Hi,

OTC-BBCHT - DCH Technology Inc. Pressemeldung 29/7/99
NASA, Westinghouse, FORD, General Motors, Hydrogen Burner, GE
und anderen multi-internationalen Unternehmen genutzt.
------>
Anmerkung Zero Cool:
Over-The-Counter-Bulletin-Board (OTC-BB) notierte Akie handelt.
Trotz allem
sind Kooperationen mit wichtigen Größen geschloßen.

Company Background and Business Summary: DCH Technology, Inc. (OTC-BB: DCHT) is a manufacturer of hydrogen sensors, gas detectors and process monitors,
licensed from such major United States National Laboratories as Sandia, Oak Ridge, National Re newable Energy Laboratory and Canada`s Simon Fraser University.
The technologies that have been acquired and developed by DCHT not only push the state-of-the-art, but also permanently alter the expectations of the customer. To
date, three products - all based on the Robust Hydrogen Sensor technology licensed by DCHT - have been developed, tested and commercilized: The Hand Held Unit is
used when leak detection and/or hydrogen measurement necessitates a portable sensing device. The Integration Kit is used in applications where hydrogen gas detection
and/or measurement is required in existing equipment. The Measurement System uses sensor heads that are installed at points where hydrogen leaks are possible or
where monitoring is necessary, and readings are transmitted remotely. Three products have been commercialized and are bei ng sold in increasing numbers.
Current DCHT customers for the Robust Hydrogen Sensor include NASA, General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), General Electric (NYSE: GE), Ford (NYSE: F),
Westinghouse, Allied Signal (NYSE: ALD), General Motors (NYSE: GM), Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT), The US Nav al Medical Research Institute, and many
other international aerospace and defense companies. One of the customers will be the US Department of Energy.
RECENT MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS: The Universal Gas Detector was licensed by DCHT from Simon Fraser University. This device will significantly improve the
sensing capability of existing gas detectors and open up much of the estimated $2 billion gas detection mar ket to DCHT. The PEM Fuel Cell from Los Alamos National
Laboratory represents a giant leap forward in the pursuit of alternative clean energy sources for low power needs. This product, recently licensed and currently under
development, will revolutionize this burgeoning industry by competing favorably in terms of performance, environmental cleanliness and cost. The total market for fuel cells
in 1998 was $355 Million and is projected to reach US $1.3 Billion annually by 2003, reflecting a 29.5% annual g rowth rate. DCHT is in discussions with Westinghouse to
team on several hydrogen detection and measurement safety upgrades to nuclear reactor facilities throughout the world. DCHT`s products have been successfully tested by
a Fortune 100 manufacturer o f power distribution transformers and has teamed with TJ/H2b, a company specializing in analysis of power transformers. Phase II of these
tests is commencing. DCHT is also in discussions with other related companies.
Other Latest Important Developments: On March 25, 1999 DCHT forms Strategic Alliance with Xybernaut Corporation (NASDAQ: XYBR ) to Co-Market and Sell the
Xybernaut Wearable Computer, the Mobile Assistant, (MA-IV), Integrated with the DCHT Robust Hydrogen Sensor. This is a major opportunity for DCHT to capitalize
on their unique sensor products and gives DCHT immediate access to Xybernauts` already established sales, marketing and distribution channels. This new integrated
product will be unveiled April 7th through April 9th at the NHA meeting.
On March 15, 1999, DCHT unveiled its first Carbon Monoxide gas monitor with Embedded Artificial Intelligence. This revolutionary new sensor, also known as their
Universal Gas Detector, will now permit integrators to install CO sensors into safety and process monitors in over 200 industries worldwide. DCHT has a backlog of
orders for this sensor and will begin full-scale production this year.
On March 4, 1999, DCHT and Allied Signal (NYSE: ALD) announced a multi year strategic alliance to integrate DCHT sensors into AlliedSignal products for hydrogen
energy and other systems.
On Feb. 17, 1999, DCHT Sensors was selected by Antaeus Corporation for use in its "smart`` bridge monitoring system, to be used for corrosion detection associated with
aging bridge structures. The U.S. Government spent $5 Billion in 1998 maintaining and rehabilitating bridges.
On Feb. 17, 1999, Freewing™ Aerial Robotics Corporation announced that it has been awarded a contract by NASA to develop an advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)
system. This system will be based on the company`s patented Freewing™ Tilt-Body™ technology, and will utilize its Scorpion airframe. The detailed design of the Scorpion
was developed by Freewing™ with renowned aircraft designer Burt Rutan. Tilt-Body™ aircraft also cannot stall or spin, making them safer than other kinds of aircraft. The
contract is in support of NASA`s Mission To Planet Earth (MTPE) group.
On Feb. 11, 1999, DCHT and Freewing Aerial Robotics Corp. began a development program to integrate Hydrogen PEM Fuel Cells into the Freewing Tilt-Body
Unmanned Aeronautical Vehicle (UAV). UAV`s are in demand in both military and the emerging commercial m arketplaces with total market demand estimated at between
$2 to $4 Billion.
On Feb. 9, 1999, DCHT shipped the first of its new Deuterium Sensor and Process Monitor Systems. Deuterium, a heavier variety of hydrogen is used in both industrial
and nuclear operations. This is a major breakthrough for the telecommunications and semico nductor industries, to name a few. DCHT selected AlliedSignal (NYSE: ALD)
to fabricate these devices.
Industry Background and DCHT: There is renewed attention on global warming and air pollution in Washington. Words like fuel cells and alternative energy are
becoming beltway buzzwords. On March 17,1999, Daimler Chrysler unveiled its first Fuel C ell powered car. On Jan. 26, 1999, the Clinton Administration requested $4.05
Billion for alternative and renewable energy technology development and a $3.6 Billion in tax credits for renewable energy products. This marks a dramatic expansion of the
Unit ed States Government`s role in promoting and funding renewable energy research and development.
Hydrogen sales in the US have increased dramatically at an average annual rate of more than 25% during 1993-1997, including the addition of seven on site plants to serve
gasoline refineries. Hydrogen is explosive when it reaches just 4% concentration in a ir, therefore monitoring and measuring the gas in order to activate safety control
equipment or to sound an alarm is vital to avoid hazardous situations, explosions and loss of life. Only the DCHT sensor is equipped to monitor building levels of hydroge n
in extreme industrial environments to signal an increasing level of danger and the need for maintenance.
DCHT is teamed with the US Department of Energy and the Los Alamos National Lab to commercialize the PEM hydrogen-powered Fuel Cell. DCH will be unveiling
their Fuel Cell April 7th - 9th at the 10th Annual National Hydrogen Association convention in Tyso n`s Corner, VA. DCHT believes their fuel cell will be ready for
worldwide distribution in mid 1999. Companies in Japan, Europe, and the US are readying production lines to satisfy fuel cell markets worth several billion dollars annually,
over the next te n years.
Today, when investors think of fuel cells, they tend to think of Ballard Power Systems ( NASDAQ: BLDPF), and their R&D work in developing fuel cells to power electric
vehicles. While there are a number of interesting comparisons that can be made between DCHT and Ballard, Ballard is primarily developing fuel cell power technology for
large stationary power systems, and secondarily for transportation; while DCHT is focused on the smaller consumer sized design for "portable" or remote electric power.
Ballar d is currently receiving major attention from Wall Street and the media from the recent announcements from Daimler Chrysler. This increased attention is good for all
fuel cell manufacturers.
From the spring of 1995 to 1998, shares of Ballard Power soared from $4.00 to $ 132.00 (adj. 3-for-1 stock split) on the NASDAQ and Toronto Stock Exchanges. Ballard`s
current $2.5 billion market cap and share price levels are attributable to an alliance and large investment by Daimler-Benz and Ford to make fuel cells for cars, buses and
trucks. DCHT believes that their sensor technology will play a key role in that development. In a May 19, 1998 press release, David Haberman, DCHT Chairman and VP of
tec hnology and planning stated, "DCHT`s proprietary hydrogen and natural gas sensors provide fast, accurate gas measurement that is necessary for both integrated
safety and feedback control in refueling systems. The transportation applications demand chemica l selectivity to prevent false signals and the Robust Hydrogen Sensor and
Universal Gas Sensor are both designed to provide high signal confidence. Based on our discussions with Ford and General Motors, we believe that the use of DCHT
equipment in the pro duction of these vehicles, on-board these vehicles and in the refueling infrastructure will be specified by both OEMs and the evolving regulations."
DCHT`s advances in fuel cell technology and remote hydrogen sensor applications are propelling this company to the forefront of the rapidly growing gas detection and fuel
cell industries at a time when both industry and government are making multi-billion dollar commitments towards their implementation and commercialization. DCHT
believes that their smaller portable fuel cells are more economically viable and will be brought into commercial development far sooner than the larger units being developed
to power electric vehicles and homes. This gives DCHT a major competitive edge over Ballard and other fuel cell developers, because fuel cell cars aren`t expected until
2004. DCHT will also be unveiling their Thick Film and Fiber Optic Hydrogen Sensors and Universal Gas Detectors at the April 7th event for the very first time. DCHT
expects tremendous industry interest in their new sensors and believes several new markets have opened for them as a result of their latest R&D investments.
SUMMARY: DCHT has superior management and an impeccable industry reputation. DCHT has an experienced management team, with careers stemming from RCA
Aerospace, Rockwell, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Aeronautics Corp. of America, General Instr uments and Motorola, etc.
DCHT has multiple revenue channels. DCHT has projected $105 million in revenue and $26 million in net profit, spread over the next 5 years from sales of the Robust
Hydrogen Sensor. DCHT anticipates significant revenue from the power transformer and semi conductor industries, and has taken the first steps towards penetrating those
highly lucrative markets. DCHT also anticipates significant revenue from the $5 Billion annual infrastructure and bridge repair industry, and has taken the first steps
towards p enetrating that market as well. DCHT is emerging as a leader in the $2 Billion fuel cell market and $2 Billion gas detection at a time when both industry and
government are making multibillion dollar commitments of their own, towards their successful int egration into the US economy. DCHT is developing smaller fuel cells to
power scooters, motorbikes, and rechargeable batteries. DCHT believes that this market will develop far sooner than the market for electric vehicles and homes.
DCHT is preparing to become a fully reporting company as soon as possible. The SB-2 form (form- 10) will be filed with the SEC as soon as the company`s auditor
finishes the company`s financials. DCHT is also planning to achieve listing with NASDAQ small -cap as soon as the company becomes a fully reporting company.
Technical Analysis: Based on the technical position and future business plan of DCHT, we believe the stock price has the potential to appreciate to exciting levels in the
near future. Bearing in mind that significant company developments have and will occur this year, along with industry projections, leads us to believe that DCHT is an
excellent investment opportunity. Last May, the stock peaked little over $8 per share. Since then, the stock price has been declined as the company underwent maj or
transition from a development stage to a manufacturing phase with some common shares issued for finishing its R&D. During the past 6 months, the price has oscillated
and is apparently sustaining within the $1 to $1.25 range. During the past 3 months , trading activities suggest that an accumulation is going on. We believe this as an
accumulation/consolidation phase of development prior to an upward movement in price that could occur as the Company`s expansion plans materialize this year. We don`t
s ee much downside for the stock which is traded in the range of $1.00. We believe the stock is an outstanding investment opportunity and is at an excellent buying price
considering its short and long-term potential. Our short-term (3 months) target price is $2-$3, an intermediate-term (3-12 months) target price is $3 to $4.50, and a
long-term (12 months to 24 months) target price is $4.50-$8.
Conclusion: DCHT has aggressive plans to become a leader in the emerging industries of fuel cell, hydrogen sensors, gas detectors, and nuclear safety. Key factors mark
DCHT as an outstanding investment opportunity: (1) huge potential of signific ant revenue and earnings growth, (2) capitalization of strategic partnerships with major
industry establishments, (3) ability to compete. In fact, they have no competition in the hydrogen sensor field, as their technology is far superior to anything on t he market,
(4) new products on the basis of extensive R&D, and (5) key management. These astonishing factors along with the fact that the Company has capitalized on a major
strategic alliance with the Department of Energy lead us to believe in the future success of the Company in this potentially explosive industry.
We believe that DCHT story has not yet come out and come to the attention of the investment community. It`s extremely undervalued when we consider its huge potential
in the emerging industry. By the time the investment community wakes up to what`s happe ning at DCHT, the share price could easily be well over $5.00 per share. We
have an absolute ground floor opportunity to get in before the institutions and fund managers, who will surely be looking to get into this company as it`s importance in the
area of Fuel cell car development becomes clearer.

equipment in the pro duction of these vehicles, on-board these vehicles and in the refueling infrastructure will be specified by both OEMs and the evolving regulations."

Hi,
Weiss jemand was da los ist?

"PINK SHEETS"
,was einem Totalverlust gleichkommt.

DCH Technology, Inc. to Make Significant Announcement at Fall Equities Conference
VALENCIA, Calif., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- DCH Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DCHT - news; www.dcht.com) confirmed today that its Chairman, David Haberman will be making a significant announcement at the Equities Magazine Fall Conference in New York City on November 10th. DCHT manufactures sensor-based safety systems and equipment and fuel cell power systems for many industries, ranging from aerospace to utilities. DCHT is the only reporting public company that has dedicated itself to a safe, clean hydrogen energy future, making it a socially responsible company, integrating business strategy with social and environmental goals.
DCHT is celebrating its five year anniversary by presenting publicly at the conference its business plan and strategy to become the standard for embedded hydrogen safety in several major aspects of the expanding hydrogen energy infrastructure. DCHT has no outside debt, yet has continued to expand its production facilities in both California and Wisconsin. David Walker, DCHT President stated, ``The markets affected by hydrogen technology are valued in the billions of dollars, yet the investing public has little knowledge of the pertinence of hydrogen on the economies of the United States and the World. I believe that our presentation at this conference will be enlightening and useful considering the large impact of the accelerating growth of the hydrogen economy.`` The DCHT presentation at the Fall Equities Conference will be at the New York Grand Hyatt Hotel on Wednesday, November 10th at 9am. DCHT will also have an informational desk at the event. This conference is designed for brokers, investment professionals and analysts. Conference details are available at www.EquitiesMagazine.com.

Hi MO 2.

Hallo,

DCH Technology`s Chairman Announces Contract at Equities Conference
NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- David Haberman, Chairman of DCH Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DCHT - news) announced today at the Fall Equities Conference that DCHT has been selected by a major fuel cell manufacturer to provide hydrogen sensors as part of their fuel cell power systems. This significant purchase, together with options, is valued at over $2.4 million.
``This contract represents a significant market opportunity for DCHT in fuel cells, whether they be used for industrial, residential, portable or other power requirements,`` said Dennis Reid, DCHT`s Director of Sales. ``In addition to this application, we currently have four automobile manufacturers testing our sensors for use as a hydrogen leak detector in their fuel cell vehicles.``
Utilities, car companies and government agencies are investing heavily in fuel cell technology and demonstrations in order to meet the demands for efficient, clean power around the world. This selection represents the creation of a de facto standard in the fuel cell industry to use DCHT`s hydrogen sensors as the embedded safety device.
Mr. Haberman also discussed some of the other accomplishments made by DCHT in the past year. These include quadrupling the number of employees, tripling the company`s square footage and the sale of DCHT`s first fuel cell systems. Additional observations made by Mr. Haberman can be found at the company`s website: http://www.dcht.com.

Gute Nacht,

Hi Leute

Danke.
Gruß
Nando

du sagtest du koenntest Consors aus eigener Erfahrung empfehlen (US Order)

Was meinst Du?

-------
RAM Capital Announces Investment Opinion
PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 17, 1999--Palm Beach Florida based RAM Capital Management has selected a "micro" and
"portable" fuel cell manufacturer DCH Technology, Inc, (OTC BBCHT) as its top technology pick for the year 2000. This is based primarily on
market valuation comparisons of the other companies in the fuel cell sector.
As of the close of trading, Thursday Dec. 16, 1999, DCHT`s market capitalization was only $21,000,000.
That is less than 1/20th of Manhattan Scientifics` $ 525,000,000, (OTC BB:MHTX), and 1/100th of the $2 Billion Ballard Power Systems.
(Nasdaq:BLDP), (TSE:BLD). Others are Fuel Cell Energy, (AMEX:FCL) at $170 million, and Plug Power (Nasdaq:PLUG) at $1.2 Billion.
What separates DCHT from the other small and micro fuel cell developers is that they are delivering working prototypes for testing by major
industrial partners now; including a scheduled January 2000 delivery of a fully integrated 3kW fuel cell system to the Bonneville Power
Administration. This initial unit is part of a $3.5 million pilot program with NW Power Systems, (NYSE:IDA) who makes the natural gas reformer
for the system. DCH is also designing the safety system with their hydrogen sensors for this unit.
Additional orders are anticipated upon the completion of testing.
We believe DCHT will be discovered by Wall Street in the upcoming year as investment professionals seeking to hedge their investments in the
rest of the fuel cell sector look more closely at them.
DCHT common shares would have to rise to $10.00 to equal FCL; $26.00 to equal MHTX; $50.00 to equal PLUG, and $100.00 to equal BLDP.
We note that BLDP is partnered with Ford, (NYSE:F) and Daimler-Chrysler, (NYSECX), and PLUG is partnered with General Electric,
(NYSE:GE), and Detroit Edison, (NYSETE), and both have large cash arsenals which is funding their research and market development.
DCHT signed a multi year strategic marketing alliance with AlliedSignal Honeywell in March 1999 (NYSE:HON), (NYSE:ALD).
DCHT Trading at only $1 3/8 per share is, in our opinion, a direct result of the lack of Wall Street analyst coverage of micro-cap stocks as a
group and OTC bulletin board companies as a whole. This tremendous disparity in market cap has created a substantial opportunity for long
term technology stock investors.
DCHT is expected to generate $100 million in revenue from their sensor division over the next 5 years. This revenue stream will fund their fuel
cell capacity without incurring debt or substantial dilution. We see this as the preferred business model and reminiscent of the way Hewlett
Packard was built.
A $21 million valuation for a fuel cell company, when the rest of the industry is trading between $170 million to over $2 Billion is far too low and
is totally ignoring the growing sensor business. Their sensors are in long term testing now with four automobile company`s, and several
multinational corporations, including a division of Westinghouse, (NYSE:BPA) for the Leningrad Nuclear reactor.
DCHT is commercializing US Department of Energy fuel cell technology, developed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and has
demonstrated a working micro fuel cell throughout 1999 to several major corporations and the various branches of the US Government. The
patented and proprietary robust hydrogen sensor was developed at the Sandia National Laboratory.

DCH Technology, Inc. Expands Fuel Cell Operations
VALENCIA, Calif., Dec. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- DCH Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DCHT - news; http://www.dcht.com) announced today that it has added a second production and test facility to its Wisconsin fuel cell operations. This is the second expansion of the division and will include the addition of on-site hydrogen production capability -- making it one of the few integrated hydrogen fuel cell energy operations in the World. The facility will be commissioned in January and will house additional production and test personnel.
DCHT is currently developing distinct hydrogen fuel cell product families and has contracts from strategic customers to deliver equipment for testing. The growth of the fuel cell market continues to accelerate, with a wide variety of applications for fuel cells that produce electricity directly from hydrogen without any polluting emissions.
In a related event, DCHT will join the US Fuel Cell Council in order to participate in the development of codes and standards necessary for the commercial, large-scale deployment of fuel cell power systems. DCHT will also be contributing to efforts of the Council`s working groups, including safety codes and standards and power generation. The US Fuel Cell Council is a leader in the policies and direction of the fuel cell industry.
DCHT also manufactures hydrogen sensors, safety equipment and process monitors for use by many different industries working with hydrogen as an industrial chemical. As the fuel cell industry grows, the use of hydrogen sensors and associated equipment will increase to assure safety and high efficiency in hydrogen energy systems. DCHT is working with many fuel cell manufacturers to develop the defacto standard for safety based upon hydrogen sensors.

Hallo Mo2,

Goodbye Four, Hello Five !

Hallo Mo!
Gebe Dir vollkommen recht.

COUNTDOWN: DAY 2 OF 20
[1/7] Yesterday DCHT stock closed at $4 bid starting a 20 day countdown (February 1) to probable Nasdaq small cap qualification.
We forecast that Fuel Cell technology will be an increasingly hot sector in 2000-2004. DCHT in our opinion is the best of the public companies dedicated to a hydrogen
future. This is my opinion despite the fact they are my client and I own lots of stock.
See Astro-technicals below.
Note: this article is "in progress``; there will likely be an update soon.
UPDATE #3
HYDROGEN/SOLAR ENERGY ARE 21ST CENTURY FUELS
Investors: The 21st century begins next month! Within a few years, hydrogen and solar energy will recognized not as
"alternate energy" but "successor" energy.
In 2000, there will be numerous successor energy conferences, each facilitating serious press coverage for DCHT.
We forecast DCHT will not only dominate the hydrogen sensor industry, but DCHT fuel cells will be a dominant supplier
in the portable "Premium Power" market where price is not an object e.g. hospitals, military and remote village sites
(arctic, desert etc.)
COMPANY PROGRESS:
[12/28] Company issued a press release today and that it has added a second production
and test facility to its Wisconsin fuel cell operations. This is the second expansion of the division and will include the addition of on-site hydrogen production capability.
DCHT also stated that it will join the US Fuel Cell Council in order to participate in the development of codes and standards necessary for the commercial, large-scale
deployment of fuel cell power systems.
The company is on target with more key test orders on the fuel cell side and strategic placement on the hydrogen sensor side making DCHT the defacto standard. In
addition, new safety applications such as in water treatment are being developed. We believe the company is currently under-estimating the sensor side as worth $100
million; we estimate more at least $350 million.
AstroTechnicals: DCHT Stock Price or Detailed Stock Price
[1/7] We closed yesterday with a bid for $4.00. Today DCHT stock reached $5.00. This is day 2 of a 20 day countdown to probable Nasdaq qualification. Next
trading target is $8 (circa all time high) with 4 new support and 5 its trading pivot.
[12/28]. Today DCHT is flirting for the second day with $4. Obviously this can be a big fight zone and is a key stock pivot. The stock currently has minor support at
3.84, major support at 3.50 [to be replaced by 4 in January?] and secondary support at 3. We are projecting $5 before February as it looks very likely that DCHT could
be on Nasdaq shortly before or after their January 28th annual meeting.
We continue to recommend DCHT as a strong buy with a new 6-12 month target of $8 to $10.
Todate we have seen the first 400% trading profits, what is next?
We see $1.25 to $1.50 becoming trader BUY points and no longer the SELL areas it was after its first 400% trading move. Thereafter, what barriers to the next 400%?
These are the two key resistance points of $2 and $5.
$2 can easily be held and straddled with good investor relations and communication. Depending on the buying and selling here, it could retrace to $1.50 which would then
be very strong support, or take out $2.15 onto $3 or $4 as this is recognized by intermediate term traders as a January stock play par excellence.
For $5 to be reached AND held, will take either Nasdaq small cap and/or MAJOR news and progress.
Astrologically and seasonally, DCHT is a January cap stock.
It will not be affected by any Y2K worries nor December tax loss selling due to recent stock buying. We foresee strong sailing into February.
Currently we are forecasting a price target of $5-$8 within the February to July 2000 time frame.

Q & A
READER: Could you please give readers a very brief history of DCH and why the share price came down from over 4.00?
HW: For a brief history, visit the DCHTWeb site. Its stock went from 50 cents to $8, then gyrated a few months and then fell back to .75 last year. I would speculate
DCHT stock ran WAY ahead of itself and that investors sitting with 1000% profits within 2 months sold big time.
READER: February you mentioned more good news for DCH - do you think they will go up again to 1.50?
HW: My initial trading target for DCHT was $1.25 to $1.50 by December and $2 by February. It is also possible (and now my latest view) that it could rise to as much
as $5-8 between February to August. Whether true or not remains to be seen. The main trading issue is that if I were trading DCHT stock, I would now be a buyer in
the $1.25 to $1.50 zone, and not a seller, as was previously technically correct.
READER: It should be interesting to see if DCHT goes to 2 or 1.50 first this time.
HW: To me it is more interesting whether it reaches 2 in December or January and how long it will take to get to 4. You may wish to read Ram Capital Management`s
December 17 DCHT Report- it makes a strong case for a $10 stock price in 2000.

Es gibt aber auch NEWS:
PemFuelCells.com is Launched by CoPower.com to Market Hydrogen Powered Fuel Cells
January 10, 2000 08:22 AM
PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2000--CoPower.com, an Internet based marketer of hydrogen energy technology has unveiled it`s latest web address, http://www.pemfuelcells.com to market hydrogen fuel cells manufactured by DCH Technology, Inc. DCHT .
"We created PEMfuelcells.com, to make it easy for the people in both industry and government who are surfing the Internet for information on fuel cells to easily find DCH Technology and their distinct line of fuel cell product families," stated Steven Oshinsky, the creator of CoPower.com.
DCHT`s circular fuel cell is unique in its design and looks similar to a large battery. It is a smaller, simpler class of fuel cell, which relies on ambient air pressure for oxygen and its own water generation to humidify the membranes. This completely eliminates the need for the pumps, fans and blowers that other types of fuel cells require, which increase both production costs and failure rates. Simplicity and reliability are key features at DCHT.
DCHT`s fuel cells range in size from as small as "D" sized batteries to as large as 3kW, or about enough to power a mobile home. They are specifically designed to provide "portable" and/or "backup" electric power and are the ideal size for powering remote locations which represents a niche market with a current and significant demand, and for emergency situations such as hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters. "We envision the day when the pollution and noise from small two stroke engines and gasoline and diesel powered generators are replaced with non-polluting and highly efficient fuel cell devices."
Sample applications for the small PEM`s include most consumer electronics, battery chargers, refrigeration, lighting, mobile computing and remote telecommunications. Larger applications will include scooters and motorbikes, marine vessels and navigation, and eventually anyone seeking "reliable" and "un-interruptable" sources of portable electricity.
With industry giant Plug Power PLUG targeting affordable fuel cell power for homes and small businesses, we believe that hydrogen powered fuel cells will be implemented into the mainstream economy far sooner than is currently predicted. The Plug Power residential unit is being marketed by General Electric, GE , and Detroit Edison, DTE , who jointly own majority positions in Plug Power along with First Albany Corp., FACT , and Mechanical Technology, MKTY .
Hydrogen Energy is currently one of the fastest growing industries globally; growing at an average annual rate in the US alone at over 30%. Hydrogen Energy is projected to grow into the trillions over the next decade. The Oil and Auto industries are now together on this issue and have taken the lead role announcing in December 1999, that a dedicated hydrogen filling station and fuel-cell vehicle test center will open in California by the autumn of 2000. Shell Hydrogen RD will jointly fund the fueling facility, along with Arco (Atlantic Richfield Co) ARC and Texaco Inc. TX . The station will dispense liquid and compressed hydrogen fuel for 16 fuel-cell powered passenger vehicles. Automobile companies involved in the venture include DaimlerChrysler AG DCX , Ford Motor Co F , Honda Motor Co Ltd and Volkswagen AG (VOWG.F) and each will have garage bays at the center for servicing, repairs and diagnostics. Automotive Fuel Cell giant Ballard Power Systems, BLDP , CA:BLD BLDPF is providing the fuel cell system. Further details of the operation are available on the World Wide Web, at: http://www.drivingthefuture.org
The global shift to the use of Hydrogen as a fuel is already under way. With the automobile and oil companies now solidly behind this "once in a millennium" event, the requirements for power at different levels will be met by several different companies. With Ballard focussing on PEM units for stationery power plants and transportation applications; and Plug Power focussing on homes and small businesses, we expect DCH Technology to be the leader in the "portable power" application.
"Portable Power is a market with an appreciable demand today, and an unlimited demand in the not too distant future. PEMfuelcells.com will play an integral and strategic role in our overall long term marketing strategy."
CoPower.com is an Internet based marketing service for renewable and hydrogen energy technology.

Xybernaut(R) and DCH Technology Begin Joint Development of Fuel-Cell Power for Wearable PC
Fuel Cells Promise Long-lasting Power Source for Mobile Computing
FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Xybernaut Corporation (Nasdaq: XYBR - news), the leader in wearable computing solutions, today announced that it is developing a wearable PC to run on hydrogen fuel cells in a joint development effort with DCH Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DCHT - news) of Valencia California.
``Fuel cells can potentially provide an unlimited supply of portable power and may be the perfect solution to the currently limited life for batteries used for portable electronics,`` stated, Edward G. Newman, president and CEO of Xybernaut. ``With the successful development of fuel cells to power the Mobile Assistant, we believe we will be able to increase the current mobile operating time to 12-24 hours or more, and dramatically expand our market as a result. This combination of expanded battery life in conjunction with our patent portfolio of more than 450 patent applications awarded and pending will further position Xybernaut to maintain its leading role in the wearable computing industry. We are excited to be working with DCH Technology in this area to commercialize fuel-cells for future wearable products.``
``This partnering of wearable computers and fuel cells is the next logical step in the evolution of existing power source technology for portable devices,`` stated David Haberman, chairman of DCH Technology.`` As computers become more powerful and their applications and use in the field more widespread, the need to constantly monitor and replace multiple battery packs will become an avoidable and unnecessary inconvenience. Current computing technology has greatly exceeded the capabilities of the most advanced battery technologies, but a fuel cell will continue to supply electricity as long as the user supplies it hydrogen. Additionally, fuel cells are an environmental friendly and socially responsible development as there will be fewer dead batteries to worry about disposal problems. We see the wearable computing market as another example of an industry with a current and immediate need for improved power solutions, and we see a major opportunity for our fuel cells with the Xybernaut team.``

Sollte man jetzt spekulativ kaufen?
