Diamant Art Corporation Receives Strong Upgrade by Respected Research Firm
Management Continues Global Expansion
Diamant Art Corporation (OTC BB: DIAAF) is pleased to announce a well-respected firm, TSC, has upgraded their equity rating on DIAAF. This strong upgrade comes at a time when the Company has secured distribution rights of their non-PVC food wrap within the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, the Territory of People`s Republic of China, and now South Korea. TSC`s upgrade is also due in part to China`s ban of PVC plastic wrappers. This ban opens the door to a surge in sales of Diamant`s non-PVC food wrappers and their new oxo-biodegradable pallet wraps.
TSC is noted for their work with account executives, analysts, portfolio managers, institutions, venture capital investors, individual investors and the media.

We have also introduced a new oxo-biodegradable pallet wrapper, which degrades into biomass the natural ingredients in the Earth`s soil. With the recent ban of imported and exported PVC plastic wrappers by the Territory of the People`s Republic of China, we anticipate strong demand of our products from Asia`s population of 1.3 billion people. DIAMANT’S NON-PVC STRETCH WRAP
Certified under CCD-122 ensuring the product meets stringent requirements that include the product be PVC-free (Polyvinyl Chloride) and use at least 7.5 per cent less product than most other stretch wraps.
Diamant surpasses this with 25 per cent less material being used.
PROPRIETARY BIO-DIAMANT FILM in process
Uses TDPA™ Oxo-Biodegradable Technology licensed from EPI Environmental Products Inc
TDPA™ additives, when added to commodity plastic resins and their co-polymers, in various ranges create end products that are subsequently degradable, biodegradable and cost competitive.
Processed on standard manufacturing machines, TDPA™ incorporated plastics maintain the same product performance and characteristics as non-degradable plastics, for a controlled period of time until degradation is triggered by one or all triggers of heat, sunlight, or enhanced mechanical stress.
TDPA® - based plastic products will degrade and ultimately biodegrade, and once biodegrading is complete all that remains is carbon dioxide, water and biomass, all of which are part of the normal bio-cycle.
REGULATED ENVIRONMENT
DIAAF operates in a highly regulated industry.
DIAMANT™ film has been approved by Canadian Health Protection Branch for food contact
Qualifies for U.S. Food and Drug Administration non-objection status.
Recently, DIAMANT™ film was passed stringent EU guidelines and applicable laws regarding food hygiene for contact with aqueous, acidic, alcohol, oily and fatty food types.
NORTH AMERICAN MARKET & FOCUS
Currently the North American Industry is mature and is dominated by PVC stretch film producers.
DIAAF is pursuing specific market channels
* The packaging of meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables at super markets and food processors, which operate on automated production lines; The packaging of food at institutional establishments such as restaurants and catering operations, which operate on single machine or manual stations;
* The wrapping of foods in individual homes, and as a food container covers which involves only hand based wrapping from a boxed roll with cutter.
DIAAF’S PRODUCT VERSUS PVC
Some PVCs contain plasticizers called DEHP that have undesirable characteristics.
* Leaching of plasticizer into the foods being packaged and attendant health concerns; Extreme health risks in disposal via incineration due to the production of dioxins;
* Release during production of monomer, which is a carcinogen and corrosive vapor;
* Release of harmful vapors at the end-users locations during heat sealing, including supermarkets and food processors. DIAMANT™ film offers additional beneficial characteristics:
DIAMANT™ film offers a comparable competitively priced alternative that provides branding differential by promising an environmental responsible product.
* Up to 30% reduction in packaging waste due to lower density and gauge; Can be recycled or safely incinerated;
* Higher tensile strength per unit, allowing extrusion of thinner layers;
* Equal to 20% greater shelf life for perishable products, cutting customers costs;
* Can be printed on, which opens branding opportunities for supermarkets;
* Addresses increased consumer concern and awareness of environmental responsibility
* Other potential advantages claimed include: longer food shelf life; less food contamination; less waste - benefiting land fill sites; recycling and safe incineration, which will support its customers` desire to minimize garbage disposal costs and further underlines its competitive price when considering the complete spectrum of costs associated with PVC.
NORTH AMERICAN GROCERY CHAINS
"Our Environmental Choice(M) Program certification has provided us the luxury of having our Stretch Wrap recognized as an environmentally preferable product by two major North American grocery store chains. The product is truly unique it also reduces water vapor permeability so it keeps food fresher."
On September 15, 2004, Diamant concluded a successful 90-day test of its DIAMANT™ film with a large food retailer. September 21, 2004, Diamant reached an agreement with a second national supermarket retailer to test DIAMANT™ film.
NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL & SUPERMARKET SALES CHANNEL
On March 29, 2005, Diamant executed a five-year agreement, effective March 1, 2005, with Victory Packaging of Houston, Texas ("VICTORY") giving VICTORY exclusive sales and distribution rights to DIAMANT™ film in North America for industrial and supermarket applications.
VICTORY has approximately $350 million in annual revenues and operates 50 warehouses across North America.
Under the terms of the agreement, VICTORY agreed to purchase minimum quantities of DIAMANT™ film from 135 million feet, in year one, to 4.2 billion feet by year five. If fully delivered, the five-year contract represents an estimated $120 million in sales revenues.
UNITED STATES MILITARY MARKET
On March 10, 2005, Diamant signed an exclusive agreement with Presidential Holdings, Inc. giving PRESIDENTIAL the exclusive right to sell, market and distribute DIAMANT™ film to the United States military market.
PRESIDENTIAL comprises professional military and private sector consultants whom assist companies to develop supply contracts with the US military.
In addition, former Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy, Commander, Giffin, who is a senior strategic consultant with PRESIDENTIAL became a member of Diamant’s Advisory Board (see below)
EUROPEAN APPROVAL
Diamant Film Approved for all foods by Swiss and European Union Governing bodies. According to European Union guidelines, the result that Diamant ™ Film "corresponds to the currently applicable legal requirements regarding food hygiene for contact with aqueous, acidic, alcoholic and oily or fatty food stuffs".
This approval validates Diamant’s claims that Diamant ™ film can be used for all kinds of food.
OPERATIONAL SERVICES
On April 18, 2005, Diamant executed an out-sourcing agreement with Astron Bulk Packaging Limited ("ASTRON"), whereby ASTRON will provide operation services including, receiving bulk imports and repackaging and delivery to customers.
SINGLE SOURCE MANUFACTURER
DIAAF is wholly reliant on the single source manufacturer located in Switzerland, for product supplies.
In addition, the same party is the only manufacturing source for the specialized extruder production units and associated technical knowledge. The composition of the resin is a strictly secrete formulation that is highly complex. In addition, the Swiss had to modify the formulations for the North American market to allow for automated packaging lines.
The Swiss company has purposely not filed for patent protection, which is not uncommon in the industry. Oftentimes filing for patent protection reveals too much technical information that might enable competitors to re-engineer the product and process.
Under current configurations of the production facilities operated by the Swiss, their maximum current capacity is significantly lower than future contractual supply minimums to the Company and its distributors.
TECHNOLOGY & BACKGROUND
The owner and inventor of DIAMANT™ film, a Swiss-based company, first achieved commercial status in 2001 after an extensive, 10-year development on resin formulations and equipment design.
The major difference between the commercial markets in Europe versus the markets in North America is the mass production aspects typical of the North American industry.
Consumers in the North American market prefer to purchase their food groceries in greater bulk than their European counterparts who purchase their food groceries on an almost daily basis.
Acceptance by the North American mass-produced food packagers was dependant on modifying the resin formula to allow automated mass packaging.
Since April 2004, DIAAF, with the aid of the Swiss corporation, has largely achieved this initial transfer of technology to the North American markets and accommodating market-characteristics.

* The packaging of meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables at super markets and food processors, which operate on automated production lines; The packaging of food at institutional establishments such as restaurants and catering operations, which operate on single machine or manual stations;
* The wrapping of foods in individual homes, and as a food container covers which involves only hand based wrapping from a boxed roll with cutter.
DIAAF’S PRODUCT VERSUS PVC
Some PVCs contain plasticizers called DEHP that have undesirable characteristics.
* Leaching of plasticizer into the foods being packaged and attendant health concerns; Extreme health risks in disposal via incineration due to the production of dioxins;
* Release during production of monomer, which is a carcinogen and corrosive vapor;
* Up to 30% reduction in packaging waste due to lower density and gauge; Can be recycled or safely incinerated;
* Higher tensile strength per unit, allowing extrusion of thinner layers;
* Equal to 20% greater shelf life for perishable products, cutting customers costs;
* Can be printed on, which opens branding opportunities for supermarkets;

Check out DIAAF.
It has come to my attention that some sort of large PR campaign is about to start for DIAAF, so here is the heads up.
DIAAF is starting to show a slow increase in volume and the price is starting to pick up. DIAAF looks very cheap at these levels.
Here is the chart on DIAAF: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?s…
There has been a recent health concern over the plastic wrap used to cover food which contains a dangerous plasticizer called DEHP.
DIAAF has developed a new saran wrap style film that has been approved for all foods by Swiss and European Union Governing bodies. According to European Union guidelines, the result is that Diamant Film "corresponds to the currently applicable legal requirements regarding food hygiene for contact with aqueous, acidic, alcoholic and oily or fatty food stuffs".
DIAAF has the world`s first plasticizer-free stretch film based on polystyrene and the first food wrap film that is environmentally friendly and recyclable.
DIAAF, through its wholly owned subsidiary Diamant Film Inc., has secured the exclusive marketing and distribution rights in the United States, Territory of the People`s Republic of China, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas to Diamant (TM) film, a non-PVC food stretch film.
China recently banned harmful plastic wrappers, so this is a huge potential market for DIAAF. China has over 1 billion people.
The US market is currently dominated by PVC stretch film that releases of harmful vapors at the end-users locations during heat sealing, including supermarkets and food processors. Learn more about the new DIAAF film at: http://www.diamantfilm.com

2005-12-08
DIAMANT ART CORPORATION QUASHES INTERNET RUMOURS

@jseyffer,

Diamant Film`s Environmentally Friendly Solutions to Be Introduced to the Caribbean Marketplace
TORONTO, Mar 14, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Diamant Art Corporation (DIAAF : diamant art corp com
Last: 0.01+0.00+9.23%
DIAAF0.01, +0.00, +9.2%) is pleased to announce today that, through its Bio-Plastics division, the company`s products will be introduced to the Caribbean marketplace through the company`s marketing agreement with M2 Formulex, Inc., a leading sales and marketing agency in North America for environmentally friendly and biodegradable products.
M2 Formulex has been working with an importer to Jamaica to introduce biodegradable packaging and address Jamaica`s interest in seeking out sustainable, environmentally friendly packaging alternatives. One of M2 Formulex`s products that will be introduced to the Caribbean market is Diamant Film, the world`s first plasticizer-free stretch film based on polystyrene and the first food wrap film that is environmentally friendly and recyclable.
The Jamaican Government has long been committed to dealing with various environmental concerns -- one of those being packaging materials used in the country`s packaged food and food service industries. The impact traditional packaging has on the island`s environment is detrimental. To that end, the government has been working with importers to seek out environmentally friendly packaging solutions and address the large volume of packaging materials entering Jamaica each year.
Samples of Diamant Film were sent to Jamaica for evaluation, and the importer has decided to pursue introduction of the film, along with the biodegradable packaging and cutlery offered by M2 Formulex.
In anticipation of the success that the biodegradable packaging and Diamant Film will have in the Jamaican market, the importer has requested exclusivity from M2 Formulex and Diamant Film to distribute not only in Jamaica, but the rest of the Caribbean as well.

TSC has upgraded their equity rating on DIAAF
So jedenfalls mein Eindruck.

China bans harmful plastic wrappers
By Guan Xiaofeng (China Daily)
Updated: 2005-10-26 05:41
Plastic food wrappers containing a dangerous material have been banned nationwide, quality-control authorities announced yesterday.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine admitted in a press conference that some supermarkets used PVC wrappers that contained DEHA to pack food.
Some supermarkets used PVC wrappers that contained DEHA to pack food. DEHA could harm human health when it is used to pack fatty food or heated in a microwave. [China Daily]
DEHA is a plasticizer which makes the PVC material pliable and was not among the list of 65 kinds of plasticizers banned two years ago.
Consumers are advised to buy plastic food wrappers made of PE, a safe material, or PVC wrappers that contain no DEHA.
Liu Zhaobin, the spokesman for the administration, said DEHA could harm human health when it is used to pack fatty food or heated in a microwave.
Among the tough new measures proposed are:
The administration will strengthen inspection over the plastic food-wrapper industry, and manufacturers using DEHA in PVC wrappers will be severely penalized.
Ji Zhengkun, director of the administration's department of quality inspection, said: "Producers found using DEHA in food wrappers will be closed down immediately and ordered to recall all their products."
The administration will ban the import and export of PVC wrappers that fail to meet the national safety standard. Ji said PVC food wrappers would be added to mandatory inspection list in Customs soon.
The requirements on quality will be raised in a new national standard for the industry.
Supermarkets and shops are ordered to withdraw all plastic food wrappers without labels indicating the material they are made of; and whether they are safe for microwave use.
Ji advised consumers to check labels carefully before they buy food wrappers.
If they buy PVC (without DEHA) wrappers, they should not use it to wrap meat, cooked food or fatty food, or in microwave ovens. However, they can be safely used to wrap vegetables or fruits.
Of the 44 brands of homemade PVC food wrappers surveyed by the administration, almost all meet safety standards except for a few that contained DEHA.
There are 47 producers of plastic food wrappers on the Chinese mainland, of which six use PVC. The domestic market accounts for 90 per cent of their products while the remaining 10 per cent are exported.
