IPC ARCHTEC AG (WKN 525280) quoted on the New Market announces that the loan insurance companies have partially or wholly reduced the insurance lines of the suppliers of IPC ARCHTEC AG. The loan insurance companies are making their further commitment dependent on a solution in the area of external finance. The company has encountered these problems as a result of the recently announced decision by one of the four major banks to withdraw from its commitment. House banks and loan insurance companies will immediately conduct talks with IPC ARCHTEC AG with the aim of safeguarding current commitments in the short and medium term through a solution borne by all parties. On this basis the company will revise the planning estimates for the 2002 business year. The company will publish the revised plan for the 2002 business year on 05-03-2002
