QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES REPORT - MARCH 2003
Centennial Coal Company Limited ("Centennial") presents its March
2003 Quarterly Activities Report.
HIGHLIGHTS
* Coal production totalled 2.5 million tonnes for the quarter, up
335% on the prior corresponding period.
* Saleable coal production totalled 2.3 milliontonnes for the
quarter, up 333% on the prior corresponding period.
* Coal sales totalled 2.7 million tonnes for the quarter, up 274% on
the prior corresponding period.
* Springvale achieved a record longwall move.
* Development of the Mandalong Mine continued on schedule with many
activities underway.
* A thorough review to optimise the Company`s development options for
the Anvil Hill Open-Cut Project was commenced.
* Integration of the ex-Powercoal Mines continued to progress
successfully
* Dr Paul Moy joined the Board as a Non Executive Director.
