      US-Explorationswerte: Gewinner

Tri-Valley Quarterly Report (SEC form 10-Q)

ITEM 2. MANAGEMENT`S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL CONDITION AND RESULTS -
      OF OPERATIONS

      Business Review, August 13, 2003

      Notice Regarding Forward-Looking Statements
This report contains forward-looking statements. The words, "anticipate," "believe," "expect," "plan," "intend," "estimate," "project," "could," "may," "foresee," and similar expressions are intended to identify forward-looking statements. These statements include information regarding expected development of the Company`s business, lending activities, relationship with customers, and development in the oil and gas industry. Should one or more of these risks or uncertainties occur, or should underlying assumptions prove incorrect, actual results may vary materially and adversely from those anticipated, believed, estimated or otherwise indicated.

      Petroleum Activities -
We began drilling the Sunrise-Mayel #2H-R on May 8, 2003. We successfully reached total depth on May 21, 2003, at which time we suspended operation while waiting on the equipment to artificially fracture (frac) the targeted formation. We did frac the well on July 7, 2003, and are currently waiting on the recovery of the frac fluid to determine the results of this downhole formation. We are estimating this to take at least 30 days before we will know if this operation is successful.
We were notified the day before we frac`d Sunrise-Mayel #2H-R that a well we had been working over was blowing natural gas into the atmosphere. A piece of equipment failed and was allowing the natural gas to escape, however there was no fire. We enlisted the aid of a team from Boots and Coots to come to the location and assist. These individuals are a team who specialize in uncontrolled wells. We were able to get the blow out under control and the well is back on production.
We have been permitted by the Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources to drill the next prospect on our schedule; the name of the prospect is Oil Creek. We expect to begin making location in August 2003.

      Precious Metals
We had no activity in Alaska on our gold mining claims in the six months ended June 30, 2003. However, in early July we began mobilization of equipment to begin the drilling of 108 drill holes to further define our mining claims potential. We expect to complete this activity in mid to late August 2003.
Three Months Ended June 30, 2003 as compared with Three Months ended June 30,
In the quarter ended June 30 revenue was $1,190,371 compared to $857,241 for the same quarter in 2002. This increase was from the sale of partnership interests in our drilling program.
      ITEM 2. (CONTINUED)

Costs and expenses increased $125,030 for the period ending June 30, 2003, compared to the same period in 2002. Oil & gas lease expenses were $54,669 less for the quarter ended June 30, 2003, due to a decreased amount of workovers for the same quarter in 2002. Mining expenses were $20,887 more in this quarter than in 2002, due to repair work on the Richardson roadhouse. The roadhouse is a facility we use as a base for our exploration activities in Alaska. It was broken into and all of the fixtures and appliances were stolen and the building was damaged. Project geology, geophysics, land and administration expenses were $256,689 higher for the quarter ended June 30, 2003, compared to the same quarter in 2002. This increase is due to increased activity to better define our projects and develop new ones. General and administration costs were $369,665 higher for the quarter ended June 30, 2003, compared to the same quarter in 2002. This was due to increased investor relation costs and state income taxes.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2003, we had a loss of $152,183 compared to a loss of $360,283 for the quarter ended June 30, 2002. The smaller loss was due to the increased revenue from the sale of partnership interests in our drilling program.
Six Months Ended June 30, 2003 as compared to Six Months ended June 30, 2002
Our revenue increased $427,206 over the same six-month period last year. This increase was from increased income from oil and gas sales due to increased natural gas prices. Another area that improved was the $330,610 increase in sales of partnership interests in our drilling program.
Costs and expenses were $367,367 more in the period ended June 30, 2003, than in the same period last year. Oil and gas lease expenses were $48,067 less in 2003 due to a decreased amount of well workovers. Project geology, geophysics, land & administration costs were $454,555 higher in this period compared to 2002 due to increased activity in our OPUS-I partnership project. General and administrative costs were $111,190 more in the six months ended June 30, 2003, compared to the same six month period in 2002. G & A expenses were higher in 2003 because we recorded $69,000 in directors fees/expenses, an increase of $14,000 in office supplies and a $25,000 expense for a bonus paid to the president of the Company pursuant to his employment contract.
We had a loss of $573,590 for the six months ended June 30, 2003, compared to $624,399 for the same six months period in 2002. This $50,809 difference is because we realized higher income from the sale of partnership interests in 2003.

      Capital Resources and Liquidity
We have funded our oil and gas exploration activities primarily with proceeds raised through privately placed drilling programs. We make decisions on the amount of capital expenditures for drilling as funds become available for that purpose. We do not, as a rule, rely on borrowings to fund drilling operations or other activities.

Tri-Valley rigs up to drill big oil and gas play

Bakersfield, California, August 19, 2003. Tri-Valley Corporation (OTC BB: TRIL) expects a big boost from its oil and natural gas exploration efforts as it builds location on its big Oil Creek Prospect near Coalinga, California, to move in a drill rig next week.

The Company expects the test to be closely watched by the industry as the 10,800-foot bore will pass through at least six separate potentially oil and gas rich horizons which are near to the giant Coalinga Field with area production nearly two billion barrels of oil and nearly four trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

?This very large target is typical of our exploration inventory where we strive for discovery success on a large scale that can exceptionally reward our drilling partners and add exponential value to our shares. It can also make a meaningful contribution to consumer supply needs,? said F. Lynn Blystone, president and chief executive officer.

Company officials noted that dry hole risk exists at every level and prospect size in the exploration business but that success on very big targets like Oil Creek can add extraordinary value quickly. In the case of the Oil Creek Prospect, Tri-Valley geologists, engineers and geophysicists have speculated a potential, if all six horizons are hydrocarbon-saturated, in the range of 125 million barrels of oil and 125 billion cubic feet of natural gas, all unproven at this stage. Statistically, the best place to look for a major oilfield is within 12 miles of an existing major field and the Oil Creek Prospect is one and a half miles southwest of the East Coalinga Oilfield Extension.

?The supporting data from many sources along with its proximity to giant producing areas are compelling reasons to take the $3.5 million dollar financial risk to drill the Oil Creek play. Our partners are all individuals who wish to access the emerging investment opportunity related to the growing supply/demand imbalance, particularly in natural gas. We have designed an excellent program to leverage such investment in a big way right here and substantially mitigate the risk in the Bakersfield area, a region that produces three times as much oil per day as the entire State of Oklahoma,? Blystone said.

Blystone noted that Tri-Valley?s most recent prospect drill, the Sunrise-Mayel No. 2HR gas well near Delano, California, is still cleaning up after hydraulic fracturing and the Company will pump out the remaining fluid over the next two weeks in order to establish a flow rate.

?Again, this is a real nail-biter as a commercial flow rate on the Sunrise well will infer gross prospect viability and justify not only building a pipeline to sell that production from this well but also develop more than 10 square miles of mapped area in the play which we believe holds a massive amount of gas in place that could make a difference in California?s ?gas pains?,? Blystone said.

Both the Sunrise-Mayel No. 2HR and the Oil Creek Prospects are part of a larger inventory of 26 very large targets assembled by Tri-Valley for a major exploration push to find big, new, flush production, long life oil and gas reserves despite the probability of numerous dry holes in the process. The Company believes that it can deliver a multiple return to investors on only 1% discovery success of the aggregate potential of the 26 prospects because the selected targets are so large.

?In our country, the responsibility for replacing the reserves of the nation is left to the private sector. We have been able to assemble major company-sized targets and craft a drilling fund that enables individual, accredited investors who can accept the risks to participate. Discovery success is a win, win, win for drilling partners, Tri-Valley shareholders, and American citizens,? Blystone said.

The Company and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Bakersfield, California, a premier oil-producing province of the western hemisphere. Tri-Valley Corporation stock is publicly traded on the over-the-counter bulletin board under the symbol ?TRIL.OB? in the United States and in Europe on the Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges under the symbol ?TVC WKN 911919.? Tri-Valley funds next project

BAKERSFIELD, California, September 8, 2003. Tri-Valley Corporation (OTC BB “TRIL”) has completed the full $2,040,000 funding to drill its Oil Lake Prospect soon after it completes its Oil Creek Prospect, now being drilled near Coalinga, California. The Oil Lake Prospect is located on the southwest side of Buena Vista Lake, just south of the giant Elk Hills Oilfield and east of America’s most productive oilfield outside of Alaska, the multi-billion barrel Midway-Sunset Oilfield, all west of Bakersfield, California.

“Being only 1 ½ miles from production and on the Buena Vista structure (formerly Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 2), we view this test of the Buena Vista extension as a ‘develo-cat.’ That is, it combines close-in features with the higher risk of trying to discover a new field extension,” said Joseph R. Kandle, president of the operating subsidiary, Tri-Valley Oil & Gas Company.

The Company is in the final permit stages and expects to commence operations on Oil Lake next month.

“The Buena Vista structure has produced 660 million barrels of oil and one trillion cubic feet of natural gas and this well will test eight of the 12 horizons that historically produce on the structure,” according to Paul Hacker, Tri-Valley’s consulting geologist on the play.

“As the investing public becomes increasingly aware of the growing oil and gas supply/demand imbalance, they are looking for programs to access the opportunity and we’ve designed one that provides statistical probability of discovery success on a very large scale,” said F. Lynn Blystone, president and chief executive officer of Tri-Valley Corporation.

Tri-Valley’s exploration inventory contains very large targets like the 150 million barrel of oil equivalent (BOE) potential of the Oil Creek Prospect now drilling as well as the estimated 85 million BOE potential of Oil Lake Prospect. Until discovery success occurs, neither of these targets are proven and represent speculative upside at this stage. Still, they illustrate the magnitude of the upside leverage possible in the event of discovery.

“With consumers fretting over higher gasoline prices, the only sure solution is discovery of big, new, flush production reserves and Tri-Valley has two dozen big targets for investors to consider for exceptional reward potential as well as the possibility of making a difference for California citizens,” Blystone said.

The Company and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Bakersfield, California, a premier oil-producing province of the western hemisphere. Tri-Valley Exploratory Well has Oil and Gas shows

Bakersfield, California, September 19, 2003. Tri-Valley Corporation’s (OTCBB: TRIL) Oil Creek Prospect exploratory test well is encountering oil and gas shows in one of its main objective sands, the Company disclosed today.

“While encouraging, mud log shows in the Gatchell Sand below 8,500 feet are not conclusive and are totally speculative at this time,” according to F. Lynn Blystone, president and chief executive officer. The Company plans to continue drilling through several hundred feet of the formation before deciding to log the well and will then resume drilling to the target depth of 10,800 feet.

The Oil Creek exploratory prospect has about 2,000 mapped acres near Coalinga, California, an area that has produced nearly two billion barrels of oil and nearly four trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

The Company and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Bakersfield, California, a premier oil-producing province of the western hemisphere. Hallo, hier die neuste Nachricht:

Tri-Valley pauses drilling on Oil-Creek well

Bakersfield, California, September 24, 2003. After encountering oil and gas shows in 200 feet of the Gatchell Sand and 116 feet in the Martinez Interval along with a rapid overpressure buildup, Tri-Valley Corporation (OTC BB: TRIL) has paused drilling while still in the Martinez Interval at 9,446 feet to case the hole before proceeding to the target depth of 10,800 feet to test two additional intervals, those being the Martinez Sand and the Brown Mountain Sand. Electric log readings are within the parameters of other producers in the Gatchell formation, which has so far produced some 500 million barrels.

The well is a test of a possible extension of the East Coalinga Extension, which is a mere 1½ miles from the Oil Creek #1 drillsite near the town of Coalinga, California, about 100 miles north of Bakersfield. Fields in the Coalinga area have given up nearly two billion barrels of oil and nearly four trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

Tri-Valley has mapped 2,800 acres of closure in its Oil Creek Prospect, one of 26 very large targets in its drilling program. While in no way proven at this stage, Tri-Valley’s speculative target was a potential 150 million barrels of oil equivalent.

The Company and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Bakersfield, California, a premier oil-producing province of the western hemisphere. Tri-Valley Corporation stock is publicly traded on the over-the-counter bulletin board under the symbol “TRIL.OB” in the United States and in Europe on the Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges under the symbol “TVC WKN 911919.” Our company websites, which include all SEC filings, are www.tri-valleycorp.com and www.tri-valley.de.

Tri-Valley to complete Oil Creek Discovery

BAKERSFIELD, California, October 6, 2003. With 235 feet of hydrocarbon section logged in the first, second and third Panoche Sands down to 10,600 feet, Tri-Valley Corporation (OTC BB TRIL) will extend production casing to bottom on its Oil Creek Prospect near Coalinga, California, for a completion attempt in the Cretaceous interval.

According to Paul Hacker, Tri-Valley’s consulting geologist, the nearest Cretaceous production is 35 miles away and the company believes this well may set the stage for a major California gas play.

All told, the Company has logged in excess of 800 feet of oil and gas shows in various intervals to establish great promise for its 2,800 acres of mapped closure within its lease block.

Tri-Valley has built an exploration inventory of 26 very large prospects in a search for major new reserves for California, the world’s fifth largest economy, which presently imports nearly 60% of its oil and nearly 90% of its natural gas needs.

“We are looking for targets of a size that will extraordinarily reward our drilling partners, exponentially increase our stock value and substantially support consumer needs upon discovery success. We modeled the Oil Creek prospect on 125 feet of pay to attain a target potential of 150 million barrels of oil equivalent and we are exceptionally enthused about the potentials now being reported,” said F. Lynn Blystone, president and chief executive officer.

Joseph R. Kandle, president of the operating subsidiary, Tri-Valley Oil & Gas Co., noted that the Oil Creek test well is the oiliest and gassiest well he has seen in his 38-year history as a widely experienced petroleum engineer and the log run is reporting excellent opportunity in several zones as he moves in completion equipment.

      Hallo liebe Leser
Schlusskurs heute an der OTCBB auf Tageshoch
      4,10 $,+9,33%.
All Time High bei 4,20 $

      Hallo Araberfan,

Tri-Valley launches search for another major new oil field

BAKERSFIELD, California, October 15, 2003. Tri-Valley Corporation (OTC BB: TRIL) announced commencement of operations to drill its Oil Lake Prospect to search for a major new oilfield between the flanks of the giant Buena Vista Oil Field and the Elk Hills Oilfield some 40 miles southwest of Bakersfield, California. The Company’s operating subsidiary, Tri-Valley Oil & Gas Co., will begin building location immediately and hopes to spud the exploration well before the end of October.

Officials and technical consultants who assembled the play speculate the possibility of 85 million barrels of oil equivalent off of the northeast flank of the anticlinal closure.

The Buena Vista Oilfield, which has produced over 600 million barrels of oil and over 1.1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, has 15 total zones in the field. Tri-Valley’s test well will penetrate at least 7 of these zones to 7,500’.

“We believe the potential for oil and gas is high in the relatively shallow formations on this lease and perhaps even deep horizons, although this well will not test below 7,500 feet,” said Joseph R. Kandle, TVOG president.

Tri-Valley has recently drilled a string of very large prospects in the Bakersfield region with emerging success of discoveries of exceptional amounts of oil and gas in place in “tight” formations which require additional engineering to produce at commercial rates. The Company’s most recent drill, the Oil Creek Prospect near Coalinga, California, appears to have more conventional formations and has logged in excess of 800 feet of oil and gas shows from 4,500 feet to bottom at 10,600 feet. It is in the process of being completed for a production test over the next four weeks. Tri-Valley’s Oil Lake Prospect is expected to be ready for drilling within two weeks.

“We have an inventory of more than two dozen very large targets, any one of which could add exponential value to our stock as well as exceptionally reward our private investor drilling partners on discovery. Success on targets of this magnitude will ultimately help California consumers who need abundant new supplies to maintain reasonable cost of petroleum products,” said F. Lynn Blystone, chief executive officer.

“In our country, the responsibility of finding new reserves is left to the private sector and investors who can afford the risk of loss have an extraordinary upside opportunity with really big prospects such as Tri-Valley assembles,” Blystone says.

He noted that the Bakersfield area is a premier oil-producing region with current daily production three times as much as the entire State of Oklahoma. California, as the world’s fifth largest economy, imports nearly 60% of its oil and nearly 90% of its preferred fuel, natural gas, and its demand increases apace against declining supply. Tri-Valley is exploring for major new supplies to at least offset decline if not add beyond it.

“California is increasingly beholden to outside sources for is energy needs which has led to a political upheaval in how that mounting crisis should be dealt with. We believe that our massive exploration program, along with other companies’ efforts, is the only real way to make the difference between inexpensive abundance and skyrocketing prices associated with deficient supply and big projects like Oil Creek and Oil Lake can reward everyone, shareholders, drilling partners and consumers,” Blystone said.

The Company and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Bakersfield, California. Tri-Valley approved for AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE

BAKERSFIELD, California, October 23, 2003. Tri-Valley Corporation’s (OTC BB: TRIL) application for listing its stock for trading on the American Stock Exchange has been approved, it was announced today by F. Lynn Blystone, president and chief executive officer.

Presently traded on the over the counter electronic bulletin board under the symbol TRIL, Tri-Valley’s share price closed yesterday at $4.65 giving the 19,851,378 issued and outstanding shares a market value of $92,308,908.

While the Company expects actual trading to begin on Wednesday, October 29, 2003, through Cohen Specialists, LLC, of New York City, this approval is contingent upon the Company being in compliance with all applicable listing standards on the date it begins trading on the Exchange, and may be rescinded if the Company is not in compliance with such standards.

“We believe our listing on the American Stock Exchange will provide our shareholders with greater stability and liquidity and more fully reflect the value of discovery success from our ambitious domestic oil and gas exploration program. Given the mounting concerns over energy sources and supply, we believe listing on the AMEX is especially propitious at this time,” Blystone said.

The AMEX trading symbol will be TIV and several days of procedural and administrative matters are yet to be concluded before the actual transfer of trading from the bulletin board to the AMEX will become effective.

The Company estimates that it has approximately 5,000 shareholders throughout the North America and Europe and that its stock is widely held in that shareholder base. On Monday of this week 96.6% of the outstanding shares voted at the Company’s annual meeting and management received 99.7% of the vote.

Tri-Valley Corporation and its subsidiaries, Tri-Valley Oil & Gas Co. and Tri-Valley Power Corporation are headquartered in Bakersfield, California entering the 41st year of business as a successful operating company and 31 years as a full reporting 12 (g) publicly traded Delaware Corporation. Noch einmal zur Erinnerung:

      US-Explorationswerte: Gewinner

Dear Mr. xxxxxx: Thank you for your e mail of October 16. As I and our other officers were in San Francisco for the annual shareholder meeting I was delayed in answering until now.

The Sunrise Natural Gas Project host an immense amount of gas in place in very "tight" (dense) formations which have so far resisted our efforts to liberate the gas at commercial rates. We are preparing to test another approach of flushing the formation with acid to eat away what may be limestone obstructions inhibiting the flow of the gas. We should see an answer by the first week in November. If the test is successful (it`s being done in the Sunrise-Mayel No.1, a vertically drilled well with minimum formation exposure) then we will try the process of the Sunrise-Mayel No. 2 HR, a horizontally drilled and fractured well and we would know if we have commercial recovery before the end of the year.

The main natural gas sales line is only 4,500 feet (1,370 meters) from the well and we expect the transportation charge to be minimal.

      Very truly yours,
