Dear Sirs,
I'm a long-term shareholder of Avino and have a question regarding the latest financials:
in 2015 there was a big difference between the Silver equiv. oz. produced (3.020.348) and the Silver equiv. oz. sold (1.140.029). This difference can't be seen in the inventory figures.
Could you please explain this difference ?
Thank you very much for your response.
Best Regards,
xxxx xxxxx
Hi xxxx,
I apologize for the late reply but we have been very busy with the market, Q1 2016 and everything else.
It was all sold. Silver equivalent sold was reported at revenue from San Gonzalo, the other from Avino which is reported as recovery of Exploration and Development Expense until commercial production is declared. Note 5; $5,577,221 sale of concentrate.
Cheers,

Frage an Avino

Before we get into financial results I want to preface the discussion by letting you know that the details relate only to the sale of San Gonzalo mine concentrate, as we have not yet declared commercial production at the Avino mine. Additionally, all of the financial figures are based on production from January and February only.
We signed a new agreement for the sale of San Gonzalo mine concentrate in March. The new agreement has a slightly different shipping schedule, meaning that March concentrate was not shipped by the end of the quarter and will be accounted for in our Q2, 2016 financials instead along with the proceeds from April and May. Despite this we were still profitable.
Revenue from mine operating for the quarter was $2.8 million compared to $4.3 million during the comparative quarter last year. As I mentioned this was only for the sale of San Gonzalo concentrate during January and February. Proceeds from the sale of Avino concentrate totaled $5.6 million, but was recorded as a recovery of exploration and evaluation expenses rather than revenue this quarter. Proceeds from the sale of Avino concentrate will be reported as revenue when management has made a production decision.
The mine plan calls for 20 to 24 month of development which began in Q4 of 2014. So we are getting close. Additionally, we announced in our April 11 news release that underground mining commenced on April 1 on the upper level 11.5 using the long hole sub-level caving method, indicating that we were beginning to transition out of the development phase.

Avino Reports Q1 2016 Financial Results
FIRST QUARTER 2016 HIGHLIGHTS
1. Generated revenues of $2,751,949 million from the sale of San Gonzalo concentrates
2. Mine operating income amounted to $1,775,185 million
3. Net income after taxes amounted to $58,046
4. Produced 715,933 silver equivalent ounces, including 403,447 ounces of silver, 1,497 ounces of gold
and 1,350,912 pounds of copper
5. Consolidated all-in sustaining cost ("AISC")1 was $11.29 (US$8.22) per payable silver equivalent ounce,
a 9% decrease compared to $12.36 or (US$10.09) per ounce in the first quarter of 2015
6. Total consolidated cash1 cost was $5.64 per payable silver ounce
7. Average realized selling prices for silver and gold were US$16.42 and US$1,194 per ounce respectively
8. Cash and cash equivalents of $6,022,283 million were on hand at the end of the quarter
"We are pleased to have delivered another quarter of positive operating and financial results.
Our revenues from the San Gonzalo Mine were lower than expected due to a new sales arrangement which resulted in only two months of sales.
Going forward, each quarter will reflect three months of sales and related production costs.
Our teams in Mexico and Canada have done an excellent job of monitoring and reducing costs, with stronger metal prices we anticipate improved profitability in future periods.
During the quarter we achieved a consolidated all-in sustaining cash cost of $11.29 (US$8.22)
compared to $12.36 (US$10.09) per silver equivalent ounce in the first quarter of 2015.
In April 2016, the Company commenced underground mining using the long-hole caving method at the Avino Mine.
Management is currently analyzing the economics of the new mining method and is optimistic that the results will lead to a commercial production decision in the coming months."

Hatte schon in anderen Threads nach Dir gefragt.
Dein letzter Log-in lag weit zurück.
