Bei Biopure zögert sich die Zulassung von Hemopure immer weiter hinaus - jetzt bwird es wieder mindestens 6 Monate dauern, bis mna mit Ergebnissen rechnen kann - Tierstudien werden noch benötigt, ob Humanstudien sich anschliessen ist noch offen...

Wenn man hier im Board die alten Beiträge liest, so ist es zweifelhaft, ob Hemopure jemals die Zulassung bekommt...

Sollte aber ein konkreter Entscheidungstermin genannt werden, so kann man noch einmal ein paar Wochen davor einen Zock starten... vor der Entscheidung sollte man jedoch lieber glattstellen... die Phantasie dürfte den Kurs in diesen Wochen hochtreiben... siehe Chart des letzten Anstiegs... man sollte aber auch den Absturz beachten... sollte es keine Zulassung geben dann ist es vorbei mit BPUR!

Biopure: FDA Raises More Concerns About Hemopure

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Dow Jones)--Biopure Corp. (NasdaqNM:BPUR - News) said the Food and Drug Administration (News - Websites) raised more safety and effectiveness concerns about Hemopure, an alternative to human blood transfusions, beyond those the agency raised in August.

Company representatives weren`t immediately available to describe those concerns in further detail.

In a press release Thursday, the company said the FDA is also waiting on results of three additional tests of Hemopure on swine, which the agency requested last summer.

Biopure said it has submitted protocols for those preclinical trials, and that once it has come to an agreement with the FDA on how to proceed, will have results submitted to the agency within six months. The FDA will decide whether it needs to see additional human clinical trials based on the results of these animal studies.

Biopure submitted a biologics license application, or BLA, in July 2002, to market Hemopure in the U.S. for the treatment of acutely anemic adult patients undergoing orthopedic surgery and for the elimination or reduction of red blood cell transfusions in these patients. Hemopure is an oxygen-carrying protein derived from the blood of slaughtered beef cattle.

Biopure said Thursday it still believes Hemopure is both safe and effective for the uses described in the BLA. The company`s stock closed at $2.38 Wednesday, 20 cents above a 52-week low set Jan. 29, 2003.

Bei 1,85 wird es aber zu riskant, da bei positiven News 200-300% sicher sind! Ausserdem wird die Eindeckung für den finalen Zock (Entscheidung wohl in 6 Monaten) in Kürze schon beginnen!
