      Vice Admiral Henry C. Giffin, III , was born in Bronxville, New York. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Naval Science from the United States Naval Academy in 1967 and was commissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Navy. While at the Naval Academy, he was selected as an Honorable Mention " All American " in Lacrosse.


      His sea duty assignment include tours of duty on USS STICKELL (DD 888) as Communications Officer/ Electronics, Material Officer/Operations Officer; on USS WARRINGTON (DD 843) as Operations Officer, on USS BLANDY (DD 943) as Executive Officer, and as Commanding Officer, USS DOMINANT (MSO 431), USS BRISCOE 9DD 977), and USS THOMAS S. GATES (CG 51). During these command tours he participated in Cuban Refugee, Lebanon Crisis, Counter Drug and Desert Shield/Storm operations.


      Ashore, he has served in the Naval Advisory Group, Vietnam and Naval Officer Training Center, U.S. Naval Academy Physical Education Department and later as Assistant Director of Candidate Guidance; Naval Military Personnel Command as an Assignment Officer; Office of the Chief of Naval Operations as Head, Surface Warfare Training Plans Branch, Surface Warfare Manpower and Training Requirements Division; and Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Navy Program Planning Division.


      Vice Admiral Giffin was promoted to Flag Rank in July 1992 and completed his first Flag Officer assignment in November 1994 as Assistant chief of Staff, Logistics, Allied Forces Southern Europe. Assigned as Commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group TWO in March 1995, he deployed to the Mediterranean as commander, George Washington Battle Group, and earned his second star in June 1995. In September 1996 he assumed duties as Deputy and Chief of Staff, United States Atlantic Fleet. He was promoted to vice Admiral and assumed command of the Atlantic Fleet Naval Surface Force of July 1, 1997.


      Vice Admiral Giffin earned his Master of Science Degree in Industrial Personnel Management from George Washington University. Additionally, he graduated with highest distinction from the National War College.


      His decorations include the Defense Superior Medal, the Legion of Merit with three gold stars; the Bronze Star; the Navy Commendation Medal with two gold stars; the Vietnam Honor Medal First Class; and various service and campaign awards.


      Currently Henry Giffin manages a sales division of a NYSE company. As group leader of his division he overseas several hundred staff members. This year his division has been responsible for several hundred million in sales to the US NAVY.

      Hallo

      Ich finde die Aktie auch sehr interessant und würde wohl bis zu 15`000 Stk. zu 0.03 USD kaufen, wenn ich könnte. Leider kann ich bei meinem Online Broker, immerhin einer der grössten broker in der Schweiz (Swissquote), keine "OTC BBS"-Aktien kaufen! Eventuell geht mit dem Premium-Abo, was aber für mich zu teuer ist.

      Mir fallen die für ein OTC-Papier recht hohe Umsätze positiv auf. Doch denkt einfach daran, dass Investionen in OTC-Aktien mit einem enormen Risiko verbunen sind. OTC-Aktien haben weder eine Valorennummer / Local-ID / WKN noch eine ISIN-Nr.!

      Das von Diamant herausgegebene Produkt (PVC-freie Folie) finde ich interessant. Ich denke, dass man immer wieder Verpackungen braucht. Aber macht es wirklich Sinn, PVC-freie Folien zu verwenden? PVC (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/PVC) ist nicht so schädlich wie FCKW (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCKW). Während der Einsatz von FCKW-freien Kühlschränken zum Schutze der Ozonschicht sicher Sinn macht, ist der Verzicht auf PVC nicht nötig, da dieser Stoff nicht so schädlich ist:

      Bei einem vollständigen Vergleich (Ökobilanz, Nachhaltigkeitsvergleich) schneiden PVC-Produkte gut ab – insbesondere wegen ihrer Langlebigkeit und ihres vergleichsweise niedrigen Energiebedarfs. Alle bisher veröffentlichten Gesamt-Bewertungen lehnen daher den Verzicht auf PVC ab und empfehlen ökologische Verbesserungen.

      Die Aktie wurde offenbar am 1. Dezember zu 0.14 USD herausgegeben. Seither ist der Kurs stark gesunken und notiert nun bei 0.03. Das macht mich extrem misstrauisch. Charttechnisch sieht das gar nicht gut aus. Warum sank der Kurs so stark seit der Ausgabe?

      Er ist noch nie nennenswert gestiegen. Es scheint so, als ob Diamant (korruptes Management?) irgendwie die Aktionäre verarschen will und denen das Geld aus der Tasche ziehen will. Es hat schon einen Grund, warum Diamant es nicht auf einem US-Börsenparkett geschafft hat und mit OTC vorlieb nehmen muss.

      Wie erwähnt: Ich kann keine OTC-Papiere handeln. Ich würde schon bis zu 500 USD oder 15`000 Aktien kaufen, wenn ich könnte. Dies, obwohl das Risiko sehr hoch ist und einfach alles an Diamant / DIAAF.NAP Scheisse aussieht: Alles hängt von einem einzigen Produkt ab, die Aktie ist extrem stark gesunken seit ihrer Ausgabe, nie nennenswert gestiegen und kann nur OTC gehandelt werden. Die Aktie ist für professionelle Anleger und Fonds total uninteressant. Ausserdem können wohl sehr viele Leute die Aktie gar nicht handeln, da die meisten broker wohl keinen OTC-Handel erlauben, jedenfalls nicht mit einem Standard-Abo. Und so sehr sinnvoll sind PVC-freie Produkte nicht, das PVC nicht besonders schädlich ist.
