      CyberCash Signs 20,000th Online Merchant

CyberCash Customer Base Doubles, Transactions Skyrocket as Solutions Support Boom in
      Electronic Commerce

      February 15, 2000 11:24 AM
RESTON, Va., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CyberCash, Inc. CYCH , the worlds leading provider of electronic payment
technologies and services, today announced that it has doubled its Internet merchant base to 20,000 in a year.

This milestone in the company`s growth followed last month`s announcement of record revenues in the fourth quarter of
1999, in addition to the 300% increase in transactions processed over the Internet by CyberCash.

ReplayDVD.com became the 20,000th merchant to select CyberCash software, CashRegister3(TM), to process online
payments -- a critical component of a successful e-commerce site.

"CyberCash is committed to providing online merchants with the best electronic-payment processing systems available
anywhere," said James J. Condon, President and Chief Executive Officer of CyberCash. "We are proud to welcome
ReplayDVD to our growing list of satisfied customers, who last year used our CashRegister Internet payment service to
process 57 million transactions -- more than anyone in the industry."

CashRegister payment processing service provides customers with real time, online authorization and settlement of their
transactions. CashRegister enables online merchants to accept payments at a Web site and securely process these
payments through a financial institution and credit card processor. CyberCash responds to the three things online
merchants need most in a payment service -- reliability, security and simplicity.

"CyberCash helps us by providing payment software that is easy to install and use so we can focus on our customers and
core business," said Steve Fischer, President of ReplayDVD.com. "At ReplayDVD.com, our mission is providing movie fans
with easy access to their favorite films and Hollywood news."

ReplayDVD joins some of the Internet`s leading e-commerce sites using CyberCash, including; FatBrain.com,
      PalmPilot.com Reel.com, SmarterKids.com, Toysrus.com, and Vitamins.com.

The growing base of merchants reaffirms CyberCash`s momentum in the payment industry. The company recently
announced a series of milestones, including processing a record 57.4 million transactions in 1999, tripling the previous year.
Internet service revenues rose 110 percent in 1999, while software revenue rose 65 percent.

Meanwhile, CyberCash payment software for brick-and-mortar businesses shipped to more than 133,000 merchants, by far
the largest installed base in the industry.

"We are poised to take full advantage of the anticipated explosion in online transactions," Condon said. "We are dedicated
to supporting our online merchants with the finest technology and service and assisting the traditional retailers we serve as
      they move onto the Net."

      Hi to all

CyberCash Helps McCain, Bradley Campaigns Accept Donations Over the Internet
Dozens of Internet Campaign Sites Choose CyberCash for Secure Payment Processing
RESTON, Va., Feb. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- CyberCash, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYCH - news), the world`s leading provider of Internet payment technologies and services, announced today that it is providing payment processing technology for Sen. John McCain, Bill Bradley and dozens of other candidates who are moving their campaigns online.

CyberCash`s CashRegister service enables contributors to make online donations to political campaigns by providing fast and secure processing for credit card contributions.

McCain`s campaign reported that the Republican Senator from Arizona had raised more than $2 million for his presidential campaign through his Web site following the New Hampshire primary. Bradley`s campaign has reported raising $1.6 million through the former Democratic senator`s Web site.

``The Internet economy is revolutionizing the world of campaign fundraising,`` said Chuck Riegel, Executive Vice President for Worldwide Marketing at CyberCash. ``Political Web sites need the same security, speed and reliability as e-commerce sites and our service is the one that best meets their needs.``

Aristotle, a company that provides candidates with Web fundraising tools, is using CashRegister to power payments for more than 150 candidates in local, state and federal elections, including previous presidential campaigns of Pat Buchanan and Dan Quayle.

``Federal regulations are very clear on how donations must be reported and CyberCash provides the speed and reliability we need,`` said Kim Ulrey, Vice President of E-Commerce at Aristotle. ``Security and simplicity are vitally important, and CyberCash has functioned flawlessly in every case.``

Political professionals say online fundraising is cheaper, easier and faster than the traditional avenues of raising funds. Online fundraising also brings in money from non-traditional sources and helps demonstrate grassroots support. Their banking partner, Wachovia Bank, recommended CyberCash to Aristotle.

``Political Web sites choose CyberCash to process contributions because they know us as the market leaders in payment processing for the Internet,`` Riegel said. ``Whether e-commerce or e-politics, CyberCash is the best payment processing service online.``

The CashRegister payment processing service provides customers with real time, online authorization and settlement of transactions. CashRegister allows online merchants and candidates to accept payments at Web sites and securely process these payments through a financial institution and credit card processor.

Earlier this month, CyberCash announced that it had doubled its Internet merchant base to 20,000 customers in a year. Last year the company`s online payment service, CashRegister, processed 57 million transactions -- more than any other payment processing company in the industry.

CyberCash has experienced enormous growth as the leading provider of payment processing services to the exploding Net economy. The company processed a record 57.4 million transactions in 1999, tripling the previous year. Internet service revenues rose 110 percent last year.
