand in the fourth quarter of 2001.

3Dlabs reported a loss before amortization of goodwill and other intangibles (excluding inventory reserves and one-time charges) of ($8.9) million, or ($0.29) per share, compared to a loss before amortization of goodwill and other intangibles of ($1.0) million, or ($0.03) per share, in the third quarter of 2001.

Total revenues for fiscal 2001 were approximately $80 million, up 13 percent, from $71 million for the 2000 fiscal year. Excluding amortization, reserves and one-time charges, for the year ended December 31, 2001, 3Dlabs recorded a net loss of ($12.2) million, or ($0.46) per share, compared to a net loss of ($6.0) million, or ($0.30) per share, in 2000.

"Despite the continued strength of our Wildcat products, revenues in the fourth quarter were lower than anticipated due to the weak economy and slower sales of our Oxygen line in the channel," stated Osman Kent, Chairman and CEO of 3Dlabs. "As 3Dlabs intends to introduce a broad range of new products in the second quarter of this year, we took the prudent step of recording an inventory reserve in the fourth quarter of $9.7 million, which consisted predominantly of our Oxygen line."

"We began the new year with a series of recently announced key design wins with Compaq, Dell, Hewlett Packard and IBM for our Wildcat III product line. With these and additional unannounced design wins as well as anticipated new product introductions, we expect our business to strengthen from the second quarter of this year," Kent continued.

"This morning we also announced that we have signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Creative Technology in a stock and cash transaction that valued the company at approximately $170 million. We are very excited about the opportunity provided by Creative`s worldwide distribution network, huge customer base, world-famous brands, and financial resources to maximize our existing and forthcoming ground-breaking visual processing technology," Kent noted. "Integrating the resources and expertise of these two industry-leading companies can create a truly potent force in the graphics market."
