At present undiscovered possible gas reserves are 47.2 trillion cubic meters in Russia, including 26 trillion cubic meters that belong to Gazprom, Vadim Staroselsky, the representative of Gazprom, declared at a conference devoted to investment projects in the fuel and energy sector, which is held in St. Petersburg today. He pointed out that, according to the company`s forecasts, Gazprom reserves would grow to 29.7 trillion cubic meters by 2031.
As reported earlier, the volume of gas production in Russia was 575bn cubic meters last year, which was 740m cubic meters higher than in 2001. Gazprom produced 521bn cubic meters last year.

The volume of gas production in Russia will increase 13 percent to 650bn cubic meters by 2010 and to 750bn cubic meters by 2020, Valery Staroselsky, a representative of the Russian gas monopolist Gazprom, announced at a press conference today. The conference was devoted to investment projects in the fuel and energy sector, the state and outlooks for this sector in the CIS. In 2002, Russia produced 575bn cubic meters of gas, 750m cubic meters more than in 2001. Gazprom`s production reached 521bn cubic meters last year.

Gazprom and Gaz de France sign agreement on gas supplies

Gazprom and Gaz de France signed an agreement on natural gas supplies in Paris today. The agreement is for supplying France with 8bn cubic meters of gas until the year 2015 inclusively. According to Gazprom`s press service, the agreement prolongs the term of the major export contract by 7 years. Prices mentioned in the contract take into account cost increases due to production and transportation of gas.
Gaz de France`s CEO Pierre Gadonneix claims the agreement assures stable supplies of Russian gas to France and strengthens ties between the companies.

Gazprom`s subsidiary Gazexport will buy 5bn-6bn
cubic meters of gas from Turkmenneftegaz in 2004, the press service of Gazprom
reported. The agreement was achieved at today`s meeting of Turkmen President
Saparmurat Niyazov and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller who signed an agreement on
cooperation for 25 years.
In accordance with the signed document, in 2005 Turkmen gas exports will advance
to 6bn-7bn cubic meters, up to 10bn cubic meters in 2006, 60bn-70bn cubic meters
in 2007, 63bn-73bn cubic meters in 2008 and from 70bn to 80bn cubic meters
starting from 2009.
The agreement will come into effect on January1, 2004 and expire on December 31,
2028.

Ich bin von den Zahlen ganz oben ausgegangen: jährliche Förderung von 575 Milliarden m³ bis 2031, dann sind noch 29700 Milliarden m³ übrig, macht insgesamt ungefähr 46000 Milliarden m³ Gas.
Ca. 300 m³ Gas entsprechen 1 Barrel Ölequivalent, also insgesamt ca. 150 Milliarden boe.
Vom Irak habe ich etwas von ca. 100 Milliarden boe gehört, Gazprom hätte nach dieser Rechnung also mehr.
Was hälst Du von der Rechnung ???

Crösus, wenn die Zahlen stimmen dann ist das eine mehr als interessante Rechnung! Mir fehlen derzeit noch Angaben ob die Mengen so stimmen, auch weiss ich nicht ob man Gas so in Öl umrechnen kann - aber wenn, dann ist das wie gesagt hoch interessant. Erstmal vielen Dank!
